Once the penny dropped and we knew where the cache would be we searched carefully but no cache there. All gone.
Tried to find, but no good, looks like some work has been done by the council in the area, may have gone.
Would suggest fellow cachers do not use GPS co ordinates as off
Stand back survey the area and think about the clues
Yes the cache is there
First log in new book
Took our Tbs along for the find
Enjoyed the timber carvings, view of the river and also the local bakery

Prefect weather day, drive to south coast loop from sandy bay to south hobart via taroona, margate, kettering, small towns, huonville, ferntree for light caches with geomum. short walk to GZ from little parking, disappointment DNF for me today as definitely spot no cache there... [;(]
We struck out on this one today. Our GPSr's put us in the middle of the grass so we widened our search area considerably but the very wet rain didn't help our spirits so the hunt was maybe a little half hearted.
Only spotted when walking in the right direction. The TB was not present. TFTC robtas
After running out of time two days earlier and with a pleasant weather prediction, we headed off to do the caches that had been planned for the previous trip, plus some more. But it took us so long walking and searching that we ended up still being at Ranelagh after 1 PM and bought lunch at Summer Kitchen baker. It advertises as an organic business and the food and coffee were tasty.

GPS on top of it but brain absent! Loved the sculptures tho' so thanx for taking me there anyway.
While visiting Tasmania from South Australia we had a day out down south of Hobart and on the way to the Hastings Caves we stopped for a stretch and found the first of many carvings that we would see during the day. The cache was an easy find for snowone; however we had to keep giving the geokids clues on where to find it as they kept overlooking the hiding spot, it was like plaing geocaching "hot" and "cold". Thanks robtas for a nice cache found by the HGL Clan (HGL Jnr and Little Miss HGL) and the snowone clan.
Geokids were very slow today. Stood on top for a long time

Wow! Zop found this one with no GPSsr. He is a wonder to me sometimes. I think I am his secret admirer...but don't tell him that.
Wow! C-MNM must have really distracted me - Although I found the cache, I not only forgot to have her beam it to my GPS, I forgot to even ask her!
Nice quick find after a mocha down the road a bit and we're now off up the mountain!
Sorry, no trackable in this one...

On arrival at GZ the was a hairy skate board muggle sitting on the nearby seats so we decided to leave the motorhome at the parking and wandered through town. Very nice town . At the corner of the road back to GZ we noticed the specials board of the restaurant and that look YAMMIE. Salmon and Brie springrolls 2 of my geowife's favorite dishes. I went for the Crayfish chowder and it was fantastic. Once we paid we took off and had a look for the cache and admired the statues. The cache was well hidden but we found it reasonable quick. Hiding it again took a bit longer as a guy turned up admiring our motorhome. I have him a tour around and geowife did the hide! TFTC robtas.
our last one for the day. We had visited earlier in the day but a BIG group of people were having lunch here. Following an afternoon shower the coast was clear so while our coffee brewed we went hunting. Found eventually although not where we thought it would be based on the clue - also quite exposed.
Anyway, as we should, we returned it to the same place but with a bit more cover. TFTC

Great one. Almost gave up when ds8 yells out "found it!!" Took coins and replaced with marble, badge, squinkie and scitech souvenir (WA) Tftc!
Inadvertently parked right in fro not it. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
Couldn't find it, but we're both new to geocaching so it may have been us! Beautiful sculptures though!
Found without too much difficulty , down low, with Silk498 love the wooden sculptures would have missed them without geocaching ... Thanks
Found it after we had a ride on the Jetboat. GPS was a little all over the place, and when we found it eventually, didn't really understand the clue.
Liked the carvings!

Found with Geoson Rexamite after a reasonable look around in the rain. History carvings are excellent. TNLNSL TFTC
A quick find in an interesting area. Love the carvings, a great way to make huge stumps useful! TFTC
Called in on way back to Hobart after visiting nearby air walk. Lovely spot to stretch the legs and admire the woodcarvings. GC nowhere to be seen. TFTH.
Thanks - found after a big family bike ride and fish and chips! Took the only item, a "well done" badge and left an eraser. TFTC
Having called at this one before but couldnt look due to muggles in a camper van, but upon returning while heading back north we could search now and after 5 minutes the cache was soon in hand.
The hint was of little help and my GPS was about 3 meters out but we found this well hidden cache in the end.
Thanks for the cache.

No 4 of 5 today. Enjoyed the carvings and the information plaques. Don't know if the cache has been moved slightly or the wood removed but the hint isn't right anymore. TFTC
gps had us in the middle of the lawn :/ put a little swappy in there for whoever finds it next
Hi robtas
Checked on this cache the other day and it had gone; the Council had a clean up in the area and must have taken it with them.
I just replaced it with an cammoed eclipse tin and put it behind two small pieces of wood.
All good to go again
Cheers OldSaint.

A great day for eldest ClanMember to find a few caches on her 78th birthday. TFTC.
Lovely, peaceful place. All quiet here today, and the cache was soon in hand. We left out mark in your log and we were on our way. TFTC
Interesting wooden carvings. It was pouring with rain so the kids refused to get out of the car, leaving me to do the dash. Luckily its an easy find.
A beautiful spot that I had never visited despite visiting this town regularly TNLNSL
Managed to finish up work mid afternoon, and took the opportunity to grab as many caches as I could in daylight before returning home to the Mainland 2moro. This one was spotted very quickly, and with not a muggle in sight, the cache was grabbed, logged and returned in no time. These carvings are fabulous and what a superb location to have them. Thanks so much to robtas for the cache and for highlighting this spot.
Missed this as we came down the highway but luckily we had to take a break here so was able to do a quick jog back along the river with our friend to pick this up.
I love the amazing reflections around here. A quick find but I had to pretend to be taking photographs. A good disguise! TFTC.
There really are some talented people in this would, great carvings
Thanks for the cache and bringing me here Robtas

Found at 11.20am Today we were out with the xambo4u's to make the trip to the air walk. A little caching on the way was in order. Turned off the highway here as we love woodcarvings like this. Quickly found the cache then inspected some more great art work before heading further south. TFTC
