Second cache of the day a bit challenging to find, pretty nice walk and nice view! Bit of a search in the rocks, dont give up and endure that hunting spirit!
A lot of scratches from the bush but super fun to find, still wondering about he name of the place I went with kakiviajando ??
Probably not the best to attempt this one alone and at night but here I am... signing the log at quarter to 9. Maybe torchlight helped spot the hide... great cache worthy of another FP, if not for the name alone. Tftc

Great view right out to the ocean. Nice rocks, caves and weathering. Worth a Favourite Point. OCW Hiltop. TFTC Geocaching NSW
Nice view of Narrabeen Lagoon and ocean from rock mound near cache. Located with Everest high assistance.
Visited for a check as this cache's new stepfather. Contents clean and dry and container ok for the moment. Coords might be a few metres out but it's fairly exposed. Cache on!
Tftc - easy find nice little walk surprised people called this a bush bash

Nice walk in with a great view once at the top nice easy find 1st for the day TFTC
Awesome view from this spot. Too a little time searching. It is a large GC so keep that in mind when searching.
OCW the Bebes. Last one for the day and we can hear the thunder rolling in so a timely finish.
We parked at the head of the track and walked up to GZ. A quick search soon had CIH.
A quick sign and off to the car before the rain set in. Tftc

Great cache and spot! With the rain on the horizon we knew we had to be quick. Yet we spent a lot of time looking in other places in rock crevasses until checking co-ords. A quick grab and dash to the car as we celebrated our find. TFTC. If anyone has time definitely do this one.
I forgot that this was a DNF. Here about a year ago and walked all over the place. On;y a few minutes this time and I had to laugh...at my former self. TFTC
Out on a small Fathers Day cache run collecting some GA trigs as well as some GC caches. In all we found seven GC caches including Bush Stables, The Bebe Ammo can - Mona Vale, Bangalow Bench, Stewarts lights, Spot the Whale, On A Clear Day and Tumbledown Dick. After a short search the container was found. With the cache in hand, we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache The 2 Dogs.
The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin, Gold-Fin Trackable and Treasure X Trackable.

A bit of scampering and climbing, perhaps flip flops were not the right option. Very happy to find.
So many great places to hide a cache here that I got distracted looking at all the places I expected the cache could be... should have stayed focused on the coords provided and I would have found this a lot quicker.

AMTG of the OUTLAW CACHERS strikes again. On an awesome vacation with IXF and got to see some beautiful places in your country. The folks were so friendly and the country was unbelievable. IXF took care of me and allowed me to have a great adventure.
Super thank for the cache!

I targeted this cache today solely for the fact that it was hidden on this date over 10 years ago. I was however glad to have come out here as the climb and the find were exactly what I was looking for: a little adventure with a prize. It took a few minutes of climbing around and multiple zeroes on my GPS before I finally wandered into the right spot. Eureka!

Day 1: Sydney to Newcastle
My goal for the day was to reach Coffs Harbour but a "slow-down" at Lane Cove took away about 2 hours off my itinerary that I never quite gained back. Fortunately, the delay actually worked in our favor insofar as the nightly stops we made.
___________________________________________________________________________
Adventure Log:
What better way to spend vacation than traveling as far away from home as possible[?] When AMTG asked me a few months ago where I would like to go, Australia was the most auspicious target. While Perth would have put me 11000mi from home, Sydney was certainly sufficient. [8].
We only had a limited number of days, so I built a route allowing us to visit Brisbane, Canberra, and Sydney within our 6 days. This, of course, meant quite a bit of driving [8)]. This whirlwind tour afforded us many wonderful vistas along the coast, in the 'mountains', and through the countryside.
We couldn't have asked for better weather and were only hindered by rain on our last evening in Sydney. And by hindered, I mean that the rain and traffic made me late for (miss) my own event at the Opera Hall [xx(].
In our 6 days, we covered over 2400km [^] and managed to find 76 caches, comprised of 60 Traditional, 8 Earthcache, 4 Virtual, 1 Multi, 1, Mystery, 1 Letterbox, and 1 Event.

A nice quick find in a very peaceful setting, only disturbed by some bogan doing burnouts on the road nearby. Mrs Big Bad was wearing shorts, so didn't come through the spikey plants and dead trees to GZ, but sensibly stayed on the track while I made the retrieve, signed the log and left a small plastic lizard.
I'n no anthropologist, but are there axe grinding grooves on the rock at the parking spot? I don't think they're a natural feature. Thanks for bringing us here, and TFTC

Day 3 of the streak to fill the calendar - it's been fun getting back into caching after almost a year off from doing it regularly. It will be nice once the days get longer, but for the moment caching in the dark will be my norm. I wasn't in too much of a rush today so wanted to grab a cache that I wouldn't have time for on other days. This one is quite close to work and although I have considered grabbing it with a colleague never got around to it. Well no time like the present. I drove from work to the start of the trail. There isn't really anywhere to park properly, but thankfully the verge is wide enough to stop. My phones torch lit up the path well enough. I got as close as I could, then after conferring with the previous logs, headed into the bush. Keeping the landmarks in mind for the return trip. There was a little bit of scrabbling involved, but nothing my little work heels can't handle. it took a little to figure out exactly where my GPS was trying to send me, but once I got closer I recognised the SPOR for what it was and soon had CIH. Woo. After signing the log I picked my way over rocks and fallen branches back to the path. Phew. Glad I didn't get lost. I might have to come back another time to check out the view. TFTC.

8th and last cache for the day. Parked a short distance away from the trail entry point and strolled to the cool rock formation. Walked around the back and got interested in a few alternate hiding holes before following the iPhone to the actual hide. SL and then enjoyed a bit of scrambling and some nice views. Time to head home.

It was a bit of a scramble getting to GZ but it was worth it for the sweeping views. I approached from an opportune angle and quickly spotted the hide. It is great to have this old one ticked-off.
Thanks The 2 Dogs.

In the area for work so drove down and parked at the start of the track.
Walk and jump, walk and jump over all fallen sticks and branches until about 45m then left the vehicular trail and an easy find was made at GZ. The container is in great shape, another 2 dogs hide collected, thanks guys

Decided to pick up a few caches along (sort of) Mona Vale Road today. Left home later than I was intending and so only found 8 (out of 8, so can't complain too much). But I did have a few nice bush walks, including one 4 kilometre round trip walk that I could have parked 150 metres from if I'd wanted.
Finally called it as darkness started falling.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
First cab off the rank for today was this 2 Dogs cache. Good place to start.
I remember the name of this cache, as when I was much younger there was a sign with the same name on Mona Vale Road. It's not there now, and I suspect hasn't been for quite a while. Either that or I keep missing it, watching the road as I drive past...
Parked next to a likely looking trail and made my way in.
A lot of fallen trees/branches across the trail, but was able to pick my way past without too much trouble. Not sure of the best spot to leave the trail and head to GZ but made a decision and picked my way uphill.
Initially overshot it as I headed for what I thought a likely spot. Readjusted once I realised and soon spotted something suss - CIH.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then headed back down through a lot of pretty flowers back to the trail and then The Hademobile.

I was doing an e-waste run to Kimbriki Tip today, so decided to stop off and have a look for this one while I was there.
After dumping my car load of old TV's & computers I drove out of the Tip and then, before reaching Mona Vale Road, turned right down the access road (Kimbriki Road). Followed KRS's "waypoints" (thanks), parking the geomobile at the start of the track (190 metres from GZ) and headed up the track and up over the big rock outcrop. It was then only a short rock-hop to GZ, where the hide was soon spotted.
SLTN but left a whistle keyring to add to the cache stash. TFTC 2 Dogs.

After a quick trip to Kimbriki I thought it was a nice day so made a small detour to get this off the list.
Had a quick read of KRS's log which provided the good access tracks. A little climb over some boulders to the top then on to the coords for a quick find.
Swapped a key ring for a penny. TFTC

27/1/15. 3:45 PM. Cache #2208. Streak day #219. I had big plans for caching on my 45th birthday, but they were dashed - firstly by today being Yelyac's first day in high school - with a couple of things we needed to attend - and then by this sucky weather. After school pickup, when we got home, Yelyac decided to stay home nice and dry, but I decided to duck out, and this was only a 15 minute drive from home.
I parked at the start of the track at 190m from GZ, and the rain had slowed to a faint mist, even though I was well covered. I followed the track to within 50m, startling a couple of swamp wallabies along the way. When I knew I was close, I could see the feature that I needed to head up to. The poor weather played havoc with my signal, so I circled a few rocky areas, before checking out the satellite image of the telltale cracks and then heading to the right spot; then it was an easy find once I'd seen an obvious hide. I signed and replaced, just as the rain came back, so I headed for home and dryness. TFTC }:)

Lovely little cache.
Fallen dead small trees and bushes make footing tricky and slippery underfoot in all weathers so watch out. But it's worth it for the scramble and the view.Plenty of likely spots close to GZ so be prepared to peer into lots of nooks and crannys.

Great Cache. It has been a while since I found a 2 Dogs cache, so today when I was visiting the tip I took a quick detour to nab this one. A short walk punctuated by fallen trees and sadly the odd dumping (people put off by the high fees at the yard no doubt). I managed to find hidey holes for 2 movable GCA caches nearby and followed the track to within 40m of the cache before a short bush bash. GPS initially lead me to the lookout and there was a great unexpected view. After it settled with a clear sky it pushed me back a bit away from the splendor and shortly after the find was made. Cache is in top notch condition for nearly 10 years old so I left a TB.
Cheers!

Found on the way to the nurseries at Terrey Hills.
Co-ords are good but it was a bit hard to actually get there due to all the fallen debris.
There is a spot not far from GZ where there's some great views in all directions.
Why isn't the cache placed there??

Found this one with CJ this morning whilst out on our calendar chase cache which took us to Tumbledown Hill.
There are a few caches around here that we haven't done and it was great to find another 2 Dogs one. We've been wanting to knock this one off for some time. Finally today we could get back over here. It was nice to get down here after so much rain. The area was still very wet. It was an easy find and we had the cache in hand quickly. We found the coords were excellent. We signed the cache and replaced it exactly as we found it.

AM and I headed to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse for a walk today and stopped to do this cache on the way. We timed it well, between the rainfall, as it was just lightly misting when finished and got to the car. Lots of downed, dried tea tree branches across the road, and charred brush, but it looked as it the bush was regenerating post fire, with lots of new, green growth as well. Coords were good with GPS. SL&R. Traded a hefty bandaid for geocaching sticker. TFTC, 2Dogs!
Plenty of scrambling about on the rocks, and close to giving up... And it ends up in the last place I look! Dropped of a TB and signed the log. TFTC!
Been meaning to do this one for a while. Nice short stroll in and then a little meander through the bush to the cache. All in good order, took the thong slug TB (again!). On the way out I climbed a large rock for a great 360 view. Thanks 2 Dogs.
Followed the trail, which now has many branches blown over it. It was a hot and windy day ("bushfire weather"). Left the trail and climbed to a high point to enjoy the views, then on to find a classic bush hide. Thanks again, 2 Dogs.

I needed to drop some stuff off at Kimbriki tip, and had a small window of time before I needed to take Geokid8 to a birthday party, so we decided to make a dash for this, despite the light but persistent rain. We found the fire trail and headed in, and were doing well until we decided to climb up a rock, thinking we were close enough. We weren't. It took a while to explore the rocks at the top until we found the container in its snug spot. We took a TB, signed the log, replaced the container, then raced back to the car. TFTC!
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. Left TB
Travelled down the long thin concrete strip this morning to the Big Smoke to visit some friends, And hopefully pick up a few caches along the way. Great cache, nice wander thru the bush, TFTC

Another good old 2 Dogs hide found on a perfect day to be bushwalking.
The name "Tumbledown Dick" is an old English term but I believe it was the name given to a large boulder blasted as a demonstration by the powderworks that briefly existed at the top of Powderworks Rd. There's an interesting and controversial history about that too.

Nice quick one after dropping off some stuff at Kimbiki Tip. A great short walk down followed by some thin bush bashing through burnt bush. I guess this means this one's survived a burn off?!
Nice big container, a bit wet though, found in pouring rain
Luckily it eased on our way back to the car. TFTC

We were visiting Kimbriki tip dumping 165kg of asbestos laden fibro so this seemed the logical cache to attempt. A pleasant walk followed by a 20-30m bush bash along the cacher's trail to GZ. Once there I stumbled around a bit as there were a multitude of potential hiding spots. In the end I should have let the GPSr settle as the co-ords were spot on. TFTC
