The time has come to move on and try geocaching in a new place. Sadly this means we cannot support this cache anymore and reluctantly close it and have removed the cache.

What a neat spot! We went with two local friends who had never heard of this place. TFTC.
A fun visit to Nelson for a few sunny days with some very enjoyable caches both in location and hiding style. I don't think a compass would work in Nelson given all the magnets located about the place. Any way thanks to all the local cachers for all the local caches, please excuse the template log.
Martha and Samuel are well. Not too chatty though.
Never knew this place existed!

found it after a little search and relaxed on the newly installed seats after my most productive g-cache day, so far, of 6 finds (on my bike).
Neat place.
You would not know it was there unless you went looking for the cache.
Nice piece of local history.

Had some time free whilst Mrs Aldocandy was beautified even more. This was the nearest cache and as a bonus I certainly wouldn't have visited otherwise.

Went up last night in the dark and had no idea where I was and no torch so went back today and found it! Was in a rush so will go back another time to have the better look at the panels!
Would love to see photos of it!

I found a lot of caches with my Dad - Biggles - and never logged these online. Now I've got my own account, its time to set things straight. Thanks for all the fun, Flying Phoenix.
What a special hidden spot. Lil' stu (8) found this all by himself with biggles (dad) looking on.
An easy find.. this place has changed since I was up here last! Think I might come back here with friends soon! Almost a strange set up with the seats...

Pretty quick and easy find... though I'm not sure it's great to be looking here to protect the history... it is breaking down.
Tried this one yesterday in the rain with no luck, co ordinates all over the place. Returned today with not much more luck but widened my hunting circle & with the aid of the clue....found it! TFTC
Interesting spot. Not sure about searching GZ. But found and signed log anyway. TFTC.
In a rush but looked in all obvious places - not in obvious place so will try again next time
Nice wee spot - Nelson has done well to remember & recognise all these littel bits of history.

Easy find in an interesting spot with history attached. A solo effort since the rest of the team are at home in Auckland. TFTC.
Easy find in the dark with the help of a mini torch from a previous cache swap. A nice slice of history. TFTC
Ooh, there are bitey things here at night! Did on the way home in the dark, easy find though and interesting history.
Nice hide, left Mrs.F the Grandparents and the little Fuddleys at Mc'Ds while I did this one, didn't know this was here Thanks. Log book is in need of replacement as it is getting full.
Very cool spot that you would never know about if not brought here to find a cache. I was staying with reletives that have lived in the area for about 15 years and didn't know this place existed. Thanks for sharing your local knowledge of history
Quick found, we used the hint. It's in the near to our hostel. If all this travellers would know.....TFTC Coxibleu
Quick find with the help of the clue. Never knew this spot was here despite having visited rellies in Nelson numerous times so great place to hide a cache.
Mrs Explorer was a bit nervous at doing this one in the dark, a bit spooky. Found ok with clue but trees made reception a bit dodgy. Deadly quiet up here tonight. TFTC.
I never new that this place existed even thou I have walked past it about 100 times.
We took a while finding this one as we approached it from the wrong direction and got stuck at the backpackers. An easy find once we had realised our mistake.
an interesting location that we did not know about. Kind of creepy in fact. Easy find, cheers
All I can say is thanks to geocaching for showing us these little hidden spots. Its amazing what is right under your nose but goes un-noticed.
Very wet today.

Another interesting bit of history to look up on the Internet. Good to see this place is honoured and information on the quaker background is given. Thanks for this cache one would normally never find or visit. (The 'logbook' is fairly full, wrote on the back of the little page).

Another one of those places that you would never know about unless there was a cache there, it being a well hidden location in the middle of town. Easy find thanks.
Amazing little gem of history, sort of place you could work next door to or drive past for years and never know it's there. Good to see the council putting some information up at such places.
Quick find, many thanks.

A straight forward find along with larkminda. Walked right past the area several times and didn't know it existed!
You really need the hint to find this one. Thanks for the interesting historical spot.
Interesting place for a bit of history. Kinda place you drive past but never know its there. Quick find. TFTC.
An interesting piece of history hidden away.Found without too much trouble.Felt the biting critters though. Log book full on one side so turned over.

Back again to this great spot so the Mrs could find the cache also .. she was slightly quicker than Mr .. but only by seconds Awesome spot! TFTC
What a great place. would never have know that it was here!! Cheers for the find.
Thanks! As others have said - a surprising find in a surprising location. Found about a dozen good places to hide a cache before I stumbled upon it, at which time the mosquitoes had their way with me (again).
Amazing piece of history that would never have been found on a normal trip to the city.
[86] Yet another neat place that I never would have known existed if it hadn't been for geocaching. Thanks!
Did this little micro while the family was in the nearby Bead Shop - suited us all! Just as I was driving off I spotted a couple heading up the stairs clutching a piece of paper and ...a yellow GPS? Looks like I just missed saying hello to yarcs. TFTC.

This was nearest to where we were staying in Nelson so we tackled it first. Really interesting, and an easy find to start with. Thanks.
Had mapped it and had a quick look at the general location yesterday when arriving in town and driving past and was initially puzzled as to where a cache could be. Quick escape from work today and all was revealed.

Bagged this cache whilst Mrs C2H chatted with some friends from when she lived in Nelson 7 years ago. An intereting spot of history hidden from the crowd. TFTC TNLNSL

Another hidden piece of history around Nelson.Pretty small acre though!TFTC. Stamps.
Visiting Nelson for Junior Knights birthday. After the party we went for a walk to visit the Len Lye exhibition at the Suter and stopped by this cache on the way.
Nice walk, TNLN
If I had a sick sense of humor (and no respect for those resting there) I would hide a skeletal hand behind one of those loose stones

We found this location in the dark a few days ago but decided to go back with all members of Whakatu3 in daylight to find the cache. A lovely piece of Nelson history in an unsuspected spot!
