Well, after spending the morning looking for suitable footwear to make my new attempt on fearless, I arrived right on 1:45, Nic was gunna kill me, she wanted butts on seats by then. I arrived as a bently rolled away and I thought shit, I've missed it, dammit!

I went back to the car as i did not want to be a gate crasher. Then I noticed people still going in, so I snuck in using muggles as cover. Found some people looking suspicious and sat next to them.

Dave did not even look nervous, Nic looked stunning, and the buggers kept the signing of the logbook for themselves up on the stage!

I am glad I attended and I wish the both of you the very best for the future!!

Yes, I actually turned up for this event!
Failure to do so would have meant the end of life as a I knew it!

Thanks to all those cachers who made the effort to share the ceremony with us, it was most appreciated Very Happy

"Steve" got lots of funny looks. The official photographer thought it was something of great significance and started snapping away! Steve even made it into the video footage several times!

The caching action didn't stop there though. During the reception dinner Bushrat Ziggy slipped us a card saying "Here's your present". It was a set of GPS co-ordinates! So before desert, EcoDave, ZijerPhil, and BestManMuggle grabbed the eTrex, a torch, video camera and headed out into the darkness. BushratZiggy was on hand to point and laugh.
Princess Fiona, not exactly dressed for caching, wanted to watch from the balcony if the cache wasn't far away, which Ziggy said it wasn't.
Punching the Goto button on the eTrex had the cache 500m away!
Dressed in our best non-caching clobber we headed off into the darkness hoping no one would notice half the bridal table missing during dinner!
10 minutes later we had the cache and our present nabbed, well hidden in of course the last place we looked.
Dessert was a welcome relief after a 1km caching trek!

Is that die-hard caching or what!

Photos to follow.
Video of the cache hunt may be available in a few weeks.

I attended this one solo as Mrs. Riblit is still recuperating and managed to arrive before the grand entrance.

I took a seat near the usual suspects and watched the spectacle unfold. Dave was his usual unflustered self, the bridesmaids looked great, the groomsmen dashing and the bride spectacular.

Words were exchanged, rings were found, lips were locked (a few times), the logbook signed and EcoTeam became... EcoTeam. Images can be found at the usual place.

Seriously, it was a very good ceremony and I wish you both all the best in your life together.

What a pleasant way to spend a glorious Sydney afternoon.
Both bride and groom looked great.
Best wishes from the Odlids

What an Event!!! It had it all, romance, adventure, weird looks, and "Steve the Bowling Ball TB"

Nic you looked fantastic, Dave as cool as always, the bridemaids great and the flower girls utterly cute.

Got a few looks when Steve appeared for photos, those guests in the know got a good chuckle out of it.

And no I didn't scare the Muggles.

My sincere apologies for not replying to this earlier...

My system project went live this weekend, so unfortunately I could not be there... I should have posted something earlier however...

I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I enjoyed my wedding... and I hope that you have many years of happiness...

After not thinking we would even get there, we arrived just a little late.
I snuk in via an alternate route ( no relation)
and was at the ceremony in time to see the most important bits...
it was a great day,and a great ceremony.
Left: nothing,
Took: an old car tht was blocking the driveway! he he!

Capt. Chaos as Capt. Chaos will unfortunatly be as Capt. Chaos is.
That is: enjoy your day, all the best, but I will be underwater as vows are exchanged.

Hopefully at least one and possibly all the Odlids will be in attendance.

We just came across this new and exciting event-cache posting and though we'd truly like to attend since we have a real appreciation and a special place in our hearts for fellow cachers posessing a sense of creativity and whimsy, we must send our regrets. You see, we reside and do most of our caching in the Syracuse, New York area of the U.S.A., and after checking our bank account, we sadly find that it is not in the best interests of our budget to withdraw the funding for a quick trip "down under". However, we do send our most sincere congratulations on your pending nuptuals and wish you both a long and happy life together. Best wishes!

We will be there, and we will finally get to meet some fellow cachers.

Geeze, I come back from a 10 day holiday and nobody looks like they are going to come, well, I will be going.

As unfortunate as it is - this blind mouse is unable to attend. Returning from Newcastle we have done an Oil seal in the forester and it needs replacing ASAP.

Have a great event guys and I look forward to the posting on many photos please.

Congrats Ecoteam. Unfortunately the Wombats are otherwise engaged (we're really maried) and can't make it. I wonder what the first married arguement will be? Should we do this last cache of the day or go out to dinner?

Anyway all the best from the Wombats and may there be plenty of Ecoettes arriving to continue the persuit of Caching.

It is with regret that The Fairy Godmother and The Godfather will not be able to attend this auspicious event. Our thoughts are with you and we hope that the day goes well and it will be a "happily ever after" event also.
You did pick a good day as it is the Godfathers birthday that day.(shhhhh he is 49).

Congrats to the EcoCouple! Unfortunately, I will be in Perth pillaging caches, chucking frisbees around and turning 26, and will be unable to join the celebration of your new found tax benefits. Wink

I'm sure you'll have a brilliant day!

I reckon there is a good chance this Blind Mouse can find my way that far. I chat to the 'Minister of War and Finance' and see if it will be a family affair (Minus Bronzelets). Either way we will post our RSVP.
