Made contact with Crystals who confirmed that they had the right coordinates - and there was no cache.
I'll archive this cache, but may set up another one using a similar puzzle.

Thanks for the report.
I tried to contact Crystals but mail was undeliverable.
I'll disable this while I decide whether to replace or archive and do a new one with a different GZ.

Am sure we were in the right spot esp the cryptic evidence about "logging the find". Searched the whole item and not found although can see where it probably should have been. ? been moved as per before.

Did my year 11 chemistry homework when we knew we were travelling that way. Then arrived at the cache area to find a nice spot for eating our lunch. Cheers. MODU.

Worked this one out a few weeks ago back at Oakbank, where I had the periodic table info in my box of tricks, but had to use a bit of intuition with C and D. Must have been correct guesses as we found the cache no worries. A nice spot, but a bit too hot to hang around long today. Took the banana, left a red finger puppet thing. Thanks Bunya.

Wasn't prepared for this one but took a stab anyway - found the courthouse easy enough and by the power of deduction (and knowing where the creek was), I guessed what A was and B was always going to be close enough anyway - once we got to the general area it was pretty obvious we were in the right spot - seen lots of kangaroos on this trip but haven't run into the Skippy that seems to have travelled around the same area just a day or two ahead of us - TFTC Cool

An easy puzzle cache. I took a guess at "a" and didn't know "b" which didn't really matter. I had some trouble looking for the Old Courthouse. found it by going to the intial coords.
What a foul smell here today.
Took Wabbit and Left Giraffe
Thanks again Bunya

Was passing by so checked the cache - just as well!
The cache box was right out in the open.
The log book had a muggle(?) log which said they had left some chewies in the cache. I suspect an animal smelled these and tried to get to them. An excellent example of why food items should never be left in caches!
I removed the offending articles and re-hid cache.

Found after we corrected a tiny little assumption that we made. Which, ironically, put us in another ideal place to hide a cache in Laura. Looked for some of Miss Wibble's ancestors while we were there (Miss Wibble's grandfather was born here). No pepper trees near there though, so we knew something was wrong. Took nothing and left cache kit. Too early for icecreams unfortunately!

Did my homework before attempting this one.

Now, the thing is Bunya & B, you say:
"When you find the cache, don't forget to log it under the pepper tree!"

This was like those clues that say "it's under a rock" while you are standing in a paddock in front of a huge pile of rocks.

"under a pepper tree" indeed. But which one?

Found this cache when I was still a member of Beakers Bunch.
Thankyou

Thank the lord for modern technology. We were able to phone a friend to help us with this one. Once in the vicinity of the cache it was a fairly easy find.

Thanks

Thank goodness I still had the old chemistry books at home is all I can say! Once clues were worked out all went well. Cache is in good condition. Took a fish and left a water pistol & some smileys. Cheers.

came prepared with my matriculation table of the elements.
this came in handy. pity my greek is so poor though.

anyway after not too much fuss we found the new cache box and it was still nice and dry after all the rain the day before. nice little spot too.
thanks Bunya and B.

took : lizard
left : buggs bunny and ear plugs

Checked cache today and found that it was wet inside. I think the problem is that Golden North icecream containers have a little channel around the top which collects water which can then seep in. Replaced container with clip-top plastic box.

Passing by the area I thought that we would look at the first location for a start. I had no idea of the atomic order but could only recite the first 20. How about we look at all the Pepper trees here? Another guess and a bit of deduction and we went elsewhere. Too much of a clue as we found it. After doing a jig I signed the log. TNLN

Worked out the position of the cache from past knowledge of the area and a subtle guess based on the clue. Co-ordinates spot on. Lovely cache in a lovely area.

17-Jun-05
Wasn't completely convinced I had the right spot, but the clues gave me the confdence to search a bit longer , and ultimately sucessfully. TNLNSL Cheers.

Big Grin Our introduction into geocaching. Tricky one, had to do research to solve the clues. A good way of seeing the town as we took many a wrong turn. Eventually discovered our prize with much dancing and cheer. We chose the little 'Zipperz' car and left Ozzy Snoopy to look after the rest.
The Cheerful Ronnies are on the case......heeheehee

15-May-05
With the help of the cheerful ronnies (who did all the leg work and solved the clues) and after taking a few too many bridges into account found this cache - great, onto the next one

25-Mar-05
Good one - able to stretch the legs while on our travels to Wirrabarra. Took candle and left car. Thanks Bunya and B.

10-Mar-05

A nice quiet place to rest and take in the harmony - of the pigeons, galahs, boys and sows. I love to whistle a happy tune. I also took the TB Goin Back to School. Can't seem to get away from this so I'll see if I can lose it again Big Grin. I left a screw driver and took a can opener.
Thanks Bunya, clear skies, TeamAstro.

Dropped in TB Goin' Back to School for those of you who need to revise the Periodic Table.
