The two little bunnies went for a morning walk with Dad to find this little hotel. Parked at the apartment block nearby and found some trails that made the going a little easier. Good coords led us straight to the hide and we collected the tiki tb for further adventures. TFTC.
It was a lot of fun finding this cache, thanks & great job My daughter is a natural at finding these thank goodness Thanks again
A wander along the foothills to find this cache just prior to sunset. Cache is in very good condition.Thanks.
On Our travels we were staying in Alice and did the hike up to the cache to drop off a trackable l, thanks for placing this cache
This was on the list due to its age and was a bit of a bush bash for us as I'm sure we picked the right route, a very nice container too. I dropped off a TB with a write note on the day.
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

We were unsure where best to access this cache from . We parked behind from units and made the trek from there using almost imaginable paths through the long grass. Spotted by SSR as we approached. He dropped off a TB
Thanks WaddlesK
Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Quickly found this aftrr descending from the the other cache nearby back to the car. Thanks for the cache, didn't have any trackables with me.
After wandering along the ridgeline from top red centre and grabbing the cache at the top of heavitree gap, I made a slightly less steep descent and then headed across the base to this cache. It was great seeing the rock wallabies along the way. I wish I could move as fast as them. An easy find and all in good condition. These PVC caches are so good. TFTC
Only spending one night here so couldn’t do much caching but it was great to come here. Greetings from Kentucky USA.
A quick visit between showers (it started raining as I was driving out of the car park). I decided a walk along the Todd was going to be the best way to avoid the worst of the long (buffel) grass which made for a fun walk up to the cache. The hotel was unoccupied but I'm visiting a number of travelers for a visit and a look. (Within 12 hours of my visit the Todd was flowing.)
Thanks for the cache WaddlesK.
Thanks for the cache WaddlesK.
I strolled over to gz. The grass is over knee height and the prickles are bad. This cache looks like it under water at some stage. All the soft toy trackbles are very wet and the full bottom logbook is soaked and growing mold ( removed ) but the new log book on top of every thing is just a bit damp. Stamped new log book and took trackabkes. Nice to see a TB hotel that is UV resistant, i do like a PVC pipe cache, thats what i use. fav point.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to WaddlesK from mogni

Thanks for the cache. I in town visiting and decided to fit a cache or two in. I really miss living here.
Me and my friend were looking for ages and we eventually found I love geocaching
Alice Springs to Adelaide Roadtrip
Day One: Alice Springs.
Today I flew to Alice Springs and picked up the van.
The weather is hot, so no heroics today; just a few useful caches in and around the township.
This was a hard T2! It’s hot enough that any contours are draining, the grass is thick and lush, and the sand on the riverbed is soft too. Cache appears to have the original logbook, which is awesome. I took one of the four TBs.
Thanks WaddlesK.

Took advantage of a cooler day to get some caching in. Great spot, sadly no travel bugs here and I had none to leave. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Getting some of the backlog done on caches that were found with ilook4geo. Some were found around Alice and some were further out. There was no problem in finding this one and the log soon had two more names added to the list. All was then put back as it had been found. Thanks for the cache placement goes to waddlesK.
Checking out some of the caches on offer around Alice Springs with goingplaces2. Cache was found, log was signed, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Our last day in Alice, so a quick caching on the way to some shops and refuel. It has been a good vist.

Total Cache Finds 11633
Easy find on an early morning walk from my hotel before heading home from this beautiful land tomorrow.
I was keen to get this cache on out last visit to Alice Springs, but time ran out. Today was the day. We made the trek and found the cache but it contained no Bugs. I had none to leave either. Great spot for a cache, though the land around here needs a CITO.
An early morning walk bought me to this cache. What a beautiful peaceful place it is in all good with the cache, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks WaddlesK for placing it here.
Well this was an easier find than the last hill climb I did.
I notice that the 2 TBs in the inventory are not at this location.
Last log book entry was on 8 Nov 20 so maybe they’ve forgotten to “adopt” them.
Oh well.
Cache is in relatively good condition.
Visited 3 TB.

Walked up a bit of a hill and found a cache. Nice. The cache was found in the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Cache found after a short walk. Noice spot.

Nice walk on such a lovely day it is only 26 degrees today making it ideal for caching in the area. I left two travel bugs as the name of the cache suggests this is a good place for them to check in. TFTC
Quick find-people camping in a green tent nearby wondering what I was doing-tftc
My first NT cache. No trackables but a very cool area to explore and alien to someone like me from way down south. TFTC (pen is a bit dodgy but I had one of my own)
Phew what a hot day I chose to climb up to this cache! It’s pretty hot out on those rocks, but nevertheless, I saw quite a lot of wallabies hanging out up around ground zero. I will attach a picture of one. Thanks for the cache - my first since moving to Alice for work, and hopefully beginning a trend to get as many as possible before I head back to Melbourne in a few months. No TBs today, but great idea - now I know where to stash any I find on my travels around the Outback. TFTC!

Tftc nice view once you hike up the hill a bit. Wear appropriate footwear, some of the rocks are pointy!!
Walked here from my nearby hotel. I really enjoyed this cache as the other traditional I have done so far in Australia have been in cities so this is the first time I have found a cache off track. A straightforward find and I took a TB. Thanks for the cache. Favourite.
It was an rather easy hike in the afternoon. Somewhat cooler and no muggles. Found the gz easy and the container? Dropped a TB. Tftc
1st find in Alice. No one else in the group I am travelling with is really interested in my hobby. So I had to find at least one. Hard going in sandles but made it.
This is a nice and well hidden cache near the Todd river a ‘swam’ back across to go back. Picked up TB. TFTC
Such a shame. Soloroadknight, Sinclair83 and I (MurielG) found this cache together. It was Sinclair83 first find. Soloroadknight dropped Lizzie trackable in this cache. It was his first trackable transfer, so he was very excited.
Goodbeard found this cache 29/5/19 and let Soloroadknight know that Lizzie trackable has escaped.(thanks for letting us know Goodbeard).
I have 2 trackables MIA and hope that one day in the future they might come to light as Lizzie might one day too. Poor Lizzie.

Left Lizzie to sunbake on the rocks in Central Australia.

Hier war heute ein schneller Fund möglich, der Cache selber lag ohne Tarnung frei in der Landschaft, ich habe ihn wieder mit Steine zugedeckt.
