Completely waterlogged didn't have anything to replace it with unfortunately. Nice view though!
Find by pnutbeagle and The Marathon Man (Northern Ontario Canada) continuing our vacation in Australia after having spent 4 weeks in New Zealand. Also enjoying the great weather in Australia of 25+°C. We are also away from the -3° C and snow back home in NorthWestern Ontario, Canada.
Another great day of geocaching in Victoria and New South Wales, Australia. Today we travelled from Eden, Victoria to Canberra, New South Wales on our way to Canberra to meet some Ford Model A owners
An easy find

All the latches on the cache containers lid has been broken so container was full of water. Everything except for the newly added log book in the ziplock bag is soaked.
11:11:00 AM. After a brief tour of the capital we are on our way again. It's a bit hard sightseeing with a caravan. Replaced log with a small log sheet and new bag. Left old log for owner. Thanks alpha993 for placing this cache.
TFTC. Unfortunately couldn't sign this one as log and container were water logged. Container clips are broken and Otis in desperate need of replacement. We grabbed the TB out of here to continue its journey. We have covered it the best we can to keep it out of the weather.
Great cache. Loved the camo - seems out of place in the Aussie bush, may not seem so out of place in Canberra.
Another 10+ year old cache with a 4 digit code... there are many of these in OZ! Thanks for my first cache in ACT!
Quickly signed this one on the way home. Our first ACT cache. Container needs some TLC.
Straight off the plane, into a hire car and quickly had this find. Will give this one a Fav Point as it brings back many a memory of stopping here to take pics. Tftc
Always good to stop at a State border
Alas log is v wet as lid wasn't on properly

Today we headed towards Sale passing through some of the best country side similar to our home state, Tassie and picking a few along the way and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

found this one on our way back from the snow. The container was an airtight container but the clips on the lid have been broken off and allowing water ingress. The contents were saturated.

Quick stop-off during a road trip. Cache dry, contents soggy but log was usable. TFTC!
Found on our 2015 Merimbula trip. After 10 years of this one being hidden, I was so surprised that we hadn't found it until now. After entering the ACT once again, we climbed up the hill to GZ for a quick find. HOWEVER, the cache was actual full of water - I mean full, the water level was right at the top. The lid doesn't work and the logbook was pretty well saturated. I would have replaced it if I had another container, but this is in need of serious attention. TNLNSL. TFTC alpha993!
The weekend was here! And what better way to spend it than to escape Canberra and head off for a coastal geomission?!
Swung by this one on the way. Up, up I went to make the easy find. Emptied out the water in the cache and signed log even though it was very damp. This one could do with replacing-the lid does not seal.
Thanks for the hide, alpha993

Found this one on our way to Canberra. The lid is still broken and everything saturated. We were unable to write on the log. Made it down the hill without incident. Tftc
Good stretch of the legs.
Inside container all wet, lid broken. Unable to sing log as it was too soggy.

A quick climb to stretch the legs and have wet geo in hand.
May need new container as lid is broken. All contents soaked, unable to sign wet log.

Another caching team was leaving just as I arrived. Wasn't planning to search for this cache, otherwise would have brought a spare container and log - as per previous logs this one requires some attention. TFTC
Didn't expect the terrain rating! But up Loki went and an easy find once at the right elevation. All is soaking wet in the cache unfortunately .
Thanks alpha993

Attended this Geocache to get the Beware the Hex - Mar 10 GCCGeocoin that jo27matt left there on 14.Apr.2015. Sadly it was not there and Im sorry to have missed it. No caches have logged their visit since it was placed. I hope it has not been nicked and that it turns up soon.
The container was filled with water yet again, the logbook is ruined and everything left in the geocache is covered in slime. Yuck...!!!

Found OK, but container had some water in it and log book completely soaked. Clips have broken off the lid, so it isnt going to seal.
Left a sheet of waterproof paper which I signed.
Thanks

I arrived at the Geocache today at lunchtime. I noticed the container was not hidden and that the lid was mostly off. On closer inspection I noticed that the container was filled to the top with water. The Logbook and some other paper items were floating in the water. The clips that hold the container shut have broken off and the container has seen better days. othing in the Geocache is able to be saved as it has been wet for a long time. Needs urgent Replacement and Maintenance as the container has been broken and full of water since January .
didn't realize how far south this one was until i made the drive. thankfully it was late Good Friday and nobody was on the road so i was able to easily park right next to the cache....unfortunately it is still in bad condition and i tried to sign the log but its very wet I hope someone can go out soon to check up on this....tftc and the chance to visit the southern border for my first time.

Woohoo. Three states/territories in a day. The previous loss talking about spiders had me puzzled but spotted it very exposed and with the lid off. Needs some work. Thanks for bringing us here.
This one was fun - Mrs Froggycache isn't a fan of spiders so I had to go ahead and disrupt and webs. Great location for it, well off the road.
This cache however is in a bad way - clips on the container are broken and inside the box, the lid fits but needs help staying in place. Everything is wet, the logbook sodden to the point that we had to carve our name into the page. Would liked to have left a TB but wasn't sure it wouldn't rust away.
Thanks for the hide though.

Together with Silli1310, we went on holiday for a year. After travelling South America for three months, we went to New Zealand for another two months and then to Tasmania. After exploring the island for three weeks, we continued along the east coast to Darwin. We started our road trip in Melbourne and continued initially through the Alps. After hiking Mt Kosciuszko yesterday, we went to Canberra today. So it was many kilometres of driving. Since we didn't want to sit in the car the whole time, we took a short break every hour to stretch our legs a little and look for a cache along the way. Since this one was right on the road, it was a good choice. It was quickly discovered and we were able to sign the log book. Many thanks for the cache.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
Together with arbor95 we are on the way south to the cache Australia's Used-to-be-Highest. For interrupting the boring drive we stopped at a view caches to sign in the logbook. this was one of them.
Thank You for this cache and for keep it going.

Found on the way back to Canberra from Cooma. Log book is quite damp. TFTC.
So, I was feeling a little restless today and decided a solo caching mini mission was in order. I decided to take the GeoCommo for its final caching mission hurrah as its being traded in on Thursday for a replacement Geomobile. Cooma was the target for today, and some caches along the journey.
This is another one of the caches I had seen on the way south and decided I would collect on the way back north. Well I found a location where I could get up the steep climb and towards the cache. There were HEAPS of strong webs up here that I spent most my time avoiding as I had NO intentions of seeing what was at the ends of those webs. EWWWW Once at GZ, cache was found quickly, signed and replaced. A note to CO - Cache is in need of CO intervention, the clips are all broken off the cache and the log book is wet. Needs maintenance log will be placed.
Thanks for the cache placement alpha993

This cache really needs attention from the CO. The container is broken (cracked lid and all the clips have broken off) and the log book including all contents are saturated.
Can CO please come and replace this cache and its contents.

Nice quick & easy find on my way back home to Sydney had to make quite a steep climb & made it back to the car before the rain, thunder & lightning struck. My 1st in the ACT! TNLNSL / TFTC
Found on the journey south, log book was too wet to sign, took a piccie for owner. TFTC
A snake I can deal with, but spiders Oh well, it was still a pretty good place for a cache, but yes, it was a shame that the cache was still sodden and the log unusable, so I left a weroamin token. Even with a broken lid, upside down it should dry out, but I might be able to replace the container on a return journey. TFTC
Took the trek up to the correct altitude and except for the multiple spiderwebs I managed to walk into, it was an easy find. Unfortunately the lid is no longer able to close on the top of the container, so it was full to the brim with water. I tipped it all out and also out of the log bag but couldn't sign to took pic instead. I didn't have anything to replace the cache. Sorry. But TFTC.
On our way from the mountains to the the sea Ohensler and myself stopped here and signed the log. And it was a really difficult find with a lot of spiders ...
Thanks for the cache, Spurenleserin.

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found along our way between Cooma and Canberra. You all offered us a great Christmas-Day! Greetings from Belgium.
[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]
After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache... A beautiful part of Australia...

Yeesss!!! My new 4WD is now officially registered, and I can actually drive it legally. So today, I have done so!!! I loaded up the GeoSchnauzers for their first trip in the new transport, and headed out to this cache to see how we went.
The dogs are unsure about the car - it is much higher than the previous one, and they don't want to jump into it - too high, or too dark, or something. This lifting them in is going to get up my nose soon - I'll have to try lifting them with the toe of my boot. (Not really, I'll entice them with a snack.)
Anyway, I started off, and found my GPS was out of batterry power, so I typed the coordinates off my phone into the car's GPS, and, behold and lo, we arrived at the right spot.
A quick walk and scramble soon had us locating the cache. I signed the log, and did minor repairs on the container. The flaps that are supposed to hold the lid closed are nowhere to be seen, and the lid no longer stays in place. I've wrapped the contained in a plastic bag to keep it dry.
Then it's back to the car. I had to lift the GeoMongrels into their seat again. I'll really have to address this!!

#2238 - 07:40; I was headed down to Cooma for a training day and stopped off to pick up a couple of the southerly ACT caches which were o0n the way. Carrying my camera made for and interesting climb and descent from this one, but located the cache easily for a quick sign and go. TFTC alpha993
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."

This year we have a long winter holiday when we are travelling in the Pacific. We are doing sightseeing and geocaching. Now we will spend a six week period in Australia where we will drive from Melbourne to Murray Bridge and then via Grampians to Canberra, Sidney and Brisbane.
On our way from Beechworth to Canberra over the Snowy Mountains we stayed for the view and for some caches. This cache at the border of ACT/NSW had a date that was interesting. After some climbing the cache was found and logged.
Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Sweden / Geparderna

Out with one of my daughters to do some hiking at Googong Dam and geocaching (aka get her out of the house before her mother throttles her ).
After spending a fair bit of the day at Googong Dam, I needed to scout out the end point for a hike my eldest daughter is planning (checking to make sure that end point is accessible by car or not). I took a round about way to it so that I could capture a few caches .
