Knowing we had plans later, my son and I got out early and came up the mountain for a drive. There was 3 or so other caches we hadn't done nearby, but why do one of those when there are archived ones to look for. It was a bit of a walk from the main car park, as the gate to this section was shut. It was all downhill (so all up hill when we go back, tired) so made for easy walking, and sometimes running, just for fun. Though I had to hold Juniors hand when he runs, as he tripped 2 times within a minute, when I wasn't. There are some very nice views near GZ, and I could imagine popping the question here would have a very high success rate (one friend of mine was proposed to somewhere on this mountain, so I assume here, and she said yes, which means 100% success). After admiring the views we looked for the cache. We eventually found it after using the hint, But I'm not sure how accurate the coordinates are. Didn't use the ones provided by the recent "finder" that replaced the cache. But the cache was in excellent condition, Better then a lot of the active ones around. Signed the log and put back. Then headed back to the car with a very grumpy boy.
Thanks for the great views and fun walk, we'll need to bring some cardboard next time for some fun!

Found this one after i had tried to find this a few times and just remembered that it had been replaced and so i went back and tried again and this time bingo the cache was found and log signed.
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Enjoy the caching at night time, but we did pass a couple of muggles, even at that hour (they soon left)!
Thanks to Team Senz on keeping a significant cache going. Love these D2/T2 caches
Think I left a plastic bag, and a pen there.

0210 GAFF1 Finding this cache brought back a bit of personal history, as I had suggested that we (with the then Mrs C) go and find this cache on the way back from some 21st anniversary celebrations in Sydney. It took another year before I realised why she wasn't keen to come on up for this one
That seems another life away now. At that stage I would have some 300 caches I think, so with a 2 to 3 year hiatus largely from caching (with a few exceptions) I felt it was time to come and get this one.
I think that I walked up this particular ridge some 30 years ago, but not too sure now.
Soon found the cache - dry and intact. GOOD coordinates Team Senz. Don't think I could leave a Correct Site Marker in there tho, due to size of container; but did leave a ziploc bag.
Another for the night caching thesis book mark.
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, Beagle Bixby, B 2 B ingot, Iconic Bridges, Just Monkeying Around Oz, Little Moo, PAP, Play Well, Slugging Around the World!, Trackabulldog, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, and trackable shirt.
TFTC Bronze, just needs the cache Enabled again!

We've been waiting for a while for this cache to be replaced. We were 4WDing in the area and decided to take a quick walk to this one as TeamSenz had replaced it. There were plenty of muggles around in the picnic areas as it was Easter monday but we had the lookout to ourselves for a quick find. TFTC

Today we were getting the caches in the area, and as this one has been out of action for some time, with CO unresponsive, and we notice previous cachers have replaced this cache before.
We decided to take a replacement cache with us to replace it so other cachers can enjoy this great spot.
We have supplied Coordinates for the cache that we took when replacing it. the hint seemed to match this locations (under the 2 boulders) near the lookout.
Hope CO doesn't mind if we keep this cache going.
We replaced it with a Black Plastic container.

This cache needs replacing. I will endeavor to replace it in the next couple of weekends. Apologies for those teams who may have been put out by its theft.

Spent a long time looking for this one but only found a black plastic syringe kit. Removed this to dispose of properly. Co-ords are well out as they had me quite close to the edge. Checked within a 15m radius but found nothing but pleanty of possible hidey holes. Will need checking by CO.
Looked every likely spot and then used the clue and looked some more. No luck I'm afraid.
Searched high & low but no luck today, although there were plenty of "possibles" sighted.
As it was such a nice day we did a nice long bush walk anyway, so the trip wasn't wasted.
Thanks for the view!

I havn't been up here for quite a long time and this cache is close to where I went sliding off the cliff when I was a kid lucky I didn't hurtmyself too badly.
Not many people about but plenty of mozzies

Reperio at 1345. After stopping by 'Hunter Valley Vista', I followed the cliff walk around to GZ to another wonderful vista. The GPS had me a good 10m away from where I eventually found the cache, which didn't seem to match the description, but it was found nonetheless. A wonderful spot to tie the knot for sure.

Just a short stroll from a nearby cache and we were greeted by some lovely views and an assortment of muggles attached to ropes jumping off a cliff.
After ascertaining that the cache was missing we completed some cache maintenance and continued on our way.
Cheers.

A joint attack with Team Webguy & Wingnut. This one was obviously missing and after leaving a phone message with the CO, it was decided to replace the cache in the only obvious spot that fitted the clue, even though we thought the co-ords were slightly out.
There were several muggles abseiling off the nearby drop-off using the railings and we spotted a bunch of flowers nearby where apparently someone last week decided to you know what - poor bugger.
A great spot though and super views. Cheers,

After reading the logs about all the no finds, I tried to get the CO on the phone but was not able to I wacked together a replacement cache just in case.
We arrived and had a pretty good look around, the clue only seems to point to one spot really. So, hoping the CO did not mind us putting a replacement out, we left a new cache behind.
These are the co-ords I recorded at the time...

Another great day for a wood fired BBQ and picnic, the goekids found this again, and we dropped off the reindeer geo coin. Picked up the okinawa geocoin in its place.
Could not find a cache at the coordinates, should have read the logs first, looks like it is gone.
Took Ben and Nic out for their first geo-caching experience up the mount. Didn't find it. Definatly not where it was last time. She's goooone!
We were up here with the scouts and and we had a look around the area and i'll confirm it's not in it's original hide.
Looks like it definately gone missing.

Well I didn't. No luck like others before me. Maybe a check by the owner may be required. Thanks anyway. Really nice area.
Well: We spent a lot of time looking for thiis one. But alas we 3 couldn't find it . Yes it must be well hidden!
Walked to this location from Hunter Valley Vista, but we were temporarily detained by a leech attack! The iPhone sent us all over the place, but after searching a few possible hiding places we gave up. After 2 previous DNFs we figured it may have been muggled so we didn't want to waste too much time looking. We will keep our eyes out for a find and come back and look again if it's still there.
Was a really nice spot here. In our search I stumbled upon a memorial plaque hidden in the bush. This must be a special place for a lot of people.
Unfortunately we didn't find the cache despite finding plenty of hiding holes.

Had a good look round for this one but no success. Read through the posts and thought we knew where it should of been but it wasnt!!
The whole families first real find, was a little diificult at first and were about to give up because of he rain when something unusual was spotted.

Found this while enjoying the HAVOC event. What a view. I can see why it was chosen for the celebration. Our co-ords took us down a bit but we widened our search and came up with the goods. Found with Smurfyguy and Geotooter. Thanks for bringing us here.

This is a great spot for a picnic - most of the thousand muggles 200m up the road, away can't walk more than 20m from their car - therefore they miss out on this spectacular place!! MAybe that is not such a bad thing!!

Final cache of the day on my caching trip with The Wandering Wilkos. Nice view. TFTC.
We contemplated driving directly from Hunter Valley Vista to this one but the track was getting just too narrow to continue, so after about five minutes getting the 4x4 turned around we came via bitumen and I was glad to see to continue any further than we did, would have been impossible. Nice quick find although I think there may have been a little cache creep as it really didn't match clue

meeting place for a 4wd trip. I took my dad and dad's mate shane to find it. Shane found it and the smile on his face was priceless. thanks guys great find. beautiful view.
We decided to give the caches around Sugerloaf a go today as i had purchased a new GPS yesterday. I found 50 without a GPS and it was time to get one. We filled up the camelbacks and hoped in the car. The GPS took a little getting used to and we ended up going all around the mountian. We finally got it right and found two other caches before we found this. The log is full and needs replacing. I think you might like to cover the cache a little better as my brother found it straight away. TFTC
Very pleasant spot to say the vows indeed. Having walked there from the nearby Vista cache I was thinking it would have been an interesting track in a wedding dress, but of course once at GZ spotted the nice way in. Had to drive up here today to look at a wireless link back towards Kurri, so while on top of the hill why not find a couple of caches. TNLNSL, thanks Bronze.
Angus found cache very quickly even though Dakota was throwing up some funny advice. Excellent view of the landscape west towards Broke - Mount View Range. Tried to work out what the tower was to the north-east of Cessnock Airport. Took elephant, left pencil and bubbles.
A bit of a walk in a wedding dress now that gates are all shut , but we now know why The Bronze and his Bride chose this spot.

Knowing this was where a wedding was held we were not expecting to park our car near a run down toilet block with a burnt out car body beside it. After we parked, we walked down the track and saw the wonderful view and knew we were on the right track. After searching where the listed co-ordinates were, we were a little confused as we were very close to the edge of the cliff even though it said we didn't need to go near the edge. It seems we are not the only ones to find the co-ordinates are not quite accurate - but we eventually has the cache in hand. Took the Travel Bug, signed log. TFTC
Found this one whilst out geocaching with all the family, The Wobblys and The-Don.
Did the Bushrangers cave then headed up to Sugarloaf for a bbq then a bit of walking to find the three caches up the top of Sugarloaf.

Like everybody else, my GPSr was encouraging me to commit suicide by going over the edge.
I resisted, and eventually found the cache. It took a while though, and I suspect that the hiding place may have moved because it doesn't seem to match the hint (though it is very nearby).
Took the Aladdin TB (it wants to go to exotic places - you can't get more exotic than Canberra...), and Twin Peaks (UT) Green Jeep TB.
Thanks, Bronze

Would be a terrible shame if you where to turn up to look for the cache and find the nearby table occupied.
Yep - it's there but it's well hidden. And for good reason to.
You will have to look hard. It's not buried but if you were near the edge then you were in the wrong spot buy about 6 or 7 meters. There is no need to go anywhere near the fence.
Just adding 13 Travel Bugs from the Bathurst 24 hour event. Please ensure the cache is sealed well and hidden well to ensure the safety of these bugs. Feel free to take a few and move them on quickly.
To make room this cache has had it swaps removed and stored in the Hunter Travel Bug Hotel on the New England Highway.
