Reperio 08:10With a mid week day off work, I decided to take a drive along the Bridle Track and tick off a few of the First Australian Parliament Geocache series. With every cache searched for found, it couldnt have been a better day for driving and geocaching. At the time of finding I didnt realise how old this cache was. A true testament of the times with good rural placement. Gratias opted-out userAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Signed as a group with Mudgee Madness. Went past the sign as the gate was open for a quick find. TFTC.
Found with the Mudgee Madness Crew over the King's Birthday Long Weekend. From up high to down low, we added another one to the list. TFTC
Disobedience as the sign says one thing but quickly goes the smiley with this one.Signed Mudgee madness
Out caching on the JLWE with aubeasty, Its Dozzie, Brewmaker, Team Canary, Martin Cousins, and Everest High from a base in Mudgee. We had a great adventure today exploring some spectacular countryside. Thanks opted-out user for bringing us here.
This cache is in good condition but on private property. We think it will have to be moved. Container in good condition
#13073 11:50First of two days staying at the beautiful Hill End campground and do some interesting 4WD tracks. Of course there was the odd geocache to be found. Some nice campgrounds are scattered along the Bridal Track, right next to the Macquarie river. Looking forward to come back and stay at one of these campgrounds. After ignoring a sign and strolling through the grass it made for an easy find. TFTC Scenic Routers
Saw only the second camper along the Turon here over the entire week,a quick dash and soon found it
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Out for a Sunday drive and delighted to have some caches to find. No need to worry about muggles here - nothing shorter than a giraffe would be visible in the long grass! TFTC
It is a lovely day to be out and we are enjoying some caching. The scenery is as beautiful as ever but the road is a nightmare. A seeming long walk through very long grass to get to the cache. Thankfully no snakes. TFTC
It’s been a long time since I’ve driven on this road. I’d forgotten how scenic the area is TFTC
Took the geokids out of school for the day to take a three day weekend for fathers day and do some camping a little bit further down the road. Noone else felt like jumping of the car for cache was found by me whilst everyone else looked on from afar. Ironically we ended up back at this site the following day and then we all got to explore the area. TFTC!
This was day 75 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and we are very close to home now.
This was a very nice quick and easy find as we travelled along the Bridle Track. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we had found it. Thank you Scenic Routers for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.

Bathurst/Orange weekend trip August 15 with Albida33....
Arrived at GZ and soon had the cache in hand.....and then got sprung by one of the owners who was nearby on a family outing. Timing is everything. Grabbed the TB to move.
Thanks guys...great to see a cache over 10 years old still in the field.

Lovely camping spots along the Bridle Trail, we were here a few months ago prior to all the rain found it after some good old cache detective work and memories of caches found before.. Signed the log and went on our merry way. Tftc.
We seemed to be a bit backwards today and did this one on the way out. Quick easy find and took the Atlantis travel bug. TFTC
A day to remember...
And also a day to cache!
This log represents the first foray of our new 4WD out into the wild.
Such a shame that the road is now closed, but we enjoyed our little adventure anyway.

Quick find on a great track. Well protected by an army of grown up weeds - boy, I found the cache in two minutes and spent twenty cleaning up the seeds from my jumper!
camped here for years and never knew about geocaching til earlier this year. cache is damaged but had nothing to replace it with. SL TN LN TFTH
we have camped near here a few times with friends that are now also fellow cachers so when we arrived this time it was a race to the cache. Geoteen flew from the car after i made a remark about a likely spot and soon had cache in hand. SL TFTH
Found after dark, 8:50pm, on a Geo-Tour of the Bridle Track. Took leg horse, left sticker & serenity quote. TFTC
Muggles nearby, setting up camp, had us to try to look as we were just having a rest in the sun.
Took a white rat, left a lego horse.

Found easily. Nice spot down here by the river. And a nice outlook over the campers below.
Quick find as we headed in to the Macquarie. At high enough water you can paddle this creek down to the Macquarie itself.
Found it A nice easy find to kick off our Bridle Track adventure. The geokids made the find. Did some swaps and signed the log, cheers

Found this one while competing in the Bathurst 24 Hour Event. Found at 17:16. This road is not the quickest way to Hill End we were to discover, but a fun drive.

The newly addicted, intrepid geocachers of floodprincess and family set off for the day, hoping to find the whole series of caches along the Bridal Track and enjoy the environs...
Unfortunately this was not be.....whilst we know the track well, after locating this cache (and swapping a semi limitied edition SES wristband for the little ceramic frog)..the batteries in the GPS died - leaving us with no option but to drive the track to Hill End and enjoy the scenery...
The rest await the trip out....
Thanks

Have headed out for an overnight Geocache trip, have found a few today. It is now dark as we head along the Bridal Track.Miss eight found it with great excitment by torch light.Decided to set up camp beside the river for the night.
Found cache on our way to Hill End nice easy find, a few muggles passing by. Took elephant keyring and left a plastic frog.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Third for the day. Took the dog toy as the 'little' Rottie loved it. Played with it for a while. Left Aerogard. Then it was back in the car and journey on to the second in the series.
While out that way I decided to see what the Bridal Track was really like. Went as far as this cache (and logged, thanks once again Routers), then decided to go to the next one in the series.
About 6 or 7km down the road they are doing roadwork, and after seeing the 4WD infront of me get bogged, and have to be towed out, I thought the SV6 was not up to the task (2wd, f-all ground clearance, and no obvious towing points lol). I'll wait to do the rest of the series, or go another way to them.

Hey, being my 300th it was fitting I should find it...needed stealth mode for this one...was so effective Cheeesy was still trying to find it long after it was retrieved!
Last in the series of Bridals. We all sgned the log and I returned the cache only to put my fingers millimetres from the redback spider that makes this spot home, so beware of the red spot.
Thanks again Routers

Grabbed this one on the event, lined up and signed. Great location and scenery, thanks Routers!

Getting cooler and starting to get darker. An easy find for the boy before wally got there, was going to drive away with it, but, the boy did not get in the car quick enough.
Took nothing, but, wally took a liking to the ball cupping device that we located within.

Jnr Webguy needs to be quicker on his feet...
Rumours of my fondness for any ball cupping devices are greatly exagerated!
To the moderators; Relax! It's nothing blue! You'll just have to visit the cache to see for yourself.
Took - Carabiner pen thing
Left - Ball in ball cupping device.

We arrived at this one only to find plenty of muggle activity on mini bikes with no helmets. Rats tried driving right up to GZ but ropes due to his stelthieness already had the cache in hand.
We Came (on 4x4 event cache), we saw (a plastic container), we cached (cause it was the right thing to do).

Gee I would not have found this great way to get to Hillend without the cache listings. Thanks for the Scenic Route. Took a cow and left Tassie keyring.
Found it on the Bidgee Caching Bathurst Tour.

Last one for the day. Very easy find but don't know what the view was like as it was pitch black. Little Miss '80' took the pet rock and left her mini cement frog & caterpiller. All Bridal Track caches are in clean, dry & good condition. Thanks Guys. Team '80'
Finally the black stuff and no more dust. GeoPup was getting a bit annoyed with us as he had been missing out on all the caches this morning so far. Too many burrs for him even to think about getting out of the car.
We had a great trip out to Hill End and back via the Bridal Trail and can highly recommend this trip and the caches.
