Unaware that the cache was removed, I went there today and looked for it. Not surprisingly I didnt find it!
Took the cache away today to dry it out. Area has been well and truly trampled, so might give the vegetation a chance to bounce back before we replace the cache.
Found on a cold and wet day after a nice coffee at art gallery. Cache wet and grubby inside and to full to add loot.NTNL
This one is obviously for the kids to find!! We followed directions via the encrypted info, but on arrival discovered MANY conifer trees when we turned right at the Deer Enclosure. Our GPS with co-ordinates keyed in, took us to an area immediately. No matter which way we turned, the GPS brought us back to the 'spot' again. We went further afield and flattened Wandering Dew under the branches of overhanging trees, where others had been before us, but to no avail. It certainly was not the type of area that is mentioned when encrypted. After almost scratching under every tree that was "left to a Conifer", we gave up. Pity, coz we had a very interesting TB to leave there.
2nd attempt at this one (don't know how the hell I missed it the 1st time?!). After a quick pat of the animals we let the kids have a play in the park before the rain came down. Out - car, In - batman.
Another easy find once we got the right conifer. The GPS batteries started to die which caused us a bit of strife and sent us to the wrong spot a couple of times but the held on just long enough.

We were enroute to the Tora Walk but made the time to check this cache out.
We did not see much sign of the animals mentioned but a pleasant stroll anyway.
A fairly easy find as the vegetation is showing some ware and tear from the traffic.

Great fun, visiting from Hamilton to the Wairarapa, enjoyed the park and the bridge, and Caleb and Zac found the cach and put the golf ball in and the bouncy ball out.
An excellent way to finish the day. We had one we couldn't find, and one we couldn't go to because of all the mugles about. This was a real treat, the GPS walked us straight to it.
Took the ring and left the spaceman. Thanks very much for a neat wee walk.

We found this after a bit of back and forwards due to the GPS jumping around all over the place - very confusing. After 20 minutes, we decrypted the clue to give us a helping hand. Moments later, the GPS began to work correctly and placed us right on the mark. I can only guess that the large trees at this spot were causing our problems.
Visited with Rob (who found it), Nath, EK, Charlotte and me (Colin). Lovely spot, perfect hot day and lovely stroll through the park (which I barely knew existed). No muggle activity at all in the area - completely deserted. TNLN. Cheers!

Caching our way through NZ we stopped off to grab this one. Located the cache without any difficulties and traded toys. Also had along TB's that we are logging in and out. Great park!! Visiting NZ from Richfield, Utah. Thanks for the fun! Bean Stompers
Spent about 15 minutes looking but no luck - the GPS kept jumping around everywhere, and I started to get very hot and bothered in all of my motorbike gear, and was still a long way from my journey's end so had to call off the search.
A nice easy cache
Had to stop over om my way to Wellington.
I used to spend hours around here as a child.
I left - Count Cache Travel Bug
& 2 large glass marbles for the children
Took - Nothing
I see it is overflowing with treasure
The cache was in the open, so I covered it a bit more to hide it.
Cheers

Have been to this park before but never discovered the swing bridge and the deer! Had to spend half an hour feeding the four legged friends before looking for the cache. Found it without too much difficulty. The boys definitely thought it the best cache yet!! Thanks Spykids.
- TB Travel Tigger (bounce!), Rubber duck, Teletubbies stamp
+ Zebra necklace, glass fish, bouncy balls x 2

Can't claim the first to find (someone beat me by an 1 hour), but we can claim first to log !!
Spent a great day at "Wings over Wairarapa" airshow, and took a detour to do this new cache. The park is great, shame we don't get up from Wellington enough to visit it more.
Easy find, all the clues helped no end.
-Marbles
+Tigger Travel Bug
Thanks, Rolly, Sam and Frances

FTF was Aaliyah our 5 year old grandaughter who enjoys "treasure hunting" and accompanied us on a geocaching expedition today. She was delighted with the cache contents and found it hard to decide what to take.
- Bungy Ball, Red Ring and TB Andy's World Traveller
+ Yellow Squeaky Duck, Toy Fire Engine and Toy Car
Thanks Spy Kids for a special kids cache and for bringing us back to such a loverly park. Celebrated the cache find with a ride on the minature train and an ice cream.
