The site where the cache should have been in has been cleared of all grass but a large digger. Suggest cache has gone.
6729 Even with a great set of co-ords, it still took a wee while to uncover… thanks for a tricky hide.
Nice early morning walk around the airport walkway. Soon found this cache. SL TFTC
Seemed like such a needle in the haystack search we were ready to give up before we started, but somehow we stumbled across it quickly.

Contents slightly wet after recent wet weather. Dried in sun for as long as time permitted before moving on around the airport. Awesome end of year walk TFTC.
Last one for me on the airport walk. Will have to find somewhere new to walk now. First with my new garmin asus a10-the greatest geocaching gadget ever that also makes phone calls
#1741 (9/16 on day 6 in Nelson). Was pleased Troodles spotted it as it wasn't an area I was looking forward to searching. TFTC.
I was standing in the long grass, contemplating decoding the hint when my walking pole hit something - I was all but standing on the cache! First cache of our walk around the airport.
TFTC.

Been looking at this area for awhile thinking must do this area. Well today had completed our challange and had some spare time and decided it was a good chance to do this walk.
Wandered around and enjoyed watching the aircraft from so close and before we kneew it we had covered the distance to get the cache. TFTC

As it was a warm but overcast we decided it was a good time to do the whole circuit and clean up some caches - great choice as its a neat walkway and love plane watching thanks for helping to bring us to this track signed log thanks so much for the cache Stretch0 left a TB
Neat wee cache, I have walked past here hundreds of times and didnt know this was here. GTot spotted by a plane ful of muggles- but don't think they suspected a thing.
A great cache for a gcer at my level.

Nice walk, muggles thought my husband must of gone for a pee as I was left on the track with two prams! TFTC
Replaced the container and plastic zip bages. Ready to go. Looks like cache had been the victim of yet another "ski pole find".
Seems most people find this by standing on it. Managed to see the XXXX XXXXX first. Lid is cracked so put it upside down to help keep the water out.
1st visitor this year!!! where is everyone? this cache is only a 30 minute walk, maybe a couple of dnf. Cool place for a cache, strange choice for the hide though but cheers.
Made hard work of the find- cache area getting a wee bit overgrown. The grass was taller than me! Good one, thanks.
This must be one of a very select few caches where the access footpath requires users to give way to planes! After waiting for the Christchurch flight to arrive, we got to the cache site and despite much fossicking in the fennel, failed to find anything before we were summoned to meet up with the rest of the party. Never mind - it's still a great spot!

got dragged out for a walk in the sun by fun and man of funman0561.very pleasant once they slowed down. thanks
Only about 500 Mts from Up Yonder, Again.( if you go across the mud flats ) which we didn't!!!
So 1.2 KMS the long way but we were out for a walk anyway.
Found ok and left an Alien.
Thanks Alien Kiwis.

This was the last cache for the morning - we regularly walk this area, but have never been this far off the beaten track before; a different view of the adjacent peninsular. Nice hide.
Coords were so accurate that I actually stood on it before we saw it !! No damage luckily !! TFTC
We started with this cache for the "Yonder"-Trio-Caches (GCMJW5,GCYXWQ) at 11:00 am. Got no Problem to find. TFTC
Found this no problem - good place for a cache. took Jandel and left gel pen - getting very dark now and a long way back to the car. TFTC
I have completed this walk so many times in my pre-geocaching days without ever venturing away from the perimeter track. So it was good this find pushed me to venture a little off my usual course. An easy find - coordinates spot on and flattened grass a give away too! Left a 'jandel' key ring and signed log book. TFTC.
Finally decided to do the perimeter walk. Long grasses but found with no too much difficulty, TFTC, Biggles.
Stopped in on a walk around the airport. Nice evening! Cache area very overgrown - waist high grass
Coordinates spot on, grass was quite long so I couldn't see much, but I used my sniffer and spotted the pine cones TFTC
This one took some searching, but after getting soaked from all the 'spit' bugs in the grass, I stumbled upon the cache.

The first of the three we plotted on our GPS for a quick family walk. Youngest Navfam was onto it quickly. Great day to be out and about after the storm that hit Nelson this week. A couple of huge conifer trees down at the start of the walk. TFTC, NAVFAM
Waiting for a plane to arrive always appears to take a long time, so off we go into Blue Yonder. Never knew this walkway existed this close to an airport. Great cache and time to spare, so off to another Yonder, Again. Found a lovely ducky which was in desperate need of a blow wave (fairly damp) and it has nestled in on the couch. Thanks for this cache.

Great cache I did this today rather than when I went on the last perimeter walk because last time it was on dark... Today it was just starting to rain as I left the cache! Godo walk though
A nice wee stroll in the rain.
The box has a broken lid and the log book is wet.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer

Out for an evening walk. I'm sure muggles were a bit surprised when we headed off the walkway. Thankfully the cache site is out of sight as there were plenty of muggles on the track. TFTC left some pegs.
Easy find using new GPS.Used old one as well to check the difference between them. They were both smack on
Nice day for a walk, cache lid has big hole in it Log a little damp 2nd for the day, on we go.TFTC
Been looking at this one for a while. Nice walk today. TFTC - seal, + fish & seaweed
Decided to get the caches this time... Us addicts often don't collect the cache but rather walk past it whilst zeroing in with the gps-r over several occasions... It's quite sad really... 2nd attempt, got the right co-ords this time. Cheers.
Cache could do with a new lid as there is a big hole in this one. Pleasant walk today.

GPS decided to go a bit nuts here, ended up approaching from completely the wrong side over some rather interesting terrain. Cache box has a hole in the bottom. TFTC.
this was a far bit off the track and made people look at me a bit funny any way and easy find and it helped to get my dad off his ass

A beautiful Nelson day with hardly any wind - enjoyed a nice walk to the Wild Blue cache - GPS was a bit erratic but found easily with the help of the clue.

I printed the webpage for this cache in June 2006 and never got around to finding it. We decided to find it today, so I printed off a current webpage (always safe thing to do!). So, we used the old coordinates and found the 'missing' cache! It was close to where it was supposed to be - about 1m west of plant under some dirt. We put it back where we found it. Then we re-read the info for the new cache and found it too. How about that?
New cache:
- Mickey Mouse keyring - Kiwi basketball

Nice One!!!!!!Have sent a special congratulations to Early Rizers for the cache "double find", the one that went missing over a year ago and the new one. That must be some kind of geocaching record. Will pick up the "missing" container.
Did this one on the way back from your other one nearby as the kids energy levels were starting to flag;could have done with a drink as it was a hot day.TFTC TNLN.
Nice to get off the bike for a descent walk. Couldn't take the clue too literally.

Original cache has gone missing, so replaced with a new cache in the same general area.
Took two revlets for a walk. We looked rather hard even used the clue but it might have been muggled or we are blind.
Never done this walk before. Managed to dodge the rain showers today. I was ammused by the signage around here especailly the "no fishing or picnic traffic" one. How does "picnic traffic" pose more of a problem than say geocaching traffic? Can't figure out what the problems with bicycles or fishing rods are either. oh well, nice walk anyway

Our first ever find and we enjoyed the walk, did use the clue, but found my GPS was spot on, so will be more trusting next time,
Lovely evening walk with the Qmoto team, made more interesting by the arrival of Security and Police. TNLN
What can I say, an easy cache when you enter the correct details in your GPS. Spent half an hour looking in and around the wrong place, then decided to re-enter position into my GPS and bingo ended up in the right spot.

All was well - left a green star stone.

Cheers USA Kiwi, found the cache and co-ords spot on but someone has swapped the yukka for a Cordyline (Cabbage tree)
2nd cache of the day. Nice pleasant one to find with the kids. Matchbox car was most appreciated.
What a great walkway. It was a crystal clear morning and planes were taking off and landing throught our walk. This was a great place and such a good idea to make it possible to walk around an area like this.
Swapped key chains.
Thanks

My first geocache in the dark! Well, the set sun was rosy-glow over the hills and there was a plane landing at the time, but close enough Nice spot
Great place to hide a cache. This one combines my two great hobbies, Geocaching and aviation photography. Was unlucky enough to trip and faceplant a blackberry patch! No exchange made, cheers usakiwi!
Nice walk around my old work.
Dropped off Surfer Girl Kelly TB to enjoy some fine Nelson beach weather.

Went for a jog this evening with Son Ben and let him find this one for me. Was getting dark and we needed the clue, though the overgrowth here puzzled us for a while.
Found it ok in the end in what seemed to be the most logical place anyhow!

Cheers

This was a nice walk instead of all the drive-to ones we have been doing.

I figured I would try and nail both of these caches today. Comfortable walk around, I had to pause at one point as a plane came in to land. Carried on around and got to GZ quite easily. Found in seconds as pretty obvious spot No exchange made. Hmm, I wonder if I should try walking across the mud-flats to the next cache. Why not?! Cheers Gav [470]
Lovely stroll on a lovely, late summer evening. Mrs Sobad complained about gorse prickles - she should wear good practical geo-caching trotters like me! Found the spot without any problems. Another day in paradise.
[We would not have expected to find a nice walk in this area - but it is... Just going for the cache in sandals was not all pleasant] and not being able to find a yucca - just a cabbage tree[, but we still thought this might be a good spot for Certik.

Nice walk, lots of wild life scurrying around in the under growth (I suspect of a feathery nature but did not get a good look)
The head cacher was at his grandmas for the day so we took the opportunity to find these two caches. It was HOT and only the seabreeze stopped us from being fried . Great spot. Very much enjoyed the local activity.

We walked the entire loop, if you are going to do these caches make sure you aren't pressed for time because there are no shortcuts!!
Very hot day to be out walking, a swim might be in order now.
Coords were bang on. Nil traded.
