GPS seemed to be a bit all over the place.
Saw that others DNF .... so didn't really even attempt it ourselves.

Great views of the mine and surrounding districts. Kept trying to get a picture of a haulpak racing past but couldn't focus the camera in time. Took a timer photo of us sitting in the lounge chairs instead. Lots of fun. Thanx to whoever put them there. TNLN TFTC
Probably didn't approach this one from the most useful angle. Got quite grubby while clutching my iPad in one hand (somehow the GPS lost a whole load of gpx files while I wasn't looking). Fich06 provided a distraction for the few muggles lurking. TFTC.
Morrisminor72 began the search while we looked for Charlie's new gps (that he put 'somewhere'). Found the gps and arrived on the scene in time to spot the cache and shout instructions to Morrisminor while she scrambled about. All good. Thanks for bringing us here. Charlie enjoyed looking at the trucks.
Nice easy find with the help of geocaching Grandson, breathtaking view of the local Quarry. TNLN TFTC
This was our 6th of 14 finds today - and we found it at around 13:52.
(So this is our 4266th total find.)
Had lunch at the top. The views are spectacular (but the hole isn't the biggest we have seen).
Took: Nothing
Left: Car
Thanks four-fun for the hunt today.

We had to have a look at this pit because I just like watching them in opperation. After checking out where the hide would be us Bushies decided it was not going to be safe for a couple of oldies that have just had back surgery and knee replacement. But the view from up the top in all angles was spectacular . With the open cut mine and to the east the hugh amount of wheat in storage.
Thanks Four-fun for taking us to this place.

Found with Fred6603 on our SA adventure trek on a wet day in Ardrossan. Another nice quick Leap Day cache find and a good view as well. TFTC,

A detour on a work trip without James today, a popular spot with travellers. A couple in a campervan looked like thye weren't going anywhere in a hurry so I took the lower route to the cache and remained unnoticed.
Dropped of 'Unique to Unique 2' travel bug because it wanted to go to places with good elevation, so where better than a lookout on a hill.

Rossyroad went trekking. Good job! Found travel bug...f11637. Rossyroad will move it on.

The cache was quite obvious, so we replaced a little less obviously. Should still be easy find!
A quick find while camping down at Innes National Park for a few days.
We had TB270FE, 'Diddl', with us for a few days who we said good-bye to here. Its sort of like losing part of the family.
GOOD-BYE Diddl, we'll be watching over your future journeys!

Found on a nice October weekend. Great views of Ardrossan and the gulf. That is one big hole on the other side! Took a pokemon figurine and left a purple rhino. SL TFTC four-fun!
Great views from up here (towards the coast anyway). Tried to place it back without leaving an obvious path to the cache. T - piglet plate L- Pokemon TFTC
Found today after a drive up to the lookout, had a feeling there might be a cache there. Checked the phone and 30 secs later had cache in hand. TFTC TNLN
Gee this is a popular spot! Had to make a mad dash for the cache in between sightseers. TNLN, no sign of the geocoin.
Found this in the company of Cymbaline. No-one around when we discovered it, but that may have something to do with the fact it was dusk. great views.
A quick find by geoson, while we created a barrier from the other muggles so geoson could bring the cache back up to us. SL TNLN TFTC

Yay! First cache for the new financial year!!! And first cache for the newest member of the family!
Hi Four-Fun. I have found your long lost cache hiding in the Onesteel cribroom. It seems it was collected during a tree trimming program and has been sitting safe and sound in the cribroom ever since. I have retrieved it and replaced it in what I recall being the correct position under the southern most tree. The Onesteel employees and Plant Manager are now aware of it and have no problem with it being there.
Oops!!!
I'd forgoten this was even disabled
Thanks Ciril for both finding the cache and putting it back.
I'll attempt to get there in the near future and check its positioning.
Cheers

I had a quick scout around for this one and I'm sure it's gone. Found a good little shelf under the tree that would make a great hiding spot, however the bullants started to bite for a really thorough search.
Temorarily disabled till I can get there and check on it.
Were you a DNF muff1? or was it just a comment?

Boo couldn't find it, had to admire the view several times waiting for muggles to leave! Oh well 5 out of 6 isn't bad for a couple of hours have to try again soon
Couldn't find it anywhere. A tree nearby has has a limb removed recently. Maybe it isn't here anymore?
Nice quick find on our way home after spending the week at the Yorke Penninsula caching, took TSLS TFTC
nice views, had to wait for muggles to leave the area first! No bugs/coins in the cache today. TFTC
nice spot! as i was looking for it a car came up the hill, our cover was blown! luckily no questions asked, and we were off before they came down the hill again. TFTC
An easy find although both our GPSers we pointing to the other side of the track. Cool views of the mine!!! TFTC
A nice view, well worth a cache. Bit of fun driving up there too! Thanks to four-fun for the cache.
Out for an afternoon of geocaching with T2 & T3. They were excited when they realised we had to go up here to find a cache. T3 had an opportunity to practise the 'going down the side of a steep hill sideways' technique that Grandma had shown her earlier. They couldn't quite comprehend that what they were seeing on the horizon were hills near Adelaide - but we all enjoyed this journey. Thank you.
Found at 1.15pm. Received elephant mouse car and replaced orange deer. What a great view on our lunch stop. Cheers.
Rob dropped me off at the top, we admired the views out to sea and then he picked me up at the bottom. How's that for service.
Thanks four-fun
Thanks four-fun
Quite a view from up here - in both directions.
BHP seem to have removed a bit of dirt from around here, we noticed.
Thanks for the view, Robmc.

Decided retrieval from below rather than above was the go here. Great views, had no idea this mine was here. Thanks for bringing us here.
A quick find on the way to Pt Vincent before returning the next day with 83 caches found.

Fantastic views, both to the sea and land. Nice easy find. Found during the walenators caching SMASHEX of Western Victoria and the Yorke Peninsular SA. TFTH...SL....TNLN
Mum Grom took the high road and I took the low road. As a team we coordinated and threw the cache back and forth enjoying both the views and the sun. Took beads and left a pathtag. I haven’t been up here for years, always a great spot! Cache # 536.
A nice find on a night away to Yorkes. Nice to take our time to cache these ones we usually race past
Cheers from Mr & Mrs Barra

As soon as I arrived at this one, 15 4WD's turned up right behind me. People were everywhere and were looking in each direction so I took the opportunity to call the wife and chat until they all left. Quickly found the cache and headed for the west coast of the YP.
more beautiful views! Just lovin' it. Saw the cache from the top, scrambled down to it, took some ants away with me! TNLNSL TFTC
Great view from up there, and only had to wait for one group of muggles to leave the spot.
Then found it relatively quickly.

Presumably this is the BHP dolomite operation supporting the Whyalla foundry. Excellent views from up here. McPhan approached from below and I took the much easier approach from above. Thanks four-fun.
2465. Made that a lot harder than it needed to be but I was trying not to show the muggles that I was going over the edge. A couple of skirmishes up the hill until Winglen made an immediate find!
TFTC and the vertices.

On a run through Yorke Peninsula to try and collect some of the new caches that have accumulating, but stopped off for an older, more satisfying cache. Great views to be had from up here, and a bit of fun reaching the cache.
Took: nothing
Left: Cache around the world geocoin

I have been up here several times since this cache was hidden, but before I became a cacher.
The little members of the clan were very interested in the dump truck activity, watching them load
then go across the road and down to unload and come back again.
