A quick paddle from the other side of the river. The cache was in the 2nd tree I looked in. Love these kayak / canoe caches. Thanks for placing CO.
Almost exactly 2 years later turned my sad face into a happy faceThanks for replacing and maintaining TFTC
What a glorious if somewhat warm afternoon for a paddle..zephyr of a breeze was slightly cooling and much appreciated..quick find here once the gps settled..cache and log in excellent condition tftc
Out and about again, this time with kayak on the roof with the goal of getting to Ron Courtney Island.
The mossies were super bad, it made it hard to find and get the log out, sign and get back in.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Logged after PP2 replaced the cache for the CO - a little higher at GZ so safe from the floods - Tftc and greetings from England
Our UK visitors are looking to fill their D/T so we messaged the CO and came prepared with a replacement.
The cache which we had previously found had been washed away in the floods so we replaced it with a 200ml sistema

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Bear_Left and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Did not see the activity . We tried to find but we were not successful. The grass is super itchy do not recommend.
Hasnt been found for 2 years, being ushc a remote location, looks like its been muggled at some point. Either needs replacing or archiving
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
Paddled across for the event that was being held on the island. Once here (yay) we made a pretty quick find.
Heading out today to an event to celebrate jasenjanine’s 10 year caching birthday. Picked up Granett a few hours early to grab a few extras along the way.
Bear_Left SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache It's on Ron Courtney Island today at 09:56:31 27 Jan 2020. This brings my find count to 3979

A nice easy find after a great little paddle to attend the event nearby ?? TFTC ??
Found while at the event today thanks for the cache on the island. It was an nice easy find today with the sun beating down on us.
I have wanted to get this one for a while now and what better excuse to get the kayak's out than to attend a local event and grab this one at the same time.

On the island for Jasenjanine event so while signing the event log, we took the opportunity to grab this one as well.
Many thanks to Bear_Left for placing and maintaining It's on Ron Courtney Island. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Found it when we decided to look while on a kayaking day out. But forgot to bring a pen
On the way home from a morning in Rockingham we headed off to meet Neva2old and themongrel here to claim the smiley, once again themongrel drew the short straw as we deemed him the best man for the job, after a bit of a search and lots of chanting from the shore we finally get the news..... GOT IT themongrel you’re a trouper, thanks again for taking one for the team and Bear_left TFTC
Out on a gorgeous autumn day. Themongrel who is the swimmer out of all of us got to swim over to the island and make the find. Parkacruz and myself in true support yelled encouragement from the bank TFTC
Moored up with boat to get this one beautiful day for it today ! Bit worried there may be snakes but thankfully none that I saw !
Tftc
Our church had a picnic here today to celebrate the sacrifice Christ made for us and Hawkeye seized the opportunity to grab this one with some of the young ones - they brought it back to the mainland for me to do the signing duties

Geohubby went fishing on a boat with his friends and Geoninja Kid. Picked up an easy cache. TFTC.
Now that’s a fun adventure
While picnicking at that fantastic Garvy Park, made the swim with the geoson with the phone in a Tupperware container across the river.
The geoson ran ahead and made a quick find at Gz

TFTH! Sneaky spot. Cache looking good, looks like someone found it just before us today? Or maybe replaced it today?
By crikey .. you gotta be quick to log a cache you’ve just replaced these days don’t ya
Having the CO’s blessing to replace this obviously missing cache, we headed back there today with a fresh container and logbook (amongst a few other goodies). The yak was readied with supplies, and DangerMouse09 and myself headed off
Dodging a floating ice-cream van, we quickly arrived at our destination and the fresh cache was signed and replaced in its spot. Little did we know that it would be found so soon after we were there
Thanks for allowing us to replace your cache Bear_Left, and thanks for the adventure [^] .. a fave coming your way.
P.S. Dropped off a TB

No luck with this one unfortunately . We searched around GZ, and all we found was a some black gaffa-tape and one clip lock tab at the obvious spot according to the hint. Pretty sure it is missing and have e-mailed the CO.
Thanks anyway Bear_Left

Out for a trip on our boat, beautiful sunny day on the river. Thought we would do some of the caches that can be got to by boat. Found this one after about 15 mins. The box has deteriorated but the log is in a bag so all good. Inside of the box is a little sad looking so we left a little treasure in the bag with the log.
The mud was very slippery and I was pleased that my husband and son went looking and not me TFTC

Stoped here with our boat. Surprisingly we found a trackabale in the box, yeahh! Unfortunately it is a bit broken. The cache container is also falling apart, needs maintenance.
Looked at this on my phone for a couple years coming down to Garvey Park on Australia Day, but this year brought down a kayak and got across for an easy find. TFTC Bear_Left. TNLN.
What a great little hiding spot! Log ok but container needs maintenance due to sun damage.

This was the last cache found on what has been a whirlwind few days here in Perth on a solo caching run around the region.
On arrival at the shore line it didn't seem that cold as I stripped to my undies and with my dry bag filled with some air a gpsr, tb and a pen. I made the 50m swim to the island in about 2mins. The cache was quickly found and is still in great condition. A suitable cache to drop a special coin that I have had on me for ages now. Good luck mate, hopefully you keep moving.
With some addition photos taken it was time to return to the main land and by this crossing had some kayak paddlers sliding by. I didn't hear any screams once back on shore and quickly dressed from my gear tashed under the board walk. I had decided to tackle this from the Kayak club side of the river.
Quite a refreshing swim and a perfect cache to finish on and it also completes my 8th loop.
This is a favorite for the location, effort required and the milestone. [^]

TFTC! Spent a lovely Saturday out caching with Cravo10 with a couple of things to knock off the "todo" list which has been quite well populated for some time now.
We started the day in Belmont and grabbed the nearby cache "it's on Ron Courtney island" by bear left which has been in my sights since I first started caching four years ago, was great to finally knock that cache off, and a ripper spot it is too.
We then headed down to Shelley to compete he kayak on canning series, which had been high on the priority list as it is quite close to home and some of our closest I found traditional caches. Was also highly recommended after having completed the upper swan kayak series.
Kayak caches were all found in good order and condition except for DNFs at 1 and 10, one was too good for us (10) and 1 seems to be missing as I saw the spoiler pic in another cachers log and it wasn't there. Awesome series, which also allowed us to pickup the z-a puzzle challenge cache by Jinta if only we qualified!!
The water levels were still quite low in the canning and we bottomed out in certain spots, with some seriously thick and smelly mud to get through! Really enjoyed the warm shower when I got home!!
We then moved our attention towards some of the newer paskerfind caches, including a few puzzles we had finally solved. Some great camo caches in the series and a good effort by the CO to keep the caches interesting.
Thanks to the COs for a great day out and can't wait to be back out soon.

Found this one with Barnzy12, this was the starting point for todays adventures. TFTH TFTC
We paddled right around the island before landing close to cache, we made a quick find. All is well with the cache, thanks for the hide we have been wanting to get this one for a while. We went for a paddle up the river afterwards and crossed paths with two swans.
Decided to drop the kayaks into the river for a quick paddle across to the Island with Lazarus and Marc. While waiting for Lasaurus GPS to settle, he said its over there somewhere according to Google earth. So Off I went following a trail which lead me directly to the cache sitting out in the open. There seems to be more recent signatures in the book but no online logs. One of the catches on the lid has cracked and broken, looks like exposure to UV has degraded the plastic. Might be advisable to replace it in the near future. Hid the container a little better than we found it, Many thanks for the cache, have been eying this one for a long time.
Took the Geokids fishing and decided to swim over to the island to find this. Really enjoyed ourselves. TFTH
Had the trusty kayak onboard today, so made the short paddle over, grabbed the cache, then headed back and reloaded it back on top of the vehicle. My companion tells me that this one used to be the final for a puzzle cache. Knowing the CO, I bet it was a doozy!! Happy to claim my smiley here today though. Thanks Bear_Left
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Had a bit of fun launching our trusty yaks among the expensive looking numbers owned by the kayak club fraternity. They may have had a faster, more elegant paddle but we ended up with a Bear Left find - a very rara avis indeed these days (maybe that should be rara ursus)
Thanks PBL and MBL. Hope all is well with you both

What a lot of fun this was! Since we got wet at our previous cache, Me & B, megawat60 and I headed off for another swim. It was a pleasant swim, then walk to GZ. Megawat60 mentioned the "snake" word, and as bathers are not really the correct attire we were cautious, but none were to be seen.
The cache was found, the log was signed and off we went for another swim, much enjoyed today.
Garvey Park has some memories for me, as when in her teens, my DD kept her first horse in neighbouring Ascot, and used to ride as well as compete in Garvey Park.

What a great place for a cache, just brilliant! Having got totally wet at our last cache in the river we tackled this jointly with Me&be and m4yb. A nice swim out and being 3 of us we figured that boats are more likely to spot us, no incident fortunately. On arrival close to GZ pour attire was not the most appropriate for a bit of 'bush bashing' however no snakes spotted and an easy find once there.
Having not brought our phones or camera's I headed back first and left the girls on the island so we could get good reference shots.
Thanks for this great smiley Bear_Left

Met up with megawat60 and m4yb this morning to do some river caching. A great time was had by all, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and without caching we would never have set foot on this little island.

Kayaked over to do this one yesterday. (26th) I haven`t done any caches in ages. May be the last entry for 2014. A quick find & many thanks Bear Left.
Parked the boat on the wrong side of the island ... found the cache in open view within its hide, but still all OK. - TFTH!
Originally found this one September 1st 2013, but didn't log it!! Returned today with KTB73 after a very pleasant morning paddle. Easy find - TFTC
Nice little paddle with Mini Blackstock, easy find in a lovely spot TNLN/ T4TH
We will give this one a favourite point as it lead us to a lovely picnic spot we'd never visited before, although we live not too far away. Kids paddled their boogie boards over while I swam the 50m or so with my plastic-bagged phone between my teeth. Took us a while to locate GZ as the phone was possibly a little water damaged after it's adventure - had to use the photos to help zone in on the cache. Cache could do with a bit of a clean out - something has melted in there by the looks of it. Enjoyed mucking around in the river for the rest of the day - fabulous. Thanks Bear Left for bringing us here. TFTC
I went after this when it was called try our nonce, and was frustrated by water. Years later on a kyacache day, got it. Ez find. Hot weather has caused a treasure to make a mess, I think it was wax ? Needs maintenance. t4tc
Visited with the geo-kayak on this beautiful Saturday. Started from the Memorial Drive boat ramp, nice paddling up the river. TFTH
Out in the boat with friends we did some geocaching on the way to a picnic at Garvey Park.TFTC
Out with the geofamily in the boat. heart not in it today due to the late night festivities. at least it keeps geohusband and geokids out of my way. TFTC
Went for a paddle from Garvey park up the river. Always wondered what was on this little island, thanks for bringing me here. TNLN. SL. TFTC!
