That's enough DNF's for me to be sure it's gone.
I'll replace if no-one beats me to it.
Till then, it's in to the Archive bin for this one.

We looked for this cache for about 30 minutes, around all the trees in the near vicinity and under the boardwalk - no luck.
Had a bit of a look around and under the boardwalk, and nearby trees, but nothing came to light, in any spots relating to the hint. Loved the walk through this area though.
If cache is there we must have a bad case of cache blindness, as we spent awhile searching between all trees that were within 10 - 15 meters of GZ. Next time we are up this way will call in again. Hopefully we will be more successful then lol.
Find number 6 for today, the 8th day of our trip to Tasmania and the Mega Event. Found at 1600hrs, our 106th find for the trip so far. We dont know how it can be claimed it isnt visited often. Nearby camp grounds were chockers with inhabitants, and the parklands were abuzz with people. Fortunately, we managed to avoid them all, and claim a find.

Took bird and dinosaur toys. Left parachute soldier and skull rubber. Took travel bug JGBWCG. Great location, worth a stop and spend time wandering around.
Great area. Nice walk. Read clue over and over before got it! Nummber 11 for the day and light fading. Left AERO took Ned Flanders.
Quite a few campers here in this lovely little park... We enjoyed the break from our two wheeled adventure with a brief stroll...

Great little walk, used to bring down the dog, or the kids. Platypus very active at 2 in the afternoon, and the fish can obviously read the no fishing sign. TNLN. TFTC
Thanks for pointing out this spot CraigRat. I suspect I'll be back here with my family one of these days, and this will be a neat spot to explore.
Stayed at this place a few weeks before we discovered our first cache. Great to revisit it. An easy find thanks to the clue. Quite a few muggles around on this beautiful long weekend Saturday. Thanks.
Glad I had the Girl with me on this one, lost reception under the trees. I would of wandered all over the place! Thanks
Delightful park with good boardwalk. Lost signal many times due to tree canopy, but after knees getting very soggy, found the treasure. TFTC
Can not understand why the park doesn't get heaps of use. It was a lovely spot and facilities. Easy find after a slightly damp under foot walk. TFTC
I often stop here on the way past, best public loos I have seen in a while! Lovely walk, not a muggle in sight on this soggy day! I actually did 2 trips to the cache as when I got there I found nothing to write with! Went back the the car to grab a pen to put in and when I got back found a pencil on the ground, not sure if it dropped out when I was rummaging around or it was left out on the previous find! Left pen anyways! Thanks for the great walks!
Have not been to this park for about 25 years and the improvement is nice to see. A nice rest stop and well worth a cache.
TNLN Thanks
TNLN Thanks
New logbook added.
That said, a fair few ppl tried to cram their signatures on the last page, when all they needed to do was flip the book over and write on the other side of the pages! The book was only 1/2 empty!
Anyhow, it's now got a new book, and the park is still cool, very happy with this hide!

Excellent place for a cache, took us on a walk we wouldn't have found otherwise. We spent a bit of time adventuring through some of the trails and were amazed at how many different types of ecosystems you can find in such a small area, and that from the road you would never know that this little wonderland exists. Will definitely be recommending this cache to anyone we know coming to Tassie!
We lost GPS reception in the denser trees as suggested but the clue was certainly enough to work it out.
I would recommend that anyone else coming here brings some stale bread - we were met by a faily demanding gaggle of hugry looking geese and ducks who were more than happy who share our lunch!
The notebook is now completely full, we wrote on the back page

Finally got around to doing this one,
We have been meaning to do it for quite some time now,
And it was worth the wait, a great place for a stroll and so many tracks to do,
A tea tree has recently fallen straight across GZ and has been cut up with a chainsaw and moved off the board walk but the cache remained undisturbed or found,
TNLN Cheers CraigRat we enjoyed it

This was the first of several caches on this day of our holiday.
And what a spot!
We were actually camped there the night before, went to the library in town to see if there were any caches nearby, and weren't we delighted! We had only ventured as far as the park just beyond the BBQ's, but wandered happily after getting the co-ords!
Cant remember what we swapped, but it was written in teh book.
Thanks ever so much for revealling the lovely spot!

What a bloody fabulous spot to stop!
Perfect timing - we were on a fairly long drive and geobub needed some lunch, so we stopped here to stretch and have a bite to eat. (Geobub accidentally shared her lunch with the ducks -oops!)
Only a very few muggles about there on this lovely sunny day...
We would not have stopped here if it weren't for the cache. Thanks so much - it made our drive!
Took frog, left snake and Aussie pencil.

Wow this is a nice park to wander around.
Superb BBQ area and plenty of picinic tables too
The nearby caravan park was full, but the terrific park was completely deserted still. It is as if no one knows it exists [:o]
I enjoyed my ramble and found me the cache on the way
I sprung the Spring geocoin. TFTC.

One of the few caches we have found on this trip that didn't have an issuuuuuuue. Cache was in a fantastic location, all was dry and it was filled with good swaps. A few people in the barbecue area enjoying the sun and we would love to camp here on our next trip. Great park and we saw lots of wildlife. TFTC. Left a duck
Easy find in a beautiful park. Had lunch here, very enjoyable for the kids. Had the ML clan.
Looks like a well maintained park. Pleasant stroll to the cache.

What a beautiful forest park. I really loved the beauty of this place. I certainly recommend a visit here by everyone! You can even stay the night for free (and up to 7 nights) if you are willing to camp. Thanks for bringing us here. It made the last day of Tassie very enjoyable. . . . . Back to Brissie for us... eatmorchickin and Stigglepot

It was a very wet arvo and the hint proved good for a quick find. Also read the muggle log with interest.

We thought that Terrific Forest was a terrific cache.
Fantastic little area, coords spot on, so easily found.
Had been found by an interested muggle who was into collecting minerals and also rollers from cigarette lighters.
She had been hiding her minerals in ziploc bags in the same area. They had gone missing, so a wider search had revealed the cache to her.
She left some quartz in the cache and asked if cachers could leave their lighters and she would check evey so often.
Altogether the most interesting cache of the weekend.
Many thanks CraigRat.

I was in the area for work so I just had to do a cache or two. This one at lunchtime and thankfully done without muddying my work clothes. Great forest. Thanks craigrat
I have driven past this park more times than I can remember. It is quite impressive. Met a bloke there who took me on a tour of the park so had to come back later to find the cache. Thanks for the cache TNLN

We where looking for somewhere for lunch and this cache was drawing us in. This turned out to be a great place for lunch. The kids had a ball feeding the ducks and playing around. We nabbed this cache and did the cache thing before having a pleasant lunch in the pleasant surroundings.
Found at Noon onour 5 week Tassie Adventure.Missed this one the day before but knew we were coming back today. Parked our cache mobile amongst all the caravans and campers. Headed into the rainforrest. what a magic spot, we could have walk in hear for hours, the sun was filtering thru the ferns and trees.
Took: Lion King. Left: 4WD car.

Thanks for the Cache.
What a top park land! would have liked to have more time to laze about, but we found the cache and more so it was on our way. Thanx for an excellent cache, well done.
TFTC - great hide, nicely stocked cache and what a lovely community facility - bravo Scottsdale! Found easily with hint. L new untrackable geocoin ( please treat this as a regular swap - it's not a travelbug ) T mondo
I must have had the Rat mind going on this one cause I went straight to it in a matter of seconds. The forest was all empty when I was there (the theme for the day) so I took my sweet time logging and then exploring along the duckboard. Thanks CR, thats another area I would have passed by if not for Garry (the Garmin)
What a fantastic spot. I have driven past this place 100's of times over the years, and had no idea it was here.

Found a Glad type cache bag about 1.5m from the cache location, I thought it had been muggled. Went back to the cachemobile/home and rechecked the hint.
Found cache easily the second time.
Was going to swap in a bounce ball but there were 2 in there already.
Great place. Thanks CraigRat.

Well, it had started to rain when we arrived in the park, but that didn't deter the wildlife anywhere near as much as it deterred us. The wallabies all came out to greet us.
It does look like a nice little spot, we'll remember it for a spot to stop for some lunch next time we're coming through. This time though, it was a case of a quick dash in and out before we got too wet.
Thanks Again Rats. A fine effort!

We were planning to spend the night in the nearby park, but the cold winds chased us out early. A great little walk to this cache, we also found out about the old swimming hole and a bit of the local history. A great one thanks CraigRat.
Found this during a drizzly evening. Nice walk, saw pademelons etc. Never new any of this was here.

found cache after an enjoyable walk through the forest. Nice cache! Took spy gear and compass left frog, pound puppy and disney light.
Been past this place heaps of times and thought it just another park. But when you call in and look around it really is well laid out with good facilities. And where the cache is is a very nice walk. Good cache too but as the weather was very ordinary neede the clue.

Was in the area hiding a cache and decided to pop in to Scottsdale propper for a cuppa before heading back home. On way back out of Scottsdale the penny dropped and i remembered there was a cache here. So i grabbed the GPS and headed off into the "forrest". Arriving at GZ i found the cache guarded by 3 very tame pademelons, had left camera in car though which i kicked myslef for. I was able to retrtieve cache, sign log and return cache without disturbing them, yet only sitting abuot 3 meters away. I think this is the most enjoyable 'log signing' i have ever done
I must have driven past this area a bajilion times over the years and always assumed it to be 'just another roadside rest area' How wrong could i have been. Thankyou Craigrat another ripper...

Such a peaceful area that could very easily be missed, while driving along that way. The perfect spot to hold a Geocaching Event, maybe sometime in the future??
The camellias along the bank are already bursting into colour and the water lilies will be spectacular, when they're also in flower!
Took picture frame/left lint shaver.

Spend hours trying to think of a reason to go to Scottsdale, in the end I couldn't think of one, so I just went!
I'd heard rumours about this cache from the cachemeister himself and was looking froward to it given I'd driven past dozens of times in the past. What a surprise it is, this is just how I'd like my backyard, lovely eucalypts, stands of tea trees & manferns, a pond/lake - sublime! They've done a great job here and from the looks of the works happening when I visited they are still out to make improvements. It made me go "Wow" so it goes on my recommended list - not the Alexander Graham type WOW, but a pleasant "this is a nice spot I didn't know existed type WOW". I should mention today was pretty crappy weather and someone had decided to set fire to half of Scottsdale, and the other half was, well it was Scottsdale - so hopefully your visit will be on a nice sunny day and that will make it just that little more enjoyable.
Had a good walk around, very pleasurable. Found the cache pretty well straight away for obvious reasons, the NavWoman was spot on at GZ with a reading of 1.5 metres. Came prepared for a CraigRat cache and swapped out the Spider gem for a Kathmandu Zipper Compass.
Thanks CraigRat - sorry, AndyRat, hm, CharlyRat - thanks to the whole team for this one!
