I had about a 45 minute look around the entire south side of the point. Nothing found except a dead rabbit. Be going back for another look soon.
Had as much of a look as was possible today but came up empty handed. Every muggle in the vicinity was here today, checking out the huge surf after the bad weather from the last few days. Will come back.
GPS had me in the middle of the grass with cliffs on either side. Spent some time checking scrub on both sides to no avail.
found after a short search did not find any travel bugs in the cache as the last log said one dropped of tnlnsl tftc lost bear
Found this on a trip back from further north- had to be careful with a few muggles and gizmo was playing up but was spotted in the end in a good container.
Found by accident chasing baby black rabbit - what are the chances of that! Heard about game might find some more!
Found it in ten mins This was a great cache lost Bear It has a good veiw of the water

Finally made the pilgrimage to the No. 1 cache in my home town. Found in no time, was almost too obvious. Returned in same spot but put it a little further under cover to make sure all was well. TFTC!
this was a great cache i found it with crazyhand. it took us about 2 hours to find it because of all of the tourists and because we havn't found a cache in about 3 months

thankyou for your interest in my cache, glad that others enjoy this location as much as i do. now go find it already.
This cache will be replaced 31.12.06, sorry i have not got to it earlier, when i went back to find the cache it was ruined and could not replaced straight away, then i had the birth of my little girl Claire and time has got away from me a little. Not realising people are so keen to visit this cache i have been slack and am sorry fellow cachers.
Would anyone object if I reloaded this cache? Lost Bear, if you're watching, could you contact me by email thru "my profile" to see if we can work something out? R.
Thanks to some fellow caches, namely gazma and applehead man, this cache has been spotted nearby it's hiding location - apparently decided to have a look around or was it some ghostly intervention? - anyway i'll head on over and replace it in next couple of days and enable the cache again. Thanks again to gazma and applehead man, good spotting.
Was not there, was found, not there again, i will go have a look and replace if needed. Watch this space.
Searched the entire area with fine tooth comb and could not find. Could see where others had looked on ground zero and as Daaave could not find it in its position 3 days ago it could have gone missing.
But then again I may have just missed it but short of using a whipper snipper every area was covered.
Great name and very cryptic for the spot.
Will try again soon.
Muggle city.

I had a quick check because i was there anyway and it has moved from where i found it last. I didn't look for it again, all i know is that it wasn't where i found and rehid it.

Couldn't find it. Looked for ages too. I'm convinced it's not even there.
This one was fairly easy to find. IT was the first one the team found and the first one of the day. Near a great beach so +5 points for that reason?
Yay found it.

MRE Platoon (of 2) found our first Cache! We were so amazed that there was one so close to us. We looked for over an hour but found it in the end. The name by the way does not come from the name of the headland (Bells Point) but infact derives from the memorial chair on the headland dedicated to "Isabell Boulton 1954)

Found this one on the second attempt with a hint from Krafty.
We probably missed it the first time due to the complexity of the hide!!

Had a quick look around for this one but couldn’t find it. Being by myself walking up and down I think I aroused a bit of suspicion. When I couldn’t handle the weird looks any more I decided to quit. I will have to come back one day and throw a ball around and loose it like Kiama Krew did, sounds like a good idea.
had a bit of trouble with this one - even with the phone a friend option. Will be back soon
On an afternoons caching with Krafty Charlie. Lovely sunny winters afternoon. A few people on the beach.
Took a little while to find cache. Enjoy the view from the chair.

interesting hide...whilst we were there a muggle mentioned to Charlie that a lot of couples propose in this area so we chose to leave behind a Champagne bottle of bubbles and took the BJK Key ring
Took a family member with us on their first geocache hunt (now a geocaching convert) and his geokiddie found it within seconds once we hit GZ. (Dont you hate Beginner's Luck !!). To return the cache without the muggles spotting us we pretended the geokiddies were searching for a lost tennis ball (he he). Great day, great spot, great views.
Nice views
lots of muggles wandering about in the nice winter weather eventuly came up with the goods

Very unusual cache container that certainly does the job. Hard to believe that we sat and ate lunch here only an hour or so earlier. Proves you just never know that they are right under your feet risisting accidental discovery. Always admire your hides Lost_Bear and this one was no exception.
First cache of the day, and a no find I was searching around for ages and just couldn't spot anything...

Came up this way for lunch at the Headlands hotel.
Quickly dropped in for this one on the way home.
Geo son was too quick and dived in for the find.

One of my favourite local spots. In our muggle days (a week ago) would never have imagined anything hidden there. Took a while to find. Could see lots of muggles but none close by. Geokiddie retrieved the cache.Contents damp. Took toy car left toy lorikeet. Thanks Lost Bear
Lovely spot, aptly named cache. Had to hunt a bit, but found ok. Cache had some water in it, so dried out as well as possible, then replaced. Had no swaps so TNLNSL. Thanks.
Found it just before midnight after attending a wedding nearby. Nice and easy with nobody else around. Thanks
Nice easy find - what a great view down the coast. Thanks for the hunt. No muggles around but the trafic was pretty bad, I think the new bridge is working! Took bells left key ring.
Easy find but difficult to extract without suspicion. We sent in the kids and nobody was the wiser:)
Left some colouring pencils and took a fridge magnet. Great spot to waste some time, pity we had none to waste.
Thanks lostbear

Hi all
Found this one on my third visit to GZ.
Muggles here, muggles there, muggles every bl#*dy where. Oh well, it is such a beautiful spot (one that was voted one of the best in Australia), everyone's going to enjoy the area.

Thanks Lost_Bear for bringing me back to my youth.

third for the day. no muggles on our visit as it was raining when we got there and then proceeded to hail. The girls thought it was hilarious sheltering in the back of the car and loved walking to location under the umbrella with their raincoats on. Those of us not under the umbrella were soaked from head to toe and had to get changed when I got back to the car! Fairly easy find and had stopped raining for two mins while we logged and swapped. Thanks

Found by Pi and Sigma.
50th GC cache.
This is by far our favourite beach on this part of the coast and both of us have many fond memories of coming here over the years. GPSr had us going from one side to the other so we decided to take a seat and let it rest for a minute. This was a good move as the GPSr then led us straight to the cache. To avoid scrutiny we sat down with Isabel at a nearby comfortable location with excellent views and did the cache stuff. The replacement went well and then we headed down to the restaurant for lunch. We are glad we did this one before lunch as there were some people enjoying the views from near the cache while we were eating and it looked like they had settled in.
T: Girls bracelet.
L: Warner Bros fridge magnet.

Sun was going away fast, starting to get cooler, but the seas were quite spectacular down below!
Cache was easily found and i think really needs replacing as a nest of ants, including eggs had taken up residence inside.
Removed the ants, signed the log and put it back.
Cheers

Ah, much easier without wedding parties setting up in my way! Still had to be careful with muggles walking past by the tonne. One muggle started to follow me out towards GZ, and then stood there right next to where I wanted to be as he stared off into space for about 10 minutes. Then after he left and I started searching, an old lady decided I looked a bit suspicious and gave me the evil eye for a few more minutes while I retreated to safety. Finally with a decent gap in traffic, I made the find and retreived the cache! No swaps on me, so TNLNSL. Thanks Lost Bear, great location for a cache!
Sorry to hear about your misfortune bigmick, I checked and the cache is still in place, maybe bring your penguin suit next attempt - oh and maybe let tangles know when your going.
Well, this should've been easy. But noone mentioned wedding parties setting up right where we wanted to be! Bugger! Try as we might, we just weren't dressed to blend in as wedding guests. I'll be back...
A nice easy find during an afternoon of 6 successful find in 8 caches around Wollongong.

I optimistically headed down to Hill 60 at Port Kembla to go hang gliding. However, by the time I reached Stanwell it was pretty obvious that it wasn't going to happen. It was blowing over the back and Port Kembla was hidden in haze.
I thought well, it's worth going and having a look - you never know - optimism overruling logic. I turned off at Bulli and there was no wind and now lightning was striking down south around Port Kembla. That's when logic prevailed - you ain't getting airborne today buddy.
This headland brings back memories. I ran up and down it while learning to fly about 16 years ago. I think they still use it for this.
By the time I extracted the cache, the sky was looking pretty awe inspiring - the picture doesn't do it justice. Moments after this photo, the heavens opened up and the wind was blowing so strongly that blasting sand from the beach made it impossible to face the wind.
I quickly signed the log in the lee of the bushes and got outta there.
I think Tangles got the better end of the day if his pictures are anything to go by.
TNLN.
Thanks Lost_Bear

We confirmed the speedy muggling and are sorry to see this Lost Bear. Better luck with the next placement.
A popular spot today. Met up with a few other fellow cachers out here only to walk away empty handed. Unfortuantely we think the muggles beat us all. We found the attachemnt method on the ground, but no cache.
