With all the recent rain the river was high today. It was lapping at the grass it was that high. HWD and I parked up the road and wandered on down towards GZ where I spotted the cache on approach. No one was paying any attention to us so it was a nice quick find, sign and replace.
Quite a nice little spot down here, even a water skier was taking advantage of the location.
Thanx again

Found with my husband before visiting a local shop. We bought a very nice camphor laurel wood, stemmed drinking glass. Oh, yes, my husband also had a quick beer before doing the return river cruise back to Tweed Heads. Thanks for the hide, The Rats.
2nd forthe day now for some lunch at the pub. Quite easy when you think about the clue
Heading back to Brisbane after a couple days at Brunswick Heads. Try to stay off the highway as much as possible, and find a few aches along the way.
Pulled into Tumbulgum, had our normal coffee and cache, before heading out for another piece of cache. This one, another easy find. Thanks The Rats for the hide

Found on a nice sunny morning in Tumbulgum. Nice cache, nice view. Spoke to some muggles nearby who were very interested in what we were doing-now potential new geocachers.

I keep telling myself this will be the last cache, this will be the last cache, this will be the last cache, well I think maybe I finally got to last one before I get back to Brisbane finally. The light is starting to fail and it's getting colder .
This is an easy find for my height. Comes in handy sometimes. It's a beautiful spot that just beside the very wide and quiet River that runs through this place. It's great for fishing kayaking just generally having picnics out of course finding bull sharks. Tftc

Raining so we took shelter we watched the mist rolling over the mountain, the rain easing a bit so decided to have another search. And P resto found it!
Tftc The Rats and for bringing us to this beautiful spot. :^)

Made it to GZ just as a downpour began... at least we were in the right spot! and a perfect excuse to stay there and ponder the hint. After several looks in a promising spot, I employed a tactic I like to call "stick my hand there and hope I don't get bitten by something bad", lo and behold, a cache! Finally!
Out with Geopartner heading to Murwillumbah for the night.
After arriving at a small riverside town and enjoying the history around to read.
Photos taken of the view.
Wandered over to GZ for a quick find.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks The Rats All good with this cache

A nice spot here with lisylou and mnance101 and tash on our way to mt warning
On our way to Mt Warning, Bennyboppers, Lisylou, muggle Tash and myself decided to do this cache. I found this one. TFTC!
Found at 10:23 AM GAFF1.
c-pprass was let loose to find this cache in this lovely little neat town, while p=pprass went looking to get the gas cylinder refilled - that didn't happen btw. So when we got reunited, it was found that c-pprass still couldn't locate the cache, so it was upto p-pprass to put his hands on it nearly straight away.
Thanks The Rats.
Feedback: The Terrain rating for this cache needs to be at least a 2.0

Out and about enjoying the sunshine today on a weekend drive. It was lunchtime and we decided to have lunch here.
Some amazing vegetarian fare on offer at the cafe over the road. It was cool to see photos inside of various flood levels over the years here.
After lunch we wandered over the road to see if I could avenge my recent DNF. There was no muggles today which made the search much faster and thankfully today I can convert to a smiley.
Thanks for the cache rats this really is a stunning location. I wish i had a houseboat!

Making a detour on the way to Byron Bay. Stopped for a drink at the pub and to get a couple of caches
No luck for me today I'm afraid... i searched everything that matched the hint and quite a few other places besides, all to no avail. It wasnt to be. Thats caching...
I enjoyed my visit to tumbulgum today and will likely return soon to try again at some stage.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Nice arvo trip to local caches. This was the 1st of the 5 caches we found. Took a little bit of time because of all the muggles around. I'm still excited about geocaching overseas as I've travelled here all the way from Finland. So fascinating to learn about new places while finding caches. TFTC!!
kdawg92 and I were soon to board on to a cruise nearby, but we thought we'd give this a shot within the time frame we had. We gave it as thorough a search we could, considering there was a muggle smoking very nearby and would occasionally glance over at us... Alas! We left it alone, until we at least returned.
After the cruise, we came back and gave it another go; trying a couple of new places that we didn't check last time as well... Unfortunately, no cache was being spotted by us today! Most likely just a case of tired eyes, and shall keep a watch on this cache to likely discover that it is still there waiting to be signed with our names!

Spent a lot of time looking around where we thought the cache would be hidden to no avil. Will try again next time we are this way.
Had a weekend away at the besties place again and we thought we would head in the other direction to what we did last time as we crossed off most of the Lolly Bag Loop.
This was our fifteenth of 23 finds for today so we were pretty happy.
Found a park as close to GZ as we could and walked to it. Spotted likely hide and made our approach. Damn!! Muggles using the BBQ. Thought it best after the run we were having of no DNF's today that the best way to approach was to just go straight to it and start a conversation. You know the one. We aren't crazy people, we are geocachers, and then go into a little bit of what it's all about. Lucky they were Scottish and had heard of it back home so let us sign the log mid conversation. Great waterproof paper too.
Cache is ok.
Log signed and replaced as found. Their lunch smelled great but we were on a mission to do as many caches today as we could so headed off.

A quick find. Managed to be stealth with all the muggles around. Such a beautiful area. Thanks for the cache The Rats!
Had a second search and found the container separate from the magnet. First log on new sheet.. Small magnet inside but placed larger one in as well and returned to position. Enjoyed the lunch at the Tavern.

Finally got a morning on our Queensland holiday to do a bit of caching and to pick up a combination of a few different types of caches for a challenge I am slowly working on back in Melbourne. I grabbed one puzzle in Queensland before heading down this way for a few in NSW. It was very humid and 35 degrees today which is weather I am so not used to being from Melbourne!
A nice quick find thanks to the hint then headed on my way.
Thanks The Rats for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Must have been shearing season at the pub. Price is astronomical and meal was underwhelming. We were fleeced.
Had to have a chat with the tourists nearby first amd then look. Very high, not for the kuds.
Had trouble finding this one when I looked earlier this year. Because it was exactly where I had expected it to be and had searched carefully, I figure it must have been muggled. Because it was easy this time. And near my favourite pub so that I could celebrate post cache. Tftc
Out for a day of caching with Nyssaflutterby, Angela from Team DNA and barbbowman.
I always love travelling along this stretch of river.
Quick find for Angela. Log signed, cache replaced.

It was definitely time to head for home but as the saying goes.... just one more (or three!). Team DNA, barbbowman, FastEd 59 and myself made quick work of discovering this beasty. After signing the log we replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache The Rats

On a NSW adventure with Nyssafluttery, barbbowman and FastEd59.
We had completed the two caches we had come down to grab and was left with some extra time! We decided to follow the cache trail and see how we went!
After having an unlucky day, missing out on all the finds, I KNEW where this one was going to be....
It's just the thought of sticking my hand "in there" that stopped me having the cache already in my hands!!
Barb took a step back and confirmed the hide so I bit my lip and reached in, and came up with a cache!! And NO crawlys!! YAY!! My first find of the day!!!!

Being vertically challenged was a problem but GeoDad's walker came to the rescue!!! TFTC Great spot! Love coming "home"!
Found with the GeoCousins while on a visit from Sydney. Tumbulgum is such a beautiful spot! Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
I so remember the ferry services across the Weed river, as locals we could travel for free, not sure it was really allowed but we would walk on, and go back and forth many times, laughing at the number of cars lined up. Rusty85 had this in hand in no time but then I was lost in memories. TFTC
Lovely place to have a BBQ lunch while sitting and watching the water Found with Diamonjs. TFTC
Sighted twice today, both times lots of muggles were present. Harrumph. Maybe another time...

I can't seem to get away from Rats caches (no matter how wide I roam). This one was our last on our day trip from where we are house sitting in Fingal. We had a huge lunch at the tavern then had a stroll (recce) past GZ where a large group of mums & bubs had gathered. We sat in the sun taking in the vistas of the river, Mt Warning & the cane fields burning nearby and waited & waited & waited. Well neither geohubby or I are well known for our patience but we deserved a medal for this marathon effort. Over an hour later the group finally disbanded about the same time as a group of fishermen moved in. It was a quick walk by stretch / grab and continue walking, sign log then another walk by & stretch. TFTC Rats. I wonder where the next Rats cache will appear in Oz ?
Nice hide. Hint helped. Unfortunately Mt warning was obscured by cloud today. Still a great day for caging by the river. TFTC.
Great spot. The cache was cached and I wandered over to the wood shop. The Robusta furniture for just under 2K was a steal. Pity I could not squeeze it in the i30 and then the airbus at Cool.
Thanks to The Rats and clear skies from TeamAstro.
