02-Nov-07
Looked around in all the likely spots, even used the clue, but just couldn't find it

28-Jul-07
Nice quick find. Cache was getting a bit full so left nothing but took marble.

28-Jul-07
I was hoping to put a big dent in this series today and this was the first find at 7.10am. Still pretty dark so I fumbled about a bit before finding the cache. Thanks XF King.

24-Mar-07
First find of a 4 for 4 geo-outing. We had looked for this once before and come up with the correct coords, but had managed to miss the final cache. TNLN.

11-Mar-07
Found at 8:30am. Obtained answers to questions with no problems and found cache easily. The park was very quiet so had no worries about watching our backs. Took Diabetes TB, LN and SL. Thanks

31-Jan-07
Changed description to match new sign that has been put up.

25-Jan-07
Found this cache on our second attempt - no worries. The first time the sign was vandalised, so had to email XF king for clues.
Dropped off our Diabetes Travel Bug, please help it get home to Recanati, Italy, to help raise awareness of this disease along the way.
TNLF.

Found this cache today with Cach'n Kidz. Had to get some clues from xf king after the first attempt where we found the sign had gone missing.
Took - aeroplane
Left - winners medal
Thanks xf king for the cache and the hints.

20-Nov-06
Found this one at 16:10 on the way home from a game of ye olde golf at nearby Spring Valley, although I did have to read the clue to find it Red Face.

A very nice little park. TNLNSL, noted clue. Thanks xf king.

17-Nov-06
What a great little park, it didn't look like much from the road, and we were not too sure of the calculation (it didn't look like it went that far in), but it turned out to be interesting.
A nice walk and an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

17-Nov-06
Found this one right after a pizza for tea. Had a short wander through the park and found with little difficulty, unlike the next on our list.
Took a horse and left a chicken.
Thanks.

25-Oct-06
The sign at waypoint one is having a lie down but that's all at present. Worked out gz ok and then the clue did help find a nice hide. T marble, L horse. Thanks xf king - only a couple more to do I think.

09-Oct-06
Fifth and final cache of the day, found on the way home. No problems with the maths on this one but I did have to resort ot the clue as it was very well hidden. TNLNSL.

10-Sep-06
Second in a row for us with the sweet 16 series. Arggg, will someone tell me what I do with calculations in brackets!! Once again we were stumped by the calcs, and once again we found the easiest coordinate and then "walked the line". This time we decoded the clue to help and found the cache. I sure hope we learn how to do the calcs because there are few more of these to do! This sure is a lovely sheltered park to go for a walk.

Signed log @ 1245 hrs. TNLN

Thanks to xf king.

01-Sep-06
A stroll through the flora of Australia, such a pleasant way to wind down from the working week. Thanks.

17-Aug-06
Found at 3.20pm The last of 7 for the day. A great day out and a nice park to finish off. Found OK. No one around. TNLN Grabbed the clue. Thanks xf king.

29-Jul-06
Found @ 9:45. 2nd one for the day for this series. Hope to find some more today and finish the series off.
TNLNSL

14-Jul-06
Had easy success with the first Sweet 16 today, so decided to try our luck on a second, still heading towards Springvale.

Lovely park, especially since we were headed to Springvale looking for a caravan to take us to ALL of these states.

The kids enjoyed the play ground.

TNLN.

Thanks xf king for another Sweet 16.

14-Jul-06
Found at 4.30pm today after the clue calculation was done.Nice park with the Australian States all represented in garden form.TNLN and thanks to xf king for the park tour !

10-Jul-06
Found @ 3:55pm, fourth of 7 Sweet 16 caches this afternoon. A lovely little park with some great trees. My GPSr initially had me over near another area, where I found a mini-Maglite that works! That'll go into the caching equipment bag. Smile A reboot and I was able to walk straight up to GZ and find the cache easily.

01-Jul-06
Interesting to note the quantity of dog poo everywhere, looks like no-one ever picks up after their beasties here. Given my track record for stepping in these land-mines, I came away with clean feet Big Grin Nice easy find and was careful that were weren't observed and that I left the GZ scuff and footmark free.
T: dolphin, L: leather wrist strap (could be used for mobile phone, digital camera etc).

26-Jun-06
3.00pm
Found by Roma and Max.
We liked the way these gardens have been arranged with each section depicting flora particular to each state.
In: Wine glass marker.
Out: Friendship pin.
Thanks again xf king.
Romax.

10-Jun-06
Found this one without too much trouble but I didn't expect people walking their dogs on such a cold Saturday afternoon. The kids played on the playground and I sat on a branch and read a book for a bit while we waited for the muggles with dogs to walk away.

04-Mar-06
Found by ekkles and donkeybottombiter in the middle of the hot hot day. Amazingly, this well-established BBQ venue had no people, but a lone family who were just walking through. Very quiet and peaceful, but unbelievably hot.

19-Feb-06
Found at 4:42pm
2nd find out of 4 for the day.
I had the afternoon to myself after dropping the
family of at the Dutch Show so I had a change to
get a couple of caches in.
I needed to go to the toilet and thankfully
there was one in this well cared for park.
In:Deer, Out:Butterfly Eraser (& Clues), Signed Log.
Thanks XF King....Big Grin

30-Jan-06
Found at 15:31 in what was to be my last find for the day. An easy find and a nice little walk through the park.
TNLN.
Thanks.

24-Jan-06
Have been travelling through the area regularly so thought a look around was in order and what a better way than this. A great little park.
Found quickly.
TNLN
Thanks to xf king.

07-Jan-06
WHAT A DELIGHTFUL SPOT HAD PICNIC TEA . FOURTH CACHE OF THE DAY .

02-Jan-06
Cache 6 of 10 for the day. Found with hamishm.

No worries on this one. Coords spot on. Learnt that I have grown too much to enjoy the playground like I used to.

TNLN. Thanks.

02-Jan-06
Found today along with TeamTuba. Our #6 of 10 for the day, attempting to finish the Sweet16 series.

Found easily without checking the clue and without destroying the plants. Nice park although there was some graffiti unfortunately.

TNLN. Thanks.

01-Nov-05
Found by Bob at 11:10

Yet another delightful suburban park, and no mistakes this time - I came to the right one Smile. There wasn't a soul around on this Melbourne Cup Day, and the cache was an easy find.

TNLN

Thanks xfking, I'm nearly there now.

16-Oct-05
Found 15:00, almost made the same mistake as Geodes [B)] but realised our error when things didn't quite match up.

TNLN, thanks XFKing.

22-Sep-05
Whoops - my mistake - the 8 character name mangling by GSAK to generate waypoint names is a bit restrictive with the Sweet 16s - only leaves 1 spare character and I interpreted "Sweet16B" to be Botanical instead of BHP. Unfortunate coincidence that something had been bolted to a couple of posts at the BHP location, or I would have been inclined to investigate more deeply and discover my mistake Sad.

Sorry for the scare xfking

21-Sep-05
Checked out the sign today, which is still fully anchored into the ground. after re reading the last finders Email It seems they may have mistaken this cache for another. As this cache is nowhere near Bald Hill Park but I do have a cache in Bald hill park.

19-Sep-05
diabled until sign is fixed or replaced. I will check this as often as I can and re enable ASAP

18-Sep-05
Sorry to report that the sign at the first waypoint is missing. I could see where it had been bolted across a couple of posts, but it must have been vandalized Smile. I tried finding the park name from other signs at the entrance, but by checking the arithmetic, I guess that "Bald Hill Park" was not the name on the missing sign.

Sorry xfking

23-Aug-05
Found with relative ease, but a cut knee late at night. TNLN

22-Jun-05
Great little spot. Had to be real careful there were quite a few ruggies and parents around.

20-May-05
Found at 11:30hrs
This was nice and close to the "Show" cache so I grabbed this one too.
Quite a large park hidden behind some houses...
Thanks XF King.. I'm enjoying the hunt.

13-May-05
Quick find in a nice park. TNLN Signed the log.
Thanks for the hunt!
Yellow Jacket from Georgia

09-May-05
At last found some time to do the final 3 caches in the series. I loved this park and the state plantings. TNLN Thanks.2 to go.

30-Apr-05
Found at 4:00pm. Finally got back around to completing this cache as the last time we were nearby, the cache was offline. Must admit we enjoyed the quick trip around Australia in this well hidden park. Even when we were just over 100m away we thought that we were in the wrong place as we couldn't yet sight the park, but there it was and quite large too.

Thanks Xfking from D,S & A B-A. Took nothing, left nothing.

16-Apr-05
Interesting location. Hard to look inconspicuous. Took maxi band-aid and left animal sticker.

09-Apr-05
Found at 17:30 with Shimachic.

A nice easy find, although due to laziness and geocaching injuries we decided to drive to the final location. I know, that's really sad. Smile

A few muggles about, but we were able to conceal the cache without being noticed.

Took : Pink Bouncy Ball
Left : Sharpener

02-Apr-05
A walk in the park!
Found at 14:15
Put in rubber ball. took Turtle.

Thanks.Smile

23-Mar-05
Fifth of 20 finds for the day at 1205. The sign at the first waypoint has been uprooted, but is still present. However, this may be a problem for the maths when/if it is replaced. I did the maths and set off. I really liked this botanical garden, and thought the 'states' theme was a good idea. I found the cache after a short search. Thanks for the cache.

IN: Tortoise
OUT: Duck

20-Mar-05
The council has done a lot of work on this park – it is really very nice, and certainly the different states makes it interesting. The sign had toppled over, but it is still there, and I don't think the council will remove it. Swopped a rubber ball for a duck. Thanks xf king.

16-Mar-05
Found by sbalogh53 at 09:15 on 16/3/2005.
I knew where to look so walked straight to the cache this time.
Took: Dinosaur
Put: Marble and novelty rubber

12-Mar-05
A new cache has been placed.. Good luck.

09-Mar-05
With the recent log with a NO find, I went passed the Cache site today to have a check.. All I found is the hole where the cache was supposed to be.. Looks like this is my first muggled cache. I will put in a new one this weekend and chain it to a tree if need be..

Happy caching guys

09-Mar-05
NOT found by sbalogh53 at 13:00 on 9/3/2005. Sad
I searched and searched all around the GZ including around the funny object mentioned in the hint. I completely cleared the leaf litter for a few square meters. I felt like the local gardener! [xx(] But the cache was nowhere to be found.
I widened my search to encompass several similar funny objects around the calculated GZ but nothing there either. I gave up after about 30 minutes because there were no obvious places left to look.
Either I missed it, had the wrong co-ordinates, or it has been muggled.
I'll leave this one until another cacher logs a find, then I will try again. Razz

27-Feb-05
Found this one today, nice park pity about all the bags left from kids sniffing paint. TNLN,

Thanks XF King

26-Feb-05
Found by Mary & David at 1410. What a lovely park! We enjoyed the State by State plantations along the way, but were disappointed to see blatant signs of chroming by the local kids beside the path. All the sums worked and we soon had the cache in our grasp. Took a golf tee, left a starfish. Our thanks to xf king for the tour.

26-Feb-05
Found at 10.50am after a great walk in a very neat park. I think I like South Australia the best - maybe because it brings back memories of a fantastic trip we did through the Flinders Ranges a couple of years ago. As caught@work mentioned, there were no dramas with this cache and all worked perfectly well and the cache was found immediately.
Thanks xf king for finding this great place. tn/ln

Found by caughtatwork at 11:15
A 3rd cf king cache for the day and there was no confusion at this one.
Gathering the necessary information, doing the substitution and then the maths, I was off.
Short walk! As mentioned by others I think I passed 4 states on the way. Phew! I'm pooped.
The co-ords were right on for me today and the cache was in the first place I looked. Gotta love that.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks xf king. 3 out of 5 for today.

21-Feb-05
This is a very interesting park near where the older guard of Team Crackers grew up. This whole area was market gardens then. We have seen this park several times when visiting parents in the area but have never actually stopped. Thanks xf king for making us do so. This was our second of four successful find in the sweet 16 series.
Easy find, Took Nothing, Left Nothing.

21-Feb-05
Mr.Coffee's better half Shelby went out to find sweet 16 botanical and secured a FTF.
Thanks XF King for the cache, While I slaved at work, Mrs Coffee took it easy caching>
Regards Mr.Coffee

21-Feb-05
I found the initial clues and worked out where GZ was. Despite the cache page mentioning only a short walk, I had to walk past Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland to get to the cache. Phew, what a walk.

There were a couple of kids playing nearby with their mother, so I had to be careful while looking (initially around the wrong object). Once the GPS settled and I realised my mistake, the cache was found easily. No swap this time.

Thanks for the cache, and for showing me another great park.
