Out today with Claire_geo and muggle friends Bonnie & Jamie. This was our second cache for today.
We all searched GZ, looked amongst the bongs, broken glass and other rubbish, for about 20mins but had no luck.
We will return if it is found or replaced soon.

Searched for this one today with Ant24, Bonnie & James. Found lots of other things but no cache...
It's a great spot to look out over the landscape. I looked for ages in ever-widening circles, but couldn't find it - no I hadn't been smoking anything through the bong bottles strewn around the place there. Just had an attack of cache blindness I suppose.
Geocaching with Kellickguider, Securtech and Elruano, this was our 5th of 11 finds today.
There was a nice breeze here on a hot day. We approached from the NE and had no trouble with fences or cliffs.

In the 30+ heat of the day, I was beginning to think it was more trouble than it was worth while walking to GZ. Once I arrived the cache was easily found. TFTC
Accompanied with Patox for the day. She found it before me.... Beautiful view, Pity rubbish (junkie) anyway we still enjoyed walk along to the cache. SL. Thanks Lt. Sniper for organising the cache and hunt.
Parked & followed instructions to a tee. However progress means that even in a 2wd, it is almost a drive by - only on Sunday as I expect the way in will be a construction site during the rest of the week. TFTC
Cache located easily today. Didn't know that MJ was sold in little leaf-printed bags these days. Learn something new every day. TFTH
Out on a day with Mum and Dad.
New pipeline clearing makes getting there a lot easier.
spent the best part of an hour searching, yet 6 eyes failed to spot it. plenty of bongs up there though.
any tips as to where its hidden? really annoyed i missed this one.

2nd of 10 finds for us today.
Not sure exactly what path we took to find this cache as we parked at the co-ordinates provided and walked in and arrived at the cache without following any of the instruction in the cache description?? We scratched our head a bit, till we worked out that yes we were definitely in the correct spot.
A quick search around the GZ and the cache was soon located. We were actually suprised that it was still there seeing that there were many alcohol bottles and other ummm... "smoking devices" scattered all around the GZ, but I guess when the "locals" are in that state of mind they would not be able to see a cache if it jumped up and bit them anyway !!
Grabbed a TB and dropped a geocoin
Thanks for the hunt Lt. Sniper
Cheers

Found this after a arvo around the area. What a top spot. My third for the day.

Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Found at 1.05pm after doing some other caches nearby. The Water Pipeline "road" probably made this a bit easier. It certainly made it easier to return to my vehicle parked 1.25km away. TNLN. TFTC.
Found this one on Saturday afternoon. Nice spot with a great view. Dropped a Tazo and took a rubber bouncy ball.
Pleasant walk although wasn't sure about heading up near the motorway. Fence had been repaired again but was quickly able to get around it.
Judging by the rubbish in the area it seems that GZ is a popular hangout for some beer drinking, bong smoking people.
Good views.

This was an interesting walk. The fence hole has been partially repaied but is of no problem to a keen cacher! TFTC.
A small detour on the way home TNLN. In the dark as usual came in from the back street after doing the other two caches. Don't you always find an easy way out after bush bashing to all three.
Nice walk up the left side and strolled back via the other side. TFTC
No sign of the TB in the cache.

Found this one from the hard direction.Still getting used to this new GPS and when to ignore what it is telling me to do. Great view TFTC.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 2:30pm. Quite an easy walk along the track to this cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Took the left side of the fence and found the cache easily.
Great view of the world passing by from here.

After a long hot walk I finally found this one. I left my hat on a post near Critter Crossing after I had walked back and taken a rest in the shade (it was there when I went back so all is good)
Swapped a die for a squirty Grenade
TB Kokopelli also came for a ride but thought it was too noisy near the freeway so hopped back in my pocket.

What a fantastic spot! Walked here from Evreser Notterts 1. Found the first hole in the fence and walked along the highway side of the fence but then almost didn't find the second hole in the fence! No matter, being on the right side of the fence afforded a great view. Found very quickly. TNLN, TFTC!

After locating Evreser Notterts 1 we thought we continue along the path to see if we could locate this cache. We enjoyed the elevated view of the highway as we turned the corner. However, when Mr Ink reached the top of the wall (I went the hard way!) and Mrs Ink was half way up a low flying helicopter flew over us. Mini Inks were happy to wave at it while Mum and Dad ducked for cover hoping that we didn't have to explain to some Federal police representative what we were doing up there.

Wow, what a view. It's amazing how noisy it is up there! After a bit of shuffling around to find a good place to park because of the road closure we hiked up. Nice easy hide.

The area is udergoing development so we could not get to the car park suggested.
Did a round about park and got to the motor way and then headed north.
Kids nealry lost a soccer ball down to the motor way but it was saved by a tree.
Took us about 10 mins to find. Well hidden.
Took one item left 1 item.

great walk and great spot to hide a cache, hard to fit every thing back into container,tn,left 5 dollars and some pirate booty, aaaaaargh!
Found it today and collected Little Nellie TB. It was very easy to find and since the original cache was 'lost', I hid it a little bit better - same place, just some more covering.
What a view & so close to home...found by Daughter Emily...well hidden...

Fantastic, first to find the new location. You get an A+ for fantastic camouflage on this one. The co-ordinates were fantastically right on and the contents are . . . well . . . fantastic of course.
Left a pocket knife that colour co-ordinates nicely with the container and took the Crew's Compass Rose Geocoin.

The original cache has gone missing, no doubt kids found it.
The cache has been replaced and now is in a more out of the way area.
GeoCoin added to new cache.

Hi, pretty sure i found the right spot but i think this one has been muggled - indentation in the ground - rocks moved but no cache. let me know if i was right!
What view? It was raining, so I had to content myself with watching the traffic - yuck! I'll go back on a fine day and stroll around the vicinity, and perhaps watch the lights come on as the sun sets. I've done some pretty adventureous (stupid?) things in my time, but there was no way I was gonna climb that cliff in the wet. The easy way was indeed, very easy.
Took Gwendalyn (spelling??) Wallace's girlfriend but can't remember what I left. I'm gonna have to start writing this stuff down before I leave GZ. Great sniper location.

This was only 700 crow metres from home Lt Sniper. A lot of construction where the original suggested park area was, has been blocked off completely at present. Should only take a few weeks to clear, and there is another safer park in suburbia nearby that still gives access to the track. Saves about a 100 metre extra walk. Nice views up here; we did it when still light but I'm sure it would be brilliant at night. Thanks. TNLNSL
Cache text changed and no need to make this a multi since the council as blocked off access to 4x4s now using that track.

The fact that people can drive their cars to the cache is disturbing and wasn’t the point of the cache, I need to make this a multi that you have to do on foot.
Found it. Having riden my MTB through the area many times I knew where to head. This time I walked in from the west and followed the 4WD track. If the Subaru had the ground clearance I could have driven to it.
Thanks LS

I loved this cache - Our fried Lt. Sniper certainly finds some great spots - this one really took me by surprise.
I ignored all the clues and advice where to park etc... i followed my nose and took the Patrol all the way to the cache.... (Turning around was interesting!!!)
Looking forward to more of your work Lieutenant.

Found the cache after returning to the car a few times looking for reliable batteries for my GPS. A nice walk and no trouble finding the spot.
Great view just as the lights were coming on in Logan City.
Didn't trade this time - just filled in log.
A spot I probably would never have known about.Thanks.

Parked at the recommended spot and headed to the cache. Came across the chain & went that way. On the return journey, I used the other track. Both are as easy as each other, but by initially taking the left track, you avoid having to crawl on your guts under the fence. TNLN. Thanks Lt Sniper.
For statistical reasons, we had to bag one more cache before the picnic, so an early morning visit was in order. We did consider going for a FTF on Rush Hour, but after being first at another cache yesterday, we have left the honours to somebody else.
Cache was found without any dramas after an interesting walk. No swaps today.

Out for a push bike ride today and noticed this cache very near by. Wow what a great spot for sitting around and enjoying the passing parade! Left a car and keyring and took Wombat TB. Recommend this cache for anyone who is a bit bored of run of the mill hole in the wall finds.
This one might have to become a Multi since no ones taking the 'fun' way up [B)]
I took dak's Emu Mob and The Garner Family to find this one, it’s not as easy as it seems [xx(]
The cache was in good condition and guarded by the mother of all spiders
It is here that I drop off my now good pal 'Wombat' who has travelled with me to about 5-6 different caches. I hope the next person to grab him takes his on a few adventures as well

As per dak's log entry, we dutifully followed Lt Sniper's prompting and went the hard way, despite the presence of an obviously easier path.
This resulted in me clawing to the side of a 85° incline (OK, so I'm exagerating a bit) trying to get a foothold while I steadily ripped my leg apart while I slipped down the mountain.
We took the easy way down. TNLN.

Sixth of eight finds for the night in company with The Garner Family and Lt Sniper. One would think that one would have an advantage when one has the cache owner in tow. One would be incorrect in one's thinking. [:o)] Mr Garner and I were instructed to complete the cache in the method prescribed, to the detriment of Mr Garner's knee. [B)] Emus are considerably more adept at running up hills, fortunately. The cache was being guarded by one of the biggest spiders we saw that night! We had to disturb its web somewhat, and then lived in fear lest it dropped on us to wreak revenge! We managed to escape sans venom. TNLNSL. Thanks to Lt Sniper for the fun.
sid and rod on a trip to the big smoke came after this one. followed the directions and no problems. tnln thanks sniper

Had no trouble finding this. Took Rubber Chicken TB and padlock and left party poppers as none of our other trades would fit.
It seemed we were on a Lt Sniper themed outing this day, having attempted and even finding several others by the good Lt. in this area.
Turns out there are 2 relatively easy ways through the fence.
A great spot to sit and relax for a few before starting the hike back to the parking spot.
Traded TB, took the Raw Prawn, left the Rubber Chicken

Hunky Dorey woz 'ere.
It was a cute little find, rode my hybrid bike up there and got some exercise. Easily found and the weather was OK too.
Left the Raw Prawn to begin it's journey off to UK.
Also left a red crab fridge magnet I collected from Queensland some time back.

With my usual thursday night sport still on xmas break, I decided to go and visit this cache.
Turned up at the starting point and it was raining lightly - I had no raincoat, but thought what the hell, its not cold! so off I went torch in hand. Followed a track over-run by cane toads to GZ. Naturally, the rain got heavier. Stumbled around in the dark for about 10 minutes but eventually found the cache. Signed the log, squinted at the view through the rain.
Got back to the car totally drenched, but mission successful.
Thanks for the cache
