We really think that it is AWOL & if it is not going to be checked perhaps it is time to go.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Well, we came, we hunted, but we didn't find.
Sorry deaning, but Kyzabra had no joy here and didn't find Wassup at Martup?

As we road trip our way to Rockingham from Sydney via Perth and Albany for WA Goes Big next weekend, we stopped at a few of the caches on our way south today. We thought this one sounded interesting so in we went and sure enough someone was camped near the yellow bin. Never mind... Off we wandered and we gave this one a red hot go but we couldn't find this D1/T1 hide
Quick stop on my roadtrip with Mistraluna today. After finding a way in to GZ (first road was blocked by tree), we parked close to GZ and wandered over. A quick find and container was dry and the water has receded. Mistraluna had the time of her life laughing at me climbing over logs and ending up bum up. .

Interesting spot, must come back in winter when area is green but at the moment water now is only 1metre away from Cache after the recent rains. TFTC
Was camping here overnight and was cooking my breakfast when my phone signal (Optus!!) finally kicked in and there it was - a green spot that needed some yellow in it! Thank you for the smiley
What a beautiful spot. I live 50km away n drive past this a thousand times and never knew this existed. Thanks for sharing this wonderful spot with us. Great hide.
What a great spot - running water everywhere at the beginning of spring. Cache is a bit damp! Thanks for the nice hide.
Found with mikLovin and what a loverly place,Cache was in good condition and left a TB

Found on the way to Perth. Have passed this spot many times and always wanted to stop and have a look. Great location for a cache or for a over night stop. TFTC
Found on our camping trip. Took 3 TB's when visiting martup pool. Thanks for highlighting this area to us.
A few months ago we made plans with friends to come down this weekend to Denmark and find the legendary roymerc caches.
We stayed at the camping area at Parry's Beach overnight, packedup and headed to Denmark about 9am to complete the remainder of roymercs ingenious hides. I split up with Dallyho about 11.30 and headed for home in Perth.
I have been wanting to get to this cache for over 4 years, since I first drove past as a cacher. Today I finally had the chance with a few minutes to pop in and turn it into a smilie. What a beautiful spot.
I have dropped off some TBs I've been carrying for a while to continue their journeys.
TFTC deaning.

Found it! I originally logged a DNF on this cache over TEN years ago on 2006-01-27!! Awesome spot for it, thanks for the cache!
Our geo mobile is quite low profile so we didn't think we would be able to make it to GZ! Thankfully it was a well established dirt track and we were glad we gave it go as we were rewarded with a little oasis hidden in the bush! No one was around we had the whole place to ourself. Thanks for the detour & adventure off the main road! TFTC
Wow I love this spot! Wish it was a tiny bit closer to our weekend destination as it would be perfect to camp here!! Tftc
One of the quickiest cache logging ever, nasty little bugs everywhere :/ hahaha cache container was wet, i dried it as best i could. Cache log is good. TYFC, lovely spot except for these fricken bugs!!!
Found on a road trip from Canada to Albany via Perth and Kalamunda.
Thanks deaning for bringing us here where it IS beautiful (but we didn't awim), and for helping to keep our streak alive at day 612, and overall cache # 1492.

Another late log for me - as per my usual style. Found this one on the way home from Albany last time, but somehow lost my field notes for the return journey. Rest assured, I did find it though. Thanks for placing this cache deaning. I really loved the location and have already recommended this little spot to my dad as the perfect little stopover for one of his trips away.
Heading down south for the New Year break to spend some time camping in the Stirling Range and perhaps a day or two in Albany. I had my muggle with me whom often doesn't have much patience for park n grabs but I'm trying to fill in some gaps on a challenge cache and he was kind enough to drive and sit in the car while I hunted.
Love the secluded location where this cache is sitting. Ran into a nomad and his dog whom were camping nearby. Seemed like a nice enough chap and we stayed and had a bit of a chat with him. He turned out to be a really interesting person. I do enjoy meeting some of the people we run into on our little adventures. Cheers, deaning, and TFTC.

A good chance to stretch my legs here and the cache was found quickly . No campers here today and the place was peaceful [^]
I made a last minute decision to head down this way to grab some smileys. It is my first adventure this far south! The weather forecast was not good but I risked it anyway.
deaning - jinta29 found your cache Wassup at Martup? on 11/09/2015 7:44 am. This is my find #3791 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Thanks for showing us a beautiful location. Took us a few minutes to locate the cache but a fun stop on our way back to Perth.
We found it surprisingly difficult to find the track until we eventually entered what we thought was a parking area and realised it continued. Thanks for the cache.
What a lovely spot this is, and what looks like great orchid country so we will be going back to check them out. Thank you for showing us this place.
Quick detour on a trip to Perth, neat little spot. Had a little bob-tail scare the bajezzus out of me on the walk in haha
Found container..if it was in a plastic bag (as shown in photos??) its not anymore. Found with Team SRAMS TFTC.
Found on a short detour on our way back from a trip further south - lots of flies about, then realised there were also mozzies which were of greater concern (I hope I won't be scratching tonight!). TFTC.
Have stopped in the parking area many times, oblivious to the fact that you can drive down to the river. Quick find and retrieved my first ever pathtag from the cache. TFTC
Met fellow geocachers at this find. Great spot. We have often stopped at the picnic tables and not ventured down the tracks. Well worth it on the way from Perth to Albany.
Traveling with the non geo hubby and geokid we were headed south from Baldivis to Coalmine Beach for a couple of nights. The hubby said I was allowed 3 caches on the way down, so this was my second choice. I couldn't get the satellite view to show on my phone as we got closer, so I wasn't sure which road to access this cache from, so we took a guess and drove down a very minimal used track - but thinking this must be it. We went as far as we could and I was still 300 metres from it. So I decided to foot it alone as the geokid was in shorts and didn't want to walk through the bush in case of snakes. I headed out and what a beautiful, beautiful area. I am still cursing myself for not taking a photo of the area I walked through as it was carpeted with blue, yellow, white and purple wildflowers and only a few inches deep.
I managed to stumble onto another dirt track in which I realised was probably the track we should have taken from the other road. As I headed towards GZ there was an area of very high grass I needed to navigate through. Thankfully there were some sticks left there (by previous cachers maybe or fairies) I'm not sure. I grabbed one and bashed my way through the grass scaring any snakes away that may have been there. Finding the cache, signing the log I dropped a pathtag and pathtag holder in there and took nothing. I stood and enjoyed the area for a minute after securing the cache in its spot and headed back to the track. I phoned hubby and said for him to come down the other road and there should be a track in. I walked down a bit waiting for him. He phoned back unsure and so I explained again and I was picked up a couple of minutes later, happy to have found the cache and had a beautiful walk as a bonus. TFTC and showing me an amazing secluded piece of wonderful, I will have to stop in again when I go on a road trip with my cacher friend

The dangers in geocaching... Plenty when you try and avoid an ants nest, slip on the wet grass, get up, jump over the nest and your foot goes further down than what you expect and ouch. Found cache out in the open, moved it to the base of a tree because "paper bark". TFTC
Another pit stop required by the kids, so noticed we were only a few kms from here. Stopped off for a quick find once at GZ. Grabbed the geocoin too. TFTC.
Thank for the cache great spot can't wait to come bAck and camp here thanks for bringing us here! littlelisa22 and wayward

Driving directions found us at the entrance to the parking bay, however, obviously we took the wrong track. We parked up, and walked around in circles, not getting any closer than about 300 metres. Actually saw three yellow rubbish bins! 38 degrees today, so stuck to our 15 minute rule. Shame, as we have not had a DNF in ages.
Thanks for the park up Deaning, we have camped here before (pre geo days). No water today, so no mossies.

TFTH/TFTC had no idea this lovely stop on the way to Perth was there, found cache on our way home south.
What a great camping spot! Would never have come here if not for caching!! Cheers deaning!
The answer is all in the name. A little bit off the beaten track but worth the trek. Watch out for the mozzies!
TFTC!

Nice location, might have to come back here and camp. Pretty ez find ..
[:(!] Went for a four day caching run to Denmark, Pemberton and then back to Perth, on our first day to Denmark we picked up some caches along the way and this was one of them, parked the geocar close as possible to GZ and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Great location hiding in the bush without any advertising. Will be better after more rain and new growth. Quick find on way home from Easter break. TFTC
A quick find on the way to Albany. Even at midday there were many mozzies - a pity as it would be a great camping spot. TFTC
We found and logged this Cache on our south-west Road Trip TFTC Greetz from Switzerland
Thanks for bringing us here. Stated the night in our van. Lots of mozzies but we managed. TFTC
Wassup at Martup? Mosquitoes is up at Martup!!!
Lots and lots of big, fat, hungry, voracious mosquitoes which had one child very upset and claiming this to be the worst geocaching spot ever .
With aerogard on hand, or without mosquitoes, it would have been a great spot so come prepared.
We swam briefly and it was cold but good.
Thanks for a good diversion on the drive between Albany and Perth.

On our way to Albany for a couple of days Geocaching.
The track leading in looked clear so we drove the Caprice down it & reached the turnaround unscathed.
PHEW!!
Lake was full and there was plenty of bird-life to listen to in the quiet. Mozzies on the other hand were huge and friendly.....Ouch! Cache was soon found, logged signed and ran back to car to escape the mozzie attacks.

We were umming and aahing about whether to stop or just keep driving to Kojonup but we're so glad we did. What a beautiful hidden spot! But don't try and get to GZ from Robinson Rd or you'll end up down a dead end track!!
