Second cache for the day. Tried to find the cache from the south but could not pass the rocks with 18 month old geo-nephew. Second attempt found us climbing down a steep cliff, on our our third attempt it was an easy walk up the beach.

Easy find but the cache container is in need of repair as it is shattered. All contents are still dry but container will need replacing.

I think I took the long way round! There were a few muggles about enjoying the long weekend sunshine, but I found the cache pretty easily without them really noticing me. Took an orange whistle, and left a gold star. Thanks Grank.

13:51 #3 find today. Again, this took a bit of figuring how to approach GZ but once I had the right track it was fairly easy to find with the hint given. A lovely spot to visit. Getting back to car parked above was a little tiring though Smile TNLNSL. Noted cache is pretty chockers.

Thanks for the cache Grank.

Our 3rd find of the day after work/school.
The hillside has slipped quite badly recently, but the cache has survived ok.
The kids took a wind chime for mum, and left a pot timer in return.

Thanks for placing this one in such a nice spot.

Found with Mrs Bent and Geopooch.

I used to live within 1km of this cache when I was 5, so great to make a visit back.

Hot day down on the beach, too bad not enough time for a swim.

Surf was up today, but no surfers to be seen anywhere [:o]
Bit wild and windy I guess. A great beach walk though Smile
Found the cache after a short search. The walk around the point to the south was especially awsome.... 'dude'...

Returning around the point (carefully), somewhat disappointed by the Dangerous Bay DNF, the trusty GPS indicated another cache in close proximity. Despite the lack of notes, Mrs L dived into the bushes and successfully retrieved the container and found a good vantage spot for watching surfers getting good breaks. TNLNSL

Had to go the long way to get to this cache due to rough seas and high tide. I thought I'd let cphoenix do the honors of retreiving this one after pointing to where it would be. I couldn't bare to see a grown man cry over not being able to find a cache everytime he was with me. hehehe Smile Not to mention he may never want to go caching with me again if he didn't find one soon.

Took - cowboy figurine
Left - fridge magnet

Quite a long walk from "The Dangerous Bay" when the short route is closed.

Am glad we chose the long way though as we may not have been able to return to the car parked at Dangerous Bay as the seas were big and breaking all over the short route.

At least we could escape the way we entered as we now knew of its existance.

Despite the effort, we were treated to some spectacular surf and I finally got the "honour" of finding the cache ahead of the pesky Bateau Bay Bandit.

Took the Star Wars cards and left a paddle game (That's a paddlin!).

Thanks for the hide Grank...lovely place.

14-Feb-06
Walked to this cache from the other nearby cache. Loved the rock formations and views. Gorgeous area, mother nature has done well in sculpting the rocks. Left travel bug and cowboy figurine and took keyring. Thanks Grank.

26-Jan-06
Aquick hop-step and a jump and this was No:2 for the day. Love the signs telling you these tracks are unathorised but a better maintained by the locals than the government authority.
Took a tape measure and left some Star Wars cards. Thanks for showing us a lovely spot.

Headed out with the kids on this one. They came in handy getting to the cache...just gave them a leg up. They were standing right on top of it, more interested in an old orange witches hat nearby. Late afternoon visit made it easier to retrieve and replace without being noticed. Left tape measure and Carrot #61, took bracelet and small wooden top.

29-Jul-05
Found and logged it the other day - dunno why the site reverted and didn't show my log....

anyway. Thanks Grank.

We had to walk by Great Walls of seaweed to get to this cache but get to it we did. We found it quickly (once i stopped standing on it). It was peaceful sitting on the rocks watching the surf. A great place for a cache!

Cache check and all is fine. Dropped off "Extreme" TB.

05-Mar-05
Found it after a bit of a slog along the beach (note to self, walk on the wet sand on the way back!).

Took the keychain screwdrivers, left a small spinning top turned from Jarrah.

Would have gone on to "A Swell Place", but the other Roses' tummies were rumbling, and overruled. Sigh ...

Cheers,

another great location.
2nd for the day.
no surf today, too much onshore breeze.
came in from the spoon side, well it just seemd the way to do it!
think i spooked another cacher ,as someone was lurking nearby ,and headed in the cache direction, after I left.

20-Feb-05
The co-ords put me straight on top of the cache. Forries is a great little area - we came in from Spoon Bay over the rocks and just took our time watching the surf. Banzai was not pumping today.

TNLN.

Thanks Grank
