Not able to get a check done on this cache. With the development work in the area recently it is likely that this cache (and it's hide) are gone.
I scrambled around for a while looking in likely spots but without success. The CO should check on this one.
Looks like this one may have gone walkabout. Will check - if it's gone this one will probably be archived
After 10 minutes of searching no find for today
I saw some good spots where the cache could of been

Another great vantage point to see some lovely views. The Blue Pool looked nice, but it was a bit cold today to go for a dip. After a little bit of mountain goating we reached the cache to find it safe and sound. TFTC geodementia!!!
As I drove into Bermagui with my GC-tolerant friend he said he wanted to try and find a rock pool that he had seen a photo of. I figured that if it was a local landmark there may well be a geocache there and after a quick scan of the geocaches in the area I spotted this one. Bingo! We wandered down to check out the pool (no-one swimming today) but we did spot some curious dark swimmers further out. Thanks to the previous logger with the binoculars for confirming for us that they were seals and not seaweed! After making our way back up the stairs we headed off to find the geocache and eventually managed to find it a bit higher than expected. TFTC!
Checked out the pools from the viewing platform before heading off to look for this one. The big pool looked good but the small one looked a bit slimy. Couldn't believe that there was a muggle swimming and another about to get in. We were rugged up just watching them!
Also interesting was a group of seals out in the water. We debated for some time whether it was kelp or seals. Went and got the binoculars and it was seals just laying around with their flippers up. They stayed that way for the half hour or so we watched them.
I suppose I should mention the cache. It was quickly found after following a bit of a geotrail.
Thanks, a top spot to visit.

Certainly too chilly for me for a swim but a couple was when I arrived this morning. TFTC
We spent about 15min looking for this cache the weather was extremely windy and choppy and my father in law was out in his boat fishing for marlin my poor mother in law was standing at the lookout with binoculars trying to see if she could see his boat. He was fine! We found the cache but it needs maitnce as it was distoryed and there was no log book in it for us to sign
First find for the morning, followed by a swim then brekky. Thanks for the great spot
A visit to Blue Pool this morning, and a little walk off the track soon had us at GZ. A great spot.
Thanks

GOOD hide!
First visit to Australia, visiting our oldest daughter who lives in St Ives. What a wonderful country! We are having the most beautiful weather. Reminds us of South Africa, our homeland.
BEAUTFUL AREA.
A picture is worth a thousand words - confucius
Greetings from South Africa.

As was said, the path is a bit slippery & so is the wildlife. It was only a small lizard but he held his ground until the last minute. The wind was up today but the view was still magnificent. Kutgw
What an amazing spot! We were lucky enough to see an echidna when walking down the steps towards the blue pool, it crossed the path right infront of us!
We also spotted some whales splashing in the ocean. Lots of muggles were whale watching, we managed to slip off the path, find the cache and return without being noticed.
Loved this spot. A huge TFTC!

After some news of whales coming through, we headed down to Blue Pool to have a look. No luck. Had better luck finding this cache though. The Dangerous Duck trackable is still in the container. TFTC
Good hide! But of a challenge during school holidays which just made it more fun to find! TFTC
FTook The Woofer down the coast for a couple of nights, and used the opportunity to bring our cache count closer to 1000! It took us 8 hours to get to Bermagui, but we found over 40 caches, and had an absolute ball - with some of the most creative hides we've ever seen.
A nice easy find. Left some goodies. TFTC!

It is a long weekend in Canberra and a welcome trip away as work has been hectic the last few weeks. I was pleased to accept an initiation to stay with fellow geocachers Boeing737 & Jetfuselage (hope you're looking after my plane Will). The south coast is beautiful this time of year, however, with the warmer weather, the reptiles are on the move and I spotted numerous lizards and two black snakes.
I was surprised how quiet it was, I thought there would be a few Canberra cachers about, but no: just me. Forgive the generic logs.
Another spot with amazing views. There were a few brave swimmers down below and seals out on the rock. No whales though. Left a TB.
TFTC geodementia. Thanks very much for the guided tour around this beautiful part of the coast. I look foward to my return.

A bit windy today, but the sun is shining. Spotted the seals out having fun, then found this very nice cache. Container has small holes in the lid - rats? I replaced the logbook plastic bag. TFTC.
the lid of the cache is well worn. and won't be waterproof
I'd recommend it be replaced. I would have done it but didn't have the required tools

Nice easy find while out watching the seals. Didn't sign log as I didn't have a pen, and the pencil in container was broken. TFTC.
Out and about with Deep_99 on a coastal road trip. TFTC. Love this series- takes us to some really scenic spots
#4397 - 20:45; The day had finally arrived to head to the coast with fitzy_65 and mtrax to give the SST and BFH series a run. The initial plans had been hatched with f65 a while ago, with mtrax joining in after a chat about forthcoming plans at a recent event. We had stopped for a couple of caches in Nimmitabel, along with a pie and a coffee at the local bakery before heading on to Bemboka for a couple more. We had started on the main mission of the SST heading north on the Princes Highway, passing through Quaama and Cobargo. Despite a few DNFs along the way we had now completed that part of the mission and were now headed along the Wallaga Lake Road through Wallaga Lake and then on to Bermagui where we planned to collect some of the local caches and spend the night. After checking into the motel, a hot shower and a hot meal and a couple of coldies at the local just up the road, our intrepid team set off on foot in search of a few more caches to wrap up day one of our expedition. This was a reasonably quick find after making the climb down to GZ. TFTC geodementia

another one found by the light of the moon after dinner.. walking around picking up some of the local caches before tomorrow.
Last cache of the day and what a big day it was about 17,000 steps as well
Weekend away mission down south coast mainly for the SST series, the start of the trip down brown mountain boy that was pretty cool and by that I mean cold but once we push out of the mountain it warmed up pretty good to a glorious day, and the drive was pretty good .
Came in from Bega and headed towards bermagui for the night Some where hard and some where easy
Found with Fitzy65 and LuckyL1on
Note need to update some of the D/T to reflect they aren't all the same.
thanks geodementia

# 10159. Our first day on the SST Trail and it turned into quite an epic day. We left Tuross Head at 9.20am and got back again about 10 hours later, having covered 200km and getting a total of 43 caches for the day (not all SST caches). We fell short of Tathra by about 9 caches. We had 2 DNF's on the trail also.
Rob has done this one previously but we detoured in here for me to find it. Oh what a wonderful swimming pool - I stood up the top and gazed longingly at it. It must be the best pool in Australia I reckon. A lot of people were swimming peacefully as the waves crashed onto the rocks along the front. Just gorgeous.
Made the short detour into the bush for the cache and signed the log. Now off to the other one not too far away.
Thanks geodementia

We have made our camp at Bega & joined up with pprass to do the SST & others that we pass along the way in this pretty country side.
It was a very full day & we have done about half the track. Some great hides & a variety of containers.
Thanks for placing this cache geodementia

Found at 3:35 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
Was dropped at the top, walked down - made a small detour, found the cache and then met the others at the bottom.
We then took pictures of the pools and the coast.
Thanks geodementia.

Plans were put into place to spend the Canberra Day long weekend down at Bega collecting some caches with FurfacesLL. We cached along the way and picked up a fair few across the whole weekend.
It was day 2 (the MAIN day) of the caching weekend. Today we had it planned to do the entire SST loop starting at Bega and finishing at Bega. We grabbed a couple SST caches last night, but today we will be targeting all the others.
We set off nice and early, and managed to complete the entire loop. We found ALL of the SST caches except for one at the old hall (which was occupied by some drunks). A big shout out to the CO for the efforts that would have been involved in establishing this series!! Cudos!! There were some amazing containers, each varied in designs which made for a wonderful caching day. We had lunch at Cobargo (we were starving by this time) and we snacked for dinner. We collected as many caches as we could along the way, mostly SST but there were also others along the way. Apologies for the generic logs, just know, we had a wonderful time and we enjoyed the range in difficulties of these caches also!
Thanks geodementia for the placement of this cache, we had a great weekend [^] Thanks for the company FFLL, had a great time as always

With the warm weather still around a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to head off again on another adventure. We headed down from Canberra on Friday afternoon after getting an early mark from work. Our hotel was comfortable and after getting a good nights rest we were ready for day 2. Our plan today was to attack the SST trail and others along the way and hope that we find all of them.
Apologies for the generic log, we had a cracker of a time around this area. Thanks RW for another fun weekend away.
The SST trail contained some easy finds and some not so easy finds, which was great, we also enjoyed the various container sizes and types used. We collected all but one in the trail due to some muggles who were enjoying themselves a little too much for our liking to approach to conduct a search. Which means we will have to return another day to this lovely area to collect the last in the trail.

Great location! Took two attempts this one as the red belly black was looking for the cache last time... But finally we "nailed it!"
A couple of days on the south coast and a few smilies to snare. Wow what coastal town wouldn't love this. A pod of several whales just happened to be passing by too.
Thanks geodementia
