Lunga vita a lei. Una firma e ritorno all'auto.Ciao e grazie. #11029Departure from Dunsbourough towards Perth. As always I prepare a list of interesting caches to look for along the way. This is one of those. We park in the parking after a U-turn on the highway. From there it is just over 200 meters but there is a fence to climb over. After some hesitation I see that a sort of ladder is set up to cross the barbed wire and be able to reach the cache without problems.Box found in good condition although its venerable age can be seen and felt by touch. Long live her. A signature and return to the car.Hello and thanks. #11029
We left a tassie devil stubbie holder and near by we found a long neck turtle and named him cool dude and he moved fast
Brought a whole bag of stubby holders to put in this one unfortunately not able to fit any in. The ones that are in here currently have sadly grown mould. Great idea though. TFTC.
Me and young bloke found this today, nice bush walk to locate! Swapped stubby holders, signed and replaced
Not quite sure what the issue was with someone logging Needs Maintenance. All clear.
Day 3 Of our WAGB22 adventures: Another day to collect some more smilies, see some beautiful scenery and some little hidden gems only known by the locals and a catch up with fellow geocachers . What a full day . Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Day 3 of caching our way around Bunbury and surrounds for WAGB22. Ive enjoyed the variety of hides down here. Thank you to the COs for placing these caches out here for others to enjoy. Apologies for the generic logs.
Beautiful place - nice walk

After starting my geocaching today at 4:30am I had 11 first to finds. There being no other new caches out I needed another to make it a dozen finds. I looked towards this cache.
I parked up at the suggested waypoint and looked for the trail, but only found it once I was practically on top of the cache.
The cache was found after a short search. It wasn’t at large as I was expecting. I also noted that one of the stubby holders has suffered from the summer heat - it’s glue has run and is now stuck to the cache container and other items in the cache. The log is good though and has my name on its pages.

So many spider webs out today. They seem to be able to create them in mid air. Nice walk. TFTC
Three beautiful days in a row and my third day out exploring Forrest Hwy. I am surprised how busy this road is.
Navigating waist high grass at the start of snake season! Why not!!
No swaps, plenty of stubby holders here.
WA1968, Morgo the geo found South West Stubby Holder Cache today. Thanks for placing and maintaining

This log is going to be very hard to write without a swear word or two, so here it goes.
Shit! Lots and lots of shit.
The only way to dodge the cow sh@t was to stand in some kangaroo sh@t. In fact it would appear that this park is a sh@t museum. The cows and kangaroos are clearly trying to out-sh@t each other. What’s funny is that we did not see a single cow or kangaroo on our walk across the park but we saw all the sh@t which had been laid out by vintage including today’s delivery.
We stopped trying to warn each other where to step and just burst out laughing that we were knee deep in sh@t. There was no point dodging the sh@t. It just had to be embraced. We were in a rental car so we hope we don’t get billed for sh@t removal.
At least we could see why so few people come out to find this cache when there is a rest stop so close. If I haven’t said it already, it’s the sh@t. In fact the sh@t makes it a lot of fun and this should be visited by more people. Mums and dads, let your kids come out for a play and run in the sh@t.

Found easy enough after pushing ones way through spiky grass. Wear shoes if you head across the way I went. I also lost a GoPro mount somewhere on way to GZ, but the find was easy enough. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1500. Clouds of vampire mosquitoes lay in ambush at GZ. Two caches for one parking spot is always good value. Enjoyed the walk as some needed exercise to break the drive. Our thanks to Team Prado - WA 1968.
Barnzy12 and I had a huge plan today starting bright and early with a 515am meet up at Cockburn gateways shopping centre to drive down to Busselton together for the Canada Day event on the oceans edge there at the iconic Busselton jetty.
We arrived at the event just in time to see the sun rise. An interesting side note as we drove to the event we noticed an information side near dalyellup that mentioned the temperature as a brisk 0 degrees!!
We had a great chat and then moved on to the Canada Day event in Bunbury where we had a lovely hot drink and met up with the Bunbury regulars there having a good old chat before we agreed to part ways and Barnzy12 and I went caching around the suburbs of greater Bunbury before collecting a few more caches on the way home.
Good caching weekend overall with 20 plus finds and 2 events attended. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Short stroll though the paddock getting funny looks from the cows but awesome spot. But God soooooo many spiders to get to the paddock from the stop.
Cache is a little full of stubby holders otherwise In Good condition. Had to find a way in from the rest stop on the highway and avoid all the spiders but we did it!
Are we mad or what? After our epic day in Bunbury on Thursday WebblyWA & I decided a return trip was called for as we have now solved Richlink's Superhero final & we HAVE to go & find it. That's good because we did not have time to get thIs one on that occasion. We rectified that today, after we fought a GIANT Arachnid for possession of the style we enjoyed a gentle stroll, in the sunshine, across the meadow to the cache. Low & behold he was waiting for us on the return trip too! TFTC
Seems like just yesterday we were heading down this same highway.
Not such an early start today, PP2 and I are returning to Bunbury to visit the super top secret Super Hero hideout. Once that is done it will be time to start a new series. Does anyone smell bacon.........
We parked in the parking bay and crossed the fence in stile a short and enjoyable walk across a deserted paddock and managing to avoid the land mines saw us arriving at GZ unscathed from there it was a quick find of the 4 stubby cache. Cool idea here TFTC Team Prado

Had this on my radar for ages. Driven past numerous times but not today.
Wandered over with the kids. The wife was sightly worried about the inquisitive cows who wandered over to see Wray we were up to, but one they realised we weren't farmers or had food they left us alone.
Quick find at GZ. Great to see an old cache still in good condition. Fav point awarded. TFTC

On my way down south for a camping trip with a few geobuddies and an assault on Mt Hopkins 'Top on Hop' (GC5GDXZ) I had to pick up few caches to line up for the 2500th milestone.
After grabbing the nearby 'Our Bright Idea' I headed over to this one. Had the feeling I was on private property but I pressed on anyway, no bovines in sight and was a quick find once at GZ.
Team Prado - WA 1968 I found your cache at 12:43pm, this was the 2nd of 3 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2498. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Nice walk. TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
TFTC! Had the afternoon off so decided to drive down the south west highway and make my way a backwards way to Bunbury via a couple of towns I wanted to visit today. Left a couple of caches in each town so i would be forced to come back again!
Was a great day with mostly quick finds. Thanks
