Logs
Not long after midnight... we found the white bag mentioned a few logs earlier, but nothing else, and I can see it's now archived.
Only noticed the string of DNF too late....so we clambered up yet another hillside and left empty handed..
A terrible muggled scene! Contents strewn everywhere and no container. Put into a white plastic bag (all i had on me and reported to owner for attention).
Sent the youngest member of the crew to see what they could find and it wasn't long before they were back with cache in hand! Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Found while waiting for boys rugby game at the Oval to start. TFTC

A night find with fluffyduck38. Was hoping we wouldn't come across any tramps sleeping under the bridge. TFTC
Madness alright !! Crawling under a bridge in the dark. Fortunately no homeless folk camped here tonight !
Time for one last cache before heading back to the NZ Masters Games. A quick scramble and find. That IS very solid rubber isn't it?

Mum took me caching today with a couple of friends. Lots of fun searching for the caches. TFTC
I went with mum to find this one while at home for Christmas. So of course, we spent the whole weekend caching!
PLace was completely deserted at like 7am on Christmas morning! Mum was looking a little bit off, so it was me who spotted it first, due to luck really. An easy find, and a pretty decently sized container too! Managed to quickly sign the log, place it back, and off to find some more it was then after that! Speedy much?

First find on Christmas day, and a quick one, too, thanks to sonia26642's good spotting skills. I don't think I've ever seen the place sooo deserted... TFTC!!
The third find for the day with ingidayna. So happy to find this one as had looked once before at night and were unsucessful. Container was not the colour we were expecting. Dropped off Illusion TB. TFTC
Had not planned to get this but while we were walking past, Z of "bedaz" talked me into it. A quick scramble when no muggles were looking and a 2 minute search saw us triumphant!! TFTC
This one took me a long time to find and I needed to read the previous logs before I got it.
Took Stay in the light! Coin.

Thanks very much to the previous cacher for the replacement. I've been meaning to get this one on my way home from work for a while but its always been dark when I get here, so was good to grab on a public holiday. TFTC
See our previous note...and, to mjbnz: the new cache is buried deep in ivy behind metal pole in the area described in the cache hint
Couldn't rest on 100 so tried this fella. Easy find...BUT! It was missing! The only sign was 'geocaching' rules sheet, log book and scattered remains of donations. After scouring the area and gathering all cache remains...we bought a new 1 litre sistema from the Pak n Save and replaced this cache. Hope it's safe.
Whew! We found it! Spent quite a bit of time searching for it, taking the hint literally. Had we totally ignored the hint, we would have found the cache much faster.
Had a quick look while out on a run, without GPS, remembered hints and found it after a short fossick.
Left a Wild Bean Cafe (BP on site coffee joint.) key tag loyalty card, 1 purchase on it and unregistered, enjoy you java fiends!

Found with Mr B on our Dunedin raid which included 86 finds for the day. Found on an after dinner night run. It would certainly be complete madness to attempt this from the top. Followed instructions carefully and made the find quickly. Thanks.
GPS led us to the spot even here, and cache was soon in hand. Nice to do at night. TFTC.
Finally found it!! Was on the wrong side of the road to start with, then worked out roughly where it should be using your clue. Looked everywhere for it and was about to give up when Bingo, saw it in plain view, lol. Great hiding spot. TFTC.
Certainly do take these features for granted, it was good to be able to carry out thhe search with vehicles passing overhead and not even a tremble.
Thanks

Went on a caching marathon today, trying to see how many we could get in one day. Number 14 for the day, nice cache. Thanks!
Today S-L-P (a.k.a cousin Sarah) and I attempted a bit of a caching marathon, the aim was to get at least 50 finds in 24hrs. Our efforts were hindered somewhat by a later than expected start to the day, meaning we missed out on a good four hours of caching. This cache is where we started our marathon effort (which hasn't yet finished, we are just home at the moment throwing together a few logs while we wait for a delicious pot roast to keep us going for a few more hours) so it was number 14 for today.
We had the log book in hand and stamped with our Uber-caching-mega-marathon-super-stamp on 17 January 2011 at 14:14:00.
This one badly needs a new log.

Would never have stopped but for the cache so thanks for the engineering heads up.
A quick find while in the area getting the tires on our truck changed. Log Book needs replacing!!! TFTC [^]
Nice easy find. Very interesting to see underneath. Thank you. Pulled in on our way out of town.
Needs a new log book and the loose pages inside stapling together. The top page of the log book was wiped away by the wind as we opened it. We were able to retrieve it from a tree it got hooked on (luckily). We placed a rock in the container to stop this happening again.
Found after a short search on a late evening walk whilst staying in Dunedin. Unfortunately I had forgotten to take my torch with me so a bit of groping around in semi-darkness was necessary. Fortunately success came fairly quickly using the hint. Signed log, TFTC.
A quick find but found the cache contents scattered about. Placed remaining log pages and back in cache and rehid.
Drove past the Brook and Plod was breath testing on a Sunday lunchtime. All clear of course and they helped me find the right overbridge!
Stopped on the motor way and jumped over...... no no, just joking.
Parked down the bottom and walked up.

Found with my workmate on our way back to the office. A good place to stop and shelter from the rain for a bit! Didn't have GPSr but was able to find the cache based on recollection of the description. Took the opportunity to admire the earthquake pads (I remember seeing the exhibit about these at Te Papa).
TNLN, TFTC!

Quick stop and grab whilst out shopping.
Sent a small boy to retrieve it rather than getting arrested for loitering myself...!!

Quick dash on my way to work. Easy find. Took a quick look at the rubber supports - very cool! Eyed suspiciously by a female passerby in a suit. TFTC!
