Nothing beats a sunset up here with a cold beer in hand whilst sitting around the fire. As previous finder have mentioned the cache has seen better days but the log book is still signable so we happily added our names to the list. TFTC Team OrrClan
TFTCThis is the worst cache we have ever found. We were not prepared to take our Jimny up the hill, so we walked and walked and walked to the top and beyound to the hide. Once there, we found the cache broken and unable to be sealed. We normally carry a number of containers in our car so we can swap out these old ones with a new one....not this time sorry...not walking all the way back up.
Found with e.gregory1 as we made our way along the Great Northern Highway on a trip from Adelaide to north-western WA. Took the road to the top to enjoy the spectacular views, then a short walk to locate the cache. Thanks for the cache Team Orrclan!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Today we continued to make our way north finding caches of interest, including this one, along the way.We drove to the top of the hill and then wandered over to the cache. Great view. We ended up camping near here. Thanks Team OrrClan for the cache.
After having a meal at roadhouse, we decided to come up here for the geocache and sunset. A rocky bumpy road for sure and soon found the cache. Thanks for bringing me up here for the good views!
Found with kiwinic on our annual northern holiday. We found this one a few days back but must have not logged it, I’m not bad at forgetting. Drove the cruiser up the track and had it sorted in no time. TFTC
Tricky well covered from the elements.
Container will need to
Be replaced next visit as it is becoming brittle

Couldn’t find a place to leave the boat so we towed it up and around abit hairy and a lot of fun TFTC
We drove in the hard route and out on the easy route. Thanks for the challenge Team orr clan though I must say, the car that had gone over the edge and was hanging in a tree was a bit unnerving.
Great find (again) fun to bring my visiting parents from uk! Amazing views as always - a favourite find and a great drive!
pug002 found it 8/8/2018 on our trip north geocaching, well we aren't mountain goats, got to the top and then it was geo hubby's job to go right over. We replaced the container, although he said it could have done with a slightly larger, but too far to go back. This will suffice for a while anyway. TFTC OrrClan Staying at Oasis and staff are so nice decided to take it easier and stay 5 nights.
Great drive up by boyfromthebush to find the cache on a very cold and windy day! The views my lord are magnificent! Short drive from the AIRPORT to find the tracks in! Thanks for bringing us here! SL TFTH
First T5 for me . Container at its life’s end. Be good if someone looking at doing this one can bring up a new medium container and replace. Replaced all the small rocks covering it with a large flat one to hopefully keep the rain out. TFTH SL cheers
Drove part of the way up then walked, very windy at the top today! Followed the directions exactly and hey a cache soon in hand! Great place for a cache and brilliant views!! Our first terrain 5 for a while TFTC
I have camped here for a couple of days at the base of the hill and strolled (!) up the hill to find the cache at 09:30 this morning. Wow! what a view. It was a bit of a scramble getting up, but there is an old track which leads almost to the cache, (not suitable for vehicles). Like everything around here, there are a lot of rocks and a lot of spinifex, but trust your GPSr, get to the coordinates and do a 360 and you should soon see it. I have been to and through Newman a dozen times and never even knew this spot was here. TNLNSL, Thanks for bringing me here OrrClan.
Up in newman, to visit my Sister. Tried to get this cache last time. But didn't make it to the top. But this time I did. Love the view. Tftc.
A quick find after driving out from Newman this afternoon. This cache has been on my ToDo list for several years - finally we have stopped in town for a few days with some caching. We had enjoyed a Mine Tour this morning then lunch in the caravan and now it's playtime. SL. Thanks to Team OrrClan for the cache.
did a run out to round hill on the 31/7/16 and enjoyed the drive to the top .
don`t know what happened but the gps was going haywire and I couldn`t get a true fix.
The views were great and photos are good .
Thanks team OrrClan.

Tftc what a trek I'm wrecked watched a few flights come in to now for dinner to capi
The wet weather of the last week or two in these areas have been making some of the tracks rather muddy and boggy [:o]
The geomobile has a thick coating of the stuff
So I have been ignoring this, and a few other off road caches
I was supposed to be leaving Newman yesterday,
but at camp, a scant 8 kms south of Capricorn last night,
some online research convinced me that I had to go back to 'mop up' some unfound caches
A 'short cut' was showing up on Googly Maps that ran from the roadhouse.
So I turned off the highway and headed toward the hill.
I got 'bout 300 metres before the track turned into one long muddy waterhole through the trees [:o]
I wasn't even going to bother walking to the top from this direction.
So I followed the instructions
And 2.15 kms north of the roadhouse's northern entrance,
headed along the nice and unboggy, wide, smooth graded road
I kept going straight on at the bend and the nice and unboggy, rocky track took me and the geomobile to the summit of the hill
Well that was easy [^]
A short stroll through the spinifex and over the rocks brought me to GZ,
where a cache was spied in under a minute
That left plenty of time to take in the views for a while
And it turns out that this is a pretty good spot to watch the planes at around 9:15 am.
A QANTAS B737 buzzed low overhead as it climbed out of the airport
TFTC and entertainment.
Fave dance time [^]

Our first find for Newman , unfortunately with last weeks rain, the contents have been wet, great find thanks .
Took the steeper 4x4 climb and was rewarded with fantastic views. The tree image certainly helped lead to a quick find! Took the mini pipe and left a new key ring. Cache is in good condition. tftc
GEO CACHE: NIC&KAYLA'S ADVENTURES
Our first Geo Cache and happy to say we are now addicted! We will definitely be wearing proper shoes on our next adventure as we learnt our lesson hahaha!
We took the parrot magnet who EGG&LETTUCE left, and replaced it with a survival wire branch cutter!
To whoever goes looking for it next good luck!
Best wishes,
Nic & Kayla

I ride a mountain bike from Newman to this cache. I had to walk the track to the summit. The cache was easy to find. Teren clasification is to high in comparation to clasification in Europe where it will be max. 3,5 stars. Thank for the cache.
Great day out for 11 kids, 7 adults and 1 dog!! Nice spot for a picnic lunch
Awesome find and view took 11 kids and 7 adults and a dog all geocachers and we had a big picnic at the top
After knocking off work a bit early I made the drive out to find this cache.
The hire car made it up with ease and I then had some fun in a few mud puddles that were around on the track back out to the highway.
Nice view and a favourite point from me.

On a three week road trip north, through the Pilbra, Karijini then over to Exmouth. Caching along the way to help see some sights and have some breaks. Had great weather all trip apart from the last week once we hit the coast. Never the less, had a great trip.
Nice views. TFTC

Left the caravan at Capricorn roadhouse and took the scratchy bushy track in (as usual!!). A nice steady drive to the top after which we found the cache easily. Lots of beautiful rocks around but very few magnetic ones. We could see a nice clear road out and followed this to the highway then turned right on the highway back to Capricorn. If you want an easier leadup drive to the base of the hill take the road left about 2km north of the roadhouse. We got S23 26.049 E119 47.484. TFTC
Mountain bike ride out from Newman for this one had to walk the last bit of track to the top great views cheers for the cache
mr. drummers had the fabulous idea to get our first T5 cache in australia. as we have a 4wd camper van we startet accending up the hill. we are both swiss and used to ways like this in the mountains, buuuut we didn't expect that there is such a steep street in that condition. we got up to the top without a break down, but is was hard work! we nevertheless enjoyed the wonderful view over the lovely landscape and also took some good pictures. at the end we arrived savely back to the highway and continued our trip through australia. thanks and greetings from switzerland. drummers2105
Finally made the trek up to this one.
Hire 4wd and muggle in tow.
A very bumpy drive to the top but we got here. Great view of the landscape. Would be a ripper at sunrise. Co ords were spot j so after a quick stroll to GZ I had the cache in hand. Always good to read a log book with some stories in it
Thanks for bringing me here and my first terrain 5 cache.
A fav point from me.

Found the cache on the way to Newman Airport, as I had few spare hours before the flight back home.
Nice hill and easy find. 4WD is a must, or, if you favour, rockclimbing to the summit.
Retrieved two TB's to get them to make extra thousand km of travel.

On holidays with my family here... Mum found this one! TFTC Team OrrClan, I had heaps of fun here
We really enjoyed this little 4wd adventure to the top of this random hill . Dangermouse09 spotted the 2 cars that had been launched over the edge at some stage, and was more concerned that i took some photos of them, rather than chasing after the treasure itself
A bit of spinifex hopscotch was involved in reaching GZ, but we made it without too many problems . A great view of the surounding area, and the roadhouse [^]. The container is in good conditiion, and dry .... TFTC Team OrrClan

Loved the drive up the hill great view of the Cappy and surrounding plains. The container must not be waterproof, because the log was quite damp.
Left a dog, took Einstein, signed log.
Thanks!

Lovely spot..
moderate 4x4 conditions. Still in good condition. This was my second cache. Was a lovely cool, clear winters' day, slight breeze and the warmth of the sun on our back.

Arrived at dusk to a rising full moon, and both qantas and virgin planes landing. Wonderful spot.
I recommend climbing the hill from the rear track, but only with a capable 4x4 vehicle.

Not sure I like walking around the long grass, visions of short fat snakes with skinny tails. Easy track to the top when I found the right one. T4TH. TNLN
Tested out the ole work ute getting up to this one. Great views on a resonably mild day enjoying the breese while signing the log. Watched a Virgin Blue jet land while at GZ. Left and took nothing then went down for a meal and blew the froth off a coupla coldies at the Capri Roadhouse. God bless RDO's!!
The Toyota did the hard work for us on this one. Breezy today. A good lookout. Took GC. Thanks Team OrrClan
Did this one with a whole crew in tow, think I have the date wrong and also may have dropped TB. If anyones picked one up around this date, Please let me know so I can update. So sorry TFTC

Found this cache at 10:30am. Staying in Newman for a couple of days, so we can do some caching and catch some of the beautiful scenery. After creeping our way to the top (This time without campertrailler made things a bit easier)Clammering over more rocks. The colours of the rocks are sure spectacular. As for the spinifex, well not to sure. Evan found a pair of ladies reading glasses near the cache. (had to be a fellow cachers).

The trip from Perth to Port Hedland is long and boring one, so to stop off at a cache along the way makes a pain a bit easier, especially when it is a typical Pilbara landscape. Arrived ground zero at 1340.

Wow only the third group to visit this one. The drive up looks Steap but wasnt as bad as we expected. We had a few wrong turns on old tracks but we knew we had the right one evetualy as it went "round the hill" from the front. 3 years og today we were driving past so it was nice to see it in an historical way. Took Ball, left Scissors and replaced the outside bag. Someone has camped up here but to us it seemed a bit windy. While here we stumble onto an easy out stud remover. We are sure it must have a story behind it as it was a long way off the track.
Lovely walk this morning. It was a bit overcast and was lovely and cool. Birds chirping away made it a very pleasant experience.
