As with the previous log, I had a good long look to no avail. Seemed to be an area where geocachers had previously been and where GZ was but found nothing. Might pay to see if it is still there or has it been muggled? Thanks for showing me the salt lake. Never knew it existed.
cache is obviously missing as its not hard to find at all.
im archiving this to free up the area for other cachers to hide caches here.

Hate to say it but a DNF for me!! I looked and looked...I am sure I was staring straight at it?? will try again soon
I looking 10 minutes but no luck here, I was afraid to push my hands into the bushes [B)]
Too cold for a swim and a bit green looking though the ducks didnt seem to mind. The approach to GZ is well worn and perhaps the cache should be moved to a new location.
With geoparents staying at the nearby park - a great excuse to come here for the find. Had to be a little cautious due to birds doing what they do at this time of year. Good hide and a great time was had by floating geo kids TFTC
Waited for a muggle to be swimming away from us before we hopped into the bush and looked around. Awesome toys!
There was a muggle swimming at the time, but I think we were pretty sneaky about it.
FerretBoy went for a swim, but FerretGirl decided it was too cold and too hard. There was evidence of ?wombat diggings on the beach. Beware of sock-hugging seeds.

Now this is an interesting place to visit. It was a huge shame that the weather was less than compelling to dipping the toes, but that has just given us an excuse to come back again.
Had no problem with the cache, it was a nice easy hide in a logical place.
TNLNSL TFTC, find #538 for Echo & Spice.

What a very strange place, did not have our bathers with us so we were not able to prove the floating thing, just went for the cache which was quickly found.

What a wonderful experience!!! And yes the Keeper did float on her back and read a book!! A travel book!! Photos coming
I loved this pool or lake. If it was near my home it would be lovely and relaxing on a hot day. No time for floating today... on to the next cache.

Stood on the suggested ground cover at GZ but failed to locate the cache during 10 minutes of bush probing with a hiker's pole.
We found that the cache had slipped out of its hidey hole so it was a quick find for us. The mozzies were out in force, so we quickly signed log, replaced cache securely and went in search of a coffee.

The pool is very full at the moment with the board walk under water.

Last find for the day
Have made a couple of visits to this area and this time had to take a dip..!!! Marginally warmer that the sea
All braved the cold and swam to the pontoon and back you have to experience this once..No chance of drowning in this pool we all bobbed around like corks.

Great looking place, didn't try the water today, it was a bit chilly. A nice hide, good balance between getting it away from the lake, and not too far into the undergrowth.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
This was an interesting spot to visit while in town and thanks to the specific clue the cache was found immediately. No pets allowed in the water but nothing to stop them wandering around the edges though, doing what pets do. Oh well too cold for a dip today anyway. thanks Udderchaos.
It was getting dark and cold by the time I found this one, but I managed to tick it off before heading to the hotel. Cheers. MODU.
Found 14:00. 9th of 14 FFTD. Weekend jaunt down The South-East to escape the rat race with chizbeki. Great place to rest one's feet. Came back before tea to let the geokids have a swim. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found whilst escaping the heat in Beachport. Took a mouthful of Salty water [xx(], Left footprint in the sand. TFTC
Found at 1520 on the way to Robe. It was too cold to try out the therapeutic properties of the lake. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Would like to test this one out but today it was just too wet and windy, geokid found the cache.

Certainly a lovely spot, pity about the no camping sign but I'm sure it would be too crowded in summer anyway - TFTC
Was sooo tempted to go for a swim this morning but it likely would have been freezing.... the pool looked fantastic and blue and clear this morning though. TNLNSL.
A few muggles, but they weren't paying attention. Coordinates were right on. TNL-Missouri quarter. We're visiting from the US (Ohio). TFTC!
No muggles today and a nice easy find. Dipped the big toe in and decided water temp and wind chill too much.
Never cease to be amazed at the interesting features in this area. So much so that we extended our stay in Robe (on the caching holiday from Hobart) from 1 night to 4 nights.
TNLN Logged TBs TED and Crozet Crazy in and out.

What a great little spot. The Cache is hidden, but you are quite exposed as you find it and log, so muggles are a bit of a problem.

Really wanted to go for a dip, got up to about our knees and that was enough! Too cold! Oh well, maybe next time. Met some other geocachers here, was nice to swap notes. TNLN TFTC
Yikes, it must be my lucky day. I ht my head at the last site and got bitten by one of those huge ants which I hadn't noticed... scooped up Mr 4yo and extracted him back to safer ground. Ahhh - the things we do for adventure!
We re-hid the cace and left without signing the log. Made a bee line back to camp for a little relief care of Stingose.

Finally could approach GZ after several warm days and a duck race!!! Took friends with us. Had to pretend to loose something to safely find this one..

A quick find, with many muggles enjoying the cool waters on such a hot day, well hidden. Kids call this "The pool of Slime"
very cold very windy didn't go for a swim and didn't hang around to find the chae. look next time when the weather is better.
Would have loved a swim but it was way too cold. No muggles except for the cleaner who soon left. An easy find - left a packet of beads. TFTC
Wasnt up for a dip today but I have swum here before.
It is an amazing swimming experience.
It is an amazing swimming experience.
Unfortunately too cold for a swim. Took Compass Rose Coin, logged that I left a pencil sharpener and butterfly sticker, but actually found them in my pocket the evening. If anyone wants them they are at Jack's Point [:p].
Dropped past to show some friends how caching worked, Left Compass Rose Geocoin, Took "Hiker Macsmurf" travel bug.
Found by the youngest member of the team,A little cool for a swimm today though.Left TB

This would have to be the most scenic cache i have done in a while....not for the fauna or anything like that but the 6 European tourists who were scantily clad frolliking in the water nearby...Beautiful!!!.
Anyway tracked down the cache and got the buisness done with a truck load of friends who come down for support.
Thanks Andrew & Leesa

First log for 2006 (along with shonkylogic and a few other friends), after seeing in the New Year with fireworks at the local caravan park.
A nice easy find. I swapped a beach bug TB for an aligator. Not sure that s/logic made a swap here.
Thanks A&L for sharing another great South East location

Far too cold for swimming today on the shonky scale, but that didn't stop a muggle family from trying it in the rain. Found this one with i, dax and some muggle friends while celebrating a very wet new year at Beachport. (which turned out to be a great spot to spend New Year, with or without the rain!).
Took something and left something, I can't remember, perhaps i, dax can..?

A very quick find. Yes there is a track Virginia.
Tasted the water. I think the salt level is down at the moment. My calibrated tongue says less than ordinary sea water.

Such an easy find now that there is a pathway almost up to the cache due to the foot traffic of cachers. Nice place to be but no old people without bathers today.
Thanks Andrew and Leesa

After a quick stroll from the car, we made an easy find on this one. A very interesting place, that im betting, is unique.
Contemplated taking a swim, but figured it was a bit too cold today.

No togs so Astro had to admire the view. A few grey muggles also admired the view. I was glad they did not put their togs on. Took the compass clip and left the key ring and bottle opener.
Thanx Andrew and Leesa.
Clear skies, Astro.
Now I know what the Pool of Siloam is! A few muggles about today but they were not distracted by our search. Fairly easily found. Took 2 dinosaurs, left compass and yoyo. Thanks
We came in from the beach entry to the Millicent Beach Buggy Club up towards Nora Criena. We are ataying at Sunalnd. Had a good 4x4 run along the back roads behind the dune, pretty much avoiding that actual beach the whole way. Tides seem very high at the moment - even the low ones.
Thanks A&L! TNLN

Shalom from the Pool of Siloam!
We weren't thinking polite thoughts as we fought off the marauding midges whilst searching for the cache. The little geotrail near the water’s edge somewhat confused the search and delayed the find.
No one swimming here on this rather cool day. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache. Cheers Rav 4 Raiders

Despite the cold weather there were a six pack of mugglets swimming here today. But they were having so much fun they ignored the loan cacher making his way around the pool!
TNLNSL very inconspicuously. Cheers.

Another Andrew and Leesa cache I see! Found this one too and left a finger puppet and took a sheep, which I left in a cache in the Flinders ranges somewhere.
