Seems to have been washed away in the storm we had a few weeks ago, I'll look at replacing it, but I'll have to survey the damage the storm did to the area first.
The second could not find today! After admiring the huge piles of seaweed washed onto the beach and the bushes standing about 0.4 m proud of the sand we thought we should look for the cache. The kids were too busy collecting shells to be interested in cache finding and to be honest I was more interested in the erosion from the waves and the evidence of their great size. Slowly realised that the cache must be somewhere else from its original location and that I was never going to find it.
The family was reluctant to leave the site due to abundance of shells, weeds and trash.
Anyway thanks thatguy007 for motivating us to get out and explore....

Our first DNF for the day. Had a good look up and down either side of GZ for quite a while without finding anything. The area corresponding to the hint seemed quite wet, so we hope the recent wild weather hasn't taken the cache.
Our first cache on our Tassie visit. A lovely day with beautiful weather TFTC TNLN
Great spot but the GPS was a little off and we suffered many puncture wounds before discovering it was not actually hard to get to! Left a few bandaids for the next poor fellows who make the same mistake!
Great Hide, good location and nice drive to a secluded spot (windy overcast weather scared the muggles off) TFTF
Nice spot for FPD's
Nice spot for FPD's
The closest cache to where I finished work for the day, and a relatively easy find (after investigating a couple of red herrings amongst the prickles - d'oh!). TFTC.
Found 200705081005 . I made one false turn following the arrow on the GPSr and ended up at the entrance to a farm [B)]. But where there's a mill there's a way and once on the correct path, an easy find was enjoyed

A different view of the area, and a nicely placed cache, not too hard to find, but unlikely to be accidentally discovered. Thanks thatguy007.
The plane had just landed and I was nearby. So what better way to start my Tas trip with this cache. TNLN thanks thatguy007.
Well placed.
Great views.
Watch out for thew spikey bushes.

Found by Sirius while dodging horse riding muggles and dog walking muggles. Top location, everything calm and wonderful today. Cheers Quilter
Nice cache, the water today was dead flat, looked great while we were there. We all managed to get prickled though. Like everyone else in the logs we were amazed at the good condition of the cache considering the area. We thought we knew this part of the coast, for non-locals anyway, but this area was new. TNLNSL. Good one, thanks.
Easy find.Amazed it's lasted so long.Cache surprisingly dry and in top order.TNLNSL.Cheers TG
Last of twelve finds for the Devonport day of my assault on Northern Tasmania. It was still blowing a gale, which probably kept the fishermen away. I don't know about being afraid of driving into the sea, but I thought I was going to be blown into it when I approached GZ. Thankfully, it was a quick find at 1615. I made no exchange; just bolted back to the warmth of the car. Thanks to thatguy007 for the cache.
Lovely spot and good hide managed it with a few muggles about at sunset - someone riding their horse along the beach. Amazed the cache not washed away - it's in great nick. T sticker L stickers
found while walking with mama tack found heaps a prickles as well t somthing l something else sl thanks that guy
Found this one as my last for the day. There was muggles everywhere but i managed to cover myself by parking the car just about on the cache Lovely area out here, was a bit off a dull day but a cache find always maked the day a bit brighter.
Left an army man...out of sheer habit...
Thanks Thatguy loved it

First cache find by torch light easy find although easy to get prickled in the dark. And it was a good time to be out there as the muggles had long gone home.
After dodging maniac drivers down the road into the sea, finally arrived at the cache unscathed. Took Green Car and left a pig headed goat.
Very peaceful, no wind ... and the only muggle close by was very interesting to talk with! (After retrieving and replacing the cache )
Co-ords were spot on for us today! In fact, soooo spot on that, while I was still attaching Zoe's lead to her collar to go a-hunting, Mr Waterwells was emerging with the cache in hand.
Took scented candle / Left pack of teaspoons.
It's a great 'first hide'. Thankyou, we enjoyed it!

Found Very Easy..The Hardest Part Was Waiting For All The Muggles To Leave..Very Cold Day!!!!Took Glow Sticks & Left Street Machine Car
Found after pulling up at GZ and seeig a familiar face loitering in the area
Got stage fright while Horus was watching me, so it took a lot longer than it should have.....especially since I went to the right spot in the first instance, just didn't look hard enough.
Watched one of the local birds come in to land!
Nice one ThatGuy!

What is it with people and prickly bushes? And this one had barbed wire to contend with too! And to add to the scratches and scrapes it was hellishly windy today and I forgot to bring a jumper, brrrrrrr.
Took me awhile to find this one, searched high and low, all to no avail. Nabbed it in the end though - after about 15 or so minutes I guess, nice one 007 for a first hide.
Was just about to leave when I got "parked in" by a familiar Cache Whore(tm) from the north. I had to stick around to watch his prowess, it's not often one gets the chance to watch a master at work! It's so much fun watching someone else find a cache when you know where it is, you get the overwhelming urge to yell out 'It's right in front of you, you bloody blind git", but you have to keep the frustrations in check - a good 20 minutes or so of entertainment
TNLNEtE - thanks thatguy007

More lunchtime caching! Plenty of seaweed here - luckily no muggles to overhear all the expletives after stabbing myself on the savage shrubbery!
Nice one thatguy thanks

ftf - found on my way to Wilmot to watch the Targa Cars.
I'd never been here berore, nice spot obviously popular but not this early in the morning
I now know where to come if ever I need seaweed for the gargen.
Took Nothing, left Frog.
Thanks That Guy, nice one for your first.

Well, our first TG cache experience went well. Nice hide, nice container too. Does that mean you've had lots of cause to use first aid recently, and managed to empty the box... or are you throwing caution to the wind?
Man, you really can't go to any cache any more without seeing the handwriting of the alkaline solo man on the first page!
When we got it I thought, surely Energizer couldn't beat us to this one, Targa's on today, he'll be off watching the cars! Seems you can do both activities in one day! Damn!
No matter, we enjoyed the trip, the captain particularly likes the nearby beach to run on, and the seaweed to roll in!
Thanks ThatGuy! Nice first effort... bring 'em on!
