Choosing the right track would have made this cache much easier, but a nice place to wind down after work.
Thanks for bringing us here to such an isolated place.
Took High Profile geocoin. It's been out here for too long & it's time for it to move along.

Have tried to find the ufo landing site on a number of occasions before, obviously this time we took the right track! Beautiful day to be out and about, clear blue skies and a slight breeze. Found the cache after a short stroll and admired the view. Left GeoCoin and took pretty stone. TFTC.
1051 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on an outback take your mate and his wife for their first look at William Creek trip at 1340.As the crew had just had a big feed at one of the 2 local eating places no-one wanted to go for the drive except us.The road conditions were good and it didn't take long to find the "Monsters".What a wounderful place it is here. The Mrs and I just love the serenity of these wide open places.Took Peeler Left Protractor.Tnx myall blues.
this was Mrs pjamesk's first find with out any help
came out here with my parents and Grand farther who is 94 and lives in Andamooka. Glade I had borrowed a 4X4 as I don't think it would have done the hire care much good.
I wasn't until i got back that I was told the 4X4 wasn't registered.

Accompanied with sevabo, she found it before me. wow beauty view.... We have a good fun drive along to the cache. Dropped the Ned Kelly TB. SL. Thanks myall_blues for organising the cache and hunt.
Gee, wow and silence of calm twilight in the desert, not sure if its loch ness there see photo... found it with Everlasting. Thanks for bringing us there.
Arrived at GZ about 15 minutes after sunset. In the serene silence of calm twilight in the desert you can your heart beat. The clink, clunk and clack of the gibber is amazing.
Second time I have been to the banks of this lake. A truly wonderful place. After recent rain there is even some water in the nearby Teatree Creek. I would love to see the view with the lake filled.
Now for the slow drive out in the Mazda 6, which made the trip in fine style. Missed most of the rocks on the track.
Loved the fence that ends in the middle of nowhere. Once more shonky maps shows the details that other miss.

About 15 years ago we visited the area before GPS's and drove right up to the location. This time we took the wrong track and ended up 1.3kms further north than we should have been. I then bogged the car on the way out and it was getting dark. Hence we didn't get to the cache.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys -Desert to rainforest to desert trip 08.

Ever wondered what you get when you cross a Space Race Base Place & Lochiels Monster?
Well now I know - Salty Aliens
A great spot for the final find on a two week trip up North.
Followed this find with a nice lunch in Roxby then a dash back to Adelaide for dinner
Cheers, thanks for the experience of another of these awesome locations.

The 4WD made the trip seem like I was on Nth Terrace. The crunching sound on the boots as you walk around is incredible - like walking on brittle iron and just as damn hot! Saw the aliens which reminded me of Loch Iel's Monster (GCNXYG).
Thanks to Cherie and Stu found after a slow drive. Lake still empty but still a nice view.
Took alien GC to land in another cache shortly.
Took Pocket knife
Left blue glass stone

Certainly a mush do cache, it was worth driving out here. I towed my offroad Caravan in and out with no problems
Left an Alien TB here but
I've forgotten to write down the number
Thanks myall_blues for bringing me out here

On every day of this trip there seemed to be one cache that stood out from the others and this one got my vote for the day.
So glad we were able to make the side trip and see the aliens.
No probing for us today but we did find the cache and the sign which was a great laugh.

Found by Team GeoCoopers.
One of the caches for our 1500km weekend drive up around the top of Lake Torrens, with Piggy.
Not a place to get two flat tyres when it was well above 40 out here.
Thanks Myall_Blues

Found with TGC & SAS, highly suggest droppng the tyre pressure a bit for this type of rocky road, we shoved a rock thru one tyre and a slow leak on another!
Enjoyable spot changing a tyre in the 40 degree + heat (not)...

Interesting site, worth the detour. Don't know if I would drive this track in a low sedan that I cared for. Took green frog, left poly string.

Found at 3pm on a pleasant day. This is one desolate place! Took snake, left green car and replaced container to save myall_blues a possibly long trip. Interesting place, but don't know if I'd come back Thanks
Whew - after nearly 18 months I was beginning to think that a visit to this cache would never happen. Thanks to Mac and Missus. I will replace the container at my first opportunity.

Found by Mac & Missus with some 4wd club friends at 11.03am. If coming to this cache, please bring a new container, as the sun has got to the original one. Make sure you take the 'right' track to lake. TNLN. Many thanks
