As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Like previous three logs had a good look round but no luck today, will keep an eye on this one.
Looked for ages and never found! will have to try again after someone else logs it successfully
Had to look under quite a few 'small tree's but still found in less than 5 mins. TFTC!
straight into 2014 and off caching... such fun... nice find but took the long way round and bush bashed... tftc Mcroni
The dawn breaker event had finished so we set off on a drive and came across this cache. The GPS died as soon as we parked the car but being the experienced cachers that we are, we found the cache with no description or hint! The logbook was a bit damp but no problems writing on it. We took the photo from just up the road - check out the view today! Thanks for the cache Mcroni.
Found on a sunny winter day after the walk to signal hill. TFTC. this one took us a while to find. Maybe we are out of practice - haven't done caching for a while.
This was my second visit to look for this. Found easily this time ... with a tiny bit of extra help from PC Sniff. YES. A GPS device is more accurate than a smart phone. TFTC
Once the main route North, this road has reverted to a country road. It was a bit windy to enjoy a rest on the seat but it was sheltered at the cache site.
A quick, easy find in a nice spot. Shame I didn't have time to sit for a while. TFTC.
Arrived at good place to park along side seat. Good views from here today. Commenced my search and soon had container in hand. Not much traffic on this road whist I was there. Left some of my path tags. This is my last day of twelve in Dunedin and thanks to all the local cachers for their cache placements. TFTC.
Nice NEV view. Started filling up the Mega CITO bag at this rest area so left the place much tidier than we found it.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Found as I was ambling around the area after the NZ MEGA CITO event today; I remember that Brown House was quite the place to have gatherings/ celebrations in the 60s at this end of Dunedin, and then the fire.
Quick find, TFTC.

Today it was just Sully1 and I to grab a few caches and learn and see a bit more of this beautiful town.
Despite the forecast, the weather held up once again, and we had a great day finding some clever and simple hides, but all were a joy to find.
Thanks for this one Mcroni, nice spot to sit

Found with bogonghazy whilst in town for the Mega Event. We had a great few days caching around Dunedin, and the weather was perfect, even though some places were quite muddy underfoot. My Thanks to the CO for the placement of this cache, and for bringing us here today. Great views.
Out with Darby&Joan. Found on our return from not finding a puzzle further up the valley. TFTC
Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
We stopped short for this one, but after walking up to GZ we soon had the cache.
Thanks

Our 6344th overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. Our driver parked a long long long way from this one, I almost needed a packed lunch.
Thanks Mcroni for the cache. Stats for our trip can be found here http://www.campersdownunder.com.au/geocaching/NZTrip/stats2.html

Road trip down to Dunedin with Kiwi Moose to the Dunedin Mega. Thanks for the hide.
Great place to stop with good views of the city. I do wonder what people must think as they drive past and see people coming out of the bushes.
We found it together with SpeedyGT during our stay in Dunedin. TFTC and greetings from Czech republic!
We found it together with Simal during our trip around South Island. TFTC and greetings from Czech repulic!

Lovely view, lived up this way in my childhood. Out with Ingidayna and Cacheman chris:) TFTC
Lovely view another on the afternoon of caching with Ingidayna and Castlewood_Crew
Didn't find this last time I was here due to muggles, easy find this time with no muggle problem Cheers Gav [10535]
5908 A great view today, we were very fortunate with the weather - heading to Mt Cargill to soak in a bit more of the view before we must keeping moving back North (we have a date with a ferry). TFTC
nice place for a cache and great view, and the terrain not difficult but not a 1 as not suitable for wheelchairs - maybe 1.5? TFTC!!
Got this one while down in Dunedin to spend Christmas with mum.
Another find on Christmas day! Yay!
Well, this one was a little harder to find. I kept looking in terrain 1 spots, but nothing to be seen. Eventually I expanded my search area, and the cache was located in more of what I'd say be a terrain 2 spot? But I mean that only made it like 10 minutes longer.
An easy find once that was done!

Reasonably easy find, although My GPS froze up at one point. I've never had that before?

The 35th find for the day with ingidayna. A great place, beautiful night views tonight. Took TB. TFTC
