Well it looks like the cache has gone to the same place as the dead bird - so until I can generate a new one, this will have to be offline,

regards,
~Belgarath~

Looked in the rocky beds, found a dead bird but nothing else in that one . Time to decode that clue.

08-Mar-06
Spent ages looking for this one, looked in most of the garden beds and nearly cut my hand on glass, i didnt see any bird... so i am either looking in the wrong place or the bird has flown the coup, however i have read an re-read the clues and iam positive i was in the right spot. I am returning tonight for another look.

27-Feb-06
can I log this one again since it has moved from where I found it [?]

23-Feb-06
Circled around the block in the Barra Bus to find GZ. Parked and entered the area.

This bird has been there 4 months now, at least he has been of great assistance in it's after life to us Geocachers.

I turned over and moved nearly every rock in that spot, twas about to throw in the towel, and there it was lying on top of my many piles. Coooooooooool cache. SL

Cheers from the Barramundi's

Found on way home. Place was very devoid of muggles on a Saturday!! Wink
Had a pretty good idea where to look, and was confirmed by the bird! ewwww!!!

Thanks

Found easily in the end... nearby doing a training course this week.

I must say all the clues make sense once you find it.. Wink

02-Jan-06
Decoded clue before leaving home. Bird still there so for all you future intrepid cachers, if you find it you're in the right spot Razz. Obviously TNLN but glad to sign the log. Thanks Belgarath.

19-Dec-05
Had my second look tonight again with no luck.
GPSr had me going to a few spots but turned up nothing except the dead bird.

Found at 21:00
Feeling in the dark, I found a dead bird - eurgh!

15-Nov-05
My very first South Australian cache! Love the very devious container! I also had time to check out the volleyball games (I love this idea of beach volleyball right in the middle of a city....)

Thanks for the cache Belgarath.

Geez... Sounds like there's other geocachers with as painful a sense of humour as I have, when writing hints... *groan*

Great location, sneaky fun cache, thanks Belgarath Smile

26-Oct-05
Found by Mary & David at 1145. Soon identified the appropriate GZ and, after some leaf and/or stone turning, found the unusual cache container and logged our visit. Our thanks to Belgarath.

23-Oct-05
In the city today so took the opportunity to find this one. Glad I had gone to the trouble of decoding because I would probably have never found it otherwise! A very devious hide indeed!
Cheers.

FTF on the new incarnation of this one, the previous visits were at the old one when it was always locked off. Took about 3 minutes searching with the info supplied, nobody around on a Sunday lunchtime after the 4WD show. Signed the log and back in it's nice hiding spot. Thanks Belgarath.

30-Sep-05
Hi Watchers - today I visited the cache and have determined that the original cache housing design is not up to scratch with the use, so I have designed and placed a new cache which is also a micro - perhaps better described as 'nano-cache' in size, which has been locaed in a 24x7 access area and is not underwater! however... a small pre-enabling hint - you will need to turn over a new leaf... or stone to find it...
anyway, I'll reword and describe the cache in the next few days so stay tuned..and good hunting. And dont forget to take a fine point pen - yep no crayons.

29-Sep-05
listing updated...new cache online !

14-Sep-05
This was my 3rd attempt in grabbing this cache, until now couldn't because of muggles or finding the gate locked.
I didn't relize this cache was unavailable until now.
Log was very wet and I also was unable to log my find. I did take a photo of cache in hand from my telephone to confirm it.

TNLN
Thanks Belgarath for this cache

04-Sep-05
Seems some maintenance is needed for the cache, pls check back later !

03-Sep-05
Found with smileygal and James. Fantasic cache, my favorite so far. As already logged, log book was a bit wet and we were unable to sign it.

03-Sep-05
Found with Elmohair and James. This was a great one. We were thinking that we would have to come back, but i had a great recoevery team. Loved it, thanks for a great find Belgarath. Btw the log was too wet so we were unable to log our find...

Last of six finds this morning, wandering around downtown Adelaide during rush hour - this one was great fun! When I arrived there were smokers right by the geo-feature. But that was nothing compared to the office worker who's office is just about arm's reach from the cache, and who's desk directly faces it! He and I got a good look at each other while I tried not to act too suspicious, but I found a way to retrieve the cache when he wasn't looking. GREAT cache container, I like it! Cache is surprisingly dry and in great shape - TNLN, signed the log, and waited for just the right moment to return it safely and undetected. One of my favorites in the city - TFTC!

Don't come here on a Sunday morning as the gates are shut and you can't get close to the cache. Having said that, we befriended the owner who kindly allowed us in for a little while. He was very interested to learn about geocaching, and even more surprised that there had been a cache hidden in his sbhagnva for a few months. The contents were a little waterlogged, but the plastic bag appears sound. Thanks Belgarath for my wet sleeve!

27-Jul-05
This was a very clever hide. Attempted this one about a month ago, but did not find it. Came back today with my friend ParrotHead. His eagle eyes spotted it immediately. I managed to grab it without falling in. Happy to log my initials in on this one! Thanks much, from this Minnesota, USA gal!

Ahh... Beer and caching,
I had a wonderfull tour around Adelaide with NLT this afternoon.
Luckily for me I had a recovery team to extract the cache.
No sooner had I pointed out were I believed it to be than she had it in hand.
It was a fun afternoon and this one brings up my 430th cache.

19-Jul-05
Had the joy of watching posspet boys get his sleave wet doing this one. Which was made even funnier by the fact that it was only 5 degrees outside!!

19-Jul-05
It was a lot further than I thought and even though I saw it from the distance I still got my shirt really wet. Setsujoku really enjoyed himself watching me get wet.

17-Jul-05
Nearly fell in and wet myself, sh... it was cold, lucky we found it. OLIAN

17-Jul-05
A very well disguised container. Nearly missed it but with OlIan also thinking it was it I rolled up my sleeve and in I went. It was freezing and could not reach it. After some effort from OLIan I was able to reach it. A little wet but soon dried out and entered find.

Thanks Belgarath a great 1st cache

Team nibbler and i had a lot of spare time after lunch at cafe primo, so a quick caching run was in hand. Since we are now working about 20m from this, it was an easy choice, along with the courtyard.

After scoping out a couple of different options, the eventual winner was spotted. Team nibbler's arm was too short. After retreiving it was decided that we needed to do the courtyard so that my sleeve could dry, without anyone asking why.

08-Jul-05
Well done! I had though it had lost interest!.
thanks for the log.

08-Jul-05
Beautifully hidden cache. Bit hard to explain wet clothing when going back to work. This area fairly busy so pick your time to visit

08-Jul-05
Successful on our second attempt. No one around today to hinder our searching. Well done Belgarath.

17-Jun-05
Found the fountain. Tried getting a bid wet without any luck. Any more hints? Will be back in Adelaide again.

11-Jun-05
What can I say, tried firstly at night (didn’t have any paper work with us)
Gate locked. Tried next day about 9 oclock in morning on Saturday,
Gate locked. Tried next day about 11 oclock in afternoon ,
Gate locked. Later Damm
Gate still locked Monday morning as well just wasn’t meant to be.
Pretty area to work by the looks of it.
Thanks anyway Belgarath.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan.

31-May-05
Found on the sixth visit. I won't tell you about the two visits were the gate was locked and the visit where I finally spotted it but didn't have the courage to pluck it out.

Wouldn't mind working there.

Knee deep.

23-May-05
Spent some time in the location in my clever scientist uniform. Took a water sample and a lot of pictures. Didn't find a cache though. I suspect this frog is looking in the wrong part of the pond.

19-May-05
Yep, its still there... good luck..

13-May-05
Nada. Is it there?

12-May-05
Did not dare look too hard for this one as there was a muggle peering at us through his office window!
Oh well, maybe next time...

11-May-05
Yeah!!Big Grin
I can recommend 7:10am on a Wednesday morning except for that pesky deli owner who wanted to sweep forever he should've had customers to worry about, I really wanted to translocate him for while there. TNLN oddly enough but did manage to SL. My hands were so cold afterwards. Thanx Old Wolf it was a fun challenge can't wait to see the next one.

09-May-05
Well Old Wolf a it's very nasty spot well done, Pol might even be impressed!! I don't recommend lunchtime either, I think I know where it is and sat down next to it but the muggles having lunch and the muggle in the office right next to it with the blinds open just made me too nervous. I shall return but the options of when are becoming limited!!

09-May-05
Also not accessable at 7:30 in the morning.

Will try again later today

08-May-05
Area also not accessible Sundays from the look of it. Gates were firmly locked. Tried about midday and Skippy tried a bit later. Another time.

06-May-05
First to log but not first to find – beaten by TeamAstro (again!!). A convienient cache to grab on my way to work. Had absolutely no sat lock but in the end I didn’t need it. Clever hide for your first cache, Belgarath. I do wonder how difficult it will be to keep the log dry though, might I suggest to others that you bring a tissue or paper towel, it might help….

Nice to get a FTF for once [^]. Great first cache Mssssrs Belgarath. While I love chess and prophesising, I felt like a raw prawn there for a while, going into be deep fried so early in the day. Luckily I had my chamois with me. Left mark, that’s all.

Thanks and clear skies, esp today from this pleasant environ.
TeamAstro.
