With the figures all sorted we headed toward GZ. Well we looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! A tricky hide but with a DR of 1.5 we suspect it might be missing. There was evidence of ground works happening close by.
Thanks for the hunt anyway Rebel Acts .

Had GZ to ourselves for the most part, looked high and low for about 15 minutes until it started to rain, then abandoned the search.
Thank you very much for placing a cache here though, we will keep an eye on it and cone back if its found/replaced.

Finally grabbed this one!! Have been here a few times but there has always been people camping really close by and I have not been able to get access. This morning the coast was clear so we made a quick pick up! TFTC
In town working for the day and missed out on lunch so now its time to gather some nourishment in the form of a cache on my drive home.
Amazing location, a gem often driven past, it takes geocaching to slow us down and enjoy the smell of the roses.

I think this may be a favorite. After searching and thinking I knew it all my 7 year old daughter stood up quite triumphantly and proudly stated that she had found it!
Just beware that there are ants around the area as she got bitten by a jumping jack / bull ant but that was my fault for not putting the correct shoes on her feet before leaving home.
Made sure we covered this as best we could with some extra branches etc as it was quite out in the open.
Thank you for a lovely find, it was a great test of encryption and we loved every minute of it

>2.45pm 07/12/2013 - Didn't find it - with dgfb33. GPS wasn't sure where it should direct us this time. Maybe it had used up all it's "there it is" for the day?
Made it across the bridge! Got part way (on second attempt) & thought ... WHAT DO I DO NOW!!!! (dgfb33 standing at the other end watching - would he have saved me?) Swapped bag to correct shoulder (surprised I managed to do that manoeuvre mid-bridge) OK I CAN DO THIS - IT'S ONLY DOWN ... a hand on each side & walk ... DON'T LOOK DOWN!!! OMG...THAT BOARD CREAKED!!!! DON'T LOOK DOWN---KEEP EYES STRAIGHT AHEAD!! Oh... I'm near the end .. I can let go now. That wasn't so bad...? Hmmm .. juries out on that one. Passing thought part way over "I'd like to see the creek underneath" --- NOT THIS TIME! That meant looking OVER THE EDGE.
So brave - I walked back along the road to the car! A nice metal rail that scaredy cats like me can use on the bridge would be REALLY good? Heh heh heh. Oh yes .. another tip .. don't forget to duck under the cables! They don't move out of the way for you.
I remember now ... dgfb33 said he'd walked across the bridge some time ago & didn't want to do it again .. & he didn't this time! Aaaah that makes me feel a little better, his comment from someone who can manage most of that sort of thing.

GPS decided it had done enough good work for one day, or perhaps it was as exhausted as its owner, who was too far gone to put effort into search and headed home for a rest.
Cache was out in the open. Lovely little memorial park. Took blue stapler and left a handbag bracelet charm. Cache covered before leaving. TFTC
Cache was very easy to see and was replaced with care to prevent casual sighting. TFTC

Find # 2902
Well, its the weekend again and my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave and I decided our regular caching day would be on a Sunday and we were to head out towards Korumburra for lunch, picking up some select caches on the way. Despite winter being with us, it was not too cold and we even saw the sun in patches during the day.
With this one, we had looked at all the other bits of info around before finally stumbling across the last and correct one. We quickly put the numbers together and headed to GZ. A few muggles about today, What a great little bridge, so we had to wait before searching. Once they were gone, I managed to spot it as it was a bit exposed. We re hid it with a little more cover.

Caching about today along the country roads on the way to Korumburra trying out my new toy the Nexus7 with Ahomburg. Do enjoy these bigger drives as it fun to see where the cachers lead you. The weather turn out to be rather nice and a good mix of different cache types found. The 3 type rule achieved once more. A good result today with 20 finds and 2 DNFs, I still see plenty more to grab which will be for another trip soon.
After finally spotting the sign required the info was in hand and it was off to GZ. There was a family of muggles so a stealth attack was made on GZ and with hand signals and knobs the cache was soon spotted and return. Left with some added cover as it was a little exposed. TFTC Rebel Acts. A great location.

We were heading home after a fantastic holiday in South Gippsland today.
There was still time to grab a few caches as we worked our way home.
Thanks to the owners for them.
The bridge was really cool to cross and the cache was an easy find.

Surprisingly awesome cache! Found whilst out with Zombiedogs. We'd completed a cache across the road, and the girls said they hadn't finished their coffees yet, so we wandered off to do this apparently short multi. So very glad we did!
The bridge absolutely made it awesome! Bouncing around on that thing (we even made Zombiepuppy's feet leave the ground!), and rocking it from side to side is so much fun, even if one of our team members did start to look a little bit green.
Anyway, the cache was very simple. Did the maths, then marched back across the bridge again, bouncing and generally being noisy. The cache was soon spotted when we took a step back. Was a little bit out in the open.
Thanks for the cache, it bought us to possibly the coolest thing in all of Loch! Fav point from me.

After a quick lunch at Loch completed a couple of caches. Pulled the GeoRanger up in the Car Park and wandered around eating. Went to the required table worked out co ords and made the nervous crossing. A big fella like me crossing and bouncing along the suspension bridge had me pretty nervous!!
Quick find of the cache for a sign and replacement.

Love these carvings using old trees & the bridge here is great. Thanks Rebel Acts.
There were several caravan-campers in the park, including a grey-nomad couple sitting at the park table, so when I first walked over I didn't check both sides of the table. Instead I looked at all the other memorial signs in the park, including the ones at the front gate before returning to the original spot and checking the other-side of the table to find the required info. After a quick walk I arrived at GZ and jumped up the hill, looked around in a few obvious spots and didn't see the cache, it was only when I stood back and looked again that I noticed the cache was a little way-away and (I thought) quite exposed. After signing the log I tried to camouflage the cache a little more, but it's size and the open location made that more difficult. A very interesting spot TFTC.
Lovely spot - Stayed here overnight as part of our around Australia trip. This find was also our 1st family multi-cache. TFTC
After visiting a relative nearby we decided to stop in at Loch and try our luck. This was a charming location for a hide. No problems with the maths and we were soon at GZ adding our names to the log.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We did not have much luck with multis today, only 1 found out of three attempts. Happily, this is the one find. Enjoyed gathering the clues for a nice easy find. Quite a quanit little spot and a wonderful bridge, I really enjoyed the whole experience. Sad to hear about the Loch FC, if I was 10 years younger I might volunteer!
A lovely (hot) sunny day with no school and the day off for day1976 - perfect day for caching. Our day started with a morning rush to get out of the house, then calmed down as the day progressed. At 4:30 we finished our hunt with a stunning 14/19!!! (stunning for me (: (:)
What a lovely, historical spot. Love the bridge! The only multi we found today!!

I like this bonus one we found, looking at the Lone Soldier and saw a container before checking what caches were around town. Have put a little bit of leaf matter on top of it rather than leaving container out in the open for muggles.

What an impressive spot for a cache. As soon as we pulled up I instantly got sidetracked with the nearby bridge and crossed it to look at the soldier. Excited and without checking the coords I had assumed this was were the starting coords wud be, but then I looked at my notes and oops back over the bridge I went. Hahaha. Always playing the big kid I had a lot of fun jumping on the bridge and feeling the whole thing sway. Thanks for sharing this magical spot.
Found it on a market day and was surprised at the number of nearby campers. I have driven past this spot so many times on the Hwy and yet not taken the time to explore such a pretty location. SL TFTC
We had a nice lunch at the picnic ground and inspected
the swinging bridge. Then searched for the cache, made a mistake, searched
again and had cache in hands soon after.

Didn't have the pleasure of completing the puzzle and spent quite some time inspecting every tree, seat and grandstand looking for Fred. I guess that's what happens when you transcribe the notes to a scrap of paper and miss the subtlety of the instructions.
In the end it was good fortune, the hint, and some Geotracks that helped me find it. This cache is currently full of kidworthy goodness, and is down to the last page or two of logbook.

Out with C@H for a cache hunt down the Princes Hwy to Morwell, back to Leongatha then up the Gippy to home. The gates were open so we drove in and parked the car. C@H had done this cache so he went for a wander while I got the info and punched some numbers in to get a final GZ location. Headed over and soon had the cache in hand. Cool bridge too and really nice little picnic spot. Thanks for the hide.
Back to the area where I grew up. Fred Humphrey's was a neighbour of mine - we knew him well while we were growing up. Its great to see the suspension bridge here now. To get to netball training we used to either walk along the road and risk getting hit by a speeding car on the blind corner, or take the safer route by slipping down the embankment across the creek and up the other side. Notice the wall of the original swimming pool about 50 metres up from the footbridge is still visible. Left TB (quilters square) here in this "quiliting" town of Loch.
i think the bridge felt it when we came across. it swayed and bounced, but we made it across for an easy find
A lovely park and a great memory to the fallen. Calculations worked out and the Gz entered and the geokids enjoyed the walk. Cache was quickly found. Lest We Forget. TFTH.....SL......TNLN
Found on an adventure trip with Rogwat and the Walenaters A quick cache but I think they grey nomads who were enjoying a peaceful and quiet BBQ were a little put out when EB Nano's shrieks and screams of joy and terror as the bridge swayed from side to side, tore the serenity apart. Thanks Rebel Acts for the days biggest smiles and a very good, quick multi
Found at 2.45 we hope we did not get sprung by muggles they appeared as we where writing in the log book tried not to look suspicious T1L1
This was our first find for the day however was in a very busy location. The market was operational and there were many muggles using the nearby facilities. What a great piece of artwork in a great location. Made the find at 1150hrs, left a ladybug and a lady doll to keep the Lonesome Soldier company. TFTC
A place I've driven past and never knew existed - the suspension bridge is great. The feature of this cache and the memorial plaques around the picnic area are a sobering reminder of the price of war and how some of these small communities lost - and contributed - so much in war. TFTC
Thanks. I spotted the time capsule, and loved the suspension bridge, it was great bouncing around on it, even though it didn't feel entirely safe [8)]. Find 6 out of 10.

#11 of 19 for the day. This is a nice place to stop for a break or lunch. You can even camp here for a small fee. Found the clues and headed of to the GZ to find the cache. Took a bit of looking but M with his xray vision yells "There it is!" and reaches out and grabs the cache. I don't know how he saw it. We signed the log and left a geocoin and re-hid the cache. Even then I still couldn't see it. Now that we have the cache we decided to check out the nearby suspension bridge. M thought it was cool to get it swinging. Thankfully some muggle came along so he had to stop. TFTC. KeMs

What a tremendous park. I love these areas that tie in the towns history with daily living. Hard to believe so many from such a small town died. Important to remember the sacrifices of others. Thanks for getting us off the road and teaching us a bit of history about the place. Dropped off a couple of tbs. Wonder if the cell phone will work from here

There was an old couple sitting at the table, so we looked at the various memorials nearby and took a guess at the year of Fred's death based on the others around. Worst case, I thought, was that we'd wind up being a metre or two off.
Across the bridge we went, had a look, then figured that our guess would put us somewhere in the middle of the road. Back across the bridge, and we found Fred died some 36 years after what we guessed.
Back across again and we had the cache in hand pretty quickly.
There was a cricket game going on today, and I was quite happy to sit there and let the afternoon drift by. However, Mrs Monch's parents were expecting us, so off we went. Nice spot, thanks for taking us there.

A wrong turn from TomTom conveniently took us through this lovely town of Loch. We were driving in the car with the cache owner and he offered to show us this neat little memorial. On our way to have lunch in Kernot and the suspension bridge caught Geogirl's eye. She was not suprised when I said there was a cache there. Located the information and then the cache quickly and had lots of fun on the bridge. A great memorial in a very pretty little village. Left Self family coin.

Found @ 15:15 had lots of Muggels @ GZ & in the area but after a little while they all went had to make 2 atempts to get this one but got it in the end after about 1/2 an hour.
