***** REVIEWER NOTE *****
Hi PortnStarbd
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me by 21 October, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,
Zero Gravitas

WHERE IS MELMAN?!? I know some giraffes are on the endangered list, but this is ridiculous!
Nice cache - the dogs were not impressed they had to stay in the car. But I told then hey, with a giraffe on the loose, you'll better not get in the way.
IN: GR8 NZ Road Race Civic TB
Two mini biners
OUT: packet of damp batteries - see if they still work.

Really lovely area, I'm always amazed at some of the public places like this that the smaller cities/towns have. Think we might have been driving the wrong way around in here as we got some funny looks [:o)] tends to happen when you are following your GPSr. Great cache container, must get one to put my lunch in I think.

This is our first find. My wife and I enjoyed the task, signed the book and left to seek another another day - probably Taranaki way this weekend. Pondering on what to put in our cache and where to put it!. Logged visit.

Took my father out to teach him the ways of a cacher! Hmmm, think he'll need a few more lessons.
Found after finding some clear skies and working backwards.
Picked up the TB but sadly only had a small coin to put in.
Great cache and good location for a walk around.
Cheers

We detoured in to take a look here and have lunch and what a great day and a great place. There was a hive of activity along the road with cycle races in progress.
My wife who was tiring a little of caching was delighted with the spring daffodils blanketing the hillside where we stopped.
An easy find for me and I returned to find lunch being served.

With family, found after being led a little astray by the GPSr and trees. But really the only place to hide it!
A great location, been here so often on family outings, never to this little quiet corner of the reserve. Thanks for bringing us here.

What great gardens - never knew they were there, a credit to the area. Noticed that the gates shut at 5pm not 6pm in the winter.

It was a beautiful sunny day for the first day of the school holidays, so off we went. A few people picnicing and playing games and we enjoyed our little walk to the cache site. Not too difficult to find.
