On a previous visit we sourced the information. But heaps of muggles around GZ so today was enjoyed the sunshine and drove to the area and had a picnic in the park, followed by a quick find at GZ. Thanks Team Crackers for this series.
Found with CJDenno. We found all the required information and got a suitable set of coordinates. We made our way to GZ and initially struggled to find the cache. We had some lunch and decided to return. This time, we found it much more quickly. The cache, container and logbook are all in magnificent condition.I visited 4 TBTFTC
**Wooden Work 15** *by *Team Crackers**Find 1627*It was a slimy, leechy type of morning. Some weeding in a nearby reserve resulted in *a few* (read: **a lot** ) of the slippery suckers attaching themselves to various participants of the CITO.My geo-PIC (partner-in-crime) Snips and Co was eager not to return to the forest, so we teamed up with CeeJayDenno and PrezDough for more arboreal pursuits. Luckily for us CJD had already crunched the numbers on this one, which made for an easy find/sign for us.TNLNSL. Thanks Team Crackers for the series and in particular this hide. Another Wooden Work to add to my collection! Thanks to the human ladder who had arrived moments before, the cache was signed and returned quickly. Love this series, thank you Team Crackers
Found with PrezDough, LTEC and SnipsnCo.
We initially found the appropriate information and headed to GZ.
Sure enough, we struggled.
So off to the nearby CITO and the follow on event.
We gained some useful information from previous finders and made our way back.
This time it was found much more easily.
Many thanks for this old gem.
All is well here.
I visited 3 TB.

Coming back from Ship Rock we made a quick stop here to check the cache and all is still good.
Found with LittleFergzter while Mrs Fergzter was at Gillwell park for Scout stuff. All is well with the cache.
Hey Team Crackers long time no see!
Log by the 5 year old geokid ‘I loved the geocache, I found it. It’s pretty slippery today I fell over and hurt myself but I’m ok’

That is such an awesome park. Will be coming back in nicer weather. Really enjoyed that find it was in a good spot. Container resembles something funny. Thanks for the laugh
We found Wooden Work 15- One for the Kids 5 while on a walk around town after a puppy puffing billy adventure.
The GZ was quickly calculated and we made our way to the hide, which I quickly retrieved.
Thanks Team Crackers for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves. Nice to find an old one.

On a regular trip to Gembrook, found this one as we drove past at dusk… no junior muggles in sight!
My main focus for 2023 is to try and get close to qualifying for [The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge (GC7RCQ3)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7RCQ3), and today I needed to find another non-traditional cache.
I have also started to work on qualifying for the [AUSmer Challenge (GC6XVTD)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6XVTD). So I opened up Project-GC and searched to see if there were any non-traditional caches that could help fill in one of my missing months.
Well I don't have a lot of unfound solved mystery caches, so I targeted multi caches when I came across this one.
*A December 2004 cache, Ooo!*
So I hopped in the geomobile after work and headed over. I really need to get out to Gembrook more often. The drive is always so nice and the area always so beautiful.
The park was actually quite busy with little muggles today. However, I got lucky thou as where I parked allowed me a vantage point to be able to gather all the required information I needed from inside my geomobile. I then did the little bit of maths.
*Whew! glad this one wasn't too close to the play equipment.*
I then made the short walk over to GZ and started my search. My phone honed in onto one beacon, and after making a few circles around it I finally found myself stairing right at the cache.
A nice easy one. Big thanks to [Team Crackers](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=3e759bb5-6c22-465a-adbd-913815d537ab&wid=f7f6b0f8-10f2-4f75-9ffb-9e29f60c8ece&ds=2) for the fun today and TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry. One of the logbook pages is now full, but I was the first signature on the second page, so plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.

Having finished walking the nearby rail trail and starting an Adventure lab I pondered weather to try this multi. Normally their wouldn't be an issue but with a young child playing in vicinity of questions I was a bit hesitant.. so Acting like a tourist I wondered over to look at said questions how I didn't stuff up the maths was a surprise. With co- ordinates in had I took a short walk to locate the cache and stamp the log.
Great afternoon at the skate park thought I'd check if there's was any around and bingo
After spending the night camping out in the bush following some geo events over the weekend, LeeLee headed here on the way home as she realised this old one fills a spot on the hidden month/year calendar.
A cool park for the kids!
Thanks Team Crackers for keeping this one going for so long and great to meet up during the events.

Bingo bango love a golden oldie and I am on a multi mission so this was a perfect option given I wanted to dodge raindrops. After making the observations and smiling at the family playing in the rain it was off to GZ and then the next GEO Event. TFTC AND THE FUN
Found after the nearby CITO with Posums and LukeSistema. Nice to tick an oldie off the list! Many thanks for the cache

After the first celebration of Freddy's birthday, and pulling out massive quantities of forget-me-nots, it was back to looking for Tupperware in the bush.
One last cache before heading out of Gembrook. Pretty easy to count bits from the warm, dry car (though we initially made a small mistake and had to return once we realised).
Thanks, Team Crackers... almost a drive-by, but not quite.

I was over this way for the weekend to attend all of Manfred’s birthday events.
Unforeseen circumstances resulting in me missing his birthday breakfast this morning but hopefully I can make it up to him at lunch.
So after attending the nearby CITO Gemma, Luke and I headed off to find a few more before the next event.
Something different this time as I was the navigator and Gemma the driver as it is usually the other way around when we catch up.
Gemma went to one tree I went to the other and the cache was soon in hand.
Great to find an other oldie out in the wild.
Thanks Team Crackers TFTC

It is always a pleasure to bump into Team Crackers at geocaching events, as we did this morning.
Some time was also spent here pulling out weeds with the locals.
This was one targeted cache along with a nearby tribute to Team Crackers Mystery.
Both were found in good condition.
An excellent start to the day.

After attending a few events locally earlier this morning and today, The Welder, geo-pup and decided to take advantage of a free afternoon and collect some other caches around Gembrook. Good to see This oldie is still going strong. No issues with muggles today as the rain has set in. Thanks for the cache.

In the area for work again today. Added that plastic bag and silica bag for the logbook to keep it a bit drier up here in “sunny” Gembrook.
Done a bit of a dodgy with this one today. While in the area for work, I stopped off during the lunch break to get the numbers to solve it. And then used the work vehicle for cover to make the find. Next time I’m back here I’ll need to bring a silica bag and plastic bag to put the logbook in as the logbook is a tad damp. Grabbed the TB too.
Out on my own today enjoyinga birthday treat ABB at Gembrook . Getting to the end of my day and very hot. Nice easy multi here and a short to pull out the container. Nice town here. Cache in excellent condition' Thanks for the cache Team Crackers.
Fun little cache to finish off out day out. Good spot to FIDDLER3000. To bag she couldn't reach. Tftc
What better thing to do on Good Friday than go caching. We decided to have lunch in Gembrook but were a bit early so we checked out this multi. The information was sorted and the maths done. The cache was a quick and easy find.
Lovely playground, wish I was younger. Only got it with the hint. Log still wet but could write on it. My 50th cache, yippee
Great camoflauge !
The log is very soggy, and there's water in the cache. We tried to dry it as much as possible.

Covid-19 restrictions are now off and geocaching is on again so time to enable again.
Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions Geo Caching is not a reason to be out so we are disabling our caches untill safe to enable again.
Please stay home and be Safe.

We ventured north to Pakenham today for The Driver to get some grub screws which apparently aren’t available in Bass Coast, the we took further advantage of the fine weather and few more daylight hours to go to Gembrook to find a few more caches and see some ferns and tall trees. It was a delightful drive in the sun although a bit chilly. There were heaps of kids and their parents around the newly finished playground but we were able to gather the required information while sitting in the car. Calculations made, we moved away a bit closer to GZ. The playground is indeed a delight of wooden and other materials put together to encourage various aspects of exercise for children of many ages. The cache was away from the crowds and found. It would probably be impossible for someone in a wheelchair to recover the cache ( a requirement for T1). Thanks for the excuse to visit this lovely town again. ...now how many more Wooden Works caches have I got to find?
The park is is full working order now and very nice indeed. I hate the sort of comment in the log before mine. I didn't find the search easy at all. I went back to check my figures - they were correct. I finally spot the cache thank goodness. Thanks Team Crackers.
Today we found a variety of different cache types while out on the hunt with ilook4geo. Each physical cache found had both names or initials added to it and all were put back as they had been found. It was a fun day and this cache was a part of our success. Thanks go to Team Crackers for creating this multi cache.
Did a selection of caches today with goingplaces2 and had a good day by finding different kinds in the mix. Logs were signed and each one was different. Thanks for hiding this cache.
Some fabulous new work has been completed at this playground and all questions were answered easily, with full access now available. And so it was off to GZ not far away at all. Our last for the day and a quick find and sign at 8.23pm. Log was a little damp but able to be signed. #6824 TFTC Team Crackers and good to see this one is still in play, despite changes to the playground equipment.
Came past again today and although the works have not yet finished the information is available. You will not be able to get to right to WP1 until the works have finished but you are still able to collect the information, just a bit more walking.

The information is available and the cache is waiting to be found again.

Dropped in after an extended stay out of the state only to find the works are still going on.
It will be great when finished but may be a while yet.

After a coffee & pie at the bakery l thought would tackle the two multi's in town, l reckon the coffee was a good one because l found both ... TFTC
Geokids had fun working out this one. Once we found the coordinates we found it quite easily but had to be careful of nearby muggles. Tftc
After a few weeks of limited caching I had a free Saturday to head out and grab a few caches. I had spent the morning in the inner northern suburbs with a friend but once he had to duck off to family commitments I headed out east. Mid-afternoon I ended up in Gembrook with a view to following the rail trail back towards Cockatoo. I spotted a couple of multis and a puzzle nearby that I decided to tackle first. This was the first of those and having gathered the information with no problems (and no-one else around) I made the short walk to check for the cache. A quick find in a likely spot. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache and the Wooden Work series Team Crackers.
With a full day of caching we headed east as we targeted multi's. With some help from beckNmonts we soon had a GZ that remained elusive for a short while. That was until the big guns (male Triton) got out of the car and said "is this what your looking for?" doh! Not sure how I missed it but we soon signed the log and returned it, the whole time having the area to ourselves.
Thanks Team Crackers for another Wooden Work cache, what a great series.

Found at 1615 while on a pre-Christmas caching run with SirJ-Oz and Muggle-L. SirJ did all the maths on this one, so it was only appropriate that he made the find (I did double-check the cords, but only so that I felt like I’d earned the smiley). Between the kids in the playground and the impromptu car maintenance happening at GZ some stealth was required, but we had it in spades.
Thanks for the cache Team Crackers.

Find #4048. Found @ 16:15 with AmethystPig and Muggle-L
My self-appointed challenge for the year is to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that. To get me closer, AmethystPig, Muggle-L and I decided to walk the Cockatoo to Gembrook trail.
Now that we'd walked the trail, there were still some nearby caches to find. This was the closest, and, conveniently had a nearby convenience. Muggle-L and I crunched the numbers while AmethystPig was otherwise occupied. Then AP did his own calcs before a stroll to GZ. We walked past the location before doubling back and I made the find.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

There were not too many children at the playground today so i was able to seach unhindered TFTC
At listed coordinates, we looked around and started to count the items needed. A few little muggles were running around. Did the required maths, and a set of coordinates were calculated. As we approached GZ, we read the hint, and the "voila" the cache was spotted. Had to be quick and subtle as there were muggles coming from all dierctions. TFTC Team Crackers.

Found this one on this rather chilly and wet afternoon while grabbing a few caches on our way down to Drouin for a few days. We soon had the final co-ord's sorted and set off and after a short search had the cache in hand. Thanks Team Crackers for the straight forward little multi and hide.
Away for the weekend with omegaman and Happy pants grabbing a few caches.
It started out as a reasonable day but slowly deteriorated, along with my ability to make some of these find.
Having obtained the co-ords previously, things had changed here and a makeover done but it still didn't take too long before the container was in hand and the log signed.
Thanks Team Crackers for placing the cache for us to find.

I pulled up here today in my search of multi’s and thought one question was a trick question. Of course it wasn’t really. A recalculation and I had some reasonable looking coordinates. Off I headed, but then I had to wait out a bus before making the find. I was able to spot the hide whilst waiting. Finally the bus took off and I was able to sign the log. Thanks for taking me to this great park Team Crackers. I need to keep doing your wooden work puzzles as I’m in search of a playground that my grandmother used to take me to. I hope it’s still around!
The geokids and I had a free day and decided to take a ride on Puffing Billy to Gembrook. What a gorgeous Autumnal day! Once in Gembrook we had some time to kill, so with icy poles in hand we decided to scurry around and find these two multi’s. Great caches, lovely walk and all around good day. Thanks for the caches Team Crackers!
Suscoe had a big day out along the Puffing Billy Alignment today.
It was glorious sunshine, very gentle breezes and no too many vehicular muggles spoiling the fun.
We started out from Ferntree Gully bright and early and ending our easterly journey at Gembrook.
We had a brilliant day out, thanks to all those kind cachers who placed some caches in delightful spots along the way.
Thanks to Team Crackers for this multi, what a delightful play space.
Soon had what we needed and there was the cache.

Managed to grab this cache on my second visit today. The nice play area was deserted and I put together the numbers with no haste’s, unfortunately a guy sat in his car right in front of gz. I waited for a while but there was no movement, so off to grab another one and returned later. This time 3 ladies were set to leave the area, but found more things to chat about. Eventually I was left alone to grab the cache. Thanks Team Crackers. Left a tb and a favourite point.
K8_98 and I had a bit of fun on the empty playground before doing this simple multi and making a quick find. TFTC
We had to be quick here as the rain was pouring down. We got what we needed and then headed over to make a quick find of the cache. Thanks Team Crackers.
The rain this afternoon meant that the entire area was completely clear. There was a handy spot to stay dry as we gathered the required clues and then headed off to find the hide. A nice container here, and it is was good to find one of these older caches. Funnily enough this is the first time I have visited Gembrook, it is a lovely little town with so many charming old buildings.
Thanks to Team Crackers for placing this cache.

A multi on a day like today. How far will I have to walk in this heat? Well I started my search and spotted a train making dust in the distance. Gathered the clues and was soon at my destination. Thanks Team Crackers
We drove past GZ today and saw a lot of clean up work has taken place so we stopped to make sure the cache was not involved.
Happily it was not and is still where it should be.

Having dnfed this last time due to blackberries, I had to redo my calculations. I only come this way if I have a Scout event or meeting at Gilwell Park. Today I was 30mins early so took advantage of the down time. Alas, gz was problematic due to muggles. Went to meeting and came back a few hours later. More muggles! But then my luck changed...they moved on. A quick grab, sign and return before they came back to their car. TFTC and bringing me to such an interesting playground (if only team draggedalong were 10 years younger).

Caching the area today with Papillon4506 and Geoturtle37.
I really love these wooden works multis. Must take a look and see how many I have left to do.

Have been meaning to do this cache a few times and have done the puzzle a few times but never had the time to get the cache, except for 1 time when it wasn't actually there.
While our daughter enjoyed the playgrounds, the rest of us quickly did the puzzle again, and while everyone had a bit of food, I rushed off to grad the cache. Could see the cache, but think it is well hidden enough from anyone not looking for it. Replaced as found
Thanks for the adventure Team Crackers

Quick find one we figured out the hint was bogus. Getting it was another problem. Watch where you step or you'll end up having to find a source of water before getting back in the car. TFTC
That'll teach us not to read the comments... After focusing on the hint and coming into contact with too many thorns to be healthy... Tally Tiger took a seat (after we requisitioned her walking stick to search) and took a read of the comments... Then it was just a matter of battling the area where a horse did their business... And attempting to return the cache...
Today we explored the area between Cockatoo and Three Bridges using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. A straight forward multi and an easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had a fantastic day up in the hills looking for caches.
A nice quick and simple multi here. The clever hiding spot had me second guessing but spotted it eventually.
Cache found in good condition. Thanks Team Crackers

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

The wife wanted to go shopping so I dragged the kids to go get a coffee at Emerald and with a bit of luck bump into puffing billy. Little did I know that a major event was taking place at Gembrook so I drove on further to a market and 'race thomas' event. The traditional was right on the race finish line, so I couldn't give that more than a cursory look, although I recalled some playgrounds in this town worth checking out and this was one of them. fortunately for me an old cache was also to be found here and it inspired me to grab a couple more whilst I was in town. tftc
I knew that I had done this one so went back and found the correct date. Sorry that I didn't log it at the time. Hate to think of what others I have missed. Loving this series. So much effort.
A quick and easy multi as we cache our way through the area today. What an excellent playground. Ther has been a heck of a lot of thought and effort put into creating this place. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
