Don't know how long it's going to take for the clean up. Council doesn't seem to be in a hurry. Going to Archive it. Thanks to all that found the cache.
Park still heavily damage from TC Marica. Council has fence off the area so no public access. Just waiting for the clear up to finish before putting the cache back in place.
There is a lot of trees down in the area of the cache due to TC Marica. Removed for safety reasons. Will wait until council clears up the area before putting it back.
Found it after TC Marcia, still there, had to move Some things to access it but was a good walk
Found tonight after dinner. Ants are building their home around the container, so when I pulled it out they were all going crazy and running ask over the place. Not exactly a fan of those little critters

Looks like the ants love geocache too. Well hidden from muggles. It's between a....... And a hard place. Hehe
Good hide two for the day good way to spend the last day in rocky. Long trip to ipswich tomorrow
The ants sure do love this one. They like the outside of the container so after a few minutes they had all scattered.

Found it on the way from Carmila Beach to Hervey Bay.
We found this cache during the first of our 5 week trip thru Eastern Australia and Tasmania. We startet in Cairns, now first direction Sydney. On the way we will search more nice locations on the way, geocaching helps us a lot.
Many thanks also for this cache and greetings from GPSnini (from Switzerland)

These gardens are beautiful and make for a lively walk on a day off. Found the cache easily. TFTC
16/10/14 Up from Brisbane for a conference and I was hoping to grab a few caches whilst here. This one was close by so a nice early morning walk was had. A lovely garden to wander through but unfortunately no time for us to take the time to stroll. On heading to GZ we had to dodge some sprinklers and then were nearly eaten alive by man eating spiders. Thankfully we found the cache, signed the log and made it away unharmed. TFTC and bringing us to this lovely part of Rocky.
Always enjoy this park walking the dog. Found cache just on dusk take plenty of mosquito repellant for those hunting at a similar time
gps lead us a lil astray but found our way back first time we've been caching in a while. donated a lil blood to a big bitey mozzie.

Had another attempt today and this time my gps pointed me in a different direction - much easier to find when looking in the right area!

Quick find on visit to My sister in Australia , on a beautiful day out. Dropped off TB all the way from SA.
I nearly got carried away by green ants in the attempt for this one, maybe next time!
It is difficult to envisage that this beautiful area was once a garbage tip, congratulations to the local council for having the foresight to turn this into an attractive recreational area, unlike our local council which sold off our beautiful area for housing.
Be grateful you live in an area with a council that appreciates beauty

Thanks for another fast to grab cache Dooghan, very much appreciated. An early morning ride before work to get this one.
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Dooghan. We found your cache "Walking on Trash" at 12:34:00 PM today.
This was our 5th cache find in a caching run of 5 Finds & 2 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9658.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our "next closest" route took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.
Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. For over ten years we have watched the quality of caches get steadily worse and worse. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

Geocaching with our geobuddies Eesh&Nick. It surprisingly took us awhile. Found it after we quite literally sat down on it. A few muggles about and we had to pull out the stealth mode a few times. TFTC.
Our last cache in Rockhampton before heading home in the morning. We parked in the main carpark and made our way to GZ. What a beautiful park. Once at GZ we made a quick find. There is not a trackable in the cache despite one being listed. TFTC.
I hadn't originally planned on finding this cache, but I decided to pay it a visit while I waited for muggles to hopefully move away from another. I legged it down from the carpark and was impressed on my trip how lovely the area is. Without you telling me, I'd never know it used to be the local tip. Mind, many parks tend to be parked on top of landfill.
I think i took the wrong path as had to hop over some rocks to get there, but was soon at GZ, this one, thankfully, deserted. A quick look around and I just found this sistema container full of trash.. oh, right. I added my name to the logbook and replaced as found. I took a slightly different route back and noted the most colourful bench seats I've ever seen along the way. TFTC Dooghan
