GK had a look for this earlier in the week and since I had the day off work I thought I would have a look today.
I did find a ripped snap lock bag and a pen on the ground but we could not find the cache. Maybe it needs a check

Still there. A bit wet. There are numerous concrete circles. But once you hit the right one, you will find it
I had an opportunity to go to the South Island and take a week off work and do some caching while Mrs Yeetrees had to go to the ANZEG Conference 2018 which was being held in Nelson.
Day 4. Nelson. This was the second day of 4 that Mrs Yeetrees had to attend classes and lectures at the ANZEG Conference 2018, while she was doing this it was my aim to go around the CBD and nearby and see if I could pick up a few of the harder caches around the area. This included a few different types of caches rather than just hitting traditional drive by caches.
After finding GC1ZZPM - Wigzell (Nelson/Marlborough), this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to find today.
Arriving near GZ, I managed to find a carpark not too far from GZ , and made my way to GZ, I decided that I would take the direct route, but it wasnt the route that I would have normally taken, but the ground underfoot wasnt too bad and I was happy to make it down this way without falling nor slipping all the way.
Arriving at GZ and then I thought to myself where would I hide this cache, after thinking about it a bit more I soon decided to check out a spot, and soon spotted something.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back as found. Thanks SoBad for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13603). Got back to the car the same way I got down, and as I was leaving GZ, I noticed that there was a much easier way down[xx(], how sad [B)][:o)], Murphy's Law, always an easier way afterwards.

Lovely park, very pretty. Cache was out in the open so we rehid it best we cud.
Another lovely park - the only thing missing was a few seats. Dropped in some trackables, thanks for the hide.
Cool. Thanks swapped pen for rubber fish. Pen would not fit in the box so put it on top. Note it's only one meter away from circle not 5.
Yet another Nelson park/reserve and yet another cache to highlight it. Sure are lucky having all these green options close to the housing. No problems with the find and replaced as found.

It's been a few weeks since we came over the hill for a shopping/caching combo visit and with our in-law guests still away it was decided to head Nelson/Richmond. Usual rules applied; drop off mrs and Olivia in Nelson for a couple of hours - cache, pick up and drop off at Richmond Mall - cache. Pick up and return home. It works. I managed 7 caches on the first part and following a trip through Wairoa River Gorge and the aptly named Lee Valley I gained another 15 finds for a pleasing daily find rate of 22. Beautiful weather over this side, Blenheim had cloud all day apparently and good to see some new places; swimming holes and a chance to feed the local sandfly population some more of my blood!

QEF, in fact the cache was visible from 5 metres away...tried to cover it a little better.....tftc
Super easy find, but lots of hills to cross to get here. Found a couple unmarked paths to make a more direct route. TFTC
Cool find, have lived in nelson for over 10 years and never knew this park existed! Gotta come back and re visit
Lived in Nelson area for some time now and never been here before. Nice little reserve. Tftc
Rather concerned about this one, Murphy's Law states " there is no way you will find it". But I did.
In fact it was sitting out looking at me, so I covered it up and hope it stays that way.
Not so bad after all.
Thanks SoBad

Had a good look but couldn't find
Saw a cache pencil on the ground but no cache

A round the houses detour on the way back from the library. Have never been up here since we first arrived in Nelson so had forgotten all about these reserves.
The hint certainly helped and we were surprised by the cache container and the fact it has remained un muggled, so happy to recover it to deter prying eyes.

From Ohio, USA. Made a run getting some older caches.
Thanks SoBad for fun.
This is my 5117th find.

Not sure if this is still there.
Hint item has been felled, looked at others, no joy today

Again, Banian beat me to the cache. We had to look out for the muggle children (Yes, the muggles reproduce!) 20m or so from the cache. TFTC
The wee one enjoyed the swing in the park. Then we found this cache. Didn't get the hint about a concrete circle though?
This cache is one of those which always seemed to get bypassed for obscure reasons so tonight we decided it was time to make the effort to get a smiley. A fairly quick find in a very peaceful area and muggle free. TFTC.
A humid and warm night so it was better to be outside and get a smilie. I never knew about this park and good to see an 'original' still out there. TFTC
Popped by today. Swopped container for a smaller (200ml) one and put in a replacement log.
Easy find. Log was soaking wet. I agree with Chrisb34 that the cache has been muggled. Found a bag nearby that may have originally been for swaps as it did contain a pencil however bag was also full of rotten fruit which I've removed
We hope to check this in the next few days. Thanks paddle chick. This is the first cache we placed so would like to keep it going.
Decided to look for this one on the way into work this morning. Easy find although the cache was exposed, lid was off and the container full of water. Log book absolutely soaked so couldn't sign it. All sealed up again and rehidden but think this one has definately been subject to some unwanted attention
Confusing since there are 3 manholes in the park and after we looked in two of them for about a week, we finally noticed another manhole today. GPS may have helped! Our first geocache find for our family! Thanks for the engagement ring, it was a generous cache.
Had a bit of trouble with other detritus in the park with this one. DO NOT LOOK IN THE RED SOCK.
Made this our first for the day as a friends of ours was in hospital with the birth of there first baby and as it happens they live in this street great park but today was a little wet tftc.
I never realized Nelson was so hilly, reminds me of Wellington. Had a great day to wander around. TFTC
Our Golden Retriever Murphy would have enjoyed the park next to this cache. TFTC.
A memorable cache, the acorn that fell directly on my head. No blood, just a surprise.. Thanks
Good fun night cache to help on our way to completing a caching challenge. TFTC
spooky night cache, two males coming out of the bushes at night!! Very dodgy TFTC took geo coin
On a short trip to New Zealand in Nelson we were looking for some cache.

We came via the civilised approach - down the steps, a bit further uphill. A gardener was there mowing the lawns, but he stopped for a break, fortunately well away from GZ.
TFTC.

Found early evening before heading to New World for some supplies and 'refreshments'. TFTC
What a delightful park. Never knew it existed. Thanks, Jackie and Tess the dog.
Another cache with Sidewaze. Another little green area. Had to put our thinking caps on but it was a relatively quick find. TFTC
Nelson sure has its share of reserves - - and round bits of concrete!!! Anything that can go wrong will go wrong but that's not SoBad with trusty GPS at hand.TFTC!!!
Took the easy way down the steps onto the park. Everything still in place which isn't bad if it's been there over 4 years. Thanks Alien Kiwis.
Covered in leaf litter so clue helped. Must have just missed Beanso. No bank scramble required as there are great step access at both ends of the lovely park. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
GPSr took us straight to GZ .... A quick find, just as well as we could feel the steamy breath of Navfam heading our way!
Cache container fine with log and pencil but rather empty. Will top up swops in the next couple of days.
Found this cache in the fading light. Being under tree cover, it was getting dark and harder to spot the cache or appreciate the more subtle features of the area. TFTC.
A couple of quick caches after checking in to nearby accomodation. there was only so many options for this one and it ultimately came good. Thanks sobad
Thanks for resetting this cache. Easy find on the way home from Mucking In. TFTC (162)
This cache has been reset very close to the original position with a smaller container.
