Some time ago I posted a reviewer note advising that you have 1 month in which to maintain this cache, however, you have failed to fix it.

This cache has therefore been archived due to a lack of owner maintenance.

No time to play around at this cache before we get cut off by the tide.

A nice walk at low tide. Unfortunately we inputed the wrong co-ordinates (having transposed the 4 and 1) and spend a good half hour looking in the wrong place. When we fixed the waypoint we spotted the cache namesake straight away. We had read other people's comments about it, but we most impressed when we saw it up close.

The dogs loved this one as they could run free whilst we searched. Found the cache quickly once in the right place. Great spot! Thanks for bringing us here!

In this locality today and decided to introduce a friend (Macker) to Caching. A nice walk along the foreshore in the spring sunshine. In the end an easy find. The next person to visit this cache should take a new pencil. The stub that is left is getting pretty small. TNLN. TFTC

The clue says it all! But what a great little structure nearby to look at. Low tide made this easy.

Will have to leave this for another day-picked the wrong tide-met a fisherman about 300 meteres from GZ-he said dont go over the rocks as they are slippery and it looked a bit deep to wade out!!@ Plus I wasnt wearing the right attire.!!

WOW stunning shapes and colours in the beach boulders.... the water was like bathwater on such a hot calm day.
Hunting with XenaCommander and Commanderling, all getting a bit peckish this being the third for the day and riding motorbikes. Just for a change the Commander was sent in for the final kill in the cutty grass. The Gurlz daintily signing log and TK rifling thru the goodies.. deciding more needs to be added.... Out nil In: Yellow buckle strap and keyring.
Off up the road to the bird place tearooms for a well deserved lunch.... no eftpos but awesome home cooked corned beef salad sarnies and HUUUGGGE scones. Best of all they have a wonderfully natured cockatoo... a real sweetie that jus lerves to have her armpit scratched gently

A well named cache. Found the cache after reading the logs and the hint. Wasn't too keen about relying on those rocks to take my weight.
Stunning beach I thought

Out for an afternoons caching and I decided I must do something about those unfound, "close", catches on the Peninsular. My arrival coinsided with high tide so I had some refreshment and put on the gumboots and set forth. I was so engrossed with admiring the bay I overshot GZ and on returning the GPS indicated I had arrived .
I searched unsuccessfully tried clue in the titleand the decrypted one. I was not convinced but found 3 things that sort of fitted fitted so I searched them all, several times!
I collected two wounds and, dripping blood, decided to give up. Then on the return trip about 25 metres back from the indicated GZ I finally found the right object for the clue and immediately grabbed the cache.

The tide now considerably receded the walk back was just a pleasant stroll with just a couple of other walkers out.

Took the Lava Tour TB otherwise

Yes, I agree - this coastline is hardly known about on the Manukau, and quite underated. It has to be seen from a kayak seat at high.

This was our most favourite cache of the day by far. A series of beautiful white sandy beaches contrasting against some odd reddy coloured sandstone boulders. Tide was getting pretty high when we did the walk so we did get wet feet but it was a lovely warm evening with no wind so this was no concern at all. Mnay thanks. TNLN

Waited for the rain to abate then headed down the beach. Didn't spot the obvious at first but after a re-read things became much clearer. Searched for about 30 minutes without any luck, and had a lucky escape when an overhanging rock I was standing on broke in half. Shame to come all this way for a DNF Sad.
