We have been informed that the playground has been totally removed making this cache unfindable so sadly we will archive it and see what happens in the future.
Solve this a while ago, when the hide was still missing. Took till now to find my way back to Rippleside. Good to see that I was bang on the money the first time round.
Found this a few weeks back while taking the geokid to his favourite park.He loved this one TFTC
Found easily here. TFC.Happy to say this was my 500th find and also marks 1 year of geocacheing, woohoo
On way back from a lovely lunch at 1915 with ex work mates and thought Id do a couple of als and a multi or two. Thanks for the cache Team Crackers
Finally ticking this one off! Picked up with a group during a nearby event. Great effort completing this in x days. Thanks Team Crackers for creating for us all to enjoy. All good here. ...................................................The **Ballarat GeoTour** ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches, and earn the souvenir, before the tour is archived. Co-ords, quickly worked out and a group assault was made to GZ. Cache located and replaced as found. Thanks for placing
Out enjoying a special leap year evening event and a group of us decided to collect this one to aim for todays souvenir.
A group attack on this one while attending the nearby event. Thanks for placing for us to find
Gosh this one took way longer then it should have. At first we were sent to a location over 20 minutes away, but then rechecked the hints and coordinates and discovered a what seemed perfect place. Wrong, again. Finally after over an hour we did one last check and there it was. Thank you for the challenge in such a nice park and picnic spot.
A lovely original multi that was worked through with simplicity. I admit to only a quick scan at the objects for B, and possibly there have been upgrades. However, with what I counted and the minus needed in the calculations, my coordinates were right where the cache was! Thanks for the cache!
We dropped in today after a long break to find this one missing again. We have replaced it with a temporary cache until we can sort out another place to relocate it to.All good to go and please replace the rock as well so the cache remains in position.Have fun.
We came this way today to check this one out and it was missing. It has now been replaced.
We are interstate at the moment and will get to check this one as soon as we get back.
Nope. I believe I found the perfect sized hidey-hole, but its no longer occupied.
What a fun weekend.
What a lovely wooden playground here for the kiddos. Found whilst attending a nearby event.
Thanks so much Team Crackers for yet another cracking cache!
---------------------------------
I decided to stay in Bendigo for a couple of nights. Micaparamedic and I went to 3 events on Saturday (Melton and Bendigo), and today we'd planned to attend the two events in Creswick and the GeoTour event in Ballarat.... but then I hatched a plan.....
... I wondered if it would be possible to sneak in another event, this one in Geelong, prior to the 3 - 4pm event in Ballarat. Gary (micaparamedic) was up for it, and when I mentioned it to Jo (chooknchunk) she was keen too. WOO HOO! A ROAD TRIP within a roadtrip!!
The car trip was fun. Firstly I was able to be a passenger as Gary was good enough to be our chauffer, secondly I learnt things I had no prior knowledge of and ended up giggling so much I was just about snorting, thirdly, it is a cool crew I roll with.
After attending 7 Victorian events (including 2 CITOs) across the weekend, it was time to start my drive back to Adelaide.

We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the SouthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Multi-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Team Crackers for the generation of this nice cache Wooden Work 19 – One for the kids 7 (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Second DNF on this one. Looks like some works going on in and around GZ... We'll see what happens TFTC I'll be back...
After a recent DNF we called in here to find that indeed the cache was missing and we have replaced it with a film canister until we come through in a couple of weeks to replace it with a larger container.
DNF for this one, We looked at all the likely spots you would/could hide a cache around near GZ, Found the only spot it should have been, but empty also looked at previous logs for any hints. . Team Crackers.
Attempted to find this at 10:47AM on this Friday the 18th of November in the year 2022

Dropped by today to check on this one and all is good and ready to be found.
I can't tell you how long ago we did this, we think it was before my mum passed away. As there were kids around and lots of cars we didn't look for the final and have never gone back. Today we had to give the CO a call as we couldn't find the cache anywhere. Oops, the cache had had to be moved. Love this series. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
We were so close that it was a shame not to look for this. Unfortunately, it had been so long since we worked on this that it had had to be moved in the interim. This time there were no muggles and the only cars were ours so the cache was able to be found (after some assistance from the CO). Thanks for placing the cache and maintaining it for so long.
The original forecast for the weekend looked good so I teamed up with OzHockeyChick for a trip to Geelong to attend a CITO. Fast forward to today and the weather is a little more interesting.
Having finished the CITO we dropped by this cache to gather the details and find the cache. Geoturtle37 reached out to the CO for this one and we soon had some clarity and were able to log with permission.
Thanks Team Crackers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

A nice quick multi and while we were at GZ, we had 2 geocaching enquires.
One will definitely become a serious cacher, he already has the app.

Wasn't overly keen at first to do this cache being at a kids playground but after getting a cache on the city and the fact it was so quiet there I thought I might have the same luck here. Pulled up and soon had the GZ worked out as there was hardly anyone around on this side of the park. At GZ however it like Bourke St on Xmas Eve. Carpark was chockers and there were huge groups already set up with picnics, blow up toys and the like so I left it. Came back again this afternoon and things had quietened down and i was able to make an easy find as i had parked right at the cache. Thx Team Crackers, another of my 500 Oldest Active Vic Caches ticked off the list.

Heading to Point Lonsdale for a short holiday. Geokids stopped off to have a play at the park and geomum solved this cache. Looking forward to finding a few more geocaches around Geelong this week. Cache and log in good order. TFTC
After working out the coordinates, I was scratching my head about the hint. I guess it’s all about interpretation. Tftc
Lots of stealth needed here today. I have the best TOTT in my geokit. A geokid! We went for the let’s take selfies option and it wasn’t long before the cache was found and the log signed. Even said hello to a bin chicken who was unsurprisingly hanging around the bins! TFTC
Grabbed a takeaway coffee and sat looking out at the bay before starting this one, great spot. Found in no time
Nice and quick find!! The hiding place is also the home to some creepy crawlies so be careful when retrieving. Found on a beautiful night with noone insight
Having Just completed the Korean War Memorial cache across the park, we wandered over to have a look at this one. Always better when we are caching together as a single older man hanging around a playground is not a good look. We quickly had the numbers we needed and entered the appropriate coordinates into the magic how to get there box, and we were soon at GZ. We spotted the hiding spot but needed to wait for a few muggles to leave the area before retrieving the cache and making the appropriate mark before claiming the smiley. Thank you, Team Crackers, for this cache; that is one terrific playground.

Travelling down to Aireys Inlet for an annual weekend away with the families of my wifes longtime nursing buddies. I snuck out early for a road trip to grab some geocaches on the way.
Being solo today I gathered the clues, calculated GZ and deperted the inital coordinates quickly as all the parents were watching protectively . I calculated correctly for once and the GZ was an easy find
**Thanks for placing this cache Team Crackers**

A trip to Geelong and now on my way home. Spiffy- always comments how he has found the caches near here so today I decided to add my name to the lists.
Did the maths and GZ seemed good but the likely spot waa empty. Further checking found it was actually there tucked away.
Thanks to Team Crackers for the placement and fun.

Covid-19 restrictions are now lifted and Geocaching is allowed so it is back on line.
Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions Geo Caching is not a reason to be out so we are disabling our caches untill safe to enable again.
Please stay home and be Safe.

Nice quick look around at WP1 and I was off to GZ. It would seem that lunch time is not a particularly good time to grab this one, since the surrounding area was pretty muggle-populated and I had no chance of having a good look. Instead, I came back after dinner for a quick find after dark. TFTC
Keeping the streak going with a multi at a time of the morning where the wooden work is unoccupied. Another one in the series down with the cache found in good condition - TFTC
After a DNF and reading the previous log we came here to check on the condition of this one.
Happily it was still right where it should be, sadly some one has broken a lot of glass around GZ we thought we should move it to a safer location.
The cache page has been updated to reflect this change.
Happy Hunting

Came past today and the cache is now back where it should be and ready to find.
We have been extremely busy over the last few months but will check this one next weekend
Assuming my calculations took me to the right place (which the hint suggests I did), then it certainly looks like this cache has gone AWOL. CO action is therefore required here.
Found sign and coords quite quickly but after a bit of looking at GZ we couldn't find
Cool find but unfortunately muggles have knicked all the contents of the cache and was just lying out on the ground near the tree. 21/3/19
Came by today and replaced the log and re hid the cache where it should be.
All good to go.

HerIndoorsOutdoors and I were out and about around Geelong today. We had planned to have lunch at the Boat House on Western Beach, but traffic and parking were incredibly bad, so we picked up our fish and chips and headed to Rippleside Park for a bit of peace and quiet. When we finished we decided we had time to hunt for one cache and this was it, despite huge numbers of muggles around. The muggles weren't too much of a problem as they were all around the first waypoint. We figured we could at least get the numbers we needed if there were too many muggles around the final destination, but as it turned out, it was free and clear, so we headed down for a quick pick up. when we arrived we quite flukily parked right next to GZ and saw the empty container out in the open. We dropped a fresh sheet of paper in as our log and re-hid the cache where we thought it should be. Despite having been disturbed, the container was in good condition.

After having a lunch of fish and chips in the park, RGSBruce and I took the time to take a walk and find this cache. When we found it, the cache had been disturbed. The container was OK, but empty.

This was a quick and easy multi to do. Not many people around today, found the cache and took the TB. TFTC
Happy New Year 2019! Came down here on a glorious day after the night before because Eastern Beach was packed. I counted correctly for once, and found it quickly. Thanks Team Crackers
It was muggle central here today. Four busloads of school lids left and we decided to dive on the area. Then another tribe arrived on foot! Oh no! However we did make a careful grab. Cache is in good condition. TFTC Team Crackers
Knowing how busy we wre at this time of the year The Tritonz called passed here to check this cache out and we are happy to report that the cache is still safe and sound where we left it
Search all around the tree and the hint made sense but no cache was found and I would assume it is missing.
Found my first multi today yippee, on my way from work thought might give this a try and start my next virtual badge. Had me thinking for a while and looking in wrong spot but sat back in car to think and boom found it. Few muggles with dogs around so a little wait till grab back into car to sign Thanks
beckNmonts and I worked out the puzzles and signed the log. Thanks for the Multi-cache and bringing us here. Nice playground here.
Pwala and myself did some quick calculations here and soon had a plausible GZ. We followed a mother and child to the likely spot, only to have them stand nearby!!! We waited them out, and were eventually able to make the find undetected. Thanks for yet another great multi Team Crackers
Yet another multi ticked off towards our monthly multi challenge. Strolled over here after making a stop at the boardwalk nearby where we were able to quickly identify GZ and locate the cache (don't let the size mentioned in the description fool you, the size in the hint is more accurate). Log signed by the eldest geokid and returned as found, in good order. Thanks for this nice little offset multi.
Down here, staying in the area for a family 80th birthday. I was up early this morning which gave me the perfect opportunity to grab a few caches more around the centre of Geelong, before there were too many muggles about. While it was very cool to start with, it soon turned into a lovely morning.
After a DNF previously, when the garden had been cleaned up, it was a quick find today, with no muggles about this early.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks Team Crackers for placing this multi for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

After having passed the last bollard on the nearby wherigo I thought I'd try my luck at this multi. As I neared the wooden work I remembered that I had been here many moons ago and had a DNF. Unfortunately I hadn't electronically filed the relevant values or edited the coords so had to do it all over again.
Quick find when at GZ. Thanks for placing and keeping this one going Team Crackers. Odd that there is a three month gap between finds in what looks to be a very popular park.

0ut and about with 08151605 for a days caching on the east side of Geelong to clear up some unfound smilies.
Collected the numbers with lots of muggles around today. Thankfully it was a sit down find that we could manage with muggles around. Thanks Team Crackers

Finally got back to this one and solved it. Thanks for the communication with CO and a few attempts to go at it even 9pm but too many Muggles :)
Finally found a clear time and found reasonably easily.
Great cache Team Crackers and nice story about the construction of the play Ground
