Pretty straightforward on a New Years Day afternoon. The human watchers were nowhere to be seen, but the cache was guarded by a little lizard. Left Jake for someone to water, feed and move on. Left a blue star as well.
I was wondering what the references to "private keep out" was all about and went and checked and see a new sign has been erected - so keeping with the guidelines this cache will be archived.
Joint effort with Mightybent. We returned to this one twice because next door muggle was fiddling with his car. When we did have it in hand he appeared again. Good cache.
After a couple of drive buys where we could the neighbour outside we returned. Just as we spotted the cache the dog started barking and mate next door came out. We quickly signed the log, returned the cache and were on our way! Thanks Grank.
Team GPS.org.nz Cache Raid: Not a problem with muggles at night, but we were cencerned about the Private Property sign right outside GZ. T4TC, M@
Found with the kiwi team on our great Australian caching tour.
As noted by rest if the team, a bit concerned about the Private Property sign but figured we would find first, ask questions later.

Did this at night as we were a bit concerned about the 'No Public Access' sign right next to GZ. Hmmm. Is the cache publicly accessible? Cheers Gav [3249]
This was a great challenge due to the open area to the road and the house close by. After some scratching of the head the cache became obvious. Signed the log and returned it just before the neighbours arrived home.
Took Australia sticker – Left bag of mini crystals

Great relatively easy find. Went there about 7am on Sunday morning. No sign of the neighbours and no barking dog. Phew! Was retrieving the cache when an early morning power-walker approached and gave us a funny glance. Tried to act inconspicuous. Dah dah dah... ho hum... Cache log signed and returned safe and secure.

#382 - easy find. A friendly neighbour gave a the history of the grave and related buildings, as well as some other local gossip. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache
This one has always bugged us on our visits to the area.
But under the cover of darknest the find was quick.
JABs.

The noisy dogs looked at us so we just had to do what we were supposed to do - quickly grabbed the cache, swapped the "Lucky coin" towards a dinosaur. Put the cache back and drove away.
Came across an extremely noisy couple of dogs nearby! Was a little perturbed till I read the notes and found they know about it! Interesting read in the notes about this. Took 50 asian coin, left hephalump. Thanks for the cache. Last time I went near one of these Geocaching was actually in St Leonards GRAVEYARD! Yes there is one in there! I felt funny looking around in there! It was funny after though and there was no one else around though.
Thanks for the cache. Woyboys.

It should be obvious that the cache is not inside given the stiffness of the iron gates, but that didn't stop us from trying to get in before realising the error of our ways, I got the geo kids out quick smart and left things as we found them, before trying some other places and eventually coming up with the goods, TFTC
Since my DNF I have been informed that no tresspassing required for this one, Will give it another go shortly
Turned up at location and discovered the infamous barking dog others have mentioned.
Noticed in previous log that someone has refered to opening and closing the gates.
Did not do this as BIG COUNCIL SIGN STATING "PRIVATE PROPERTY KEEP OFF" ???? bit confused about this.
Not sure I will do this again without confirmation that I am allowed on the private property
Had tried for this yesterday but there was no chance with a nearby neighbour mowing his lawn. Decided to stop off early in the morning before making the tortuous drive north on the Pacific Highway on a public holiday. Unfortunately mr bloopy got a bit too up close with some unfriendly dog poo nearby GZ. Lucky we had a change of clothes...TNLN (except a nasty smell!)
The dogs did not stop barking... I feel sorry for the people of the house. Took Awesome Rome geocoin Left chinese holy coin TFTC
Neighbours out and didn't return till after we had found and signed the log.

Great piece of history.Used the curtdog to head on in while the rest did some distraction.Well done!T magnet L tape +tb
No amount of stealthiness would have helped on my first visit here as a local kid rode up as I arrived and had a plethora of questions about me, 178 and why it was a heritage site and the meaning of heritage. I took my leave and returned 30 minutes later having already located the cache on my first visit, but unable to retrieve it. It was quickly logged and returned safely.
nice easy find for a lovely sunday morning, took along a friend, Harlus, who found his first geocache!! Took the matchbox car and left shrek ear torch, TFTC!!
found it, with caleb(and his brother), the neighbours(or landowners) asked us what we were doing we just said "nothing", and quickly put cache back, just got it back...(watch out)
TNLN
P.S. maybe grank should move it...

Found it.. but felt very very sneaky. The neighbours (or are they the land owners!?)were home so I felt very exposed. Dogs barked and the guy came out to yell at them, I smiled and nodded and continued to pretend admiring the brickwork and fence...hehehe.
When I found it I dashed back to the car to sign the log. Returning it was the difficult part!! This time the guy was on the driveway and then sat in his car for a while - so soon as he turned his head, I quickly put it back and dashed back to car again. They must have thought I was absurd! Took nothing, left stickers. TFTC Grank!

Nice little location, no muggles around but a very insistent dog. It was an easy one overall (mostly because there weren't many places to hide a cache) minus the gate that took two of us to pull and shut. TNLN
4:41pm
Not hard to find, interesting thing to find like this. Signed the log and continued towards the coast.
Cheers

What a great piece of history. It was amazing to think that this is in somebodys yard. But then this sort of thing is in Samoan yards everywhere they don't have cemetries. Thanks for a great history lesson, we would definitely not have found this without geocaching, and I am pretty sure that a lot of the locals don't know it exits. Well done.
3.30 another great spot on our holidays, places we would never think to stop at Thanx. Scenic Routers
Stopped by on the way home from the Geocachers Picnic. The dogs on the nearby veranda were going nuts at me and the intermittant "shut up"s they were getting from inside the house made me feel a bit too conspicuous. Had a quick look in a couple of spots on the side away from the house but didn't come up with the goods.
First of the day, on the way to the Cash On Demand event, what the Muggles next door must think is beyond me doing this cache undetected takes a lot of effort, TFTH. IPFAC. TNLN.
Found this one after looking confused and getting out some paper maps to make the woman next door stop looking at us suspiciously (usually the 5 year old is a good cover story - the boy is car sick and needs some air!).
Very easy find once hint was read, thanks Grank! Took frog, left Tassie keyring.

A nice easy find (with the clue) in an interesting and historic area. Feels strange with a house next door!
Staying up the road at the caravan park.....not recommended! Whilst a nice area, we felt very uneasy here as the locals were not friendly with fights and swearing all hours of the night. The community on the otherhand were quite friendly, even though there was a big soccer match on nearby.
Thanks for the good cache, and the brief history lesson.

Easy find and in the company of Shifter Brains. We were able to do this one while there was no one around. Took mints and left magnets. Thanks guys.
Finally got round to doing this one and so close to home. Found with Liz and Bruce. Well Bruce found it and we were there for cover in case the neighbours came out. Thankfully we were left in peace.

I had to walk away from this one as the female neighbour was very talkative, even with my story about using the location as car rally spot she wouldn't let up about this here and that there, in the end I had to go. As it turns out I was probably looking in the wrong spot
Been meaning to get to this one for awhile. Was easy enough locating the cache and retrieving it, but it took me 20mins of waiting around to replace it without anyone noticing. Definately should have done this one early morning or evening.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for the cache

This place kind of reminded us of a trip to Fiji. Over there, there are many sites like this on the side of the road. BTW, it is quite possible that we are related as Hounddog's family once owned most of Point Frederick.
No I am not going to do any of the jokes that relate to such a place they have been used far too much in the past and show no real imagination.
My first cache! Not bad without a GPS (yet). I have often wondered what this placee was when I drove past but never ventured in to have a look. The clue was very helpful, (with a small hint from Pesky as to location). Took a couple of mins to find which made it interesting. Very clever spot.
Thanks Grank. Looking forward to finding more of your caches soon.

Another virgin. Found very early on a Sunday morning walking to the shops to get the paper. Easily found but took 10 minutes scrabbling around trying to get the bugger out. Lucky there wasn't much action at that time. Replaced the container not quite as far back as found. Can push it back if required.
When I was a boy (here we go) ALL this area was orange orchards. The only habitations in the immediate vicinity were Hely's original house and a dairy where Brian Hilton now stands (a further story can be found about that but lible laws forbid me from going further here).
Anyway TNLN. Thanks for another Grank.
