Shouldn't attempt this one on a gorgeous autumn day at the weekend - muggle central!! Also as this cache has been muggled and put back by geocachers, is it now in its original hiding place? We will attempt this one in wet miserable weather!
Very obvious find, left in the open, log book a bit damp from the weather. Left in a slightly more challenging place as intended.
Found it on top of a rock, muffles must have found it. We placed it back where gps suggests.
Tftc took some looking while muggles in camper vans slept on. Found with Groat45 tftc
12 noon. Arrived at GZ. Muggles not a problem but being visitors from a snake free environment overseas we probably didn't put the thoroughness into the search amongst the rocks we otherwise may have. Beautiful area nevertheless.

After a couple of attempts being thwarted by too many muggles, we snuck back early this morning to get this one. Geokid was willing to clamber and found it after about 5 minutes. The log is quite damp, but otherwise all good.

Nup. Did not find this one amongst the rocks with dodgy GPS readings. It was hot too. Any excuse lol
Coundnt see an x anywhere with four of us looking for half an hour May have been muggled
The GPS was not going to play nice today so I did a bit of rock jumping and reptile photography while it got its shit together. Found easily enough, I just wasn't high enough to begin with. Lots of muggles, but as always they are pretty blind and I don't usually dress in bright colours. TFTC
After a while we found the bucket.

Spent a good 30-45 min scouting around thought it would be a great spot to drop my trackable
Slightly wet day with no luck finding the X or the cache.
After a short look around, muggles turned up. Will try again another time.

Didn't find the x didn't find the cache spent some time then couldn't be bothered thanks for the hunt
TFTC X found by youngest in our group! Took a really cute little toy plane, left a million and two dollars in compensation for it.
I gave it a go, but there were so many potential hiding spots I had to give up in the end.
We found this cache relatively quick, but found the decoy first!

Good hide , took some time to find the x but once found it was quite easy to see
Geo Junior and I are on a Terrific Tassie Trip so naturally we had to find a few caches to help us find our way around an discover a bit of history and local information. Thanks to the people hiding the caches. Tracked down cache but not at all sure about the reference to X.
Finally found it! On our second go for this one. Spent hours here the first time scrambling over rocks in the rain only scoring a massive thorn stuck in my hand for all our efforts. Thankfully this time was more fruitful. Found the decoy cache first and then with a wider search saw the makings of a X. Redid the X a little as it had faded a bit. SL took TB whistle and left scout badge. TFTC!
We walked up from the basin to grab this cache. Definitely worth it to see all the enormous ferns around the place! Left TB to start its journey. Thanks robtas
Found it after a bit of searching... However we didn't see the X until after it was found!
Needs a bit of remarking I reckon but easy enough to find with a bit of luck.
Found a cache that said "This is not the cache, but you are close ..."
But didn't find the actual cache ... so felt guilt for logging the find for the red hearing cache.
One on the dnf list...

TFTC! X certainly does mark the spot. Not a straight forward find, especially considering the Optus 3G was saying I was 200 metres away! But we got there cheers
We left this cache to last while at the Gorge, since the car park had been busy when we arrived. We found what I presume to be the remains of the cache, fitting the clue exactly. The rock had the kind of marks I often see on sandstone when it has been used for a hide and often moved aside. The container was damaged and had nothing in it. So we put a piece of paper with out names in it. This won’t last long. The cache needs maintenance.
#1572- This was our last of four in the gorge this afternoon after arriving from Hobart. Again, we expected it to be our last for the day, but it didn’t turn out that way. We found the remnant of a container, which seemed to fit the info, but with nothing in it- so the TB’s may be gone. We’ll contact the CO and see if our suspicions are correct. Signed a bit of paper and popped it in the container and rehid it where we found it. Thanks.
Talk about perfect timing!! Pulled up in car park and was able to grab the last parking spot, get out, find cache, sign log and be back in the car and ready to go before anyone else turned up. TFTC
Thought this would be at the top of the gorge, but it was soon evident that it wasn't - so came back down and found another path to the car park! Sat on a rock munching on some grub whilst waiting for the cars to go. Then after a short hunt I spotted the pot. TFTC x
Found after work, it was a good time only had to wait for one muggle to move away. Thanks Robtas
Quick and easy find in a very muggle prone area. Geokid went climbing the rocks and came back down with nettle stings - luckily we were prepared with ice cooling our beverages and the ice quickly cooled the stings and we were okay to keep caching. Thanks for the cache
Can't believe I found this one!! In totally the wrong place this morning and couldnt get near it ; then reached this carpark out of curiosity about where the road ended up after finding another nearby cache....checked the GPS and lo and behold it was 80 metres away. No one in cars so sat on a large rock and used geo caching eyes to look for (well disguised) cross on the rocks. Having located it I then wondered if I really wanted to put my hand in that hole....but of course I had to sign that log!T4TC
Found after geo-missus saw the cross.. Mmmm ? The logbook is very full & very damp. Could do with a new one .
A great cache found after coming across on the boat for the Australian Orienteering Championships on the East Coast, during some sightseeing before heading off to St Helens.
Carpark was nearly full when we arrived. Made a fairly quick find but then afternoon tea must have finished and half a car park later we were able to rehide the cache. No TB's present as listed. TFTC
Out and about In Tassie for a few weeks on holidays collecting caches. Quick find in a great area, thanks for bringing us here.
Took a tb.

this one was a problem child of mine for awhile but not today round by my geowife nice hide t.n.s.l
Back for a visit but it took some time to locate this time. I think I had a class of keen kids to help me last time. TFTC again
Found it! Well hidden and we had to move off a couple of times as people came past, took a lot of looking around. Signed the book and put it back.

Sadly we ran out of time to complete this one. Saw some beautiful blue wrens in the carpark though. TFTH.
Couldn't find the cache, but did find lots of very small leeches. Needed to check our shoes and socks after abandoning the search.
Too many muggles and too many rock crevices. Need to return at a quiet time as the carpark is known to be an area for break-ins and to loiter whilst muggles move off is likely to alert suspicion and invite a police visit!
No joy with this one. The hint wasn't any help, and unfortunately I didn't have the photo with me, so could even check that. I'll need to make sure I'm better prepared next time.
Visiting from the UK with my brother, arrived to find Squash2 from Geraldton, WA...good to meet with you... just starting their search, curtailed as they had to find accommodation. We decided to view the gorge first and look again on our return to the car, which proved successful. Took the TB to move on, thanks for the hide.
Found it, although the hint was not as helpful as it could have been. Fortunately reasonably early on a day so not too many muggles watching. Took a doll figure and left a TB. TFTC!
Lovely spot. Have been here a few times but this time was able to search. The terrain rating throw us a bit so after an initial search did not turn up the cache we expanded the area for some more rock hopping a little higher and then spied the cache. SL and replaced.

Took a while to find. Had to pass the guardian of the cache (peacock). Forgot pen so has to improvise with a stick and some homemade mud. TFTC. Now I know where the free parking is. Fabulous spot for anyone to come to. A must see place for locals and visitors alike.
This was my first cache took a little while to find it as I wasn't sure what I was looking for but now I'm hooked.

What an awesome spot! Be careful of the muggles. New log but no pencil, will have to bring one back. No good swap but left Simpsons fridge magnet and an Asian queen figurine.
