I am putting this cache forward as needing to be archived after having visited this area many times over several months. Indeed walking around the entire park but finding no cache. I have also looked at the Cache owner's profile and noticed they haven't logged onto the website since 2009.
If there is anyone around who knows where the cache is, and can check on it that would be grand!

I have been out a few times now, as have a few caching friends of mine. No sign of the cache. Could we request a check on the cache to make sure it is still in position? I have a suspicion this one has been muggled, possibly by some of the nearby school kids. Thanks!
I took a look around but alas didn't find today. My gps was jumping around like mad. Unless it is extremely well cammoed I don't think it was sitting in the middle of an open grass area! =p will bring reinforcements along another day
Took us a little while but eventually we came up with cache in hand. Lovely parks in this area. Thanks for organising the cache.
Out and about In Tassie for a few weeks on holidays collecting caches. GPSr had bouncing around everywhere in this great area, thanks for bringing us here.

Picked my way carefully along the muddy track in my business attire. Fortunately it was an easy find. TNLN. Thanks.
Found at 1pm. Nice easy find while wasting time to catch the Spirit of Tasmania.
Thanks for the cache. Took nothing and left nothing.

Took youngest in for the walk and after a little scraching around we found this one, he wanted to walk over under the trees to hide from anyone watching and to shelter from the wind. I soon sent him on the way back to the car as one could see the coming rain. we both make tit back before the next shower started.

This is our third visit to this cache and thanks to the council doing a bit of blackberry clearing (thank you) Jnr ClanMember found it straight away. Only one softie left, so we TN. Will return before we leave the area to replenish so our little friend doesn't get lonely. TFTC.
Nice spot for a picnic which we will do in the near future. should have bought one down. located box but did not do swaps. only 1 plushie toy in there.
We returned to this one after getting a hint. Success on our second visit. Thanks thatguy007
Took a bit of searching, but ended up finding it , no sign of Tb. TFTC

You would think we'd have learnt our lesson in Tasmania by now. Let the GPS settle, use patience and wait. Took us two attempts to finally get this one.

Found with MtnLioness on our week-long sightseeing, touring and caching tour of Tasmania.
Found easily enough, then had a feast off the nearby Blackberry bushes. Caching & blackberries, best of both worlds, Thanks.

Found in the company of MtbikerOz (Dad) on our week of Touring and caching around Tazzie.
Have only been able to log these once we got back to Melbourne.
Ahhh, find a Blackberry bush and surely there'll be a cache nearby!!
What a wonderful feast!!

Had to hunt around for this one. Took Big Chic TB thought he needed a change of scenery TFTC
Returned without a GPS and by torchlight to drop off The Big Chick TB (he's a Plushie so I figured it was appropriate). Took a little while to jog my memory (it looks different when it's dark) but managed it in the end. Nice nighttime walk.

Looked for ages and widened the search area but GPS kept returning to an improbable area where it wasn't. Usually find these easily.
Found and logged at 14:45, On a cold and wet afternoon while waiting to board the the Spirit of Tasmania

Raining today so had to run in quite quickly to get this one. Nice area. TFTC TNLN
I regaled my Geoniece with how wonderful this park used to be when it first opened when I was a child (luckily she's young enough to be still interested in listening). We would often ride our bikes down to the "Lions Project" and adventure around in this one and the one over the road. It didn't have the large landing strip of grass going straight through it, it had wonderful, winding paths weaving through the bush which all led to the centre where there was a great BBQ/ picnic area, and I think, I could be wrong here, a gazebo type structure. I remember the official opening day of the project, and they were giving away those small cans of coke - as kids we were thrilled!
Anyway, Geoniece and I found the cache, but like others, no plushie to swap, so just signed log. TFTC, especially here. Seems that most of Devonport caches are on the outskirts of the city.

Great cache to finish off our day of caching marathon. Didnt have any plushies, so no swaps - just signed and on our way! Dinner time!
Nice easy detour after work to find this one. Didn't have a plushie, so didn't leave anything. TFTC!
This could be a great park in the middle of town but it seems to be let go a bit. Still in all a great location for the cache. We placed a Tb in the cache so as it can continue on its parth to somewhere. TFTC
Part of our caching holiday in Northern Tasmania
Coords seemed to be out by about 10 metres from my reckoning, but within the accurancy margin.
Took Army man and left Sylester

Really enjoyed the surprise. Yum!!!! Left a pathtag and took a fish puzzle piece. Nice way to spend a long weekend in Tassie.
After putting the big cousin on the bus home, we decided to test out the iPhone app a bit more and started heading home. The boys were in the mood for a good search and after much poking around and looks of where is it dad, we stumbled across it, sneaky spot!! Well done with this cache. Thanks
enjoyed the walk in from the recommended parking spot... plenty of sport going on nearby but the park was free of people which made for a quick find and sign....
cheers 4 da cache thatguy007!

MMMM? GPSr had me in the middle of open space. I just had to look in the possible places around the spot and bingo! TNLN. TFTC
Nice to see a bushland reserve within the confines of a city although small.
I took a walk around while I was there.
Special thanks to Sol de lune for fixing this up.

Not a swap in sight or a writing implement for that matter, but thanks for the cache.
Easy grab for this one. There was no pencil ( we are in the habit of taking our own now) and not a swap to be seen but very quiet spot indeed
We have often walked past this area but rarely through because of the dubious caharacters and the amount of rubbish which was once there. The Devonport City Council has made a determined effort to clean up the area and open it a little without destroying the reserve. It is now a pleasant area to visit and a good site for a cache. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC thatguy007.

Another one that hasn't been found since July, however unlike the last one, I managed to find this one. BUT, the cache contents were just a soggy mess. Couldn't write in either of the log books and everything else was putrid. Only solution, I threw it all out.........and left a new log book.....doubled bag inside the container, so hopefully the water wont get in again. To help avoid that, I also moved the location a few metres, and out of what looks like a big hole that will fill with water.
To help the owner....and future finders, the GZ is now at S 41 11.148 and E 146 20.175......and under a concrete slab of sorts. Dont worry, it's not hard to find.

Found this one very easily and without the help of the GPS. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
GPS batteries died as we approached GZ, but the location was reasonably obvious and cache was found easily. TNLN.
Our last find for the day, but closest to home. Should have walked there but didn't. Easy find. Thanks thatguy007.
This was my first cache find.Found this one rather easily but still quite fun. Cant wait to try find some more.
I didn't have any plushies to swap, but thanks for the cache anyway. It was an easy find once some local girls nicked off.

A great bit of parkland for a stroll this morning
But watch out for those muggles when retrieving or hiding, they can appear from every point of the compass [:o]
A couple did just that as I grabbed the cache, but I quickly stuffed it up the back of my shirt and nonchelantly strolled off past them and said G'day
I was a bit more careful rehiding the box

[Like Neribil, my GPSr does not like the trees, but after a bit of headscratching finally found it. According to my GPSr GZ was both on top of the cache and 20 metres away!] I should have looked at the gallery. [I throughly enjoyed the stroll. TNLNSL TFTC]
A nice spot out of the wind but my old GPS dosent like the trees in the area. Lucky it was not a hard find TNLN Thanks
First find during a day of caching, but I just figured out I wrote the 29th in all the logs I got today.... DOH

Found by Roma and Max
Our second day on the island and our first cache today. It was interesting to note that the last entry in the log was by geo friends of ours also from the mainland!
We left our mark in the log and made no exchange.
Thanks again thatguy007, for placing this cache.

We pulled up near a likely entry point and followed the GPSr to GZ. We had to wait for two dog walking muggles to pass by on the opposite side to us. Once they had gone we soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. As we were heading back to the car we passed another couple of dog walkers, even on a cool day this looks like a popular area.

Found after a fun evening at TAFE teaching the joys of co-ordinates!! Therefore appropriately practised the skill on a very muggle free evening with some apparent success though I did feel a little disenchanted as I surveyed the GZ to see no hidey holes before realising that it could be underneath...
Lots of fun, thatguy007, in a park that I have never wandered through before and certainly at night.

Yet again I managed to make this MUCH harder than it needed to be! In the end it was a simple enough find. I think I was expecting a slightly bigger container - this one is pretty crowded with just one plushie inside. A tip for future finders - avoid the shrubbery!

Found by Mary & David at 1645. A final quick find and a nice short walk too. Nearly time to get on the Spirit. Our thanks yet again to thatguy007.
We quickly located the cache location but had to wait for the muggles to disappear before quickly retrieving the cache. TNLN Thanks.
Found at 3.15pm GAFF1. Between showers we got out of the 4wd and found the cache in quite surroundings. The nearby oval was so green that it looked like it had artificial turf! Haven't seen an oval that green in Melbourne for years. Thanks thatguy007.
The seed for this "FEB 08 NUMBERS RUN" germinated during our South Coast Chaos walk and now we have done it.
Finished work as early as possible, not early enough, on Friday and set of for Somerset. Managed about two hours sleep/rest and started 00:00 and finished at 23:54 today.
We had relaxed breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and achieved our goal with only nine DNFs, no injuries and were still smiling at the end.
Thankyou for this cache thatguy007

Stopped by this one today, I see what people are saying about the old hide being gone, the new hide is fine though.
Found cache at GZ in a plastic bag out in the open. Container had been crushed but contents and log was intact.
New container provided and cache re-hidden (within 1.5m of original position according to a cacher who had previously found it, as conditions at GZ have changed and original hiding place was no longer an option).
Can't guarantee this cache won't be muggled in future as looks like there will be some counsil work happening soon.

The GPS kept telling us it was in the middle of the area under a skinny tree.. we figured the gps was having a 'moment' and hunted around but came up empty handed. Will try again another day.
Took a while, searching in wrong areas and passing spot on many occasions. Didn't swap as plushy toy was a little big for cache!
Nice to have some 'natural' areas around town. Could do with a bit of a clean up. Took/left nothing.
The GPS had a few problems here, sending me all over the place. Once found, I discovered that there was a fair amount of water in the cache and the yellow teddy was soaked(broken seal on bag). I have taken him home to dry off and I will return him tomorrow. I suspect that stashing the cache with the lid to the floor may solve the water problem. Thanks for the cache.
Boy, did I have some fun with this one Buoyed by Edmils recent find I returned to GZ, looked around for 30 mins and didnt find it. I returned home very dejected but opened up Google Earth, went back to find the plushies and paced the distances out.
Success is sweet!

Found by edmil & maddie. Got this one in before the area was inundated with muggles. The GPs took a while to settle but when it did it put me right to the cache. When the cache was retrieved it had a considerable amount of water in side. I dried as best could but it was still wet inside. Signed log and replaced cache, no swaps were made. TFTC.
Couldnt find this one.
Looks like there's been some work done in the area over the past few months - ? removed.
