#98 This one was very close to a friend I was visiting. Didn't have a pen so just took a photo to prove I was there. One of the neighbours may be getting freaked out by all the activity outside their door - kept checking up on me through a gap in the curtains!
Nice find, although last visitor obviously had very long arms! Log book now evenfuller!!

Thanks again for more interesting local history. Nice easy find after miising a couple of similar hides earlier in the day. TNLN. Thanks
Much easier to find this one as there were nowhere near as many people around. Log book is almost full here too.
Found 11.00am
Found GZ with ease but getting to search was harder with a guy putting up a sign nearby taking more than a passing interest in what I was trying to do. Had to wait for him to start work before finding the cache.

My last MMM for this visit to Melbourne. A quick find, being similar to another in the series i'd seen recently. Just had to dodge some muggles that were loading their car from a nearby house.
Thanks for the memories Partic, and the urban caches, I'll have to do more of the series next time im down this way.
Cheers, Murf.

Office closed this evening. No trouble at all. Found it in the second place I felt. Which was of course the last place I checked.
Area was deserted today, made it much easier to locate the cache. Although I looked in the wrong spot for ages.
TNLNSLm, Thanks - I hope I get a chance to do a couple more MMM's

Found at 20:15 on an evening's caching expedition with EuDes. I used to live near here and remember the gym - it's quite a shame that such a valuable local institution was replaced with (surprise, surprise) some apartments.
Thanks Partic.

Headed up here from the Gasworks, glad it is flat terrain (paths really) Easy find before sitting in the gutter to do the paperwork. TFTC
Team members included Keymaster, Diceman and Queen of hearts. Nice easy find after a hot day out geocaching.

Ok, so we were defeated by this one. Found the plaque and mailboxes. Seems like there were plenty of clues as to exactly where it was, but it wasn't there. But it was found on the 28th? We must need to think again!
I had a nice lunch in the nearby Albert area and wandered over to pick this one up in the afternoon. Very quiet and easy to find. Thanks
Had to wait for the locals to leave the phone box! Hello! People trying to geocache unnoticed here!

Ahh, the streets around here aren't the way I remember them - I went up and down this whole section of road 3 times because I overshot the cache location (on a motorbike, you have to stop to check the GPSr, unless you have a mount on the handlebars) and couldn't simply do a U-turn . Not to worry, when I eventually managed to stop at the right spot, the cache was a quick find in a traditional spot .
Thanks Partic

Round one. The location in question was in clear view of the receptionist in the nearby office. Left jab. She and her guest were not giving me a chance to properly check for the cache. Right cross. Eventually we failed and left the ring on a TKO.
Found at 3.10PM on A trip to South Melbourne no:1.
5th out of 9 found.
After completing the previous cache I was hungry so before I came here I remembered a while back during work I found a nice take away in St Kilda road, so I went back there to grab a bite.
This cache was yet again an interesting read and an easy find. I knew where to look after completing other MMM series a while back.

Found this cache while we were waiting for my brother's wedding across the road. Nice easy find, and fortunately there was no-one around otherwise it would have looked a little suspect searching around dressed like we were!

Finally! After arriving in Australia failing on my first three attempts, I got this. No problem. The magnets are a good idea. Very nice cache. Eventhough I have had more failures than successes, I am really enjoying all these memory plaques.
First find of my morning caching while in Melb for the weekend.

The streets between this and neighbouring caches were really interesting. We walked past several spots that we will have to reseach for more history, and of course were lead from marker to marker by Partic!
Found by Maya and Ray at 11:10AM on 13th of June. Fortunately this was a more secluded cache than the last one we sussed out, which we'll leave till dark. Thanks for the challenge. The Nomads.

Had to come back twice to claim this one. the first attempt was foiled by the muggle who lives in front of the cache standing on her balcony smoking. second attempt and a nice easy find with no muggles about.
11:06 My first mail distribution box of the day (I had rented a bike to explore Melbourne harbour). Quick and easy grab.
Got it this time first go. I probably cant realy claim this one after my earlier failure but nevertheless I shall. Thanks to Partic both for the cach and the help.
By the way I think I wrote the wrong date on the sheet, but nevermind, it was today.

After visiting the south melbourne markets, thought that it was a good time to get a few caches done whilst on foot.
Since it was only a short walk from the markets this was the first target of what ended up being six for the day.

Checked the cache today, and Chewinprickles hadn't groped high enough.
When replacing the cache, please put it in the leg area of the box, as any higher causes confusion, and can lead to the cache being spotted and possibly removed by an inquisitive postal worker. I'd hate for one to become disgruntled at me

Seems I must be the bearer of bad news again. Found the marker no problem and had a good look, but I'm pretty sure the cach is gone. I can be guilty of looking in the wardrobe and not seeing my favorite shirt which is right there, but I don't think that scenario applies this time.
Found at 19:15 a few blocks away from work

Checked the cache this morning, and it had indeed gone missing. Have replaced cache with new film cannister, with better positioned magnets this time. First to re-find up for grabs now
Arrived at GZ about 5:40pm to find a muggle in the adjacent phone box who seemed to be pushing a lot of buttons but not actually listening to the phone. Internet banking maybe? Or a local nutter.
She eventually left and I had a good search around the mail collection box but couldn't see or feel anything. Either it has gone or it needs much more nimble fingers than mine to get into the holes.

First cache for the day in what turned out to be a busy and wet day of caching for us.
Found by Mary & David at 1500. A surprisingly busy area. Enjoyed the architecture and the cottage gardens. Our thanks to Partic once again.
Our second cache for the night and another easy find with no-one around. Read the marker, found the cache, signed the log and went to buy some tea before moving on to no3.
thanks again Partic

This was the 12th of 20 caches today. It was deja vu all over again! I was getting used to surreptitiously retrieving caches from these mail distribution boxes by now. However, just as I was making my move, Postman Pat turned up again to grab another bag of mail. This was the second time today! I managed not to look suspicious this time, and I grabbed the cache and signed the log at 1215. Thanks for the cache.

Woohoo. Nothing better than driving up, parking so the car door smacks the waypoint and then fiding the cache a few seconds later.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Again thanks to Partic for a very informative series.

I think the cache has been muggled. I looked everywhere I expected this one to be based on other similar caches and it definately seems to be missing.
Hmmm. I just noticed Biggles Bear log entry. I wonder if another cacher was holding the cache when I went looking. Maybe it is back. I will have to go and check again at a later date.

Found nice and easy. The whole area was quiet - hardly even a car passed by. Thanks for another almost local cache with a bit of history thrown in for good measure.
