Logs
After careful consideration I have decided to archive this cache and bring home my Thermos flask. I hope everyone has enjoyed their finds and maybe one day I may unarchive it and put another cache in the area.
A log soon to be deleted thanks to the blatant theft of the cache, As they say small minds equals ????? ????. Back online soon.
823. No logbook could be found, however Mr Coffee suggested that this could be logged, due to some anti-social behaviour.
Nice area for a hide, what with great old trees and a river - with water.

Our 600th find in our caching career hopefully many more to go. What a fitting cache to log as our 600th but Mr Coffee's Thermos Flask, we had heard about this trademark cache out one of our first caching events, and have been waiting to do it for a long time and what better way then making it number 600. TNLNSL
Mr Trunks decided it was "over there" and didn't bother with the GPS but it was where you put it instead, so we walked right past it first. Subway was easily accessible so went back to park to imbibe. TFTC Mr Coffee
found 5.10pm. And booked in for mexican fix at nearby restaurant.t-car, l-car tftc.

Found at 5:15pm. An impromptu visit to the area after celebrating junior38's birthday. Also accompanied with little38'ers friend - she enjoyed finding her first cache very much! TNLN and SL. Thankyou.
Picked this one up relatively easily on a quiet day. Another nice new place, Thanks again.

Found at 4.50pm. Found with Dad and Sister. Took toy dog, left silver car. Thanks
At first go a muggle was enjoying the spot and looked like he had settled in. Came back an hour later to find the coast clear and the flask still there. Thanks again Mr Coffee.
Quick find after grabbing some fish and chips for lunch and sitting in the park on the conveniently supplies table and chairs. One of those "don't need the GPS" once you get close ones. Took a party popper and left a golf ball. Cheers.
Had a job down here today so left a little early to hopefully knock off a few. 1st of three.

It was an easy walk, even if we didn't have any corn chips.
It was looking like a muggle free zone, until we got to GZ. As Chewin' explained, it was occupied. Lots of amusing sneaking around ensued, resulting in a signed log and us on our way - live to cache another day.
Not wrong about the mozzies though!
Thanks, Robmc.

Oenze didn't tell you the full story. The bloke (drunk) at GZ was very close indeed about 4 metres away in fact. Oenze snuck up and had a rat around without finding the cache so I then went in keeping the object at GZ between me and the drunk and looking to Oenze to tell me if he stired. He didn't, I found the cache and threw it to Oenze who filled in the log and threw it back to me to rehide. The bloke woke up and looked aound as we were leaving but we should have been far enough away not to draw attention to the cache by then.
Thanks for this one and I'm now qualified to work for the CIA.

You wouldn't really know this bit of parkland was here - I parked in the back of the supermarket, and only had a short walk down the steep bit of hill from the parking lot to the cache - which was another quick find .

Found by edmil & maddie. This was our third attempt at this one. The first time the cache had been muggled and the second time there were muggles sitting on the bank fishing so we thought it would be best to leave it for another day and went and had dinner at a local Thai eatery. However today the coast was clear and we had the cache in hand in no time at all. Thanks for the cache.
Nice quick find. I used to catch the school bus from near here too many times.

Found on 30/10/05 @ 0951 AEDT. The 16th of 58 caches for the day with Facitman for the Spring Caching Carnival.
Thankfully only a few mozzies were spotted near this cache, but we had found and logged it before we had time to stop and smell the coffee - it was cold here too

Thanks Sui_001 for the DNF it helps to know if something needs to be checked on a cache.
Yes the Cache has gone, it seems someone needed a thermos for their coffee.
I will try to get this one back up and running ASAP.

Second DNF for the day, I had reasonable idea what I was up against and even though I varied my focus was unable to locate even after consulting clue and logs for assistance.
Took only a short time to find this one. Had to be quick because in typical Melbourne style the sun instantly turned into heavy rain.
Thanks to Mr Coffee and his Clan.

I had just completed “Mr Coffee and The Lost Thermos†and thought I would pick this one before heading home to change into some dry clothes. The GPSr led me straight to the cache, but not before leading me through the biggest puddle I have ever seen!!!! The cache was found quickly, the log signed and the puddle braved once more.

Quick find although there were workers building play equipment not too far away. No mozzies today, thank goodness. Can't remember what i swapped. Thanks Mr coffee
The 10th of 24 finds today in company with barcoder on our assault on the Far East. Had two goes at finding the correct access to this one. My first Melway-inspired guess turned out to be the entrance to the nearby college. Fortunately, barcoder directed me to the proper place, and I had the cache in hand shortly after at 1140. Grabbed the Geocoin. Thanks to the Coffee Clan for the hunt.

Hid the cache then realised I still had the geocoin that I was going to leave in my pocket. Quick trip back to leave it. TN Unfortunatly was to dark for pictures.

this bring's up our 150th cache find. thanks, u sure lose a few thermos flasks. the cache was very wet and the log book is soaked. kevin was fasinated by the rubic snake so he left a large bouncy ball with a man siting in it.the smell of pizza nearly killed us on the way back to the car. now of to 40th birthday nearby after a great day caching.
thanks
thanks
This was a great easy find, but unfortunately very wet. I had left my spare snap lock bags in the car. Sorry Mr C. It would not have been much good anyhow. Everything is soaked. But that is the joy of caching. Expect the unexpected! We just stamped the log book and moved on to the next location.

No Mr.Coffee, this one doesn't need archiving after the recent flooding. It does however need a really good drying out (& a clean), as everything inside is a complete wash.
We managed to sign a very wet log book but TNLN, & returned exactly where found. Interesting Container

Some people may confuse this cache with my fishing trip cache, but they are different as one is salt water and the other fresh water. The cache is not accessible as of 2/2/05 and I will monitor the flood levels over the next couple of days to assess if it needs to be archived.

Walked to this one and several others caches around here. Could use the cache container for keeping your cocoa warm for hours. They also make good underwater cache containers.
Found by Mary & David at 1355. A nice little park. We measured 28mm rain last night, but this place still looked very dry. Took soap, left a Guiness coaster. Our thanks to Mr Coffee. and his Thermos supplier.
So many new caches so close to home so what else could a geocaching team do on a beautiful Sunday morning.
Our 1st of many Mr Coffee's caches for the day, a very appropriate container as well, (just the thing for a nice cup of TEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
An easy find after a short walk, thanks Mr Coffee and team Coffee's.
Took: Bead watch & mini slinky
Left: Daintree soap, plastic puzzle and a "da bugs" spider.

Found at 12.20pm after a much shorter search than the last cache.
As we neared GZ we came across a sad sight. 2 dead mice, side by side - we were very careful of snakes after seeing that.
Searched what we thought was the obvious spot to no avail (reminds us of one of our caches!), went to the next spot and there it was. Very cool cache container!
Took nothing, left stickers.
Thanks Mr Coffee!

Found at 3.00pm. Our first cache for the day after spending all morning taking tree cuttings to the tip. Mum came along for the ride with us today and this was a nice little starter - not too long a walk and not too difficult to find. Nice container Mr. Coffee. Took: key ring, Left: Make up set.

The last cache out this side of town for us today (that made 5, 4 of which were by Mr. Coffee).
G and I were out here on a nice afternoon leaving K and J at home to play on the computer.
With a final dash we made for this cache before heading home which would get us there by about 6:00.
Whether luck was on our side or whether Mr. Coffee is just a really nice guy, we arrived at GZ on the correct side of the blue line and commenced the search.
A few minutes (after some distraction, maybe Mr. Coffee is not so nice) and G found the cache. Obligatory comments here about the container. Wonderful, just wonderful.
Took bubble mix and brushes , left bracelet watch and koala keyring.
Thanks for Mr. Coffee (we really didn't mind thre distraction) for giving us 4 finds today. Much appreciated.

Knew this park very well as for many years it was the site for a community bonfire & fireworks for Guy Fawkes night until drunken teenagers put an end to that.
Found after a very quick search and now appreciate the caches name.

Thanks Mr Coffee & co. Good to see you back in action. Hope to bump into you again soon.

Today was the day that marked our first year anniversary since we took up Geocaching and to mark this occasion, we had hoped to increase our total finds for the first year to 400. We need just one more...
Found at 7:40pm.
Rabbitto's 400th find in one year
The last cache down of four on our quest for 400. After a short walk from Shelby's Cache, we approached the area and searched the most obvious spot. Nope. The second most obvious spot. Yep. We were wondering if it would really be one and were delighted to find that it was . Left a mondo and a bracelet, took kangaroo TB.
Thanks again Coffees from D,H,K,H & A B-A. Your last minute 4 cache save, really came though for us just in the nick of time and gave us that elusive total. With a sense of timing and occasion like that, you should keep an eye out for the next time the 007 job comes available .
