Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the problems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible to be Unarchived.

WP3 using the information given with number 6 ending up in a farmers
gateway, so went up another road towards the Forthside quarry to no
avail. We are beginning to wonder if the number(s) for Kelcey Tier are
correct. Maybe the number on the green electrical box has been turned
upside down and should be 9, not six ...... or a mistake with the E 146
1C.(BxB)9C where the 9 is incorrect making the last digits could be 6C
(where C might be 6 or 9). Bit of a stretch though requiring a bit of
testing and checking on Google Maps to see where you end up.
Our best take on this is the Melrose Caravan Park and Quarry entrance
sign, given the mention to L. Eugenana and swimming. Don't know about
the rose reference though.
Websites give the entrance fees at $5 for both the caravan park and the
Arboretum. You have to actually drive into the Arboretum to see the
entrance price though, and there is no access to swimming.
Prior to $5 at the Arboretum it was by donation, but the lake and
caravan park may have been less at $2 or $3 maybe.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Somehow by using the co-ordinates and formula above with C=6 and D=5 we
got to some signs on Paloona Dam Rd not far from the bridge over the
river, and found the 184? date (which we can divulge if you like) which
took us to Forth township and the number in concrete on the side of the
bridge. Then things went haywire again, and co-ords took us into the
middle of D'port. Using local knowledge and knowing that we were going
to end up on the Don Heads we found the last waypoint at the mouth of
the river (west side) which gave us the co-ords for GZ.

Have had a bit of a go with this one but no lick. Have been in contact with rhubarbroad that found it last and they did heaps of guessing to get to the final cache. It looks like the owner Thatguy007 is no longer geocaching so looks like this one need to be archived. Pity as it takes you around some nice countryside.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Well this was a bugger of a cache ! Several misfires with co-ordinates, which did not compute no matter how many different connotations of mathematics were employed. However a bit of local knowledge allowed us to move on to the final way point, and arrive with great relief at GZ.
Finds are a long way apart as recorded in the log book. Is there some checking needed ?
Well, anyway thanks for the cache and a lot of kms. which we used to show some visitors around the district.

Tassie Trip day - 20 Today saw us travel to the devonport are again to investigate a couple of Multi caches however both were unsuccessful loosing it through the course of getting to GZ.
After a great start and some great success we got to WP3 with no problems however a spot that was indicated by our caclulated WP4 was along a road that the GPS said was there but as we traveled along the road we came to a spot ~150M from the location and a shut gate with a number on the fence and a letterbox next to it we decided that was not the correct way we then traveled many roads in the area but alas we could not get to the indicated position. however the view from WP3 was spectacular.
Thanks thatguy007 for showing us a great series of places to stop and look around we had spent 20Min to get to WP3 and then another 20Min trying to get to WP4 dam that road being closed.

Found in about 4 hours. One thing you learn though is that if you don’t do the math correctly then it takes longer than necessary. A great journey today and it certainly killed some of the time I have on my hands waiting for this evening’s ferry. TFTC
Not too worried about the time frame for this one. We had forgotten all about this multi as when your on the webpage page it is hidden behind another cache marker. Spotted it this morn and decided to make a start on it. Found wp1 easy and wp2 but it has left us a little confused. We know where to go for wp3 but as there is more than one box along the rd we need to b certain of which one before moving on. We drove to wp3 regardless and enjoyed the lights and made note of the box numbers so we can pinpoint the right coords from home on googlemap before continuing further at a later date.
Hi thatguy007
What a massive multi!
Can't tell you how long it took me as I combined finding the WPs for this cache with the location of other caches on two or three visits to the Coast; but I can tell you I did lots of kms and used a lot of petrol - when I find your address I'll send you the bill - but thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Found and logged the cache at 1229hrs without crossing but walking near the fence.
Great views from up here! A little windy but that did not spoil my experience.
TFTC and cheers

Found it while searching for another cache nearby - had all oft he clues lined up so did both in the one trip. TFTC - left a Port Power keyring - cache in very good condition!
We collected the information from the waypoints way back in January 2010. However when we went to walk to the final waypoint we were "greeted" by numerous uninviting signs basically warning people to keep off private land. Over the last 18 months we have intermittently looked at ways we might get to GZ without trespassing (or at least, not get caught trespassing!) but never mounted an excursion. Tonight we were in an area looking for another cache (unsuccessful) and we thought we would go up and see if the land owner had mellowed over time and if the signs were still in place. To our surprise - no signs and considerable refencing. We assume that the landowner had originally put a side fence down the line of his property and continued it over crown land until the cliffs but once he had put up the "No Trespass" signs, someone had taken umbridge and found out that the land owner had illegally fenced crown land. The land owner has put in a new fence parallel to the cliffs and it leaves a wide strip on the seaward side of his property for public access across the Don Heads. The public can again walk across the Don Heads on crown land without going onto private property. Seeing this, we set off and after about 10 minutes got to GZ. A quick search and the cache was in hand. The logbook is quite damp. So we have brought it home overnight to dry it out and will return it to the hide by midday tomorrow (4 December). This multi has taken us nearly two years to complete but we can remember that getting the information from the first eight waypoints back in January 2010 was very enjoyable. Now that the final waypoint is easily accessible again by the high road, we strongly recommend this cache to all geocachers. Please take care around the electric fence if you have mini cachers with you. TFTC thatguy007

Found with Tassie Trekkers, did the multi over a couple of days while up in Devonport for the Geosports event. Enjoyed the multi but left the cache retrieval to Mr W as a bit of a scramble. TFTC. TNLN.
Did this in 2 parts while in Devonport for the Geosports Event with whitewebbs. Enjoyed the cooks tour of the area but geohubbies were elected to retrieve the final cache. All was good at GZ. Excellent views TFTC
Obtained the necessary info and and reading the logs about the not so happy land owner I made THE PLAN. Wait for a wet horrible day to finish this one as who in their right mind would be out on such a day? LOL. The right day arrived and armed with a raincoat, a new log book, ziplock and a container I headed to gz. Dippy had done a good job of covering the broken container and the log book was still dry. Where was the writing gear? I forgot to bring a pencil. I am male and cannot think of everything. A stick dipped in red mud did the trick. Everything was safely packed and I was out of there before THE PLAN failed. LOL Took old container and bag, left new bag and container but it needs a pencil. Thanks
I really think the final hide is now in a questionable placement as detailed in the logs. Cache also needs maintenance as container is holey and logbook is not in a waterproof bag. Sorry, I just walked to it carrying GPS and pen, so had nothing with me to carry out maintenance myself. Sorry.
I was so pleased to be able to log this one after spending a few hours on three separate trips collecting up the info from all the waypoints. I was nervous approaching the final cache hide, given the log mentioning the unhappy landowner. The last 4 or 500 metres required me to ignore the private property sign that says not to enter (in bold red letters) but after all that leg work I really wanted that sense of completion (and the smiley!). Since I was last here a bit over a year ago (for Welcome (back) to Paradise), the fencing is all changed, the stiles are no longer there, and that big sign all seem to indicate that we are not wanted up there on "the high road".
I was a bit dismayed also, to find a neat cache hide, but no cache. Did a circumnavigation of that feature, without spotting anything, but then when I looked further around, I noticed some "rubbish" scattered about down the hill. Sure enough, I found a yellow-lidded honey bucket, rather squashed and broken, the logbook just lying on the ground (ironic given the references to the Just Lying Around cache in earlier logs), an eaten ziploc bag and anohter bit of a plastic bag. Amazingly the logbook wasn't really wet, so I signed it and put it all back together and replaced it well hidden (although it won't be waterproof) in what I assume was the original hidey spot.
In retrospect I probably should have brought it back out. But didn't really feel it was my position to do that. Anyway, I was pleased to claim this find. Thanks thatguy.

Well what a cache!!!! It was a great cache, with lots of great views. Enjoyed this one.
We didn't come across the owner thankfully.

this one certainly lives up to its name. had great time finding waypoints and enjoying scenery on the way but geo teen had to take over to do final grab. no sign of any trackables though. tftc
Perhaps the land has changed hands, but the current land owner is not at all happy about people using the track over his land and along the fenceline to access the final waypoint. His comments: "didn't you see the sign: private property - no entry?" I must admit, it is a little hard to miss...
Over a couple of months we eventually worked our way around this multi, and visited the final waypoint today. Although we made it to the final GZ, we did encounter other people heading back along the track (not cachers, but walking right past GZ) who all told us that the landowner was out today and was very unhappy about people trespassing on his land. They all very strongly recommended that we not proceed in the direction that we were going. If the cache owner has the ability to contact the land owner then it might be a good idea, as the cache is allegedly on private property and it would be rather disappointing to be unable to find the cache after completing this epic multi.
After 6 monbths I finally got this cache out of the way, what an epic journey TFTC
5th find of the day at 16:27.
I could so kick myself!!! I had done Welcome (back) and then went off to do another cache or two and then back to this one.
Duh! TNLN. Thanks for the cache!

Found by Roma and Max..
We must admit we had some local assistance resolving this one and with dusk approaching and having just made another find close to where our vehicle was parked we decided to attempt it now rather than wait for morning.
Our numbers proved to be correct and we made another easy find.
We left our mark in the log and made no exchange.
Thank you thatguy007 for this challenge.

Almost 2 years in completing this one as I never did seem to have enough time to put the finishing touches on this one. A great final location and a great tour. A novelty doing multis in this part of the world.
Thanks thatguy007.

So what's the story here? A bunch of DNFs, its 58 feet from another traditional cache that gets logged by mistake.
Is it there or is it not?
If the owner is still interested, put a note on the cache stating your intentions within the next week or it'll be archived.

And here I was thinking it was OK due to that log, I guess I'll have to find my way back to the "scene" or whatever and go check it. Cheers, ThatGuy007
Went again today, no luck. Also another cacher who had previously found it had a good look and it wasn't there.
Cache placer is no longer on the scene.
The previous log is erronous - he logged "Just Lying Around" GCPEZA

Quite easy to find. Used this one to show the mrs how to geocache (her first). Took nothing. Was a bit dampish inside the container. Logbook could do with a new ziplock bag - sorry I had run out or I would have changed it!
Enjoyed getting to this one but just couldnt find the cache.
I note that its a while since its been visited so maybe too overgrown.
Ah well - a nice Sunday morning walk to it anyway!

Finally got to log cache.Ended in great spot...terrific views.Had walked past this one on way to Paradise Cove previously..good excuse to admire the views again.Spread multi out over a few days.A bit intrigued as to why logbook was not in a ziploc...no faith in them??..considering previous water damage..had slightly tattered ziploc with me to place logbook in..new one would be handy.TNLNSL TFTC Thatguy Cheers
Our last day in Tassie and a wait for the ferry home, so what better way to pass the time than do a multi? I had thought we'd be parking somewhere and going for a long walk but it soon became quite clear we were in for a long drive. Progress was great and the view from the top was spectacular, we can only imagine how lovely at night, but on we went. Everything was going wonderfully until WP8. At this stage we had taken about 70min. I thought I had the answer, did the maths and discovered that GZ was some 30+ kms away. Didn't even check what direction as we had a ferry to catch so sadly we had to leave. Even my husband who is not keen on geocaching was really enjoying this one, but that last waypoint finished him. It was most enjoyable and hopefully one day I will return to Tassie to complete the puzzle. Thanks
Sap, Schmap, that's special water-proofing resin
Don't listen to him folks, he's obviously dehydrated from the long walk to Paradise beach

[Stopped by to see how the cache was faring on our way back from "Welcome (back) to Paradise!". Cache had a few signs of previous water damage as noted by TG007, but nothing huuge.] It was kinda funny to note that it was covered in sap though!
Stopped in for a maintenance check up on my way back from the new Paradise cove cache.
Cache was dry, but yes the signs of water damage are there, but thankfully not too bad.

Finally made it to GZ, which is a place that the Geo kids and I have been past before without knowing that there was a cache nearby. Great cache and a great multi to go with it. We enjoyed the wp’s and the locations that it took us. Found the log a bit damp from recent rains.
finaly made it on weekly walk with mama tack, had all the other points gathered up in august but couldn't find time for final assent.had a little trouble at forth water hole but rest were ok t car l wild thing thanks that guy
Well, it's taken a while, but we made it to this one finally. We'd originally got the first couple of WPTs a while back, but I lost them! I'd been (re)collecting the waypoints during the week, ready to finish it off today. Nice to see the weather was going to let me do just that!
So. After a few hours work we ended up at the final waypoint, which had recently been found by muggles (older ones, judging by the handwriting), who'd signed the log. Doing this multi makes me feel much better about my own Port Frederick cache (Tassies only TerraCache) potentially costing people a lot of time and petrol. This one certainly requires a lot of driving! But on a nice spring day like today when the hills are lush and green, that aint so bad.
Our favourite waypoints are number 3 and number 8, and we definitely concur with ThatGuy when he says that the view from WPT3 is great at night.
Thanks ThatGuy007.
Took - Rollerstamper.
Left - Top and Truck.
Will attach some pics from WPT3 later.

Hi prunes and fellow cachers,
I'm afraid that the cache you found is one of robtas's, "Just lying around", see link.
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ad0fd765-58d5-44c7-88d3-7618e8c1ba5d
You should log your find there.
Future cachers, please don't mistake the cache near the start of "R we there yet?" as being part of this multi-cache, you need to extract the info from the "Monolith" to proceed.
Cheers,
ThatGuy

This turned into a massive epic for Team Hingrock. Raced around all the first waypoints over a couple of days and then had to wait for 3 months prior to reaching the final point.
How hard is it to keep travelling past and not able to get to it because of work, weather and daylight.
But finally we were able to venture to it on a beautiful sunny day to find the goodies at the end. So after a nice short walk the final resting place became apparent.
Took something and left something but my mind is failing and I always seem to forget what I swap.
Thanks TG007, this was excellent fun and the final point was spectacular.

Heading home to Hobart today. Had to finish this cache first. Glorious spring day, much better weather for steep hiking required. Cleverly hidden cache, thanks for the journey. Took TB, thought he had been guarding this cache long enough. Left a dog toy to fill the gap. Cheers Quilter
Phew, 5 hours on the hunt, most of it us learning to drive software and maps and the like. Got to waypoint 7, but failing light and treacherous mud sent us home to come back tomorrow. This is not a beginners multicache! Cheers Quilter
This is a long cache and I am glad to arrive at the destination finally.
Personnaly I would have made two caches out of this one.
It was good to go back up that hill as the view is really great.
An easy find when you know where it is.
Said hello to my old mate "the minder" who is surprised he has stayed here for so long.
Took phone cord left whistle.
Thanks for a good cache.

Geez this is a bloody long cache been working on it for several weeks on and off. Got stuck on the last co-ords, either that or I need a submarine. I failed algebra at school.

Great drive around the area! Few wrong turns here and there, but at a casual pace took 2hr10mins. to complete the hunt!

FTF at last. After yesterdays lunchtime effort, read the last sign properly this time! Windy as always but a great view nonetheless. Geez 2 FTF's in one lunch hour! - soon I won't have to leave home/work to rack up cache finds
This one makes my 50th - thanks tg007 for the challenge . .

Mmmmmm tried this one as a 'lunchtime' cache. 1hr might be pushing it - even with the geofourby set to warp speed! Must have mucked up the last coord - wasn't anywhere sensible - will have another go at that bit soon. Nice drive though
thanks
thanks
Co-ordinate calculation has been fixed in The Phantom Lawn for WP3.
Also fixed calc for end co-ords, i'm glad no one followed them, it was WAY off
Thanks go to rippunzel and energizer who spotted these errors.
Cheers guys,
ThatGuy

well, what can I say, we tried to make this our 200th, but it wasn't to be.. beta testing multi's doesn't seem to be our thing, we never have much luck.
I'll admit to guessing all the waypoints & thinking at home before we left, ok I must of stuffed up cause the final cache ends up miles away, so we went for a drive around all the waypoints to verify my guesses were correct, they were .
We still had the uncorrected maths for wp3 too, but guessed that must of been a + not a * ...
I'm super glad we did take the drive around them all though, we'd been to most of the waypoints before, but one in particular was a new sight well worth the visit.
Thanks heaps for the enjoyable drive thatguy007. can you double check the maths for the final cache though please. We had a guess at what it might be but that was way out too ...

The Minder Travel Bug is guarding this cache. He is willing to travel to other caches to do his duty for anyone else. So avail yourself of his services. He hates muggles so watch out.He is also publicity hungry and would like photos of himself in or at the caches he guards.
