Logs
It's been a while sc00t. If you ever get around to replacing it you can put it up for review again.
Put all the wpts in the gps before the trip to the big smoke (didnt have much time to read every log for allcaches )went for a walk out to this point didnt find anything back to motel.chek internet arrrrrr!not there.Well worth the walk out there just the same would have never gone there if wasnt cach hunting.. Nice area to stretch the legs
We went over and had a nice walk, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it. Now it seems that other people also had trouble, so that makes us feel a bit better (why can't we ever find simple caches?) Thanks for the walk anyway
It seems this one needs to be disabled until i can get out there and find/replace the cache. Thank you to all those who made the walk and came up empty handed, my apologies.
I spent a good hour here searching and no joy...
I even phoned MindSocket for guidence..
I think this one is swimming with the fishes now...

It seems this cache may need a check. I can't get out there for awhile but i will attempt to ASAP, in the meantime, keep looking
well this one had me beat after the long work from homebush stadium and about an hour searching I gave it away.
No sign of any black and white rock, looked under every other rock with torch and my trusty mirror in hand but came away with out a find.

I could not find it, had a couple of other people with me and still could not find it, any other hints, I am only in town today and tomorrow and I am staying near by.

Found it @ approx. 17:40 with the assistance of Mother scubacrazy
Parked the car in the carpark and set of. Wasn't really prepared for the nature hike that ensued.[:0]
Walking along when the GPS went dead about 300m from the target. DOH! I knew I'd forgotten to do something.[:(!]
Stepped out the remainder and started the search. (Without the trusty GPS to head me in the right direction, turned out to be quite a hunt)[xx(]
Then Mother shouts out, look over there, and sure enough, there it was.[^]
Took yugioh puzzle & T.B. Weevil
Left Stress Ball
Thanks sc00t

After a quick stop for lunch in Top Ryde, Team SMH and Team Mind Socket decided that the weather would hold out long enough for us to drive/stroll across to this one.
I did a little car relocation while the others pressed on, and I met up with them in time to do the last little walk to GZ and log the cache. Interesting area.

A great cache. I loved the spider walk, although I do the big girly spider dance when I run into a web. I took lots of top pics of the spiders and around the area. I had a bit of a search around at GZ, and it wasn’t all that long until I had the cache in my hands.
next time will employ flick man to go in front of me
great spot

oops forgot to log this one found with imgettingannoyed (Muggle Friend havabreak... thats me)
2nd time kinda lucky. muggle friend havabreak spotted this one under the guidance of the torch. found it after 11pm this evening and i have to say its a pretty good night cache.
but firstly on approach to the cache the mangroves were extremly stinky and when at GZ we were mobbed my mozzies. and not just normal ones. some bloody giant ones that looked like they were on steroids.
TNLN
P.S Thanks Sc00t for helping me bring up find number 50

Cache definitely rates a 5 star degree of difficulty for those with a strong fear of spiders such as myself. It was a 1.5km walk of hell - make that a very quick walk. I kept telling myself it was lucky I was short - all the cyclists would keep the paths clear. Still, I must have been a strange sight hurrying along the path with my head down and shoulders slightly hunched in case any of the nasty buggers decided to drop from their perches down the back of my t-shirt! Hugh Grant's opening lines in "Four Weddings and a Funeral" were well used by the time I reached GZ. Had to wait for a mum and 2 kids to finish their picnic in the lookout before I could retrieve the cache. Luckily that wasn't too hard, but as others have mentioned - few spiders but 1000s of mosquitos. Took compass and left yellow toy with a very hurried message. Just as bad on the way back!!
Second of six caches for the night. I couldn't help but have a chuckle at Rabbitto's tribulations with the spiders. Half way to the cache I hadn't seen a single one, but after the kink in the path all that changed. Sydney must be the spider capital of Australia, and this path must be the spider capital of Sydney! At one stage I counted 76 of them in a cluster of webs above the path--well above my head, fortunately.
There was a dearth of spiders at GZ, but a surfiet of mosquitoes to make up for it! What the heck are all those spiders eating, anyway? I found trhe cache in the first place I looked, made the exchange, signed the log, and got out of there before the mozzies ate me alive. Thanks for the enjoyable walk, and for the cache.

Had to duck into the Scout Headquaters nearby and couldn't resist a cache to complete the afternoon. Don't get me wrong I love spiders but the walk into GZ gave even me the creeps. Please becareful of the delicate ecosystem near the cache site. Nothing needs to be harmed in finding this cache. TNLN. Thanks ScOOt
Found with the aid of Miss Leah on an afternoon jaunt whilst we were in the area. We parked the car and set off on foot on what rapidly turned into Spider Street. I've never seen these spiders in such concentrations before. The top of one tree in particular was inhabited by well over a hundred spiders and contained enough web to entrap a low flying cessna.
We continued on down Arachnophobia Alley, following the arrow on the GPS, and quickly found GZ. Thankfully, GZ was free of out little eight legged friends. The cache revealed itself without too much drama at all. Future finders should take note, it is possible to find this cache without stepping on or flatening any of the nearby mangrove areas. Please take care not to disturb this sensitive area. Took the 3D games cd, and left a compass karabiner. Thanks Sc00t. Nice area for a cache.

The afternoon was coming to an end when we reached this cache. We came by to pick up the Supreme Commander TB so we could complete the Alien Outpost series of caches, he and scooter TB were getting along great so we took him too. Found the cache easily after reading the clue, we were in luck and there were no muggles around, so we went in for the cache. Whilst Mr McPodie was answering the call of nature and Mrs McPodie was logging the find, we were busted by muggles who decided to use this particular area for their late afternoon stretches. The mozzies took advantage of our unfortunate situation and decided to eat us alive. We covered the situation by talking loudly about the biology of mangroves, their lifecycle, age, and anything else we could come up with. After 15 minutes they finally left and we were out of there ASAP.

Came out to check the cache and drop off some TB's. All is fine, waited for about 20 minutes before the muggles went away....even then it was a close call.
There are plenty of spiders along the way but i didn't notice any by the cache.
Make sure you go up the tower for a look too....helps with the clue

How easy was this one. No muggles, No Bugger (see log for that cache) no problems. Wandered in from the west, found the tower (couldn't see Ikea) and put the GPS down. Oh, there it is. The unfortunate thing was the mozzies. I must have left them about 3 litres of blood. I am now anemic. Still its always good to get a find. TNLN.
After waiting for about 20 minutes for the muggles to disappear, we managed to jump in and place The Supreme Commander...good luck to all in their quest for the Alien Outpost http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=f65c2ae6-9b09-45df-adf4-58034017e821
Didn't find at 8:30pm but didn't really get a chance for a good search. I was only in Sydney overnight so I was desperately trying to log our first NSW cache but a guy from work wanted to go for a quick drink which severely cut into my caching time. I first went to "Bugger Reloaded" being the closest to my hotel, but as my light was running out and it was a bit of a haystack at WP1, I decided to walk the 1.5km north to here.
I had forgotten to pack a torch and the light was fading fast as I approached GZ so I kept a fairly brisk pace.
Then at about 700m to go along the path I saw them - SPIDERS . First a couple, then dozens then hundreds and hundreds. Nasty looking ones with webs strung right across the path just a couple of feet above where I was walking. Now, I am normally ok when we find the odd one around the house but this was really like being alone on the set of Arachnaphobia. I rang "H" back in Melbourne at this point and gave her a blow by blow as I neared GZ. My description, I believe, was "Bodies as big as a "Fantale" with legs that could wrap around a coconut - Oh my goodness, there's one even bigger etc." By the time I reached GZ the light was all but gone and I needed the decrypt straight away. Oh great. Alone in the dark, spiders everywhere and it's somewhere in there. Even with all that, I ventured in. First one step, then two. Maybe they all sit up high at this time of night? Another couple of steps. Nothing. A little more confident now, I thought I was ok. I took a couple more brave steps and ducked under a low branch pushing my face straight into a large web. I dived out the way I came, completely falling over a mangrove root on the way out which didn't hinder my exit at all. I grabbed a very large stick and ventured back in clearing the way as I stepped. Once in I realised that when it starts to get dark in Sydney, it gets dark quickly and my search was now futile. My walk back to the hotel was along very, very wide roads.
Next time, but in good daylight. Waaaaaaay good daylight.
As a happy ending though, I did find "Bay to Bay" the next morning .

I have removed the Dogs allowed bit - I've seen people walking their dogs in the park so it was an assumption.

Not sure about the dog-friendly attribute on this cache as there is a big "No Dogs" sign on the path which approaches from the West.
The area was fairly muggle-free today so everything went smoothly.

This is one of those caches that people from overseas that hear about all our nasty spiders need to do.
When you walking to the cache look up there are hundreds of the buggers. Small ones, big ones and really, really BIG ones that look like they may fall down on you at any moment.
Not many birds today just some pelicans and the usual assortment of waterfowl but there where a couple of spunks going for a run.

It was HOT today! 45 degrees C. So hot that my brain must have been fried. I couldn't find it and the clue made no sense. I looked all around the tower in the bushes and along the edge of the mangroves. Finally a call to Webguy revealed the problem - I was looking at the clue for Bay to Bay!
That resolved, the cache turned up almost immediately. TNLN. Surfer Girl Kelly is moving on to other pastures. Thanks Sc00t.

Found it as the sun was setting.
Awesome collection of goods! PLayed with the toys for a while. Left a C130 Hercules lapel pin. For some reason it only has 2 engines.

After a 30 second+ look early this morning I came back at lunch in the heat to do this one.
This time I found it easily, had done the swaps, was just about to start logging when I muggle lookout told me more muggles were coming. Damn it, I put the cache back, minus logbook, came out of hiding and sat in the sun doing the log book stuff.
These muggles had settled in for a while, so we walked away for 5 minutes and admired the, birds, the wrecks and the hot sweaty young ladies.
We walked back and all was well, I slipped the log book back into the cache and we were back off towards the car and shelter from the heat of the day.
Dropped off a surfie chick who was no longer putting out.
