I strongly suspect this has been muggled. I have visited on two occasions over the weekend to no avail. I even went back to geocaching.com for additional clues, or something I missed. I found 12-15 (lost count) possible locations for the 'plug' but they were either straight through or plainly blocked with soil etc. A kids hut has been built here and I suspect that they, or the boozers judging from the quantity of bottles around the area, may have found the cache.
Can someone who has located this one please take the time to confirm it's location/muggled status? If it's still there, I am all for elevating it's difficulty status to 5 stars.

Spent a total of three hours here on two separate occasions. Not sure if it's been muggled again?
Been here once before but GZ was “busy†so couldn’t even search. Must have been lucky today as I had the cache in hand in about ten seconds. Great spot. TFTC
Ingenious! I doubt I would have found it if not for the eagle eyes of NZJamo. Was quite fun - the difficulty rating is quite appropriate.
A quick trip out on a lunch break today.

Think we may have found it but when we went to claim the cache we were attacked by angry wasps, decided that we were too far from home to risk it, will try again next time we are in the area!
I thought this was going to be a DNF, I searched for 10 min and was on the verge of giving up when I had noticed several "anomalies" within the rocks, and the name made sense, I knew what I was looking for then.
Spotted the hiding spot and cache was in hand. Not the first 1 of these I had seen but this one is a good effort, blends right in.
TNLN, SL @ 1840. Cheers.

14:43 Took a while to locate the cool cache. I found that bringing two friends helped prevent a Dnf. TNLN. Thanks for cache.
Found the bugger at last! You certainly need to be looking at it from the right angle to be able to find it. Cleverly done. Cheers Gav [2580]
I think I found it, but couldn't get it out. Is it possible the glue has set too well? Or am I just in the wrong place?

We thought we wouldn't have any trouble finding this as we have our own camouflage cache, but alas the heat got to us today and we had to give up searching, but next time we are in Auckland we will give it another go. We think we know what we are looking for given the clues, but our caching mojo must have deserted us in the heat

I finaly found it. Stoppped a few times after work (without GPS) and try to figure out the clue (a lot of rocks to look for without a GPS). Stopped again when I went for a run in the evening. Nice camouflage.
On a second trial, I finally found it after about 15'. Very well hidden and nicely camouflaged. I logged this cache at 7.10PM. TFTC!
Stopped here after our visit to the waitakere ranges (found 2 out of 3). Found the site very easy, but we didn't had the hint with us (only remembered the location) Try again another time.
Once we figured out where we were meant to approach it from me found the general vicinity of GZ pretty quickly. However, took a bit of hunting around before I noticed something a little out of place. Took my Dad on his first succesful geocache mission and he is now hooked I think.
Took pink castinets and left old 50c coin.

This cache had us so frustrated, it took us a couple of visits to finally "unplug it" what a great feeling of satisfaction. Out with the Diabetes travel bug in with a Vancouver pin. TFTC
Now this one I really did enjoy - a very cunning hide. This is what geocaching is all about, where the finding requires application of both intelligence and experience. Luckily, my GPS was quite accurate today, and helped narrow the location down to a few metres. Then I noticed the special feature of a few of the boulders - and the hunt was really on. Perhaps 10min search to find the prize, first spotting it from the opposite side!! Nice one!! + TB Unite for Diabetes - paperclip. Thanks and cheers from South Islander Grandalf(1027)
Woohoo! found it!. Spent ages looking on a previous visit with no result. Found in less than 10 minutes this visit after seeing something nearby that made me think and quickly realise what I needed to look for. A very clever hide.

4:13pm #2 for the day
Started looking on the wrong side. Kathy was up climbing on top before I had a chance to drop my camera and get a good GPS fix.
Found from the wrong side in the end.. saw something 'suspicious' and investigated from the other side. How did you come up with this place to hide!
Our GPS fix was about 1m off from the location.

+ Blue spiral notebook (There were only 3 pages left in log book)
We thought the plug clue was connected with the electricity sub station at first

Oh man. There are so many stories we heard about this cache. Stories of hours of search. Stories of "you have to do it". And so on. So we approached this cache pretty excited. The possibilities are really endless. But after 2 minutes, Rumo spotted something strange and voila - there it was. Hm, that was too fast. But a great idea for a hiding place and a greatly crafted container.
In the end, we enjoyed climbing around the heap of rocks - as you can clearly see.

This cache has been found by us before. We are travelling overseas and came to collect any TB's that needed a lift to new destinations. Took "Katie's Maryland Marauder" geocoin and will help it rack up about 7500 more miles in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
What a great cache bit muddy as it was a wet day took a while to find it well hidden Took nothing Left Goecoin
Last cache for the day... a very special one as it was to be XenaCommanders 400th. XC had commanded TK to STAY!! so he could sniff out the goods.
We threw out the anchor from the 4 wheeled rocket ship - two wheelers lashed to the stern for show only today.
XC was down the gangplank and away to GZ faster than a robbers dog..... TK padded quietly after and circled GZ waiting hopefully for the FETCH command that never came.... Spotted an interesting "see thru" feature then XC yelled found! XC was soon bouncing about with glee at his 400th find. Well done XC. A quick photo shoot to mark the occasion and log formalities attended to by TK.

Out hunting with the challenging TechnoKitten... Caching with here is always a challenge as she has perfect whiskers and paws to scratch out caches from anywhere..... mumble mumble..
This one is my 400th find and I wanted to be the one to find it so gave strict instructions for TK to Sit... Stay...
Pulled up in wagon just as rain started.. I quickly donned rain coat and headed towards GZ.. hoping to get a little lead in case she didn't follow instructions.
Found rock pile..... aaaarrgghh!!! this could take a while..
Think Commander... think.. hmmm lets see now..
Clambered over a few and saw a likely spot from behind and sure enough..... YES!!!!!!! found....!!
Yaaay..!!!! 400th!!!!!
TK was close by so revealed the hide to her..
Signed the log and left calling cards..
A great camo and perfect milestone cache for my 400th.
This game is such a good passtime.. each cache an adventure. Especially in the company of zany TechnoKitten... Always fun.

This was a tricky one but we knew what we were looking for after doing a cache hidden in a similar way in Adelaide (Possum's Place GCD153). Fun hide. TNLN Thanks
I couldn't let this one beat me. This is my second visit. The first with BaldEd when we both didn't find it but he did a few days later. He didn't give me any clues to where it was located (but that's siblings for you).

Second attempt (brought the whole family due to it being a public holiday) and my eldest son found it within 5 mins. It was hiding where I was thinking the first time we tried (but it had been muggled then).
On this visit the amount of foliage growing around GZ was considerably less making the cache location much simpler to find. Excellent camouflage and great hide.

I soon realised how the cache would be hidden, but whre took a bit longer or figure out. The GPS coordinates were spot on today and a well camouflaged cache was soon spotted. A nicely done little cache.
After reading the logs we were expecting a long hunt. But actually hubby yelled 'found it' after about 5 mins...yay! Good hiding place, very clever.

Couldn't find this last week so I brought fun2seek with so they could help. Found it straight away, but was not hidden correctly, just lying on the ground under a shrub. We have replaced it where seems the correct position.
Visited today and searched high and low. Found some likely locations that I would definitely expect it to have been in but alas these were empty. Made me wonder if it has been muggled - though from where I believe it would be I find that hard to believe. I read the logs and found the privet and the blackberries (ouch). I squeezed into most places and looked. I will return at a later date if I see someone has been able to find it after today.
Thanks for the hunt, I'll be back.

I'm back! 'tis 6 months since my last unsuccessful attempt. Found it straight away this time. Funny how bro (Tufty) and I never found it last time - but that was probably because our thoughts then were more on partaking some of the amber stuff at the end of a hard day's caching . Great hide. Mmmmm - the blackberries are getting closer but they're not ready yet to eat. TNLN. Cheers.
Looked, and looked and looked! Didn't find - I'm determined, will go back to check it out another day!

Our cache find #397, and lots of fun!
Actually fun and frustration, requiring medication for one afterwards, as the privet at the site caused some hayfever!
This is one clever hide, but we quickly realised what sort of place this cache would be hiding in - quite an explosive feeling as it was finally extracted. No-one was prepared to give up the hunt, so it took 30mins - trust that GPS - it is a good co-ord.

As this was the only cache we were attempting that day, we were so determined not to walk away empty-handed. We had a good idea of what to look for from the name and excavated quite a few holes before consulting the first hint. Well, that pretty much told us what we already suspected so we continued pursuing more crannies. It was getting dark by the time we went to the second clue...which again did not help us despite sitting, squatting, standing and assuming other acrobatic positions on top of the tallest boulder. It was not until Hopeful #2 clambered off the boulder that she found another unexplored hole. We then had a discussion on which would be a bigger asset for excavation: Hopeful #1's long reach, or Hopeful #2's waif-thin arms. As it turned out, both were unsuccessful and what was going through Hopeful #2's thoughts were all the horrible things that they would eventually pull out if the thing at the end was NOT a cache. Well, as those of you who have done it have found out, we were going about it the wrong way. Once we figured it out, we were struck with the ingenuity and delighted to return to the car dirt-encrusted, but satisfied.
We were a bit puzzled though that there didn't seem to be anything in the cache but the logbook and a pencil. Has someone cleaned it out?

Tricky. 5 of us spent half an hour with no luck. Will be back. Our first and only failiure to find.
Found it tricky to get to, being from out of town. Approached way-point from three different directions before finding it Had to use clue to find cache... sneaky. Didn't take anything but left a small tow truck.
Hunted, squat, peered, swore when batteries went flat after half an hour. Bought more batteries locally and another half hour still squatting & peering so gave up. First cache we couldn't find. din't want it tobeat us so will be back!
Tufty and I had to figuratively pull the plug on this one after a fruitless 20 minute search. To have spent any longer there would have made serious inroads into our available refreshment time. We saw many possible hiding places and checked out one very, very suspicious location at GZ but found that the cache was not there. Will keep a watching brief for the next log report.
Out with BaldEd but was unable to locate this one. We thought we had it in our hands at the most likely hidey-hole but no it was not to be. Spent about 20-30 minutes here.
Well what a well done cache! Very clever indeed! It was a bit wet and slippery and had to watch I didn't drop the GPS down a crack.. Didn't plan to go cahing 2day but you never know when you are close to one!!

Having read the earlier logs, I thought we might have trouble here. Once the kind of hide was suspected, it was just a matter of checking a few likely spots, and sure enough, there it was! Great fun, thanks.
Followed the clue provided and wondered why I was blindly doing this. Then I realised. What an effort mashnz had gone to disguishing this cache. Great work! TNLN
NICE ONE !!!. Hadn't intended to do any caching today, but we were so close again!!! When we got close to GZ there were people sitting on the rocks so we went to the store first, suspecting they were muggles. However reading the log I think they were another pair of geocachers. We were muggled by a man and two kids wearing bike helmets who wanted to rock climbing - but who would know, they too could have been geocachers but there was no tell tale instrument in their hands. Of all the times we have stopped at the store I have never seen so many people around this spot. Still at least the container is really well hidden.

Last find this time and whilst I had noted this location when I was last in town I was running late so i decided to do this on the return trip. Today was a bit of a failure as I was soo late but still decided to give myself ten minute to look at this small area. All dressed up to fly and a bit of caching must have looked unusual to the busy traffic on the main road but luckily nobody came to see what was going on. A quick find withjin my allocated ten minute and after a mere fifthteen I was on my way to the Airport again.
