Reasonably accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a very well constructed cache container. So we were surprised when we opened the cache - the logbook had been quite wet at some stage, is now dry but very mouldy. The logbook is almost full. This cache could certainly do with some TLC. Thanks Cruzzinaround for the cache.
A nice straightforward find, good quality container.Last night was a later one, arriving into Nyngan about 10pm or so. A nice mild night and birds chirping quietly through the evening. Another nice day but cooler now, still warm and pleasant, unlike yesterday's hot almost 10C hotter. Stopping at the towns as we pass for ALs and caches is a good way to see the sights and recall past times. We have an event to be at this evening in Orange, so we were well placed. Of course caching time is a different time, so another full day despite the short distance.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga, Ceduna, Lincoln National Park, Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta, Broken Hill & Orange.TFTC. Nice quick roadside grab.
#7945Day four of our Southern NSW trip. Heading north, Wagga Wagga > DubboAn early start today and some maccas for breaky and were on the road, targetting whatever DTs, attributes and types and LGAs we want! end of copy paste Nice quick find here, luckily as it was veryy dark. Certainly not T1, probably more like a D1/T2.5. TNLN SL, log in bad condition but container is fine. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Cruzzzinaround
#7945Day four of our exploration through the region, aiming to find more LGAs between Bega, Cooma, Tumut, Wagga and Dubbo. Were starting the way home today, driving Wagga to Dubbo, well cache until we run out of light or energyFound by torchlight log is mouldy and not signed that's 231 old caches now, 69 to go....Thanks for the cache!
Very boggy on side of road, wear boots if possible. Log is a bit damp but still in okay condition. TFTC!
Easy find, got a wet shoe though. As mentioned before log is damp and turning black. Could still sign. TFTC
School holiday central NSW road trip with the kids had us here on a wet morning! An easy find thankfully! Cheers for the cache
A great looking container, but still log and container are damp and turning black. Needs a CO visit to fix this. TFTC Cruzzzinaround.
A quick stop here for us on our drive today from Cobar to Cowra. Some menacing clouds overhead, but also some lovely patches of blue. Hopefully no rain while we are driving. We found the hide and added our name. Thanks CruzzzinaroundDomsky
Find# 11183Nice very easy find. Cache looks bomber-proof, so I don't know how the content got damp.TFTC Cruzzzinaround 8 May 2024
Mrs Jacko jumped out of the car and quickly located this one o our way back to camp.TFTC.
Returning home from a rushed road trip to QLD, we have been stopping for the occasional cache which encourages a break from driving. This was one of the caches that we found, although I think the terrain level might be greater than a 1.Thanks Cruzzzinaround for the cache placement.
A quick little side trip on our journey home and it was time to get this older cache on my smilie list.
Stopping for a few caching breaks on the way from Sydney to Broken Hill.TFTC
Brilliant little cache, just a pitty it was very soggy and mouldy, needs a good clean and notepad replaced,I could do at another date if they needed me too, have left as is for now.

A quick find on our adventure over the mountain. The cache is needing a little TLC due to water damage.
Thanks Cruzzzinaround for place the cache.

I found this one quickly I found a trackable in it and I'm going to take that North.
Looks like it needs a new logbook it was a quick and easy find thank you very much for the placement of this container on this backroad of Australia

Easy find but undergrowth is high. Log book is a soggy mess, I've put in a temporary one inside a baggie to keep dry until someone can replace it with a better one. Dropped TB, hopefully to continue on its journey around the world If you grab it, please log it!
Heading north and took a quick detour to grab another oldie. Log is a mouldy mess but managed to sign with my all weather pen. Tftc
Found on way back from Dubbo. Log is damp but able to be written on carefully

Heading home and picking up a few caches that I left in the way north (mainly to start on the new souvenir).
This was the first and a quick diversion off the main highway. Once I found a park I headed across the road, jumped across the drain (it is wet!) and quickly spotted the hide. Got an old one in good condition.

Truck pulled in behind us, preventing us looking. Drat, because it would have been another LGA for us. Alas, have to keep on moving south.

Once again im back up in Parkes for work.

Not one best attempted by heading straight into the bush across the road! Better off walking along the road a bit - lots of moisture still from the recent rains.
That out of the way, quick find was made
Cheers

After a week with family for Christmas, it is time for this Queenslander to head north. A few stops to break the drive - and to pick up new LGAs. This one fit the bill for Narromine. A quick find, over the raging river with dry feet and no issues at GZ.
Thanks Cruzzzinaround for entertaining me at this location.

**Today**
Driving between Griffith NSW, to Warwick QLD today! The most amount of km's I have ever covered by car in a single day before, over 1100km to be exact! An early 5:30am start with a 5:30pm arrival it was a full 12 hours of driving with limited stops. We managed to stop once in every LGA / county to grab the easiest and quickest cache for stats. 10 caches all up over the long drive, its been a long time since I added that many county's to my map! Especially in NSW!
Thanks to all the CO's for hiding caches in outback NSW for me to find!
---
**This Cache:**
A quick turn off the main road to grab this cache for the next county, parked on the opposite side of the road and ran across for a quick find. Love this type of container, built for the conditions and lasts a lifetime! Great cache for a country road trip
Thanks

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I based ourselves in Parkes and its surrounds. Following breakfast, our first stop was CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope, which was our highlight. We then proceeded north via Alectown to Peak Hill, where we walked around the old mining area. We then returned back to Parkes driving a loop via Tullamore, Trundle, and Bogan Gate, and we used the afternoon remainder walking around Parkes and completing the *Welcome to Parkes!* Adventure Lab.
We drove all the way north past Tomingley in order to find a cache in this LGA, before then looping west. This geocache was a kind of oldie 03/2005 hidden cache. This cache turned out to be a quick find, although it is definitely not just a 1.0 terrain rating. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I do love these container types. Thanks Cruzzzinaround for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.
