The building that the cache is hidden under is being demolished. I will reactivate it when a new suitable location is found. One trackable in box will be relocated as soon as possible.
Had to wait about 15 minutes for the council maintenance guy to leave, (he was parked right there), then crawled around on hands and knees to eventually have cache in hand. TFTC
Found after a search on a break driving to Mackay this evening. Thanks for keeping this old cache going.
Found while road tripping from the sunny coast to Cairns. If you want to follow to adventure search bia4x4 on youtube or insta

Departed Melbourne many weeks ago now and have been travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel.
Finally made the northern warmth and the Cape and we have loved every minute of it now we are on our way home again and having many more adventures as we slowly travel south.
Today, we travelled from Mackay to Yeppoon (or Kinka Beach), a fairly long drive today but we broke it up with a few geocaches along the way.
A quick find on the road south
Good to see a larger container every now and then.

Thanks for that, and yes, it’s very good to see a ‘normal’ sized cache. I picked up the travel bug, and will further it’s journey.
A nice break, but no coffee. Dropped a travel bug for future finders. Has been in my possession for far too long.
Found 15:12 3/8/2023 after a coffee break. A nice LGA as it one of the names in my family . Thank you jc094st for the cache and bringing me to this location.

AustraliaA country that has fascinated me for a long time. But the distance to get there was just as great as the desire to drive there. So it was dreamed but not implemented. But then our friend nalfion moved again. And this time to Down Under. That gave the go-ahead to plan a little more firmly for the first ideas and fantasies. The bosses were asked about a longer vacation and then we went to the travel agency with our rough ideas. For such a complex thing we wanted to have support. And after a few appointments there, the basic structure was in place.During our summer holidays we went to Sydney via Singapore, where we spent 2 days. 2 days in Sydney city and then we went with a small camper van with the whole family via Katoomba to Cairns. Our friend lives in Adelaide so ended up staying there for a few more days at the hotel before heading back to Germany without any lengthy stops via Melbourne and Singapore.A wonderful holiday that at least brought us a little closer to this huge country and gave us many great memories.Taday was a road day. Which means we just stopped for little breaks and drove most of the day from Bundaberg to Mackay. So the caches today were at the Reststops we stopped and not special looked for. But the were a nice little add-on for our breaks. Thanks for the cache.
Luckily this hide was out of sight of the travellers who are staying here. Lovely to find a big container with lots of swag.
Thanks for placing a cache here.
Thanks for placing a cache here.
I don’t often get the chance to visit Central Region, but I flew into Rocky this morning and had organised a vehicle to take a drive north to find this cache and a few more on the way back into Rockhampton.
This was the first find of the afternoon. Thanks for the hide.

Mrs TiedyeSmileys looked, then Mr TiedyeSmileys looked and Mrs TiedyeSmileys said there's nothing there, don't believe me then.
There was a cache there (she looked low but not then higher again). At least we were out of view of the muggles there

Was a crazy day on the road along this stretch today, in no rush so stopped for a snack and a search. Belly full, and log book signed. So back on the road, TFTC
Headed from Rockhampton to Flaggy Rock for ice cream.

I still cannot believe just how cool Injuryman is. Man I hope to get to 1000 finds one day. Thanks for the cache
A bus load of Muggles thought I was attempting to vandalise the little building. I knew the cache was there but couldn’t search properly so just had to leave.
Quick park and grab while heading south
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
jc094st, I found Coffee Break today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found along with hubby on a way north. The coffee break was very welcomed for this driver. TFTC
We thought we’d arrived at some posh resort when we drove into this location. Remember when rest stops were a picnic table and a rubbish bin? Thanks to the placement of this cache, it was an easy find away from muggle eyes. TN/LN
TFTC and the rest stop . A lovely clean park and toilets. We stopped here 3 years ago as well. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley
So needed this stop for a coffee and toilet break. But no find. Gps kept changing direction.
No coffee on offer today, unfortunately. After a bit of a wander around with the geo-mirror I spotted the cache. Good size. I left a new, large, sparkly, butterfly brooch. Worth a favourite point. TFTC jc094st.
Well hidden but large enough to find quickly with the accurate coords. Thanks for placing it.
Helps with 2 people...one to play lookout at this busy place. Impressed with the facilities and cleanliness. Did a TB swap. TFTC
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC jc094st

2 for 2 today. Today I was picked up hitchhiking by two ladies driving back to Brisbane, and we did a rest stop here. I got muddy knees as I showed them the art of caching.

Thanks for the cache. There were a few Nigel’s around so I had to wait for them to disappear before making the find. It always nice to find a cache of this size. Thanks for the great hide.
We tried for this cache a year or so ago but couldn't do a thorough search because of the amount of muggles out and about. Today, with the constant rain we've been having, all the caravaners were tucked up inside their mobile homes so we had no problems finding the container.

**This Cache:**
This is possibly the best rest area I have ever visited!
Although I can't say I have ever really stopped at the "Free Coffee" rest area's before, as I never expected much. This was really good though, the free coffee was open and being run by volunteers, not only were they giving out free coffee but I got a free packet of shapes too! What legends!
There were HEAPS of people in caravans camping here too, and many others utilising the rest area. I heard some people talking about how this is one of the best they have come across, so for my first I must of been lucky! The volunteers were lovely too!
After my coffee and biscuits, I finally wandered over to the cache before forgetting, it was the reason I stopped in the first place!
Managed to make a quick find here thanks to the BIG container.
Awesome, take a favourite point from me as I had a great experience!

**Today:**
Day 18 of my road trip, now heading back to Canberra from the Townsville Mega Event!
Today I drove between Mackay - Theodore, it rained the ENTIRE day, but I still cached my way along the route.
I actually ran into tronador from Sydney today, which was a pretty huge coincidence now that it was well after the mega and we were no longer in Townsville! We found each other at one Earthcache, and then both headed to the same Earthcache next, which was at a cave system! This was extremely lucky as neither of us would have explored this cave alone, but now that we had a friend we entered the cave and had a bit of a look around feeling safer with the situation!
Luckily the rain radar was completely clear from 6pm, so I was able to camp out in Theodore without getting wet! Wooooo! I delayed setting up my swag until it stopped completely, and it didn't rain again, gosh I was lucky! Had a pleasant night!
Thanks to all the CO's

Day 13 of our trek to the Townsville Mega and back with fitzy_1965 and two of my geo-kids Death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Our aim today was to get to Gladstone for the night but more importantly was to drive back up to Mackay and a little west to see if we could find my grandfathers unmarked grave. After a successful mission we continued south. Not too many caches found today but made use of our time by ensuring we collected the counties we drove through. Another nice caravan park found this evening.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Thanks to all the CO’s.

It’s Mega time once again!! Woo hoo!! Love these epic road trips. After an amazing drive up Canberra - Narromine - Cunnamulla - Blackall - Winton - Charters Towers - Townsville. We had a blast at the main event. Now it is time for the trip home - with the plan being chances to explore Bowen, Rockhampton, Emerald, Roma, Lightning Ridge and Dubbo. Will see if the April rains and flooding detour us! Thanks to everyone in the region for the top quality caching. Appreciate your efforts.

Found with minniek during our Grand Townsville Trek up to CacheQLD's Townsville Mega Event over Easter.
Day 13 of our Townsville Trek, and we were on our journey south and towards home. Despite the large number of roadworks going on we made good time. We stopped here for our lunch break - and it was a very popular spot to stop as it was pretty busy and full. This cache was a pretty quick find of the container once at GZ. Nicely set up and great to grab a golden oldie. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we continued along to the next cache on our list.
Thanks jc094st !!

We met another couple of cachers while finding this one. Nice to collect an oldie on our drive home from the mega. TFTC.
Funny how when we rolled into GZ we realised we’d been to this rest stop before and never even thought to look for caches. I went in for a look and for the life of me could not find it. After what seemed like an eternity I returned to the car defeated and with my cranky pants on. I sent the other half over for a turn and when he found it within seconds I’m not sure I was happy about it. Oh well. Can’t be perfect all the time
This geocache was found on a massive drive back from the MEGA event in Townsville to Melbourne. Did the drive with my muggle wife and half/half son. Whilst the family were in tow it was difficult to geocache, but I still managed some as rest stops on the drive.
Day 2 - From Mackay to Rockhampton.
Another nice spot to stop for a rest and find a cache. And finally a reasonable sized cache that isn;t a mint tin or a nano. Last one for the day!

Caching today from Rockhampton to Mackay as we move north to Townsville for the Mega. Along the way , stopping to do some of the caches. Signed the log. TFTC
Heading north for the Townsville Mega, taking 5 days and finding caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to show us more of your local area.
This is the second day of the drive from Brisbane to Townsville and today I, along with Fangsoki, Crew 153 and 1MinnieMoo are doing the Rockhampton to Mackay leg. I've never driven north of Rocky, so this is all new to me. But, I'm in the backseat today, meaning even the notorious Marlborough stretch goes by quickly as I read and write.
In the initial plan, this geocache got missed. But having not found it previously, it popped up for me. Being both old and in a new government area for me, I was keen to add this to the list. And truth be told, I don't think the break was unwelcomed by this stage anyway!
Just three of us needed this, so we wandered from the car toward GZ. A little building was the goal but on the other side was some caravannists packing up, or pottering around; I can never tell.
Yesterday I'd injured my knee, so painfully I knelt down and looked around for the container. Thankfully it was quickly spotted and I could make a super stealthy grab. Doubtless, nobody even noticed us picking up a Sistema container a few metres from their camp! The logbook was signed and I replaced it exactly as found just before 10:00.
Nice. A new LGA, an old geocache and my third for this nine-day long adventure. Now, back in the car and time to put some kilometres behind us. Thanks for this geocache, jc094st

It was the start of our day, day two of our Trudge to Townsville, heading from Rockhampton to Mackay. The stretch of road between these towns is rather ordinary, so we had no problem breaking it up with a stop for an older cache.
Fangsoki had done this, so stayed behind at the car, while Captain Terror, Crew153 and I wandered over for the search. It only came to light later that Crew153 had already found this one before, but had no recollection of doing so, and didn’t even head in the right direction to start the hunt.
Of course there were people camped right by the building here on the other side, so our attempts at stealthy were required.
Nothing to see here folks, we just like crouching down near old buildings. Thankfully Captain Terror spotted the cache quickly, after not-so-quickly bending on his knees due to a self-inflicted injury yesterday.
Thanks for the cache jc094st.
