We came to Mt C for the earth cache and after taking in the views went to see what the storey was with this cache. We had a little trouble with the co-ords but expanded the search and then found. The existing log book is in a poor state so we dropped in a new log sheet complete with plastic zip bag. We completed the signIng duties and re hid. The needs maintenance can now be removed. TFTC

While visiting this area with my nephew Wild Tui we found this cache stashed on the beautiful Mt Canobolas but the log book was too wet to sign. I have taken a photo of myself and Wid Tui with the cache for verification and can be emailed to cache owner upon request. TFTC TNLN
Had an hour or so between appointments on a business trip so decided to head up Mount Canobolas. For anyone considering whether to make the trip up or not, in my opinion it's well worth the drive. Do be careful though on the way up and back.
Found cache but did not sign as too wet.

Found on a trip out NW with the family camping, showing and caching. After seeing something dash away I wasn't too keen on sticking my hand down there so I got a stick to ferret around with. By the time I found one long enough whatever it was had some out again into the sun. I fished aorund for a while before risking a grab with my hand. Got it on the third try and after all that the log was too wet to sign.
Thanks Team Bluedog.

Easy find on this warm fathers day, been a while since i have been up here the views are still amazing. No sign of the TB logs need replacing as they wet but was still able to sign the log. TFTC TNLN

A very cool area...so glad we made the effort to come on out here during our day in Orange.

What a great place. Wasnt to cold up here today. Couldnt work out the clue so had to keep on searching until finally found it TFTC
The container is intact, but the log is wet and mouldy. Maybe a new log in a zip lock bag. Would have done it myself, but as we are on holiday from WA our full kit is at home, sorry.
This is a great spot for a cache. misread the clue at first and searched in the wrong spot. Of course the geowife was standing there and said isn't that what your looking for. Well at least I finally got it. Log

We haven’t been up Mount Canobolas for many years so we decided to go for a drive, take in the beautiful countryside of the Orange region with its orchards and wineries, tackle the “Mount Canobolas State Conservation Area” earthcache, and pick this one up too. It was a quick find as the container was visible as geoson and I approached. Once I had completed the signing duties, we replaced it with a little more cover. The logbook is pretty damp but I was able to sign it. Thanks Team Bluedog.

Whilst visiting the mountain on a fathers day outing, I took the opportunity to round up a few caches. After playing in what was left of the snow I made my way down to the GZ with my daughter and quickly had the CIH. The cache contents and log book were soaked. I would suggest replacing the container with something more waterproof. It was a spectacular day to be up here, the sky was clear and the views stretched as far as the eye could see. TFTC
Found on a gorgeous autumn's morning, with no clouds and a temp of about 25C, after a spell at the top admiring the views and getting the info and photos for the EarthCache and TrigPoint. Geokid7 and I walked down and searched the rocks, eventually finding the spot with the iPhone showing 5m. Didn't leave anything due to the dampness. TFTC!
Lovely mild day, minimal wind, partly cloudy, beautiful views and peaceful. Cache v damp, may need some tending. Tftc.

We are staying with some friends at Bakers Swamp and took them caching for the first time. This was our first cache for the day and the view is fantastic. TFTC
Went up the mountain for a drive and to watch the showers in the distance. Found the trig easily enough and headed down to this one for a quick find. Logbook wet, old logbook mouldy. Needs some serious maintenance.

Found on a cold and snowy day on top, it was September!! found with baggey draging scouts around the area TNLNSL TFTC Took TB to ensure it keeps moving!.
Found after coming up for the nearby Earthcache.
As noted by other loggers, the cache is quite damp and really would benefit from a new container. Possibly a 1 litre sistema or similar. It also needs a pen. It is quite big enough for one, but none in evidence. I attempted running repairs using a ziplock bag, but it really needs more TLC.
Left a lost penguin (Helen's bug). I hope it is cold enough up here.
PS No sign of the other bugs that are logged as being here. I hope I didn't make a mistake leaving another one.

A nice brain chilling 1 degree morning, with the sun trying to battle through the mist. Quick, easy find, we very much enjoyed the view. TNLN, TFTC.
Found it after a quick search nice and clear day cold and a bit of snow around LNTN
A quick find in such a fantastic area. Was not expecting to go caching today so didnt even bring a pen to sign log. TNLN thanks 4 the cache.
Found with theromulans on a foggy windy freezing night. Left a travel bug... but its the only one in there. The inventory list is way out of date
Took a detour when returning from the west, having not been up the hill for about a decade. Littlest geokiddy wanted to find something, so a quick check with the iPhone indicated a cache nearby. Found it without difficulty (although said geokiddy tried to fall into a drain in her enthusiasm!) but not having planned ahead, found it without pen nor swaps on hand, so the visit went unrecorded in the cache. (No writing tools are in the cache.)
A little bit tough to find in the gusty wind and 15m (at most) visibility on this crazy Saturday at dusk. But we did, thanks Dropped off my travel bug friend from Luxembourgh too - seemed like an appropriate place for an adventurous bug

Found this one with MandaJ. Was in Orange for the night to see the wonderful Lior perform at the Orange Conservatorium of Music. Was such a great show. MandaJ had been to this cache earlier in the day and confirmed it was big enough to drop off the travel bug i was helping to hitch a ride. We headed up after the show at about 10:30pm. It was dark, windy and a little chilly. The cooler temp was a welcomed relief after such a muggy afternoon of driving then caching. Could see a lightning storm off a way distance to the north east.

Was almost able to drive right up to this one. GPS said 8 metres to go when we got out of the car and we spotted it with 4 metres to go. This must have been our quickest one of the day while we were caching in the area today.

An easy find on one of our regular trips to the top of this mount. Thanks for the Cache!
its been a while since I have been here, and I remember sliding down the nearby slope when I was young and there was snow here, good to find at least one cache here, didn't have any joy with the other two nearby caches, parked about 6m to the GZ to my surprise, Took Geocoin.
that evening I thought I lost the coin so returned here the next morning to search for coin.. no luck but on return home found it in my backpack doh...
thanks for the view and the cache.

With the family at the lake I looked for the closest cache to grab. This was it and they hardly knew I had gone. They were ready to go home when I got back so the day was a win win day for all.
Crossed off a date with a few today. I had never been up here before, and if my logs were looked at it would be seen that I have been fortunate to have seen some great views lately. A great mate budokan will always say you can never get sick of a great view. Enjoyed this cache. Thanks.

Well worth the drive up here for the great views, as well as the cache. It was about 13 degrees and cloudy this afternoon.
Found at 1230. Parked in the designated car park and made our way over to GZ, and whilst we spotted the hide straight away, we initially missed spotting the cache, but a second look moments later revealed the cache was actually there......just a little further in.
