Time for a cache audit.
Several (MMM) caches have ended up in a degree of disarray, many of which are proving difficult to come up with suitable replacements, and some of which are just prone to muggling or other forms of demise.
So, time for this one to end up archived.
Thanks to all who've logged it, and sorry to all those who missed the chance.

As Muzza indicated, this one's very very very gone at the moment.
Replacing soon I hope.

16:50 Not found!! Tried for a while and thoroughly searched the object in question. It's definitely not there!!!.
I called by today with Lisi from Sheep E S (from Austria). Not only has the cache gone, but the Postal Distribution Box has gone also. The concrete foundation block is all that is left.
This one's not here. My hand even went up the holes. 100% sure unless it's really devious.
Nobody around so were able to have a good hunt but had no luck. Did a couple of others later in the day under mail boxes so wonder if this one might be missing?
Found 10.15am
Not too many people around today so this was easier than I expected.

#15 of 101 finds for the day in the company of Dak's Emu Mob.
This cache was to turn out to be our introduction to a popular method of hide and the necessity of constantly retying shoelaces.
Thanks to Partic for the cache.

Having been muggled a bit earlier tonight, we thought we might have one more try before heading home. Thankfully the coast was clear and we were able to nab, log and replace the cache at 21:45 without getting out of the warm, aromatic Geocam.
TNLNSL. Thanks Partic.

EuDes and I made a "first pass" at this cache bt were thwarted by some people sitting very close to the GZ. We headed off to do another nearby cache and then returned for a very easy drive by - I didn't even have to get out of the car! Thanks Partic.
Didn't have a problem getting to this cache - parked in the right spot and had to check the front tyre. TFTC
Pretended to tie my shoes to capture this one. had to wait to get it back with muggles at the local shop all about. Thanks
I too recall guy fawkes day and the release of skyrockets and penny bangers. Alas we live in a more protected society now. Huge muggle factor here but retrieved ok
Another interesting plaque. I well remember sky rockets and ferris wheels and penny bungers! Cache easy to retrieve with a convenient truck. Thanks Partic.
Found at 09:30. Love these little plaques & stories. This one reminded me of fond times blowing up things with four-penny bungers & almost burning the next door neighbours house down with mis-aimed rockets. Thanks for the memory. TFTC TNLNSL.
Not too many muggles around this afternoon when this one was located (around 17:00). Having previously found "Liberating" on a previous visit to Melbourne, this one was not too hard to find.
Well it did take a few visits, given all the possibilities around for muggle activity - even on a wintry Satday night. But it's done! Thanks, Partic!
Found by edmil & maddie. This was a nice easy find, car park was easy there was only one person in the vicinity. The cache was in hand and signed in no time. This was our second in the MMM series , one we are finding by informative and enjoyable thanks for the series.
Resorted to the old shoelace routine, the two people sitting here didn't seem to notice I wasn't wearing any!

These shops are called deli’s in SA. Collected the cache, 2l of milk and a loaf of stale bread.
Found at 11:32am Accompanied by Chewinprickles.
4th out of 13 finds for the day.
There was a hotted up shiny convertable parked just beside GZ and and whent over to admire it then did the old shoelace trick and had the cache in hand, the next thing was how do I get it back ? I went to the shop close by and bought some refreshments for both of us and when we finished put the rubish away in the nearby bin and a quick manouver had the cache back in its place. Signed Log.
Thanks Partic...

Our cache notes for this one were somewhat dated - and we were a bit worried about the retrieval difficulty reported by other teams. But it was too easy - if I had parked just 10cm closer to the kerb side, Al could have done this one without getting out of the car - a real drive-by!
Can recommend the chockie and nut biscuits available in adjacent cafe!
Thanx Partic!

A very whimsical memory - of all the things which we seemed to be legally able to do during my childhood but which our kids are denied, it's Nov 5 (Guy Fawkes night) which I think I miss most . Video/computer games and mobile phones just don't have the same bang! The cache was a quick find - noone using the tables at this time of day plus my motorcycle courier disguise did the trick .
Thanks Partic

Got lucky with the positioning of parked vehicles and the lack of customers outside. The quick reach didn't seem to grab anyones attention. Thanks Partic.
Watcha and I found this one, tho Watcha bravely got the damn thing. Yes it's quite tricky what with the traffic and all. Luckily for us a car was conveniently parked in just the right place as to make its retrieval a bit easier! Thanks for a fun cache!

Found by Roma and Max.
We now know the reason for the difficulty rating. It was probably just as busy here at this time of the evening as during the day
More thanks Partic,

OMG. This was my nemesis for the night. Finding the spot was easy. retrieving the cache unnoticed was a bugger. I emptied my car of rubbish the first time but I had to abandon my first attempt due to pizza boys.
Much later that night I came back, all shops closed, but skaters hanging around out the front without looking like disappearing. Parked around the corner and waited a bit and had the place to myself at around 11.30pm -Finally!
Got the cache and signed with ease. I like these ones!

And now to my 3rd for the morning. This one cost me a cuppa and a paper but the coffee was good so it was worth it. Spyed this one out probably a month ago too and today it's in the bag.
Thanks again Partic

Not too hard to get this one late on a public holiday with a few dark clouds overhead. I did not leave the car as the little helper went collecting.
Found at 6:44AM, the 4th cache on our all day caching adventure.
This was an easy find for B whilst the nearby muggle prepared for his morning business.

I remember buying fireworks at the local milkbar in wesburn as a kid. I must be geting old.

Found at 11.50am in front of a muggle who was having a cup of coffee and reading the paper. We skillfully retrieved the cache without him even looking up (we think!) We are now playing a game between us declaring which leg it will be hidden under. So far haven't had too many right.
Pizza muggles necessitated beverage purchase and shoelace episode to cover our tracks, nonetheless the find was quicker than writing this log!
Found at 6:45am. Second cache of 56 on our quest to claim the Most Cache Finds in Australia in One Day.
Still dark and not much traffic, meaning we only had to wait a short while before retreiving the cache from what would become a very familiar hiding place for us over the next few hours.
Thanks Partic from D,S & H B-A.
Time Elapsed since First Cache - 0 Hours 5 Minutes.

Rounding the corner, seeing no sword grass, I knew where the cache must be. Finding the plaque was another thing. When found the story was one I could relate too. Getting good at palming film canisters from mail boxes.
TNLNSL. Thanks, Robmc.

This was a little difficult to retrieve as others have noted it is a very busy little place
We didn’t want to go home without it though as this cache is very close to our hearts,
Though these days others pay us to let them off
Thanks Partic for another great MMM

talk about smash and grab
We pulled up in lantrix's car. People everywhere.
Didnt bother to look at the thing on the wall as it was dark and we had a car full of kids. quickly noted possible cache locations and retrieved the cache in double quick time.
Then we took off around the corner (in the car) to fill in the log.
5 minutes later we struck again. The local pizza boys where having a convention about 5m from the cache and a lone girl was about 1m from it.
I posted a fake letter and dropped something strategicalyl to reposition the cache.
phew mission accomplished.
I will be borrowing this idea! Thanks guys!

[We were on a night cache hunt. Ended up here at about 21:30.
Found the cache, but it was difficult to return due to the small crowd standing nearby, and a coffee drinker nearby.] Tried to pretend post a letter... [and got it back in place.
Cache hunt done with andrew&leesa.
Good fun.]

Mr.Coffee stopped off for coffee on this cache. with car outside GZ and coffee clan at table on other side we had this micro in hand very quickly.
Thanks Partic for the cache, the coffee was good quality and needed.
should have called this cache "Partic's Coffee Break Cache"

Don’t need a plaque to tell us about bunger night we lived it for real, but up Sydney way.
Bring back the penny bunger.
Bring back the penny bunger.
Found by Mary & David at 1640. Heavy rain kept the locals away, and we were able to park very close, so an easy retrieval. The trees here are superb too. Our thanks to Partic for a fascinating afternoon.
This was the 3rd of 20 caches today. This one was a nice easy find. I just had to make sure that the people in the laundromat were not watching. I signed the log at 0935. Thanks for the cache.

Ahhh, the continued benefits of having a 4 year old along caching. While I was snapping a picture of the marker, Gabrielle was heading over to the correct location and took a look. No-one at all paid any attention to a 4 year old doing strange things so we had the cache in no time.
A few moments later (between coffee breakers) we replaced the cache and were on our way.
Parking almost in front of the cache made for an easy snatch and run.
Took nothing , left nothing.
Thanks Partic.

I tried earlier in the day (around 12:45) but thee were too many muggles sitting nearby, especially this old guy who was facing exactly in the direction of the cache. I almost wondered it was "partic".
Came back later or an easy find. I did see another couple roll up in a 4WD and look all over the ground near the cache but they did not look in the "correct" place and left with nothing. I suspect they were not cachers.

I called by around 10:15 pm but there were some patrons sitting outside at the tables nearby, so I left it until the end of my caching night. I returned at 12:15 am and was able to retrieve the cache easily. Thanks again, Partic, for a nice easy nearby cache, again with some history.
