Found the soaked container. Not sure whether i could count it as a find. Needs replacing. It was full of cracks.
It's late at night and seems like we need to trek through bushes.

Found the remnants of this cache late this arvo, nothing left of it apart from bottom part of container and gold chrstmas tree deco.. .
We put the remains back roughly where we thought they had originally been hidden,

Reperio at 1210. Having completed Fathers Day I thought it only fair to do this one as well. Enjoyed the walk down to GZ, and ended up using the pole nearby to get down to what I thought was the right level. Hunted around high and low without success until turning my attention to the spoiler pics. Identified the right crevice and once I climbed up to it, soon spotted the cache and realised how much easier it should have been. Oh well it was a good adventure.
Gratias.

On a bright winter afternoon geokids took mum along after coffee nearby. Followed the windy path to the bottom which proved a mistake when the gps showed the target was 7 metres away at the top of the rock cliff. Geokids weren't happy climbing the wood ladder so backtracked up the path and bushbashed to the edge to find the box at the top of the crevice. Watch for cycling muggles using the path!

Picked on a morning trail run, great area, GPSr had me in the wrong spot a first climbed up the 'stairs of death' (but was too chicken to climb back down them again!), found it from the top in the end. Left the Klompen trackable (hadn't seen one of these before, they are detailed at: www.geokrety.org/ but they don't link in to Geocaching.com inventory). TNLNSL TFTC!
After crossing the oval, and making my way down to below GZ, I realised that a top approach would be better. So I made my way up the ladders of death to bag this one.
After doing the cache duties, I decided that my life would be safer if I went back down to my backpack via the firetrail, from there I was going to cross the creek over to Fathers Day.
That was until I saw how steep and long the bush bash would be! So only Mother today...thanks for the walk into here.

Found it with the mrs. Was good fun minus the million leechs. Took "the good badge" left rubber bouncer.
A lovely walk, although not so sure why we appear to be the only ones arriving from the top? And how does anyone ever manage to squeeze through that crevice? Methinks I am going to have to employ some help in getting Argeisia to the edge more often so she can grab some of these!!!
Why do we always pick the uphill/downhill caches to do on the hottest of days!! We approached this from above with the gps bouncing off everything and cliffs not being my forte. Littlebub came up with the goods, well, she had the gps!. TFTC TNLN.
It was a good thing somebody put a ladder in a most convenient spot for me to find the cache. Today was a scorcher for caching in the bush. Anyway, back to the chilly air-con in the car and a cold beer when I get home. TNLNSL&TFTC. [:o)]
FOUND BY NANNY and BO on a very windy Sunday.
Followed the fire trail down to the lower level, with no luck. It seemed to be pointing to the ridge above (ti the East).
So we went back up the track the the three way junction as bush bashed to the ledge.
The GPS was not the best, but by taking an average of the co-ords, we found it under the ledge.
The cliff is a bit dangerous and I would not recommend for children.
Took a little man and left a "good" badge.
A good and challenging Cache!

With dicky v and 23 kids. After looking all around the base, we watched from the bottom while Rock and Baloo retreived it from the crevice. Watched Dicky squeeze himself out! Cold and windy Sunday as well!
Found with great difficulty by brookvale curl curl cubs & scouts. Liked the "not shore" - doesn't look like it's been ridden in ages & 8 mb ram chip. Cache dangerously close to edge of cliff so not suitable for kids. Good descent.
No luck today!!
It was our third cache of the day!!
No sign of Mother's Day!!
But we did get leeches on our feet and ticks too!!
So watch out for the animals of the jungle!!

Found the path behind the field and it was a pleasant walk down to GZ. Found my elevator friend that took me to greater heights and the cache was in had within seconds.

Easier than expected! Agree with previous log, close to cliff edge so be careful, but cool rock formations! TFTC TNLN
Well this was our trickiest find of the day as the rain started to come down. Disgusting amount of rubbish below the cliff behind the oval but after that it was very bushy. Found our way to the top of the cliff but decided it must be at the bottom so followed fire trail down there. Plenty of likely spots but no dice. Went back up top without using the dodgy ladder and eventually found it in a place which is not like the photos or description. A bit dangerous actually so close to the edge. Watch out kiddies. What's with the see-saw?
Took 0, left 0. Thanks!

After a short walk I made my way bush bashing and came to GZ.I checked a few spots and then moved to another likely spot and looked even further. Hmmmm Back to my first spot. Bingo there it was. I just didn't look at the right angle to see it. By the way the wooden ladder still works. I used it!!! TFTC
this took a while, my gps reception wasnt great so i kept going in circles. got it after about an hour of looking
i left a big bouncy ball, took a hacky sack.

Found cache on 2nd attempt, this time I had a gps. Last time I was looking totally in the wrong area. The ladder was very useful. Once up the top found it easily.
Picked up geocoin, will move on in a few days.

Enjoyed the playing leeches and ladders. I climbed the ladder and Josh cried leech. I slid down the ladder removed the leech and the back up. Found the cache and back down the ladder with the cache. Made our sawps and left a Canadian geocoin then back up the ladder to replace the cache, back down to find the leech still chasing Josh, they are fast for such small things. Then back to the car and there was the leech again, this time on my leg!
[Lots of fun! Got two leeches not FUN!] Ladder really helped with the find.

A nice find (used the ladder to get up instead of the crevice) Dropped of a golf ball found on the way in. A nice way to celebrate the beginning of the 2008 Olympics.
A short wander across the park and down the track and we were soon doing some cache business midst this nice bushy enclave. Went up and down the ladder just for the heck of it – wonder what it’s story is? The cache rites were conducted to the soundtrack of a late afternoon bird chorus. Quite pleasant. Made no swaps here.
PS: On re-reading the notes and looking at the clue pictures this cache has most certainly been moved - not too far, but moved nevertheless - from it's original hide.

Another local find!!
Had fun climbing the ladder, but we can't work out who put it there, or why.
We both got leeches, but nothing a little salt didn't fix!!

I think you should rename this cache "Place of the Giant Leeches". They are huge and hungry - I came out with 2 attached to my back.
Sent husband up the ladder whilst we searched from below -
he found it easily. Took kid's teeth and recorder - left badge and novelty pencil. Thanks.

Last cache for today. Easy to find and easy to retrieve. I'm not 100% sure it's located exactly where it should, but the coordinates are OK. Put it back where it was when we took it. Took a blue plastic fish and left an alarm clock.

I thought this would be a walk in the park, until I reached the edge of it with a distance to go. The more interesting section was hidden from view. A bit of slipping and sliding and I was there.
Nice hide.

An easy walk in, but the final five metres needed a bit of work. I volunteered to do this last bit, but decided not to backtrack. A cleverly deceiving easy cache - does that make sense?
A nice walk down and a slightly more difficult walk out again but not hard to find just left that up to my partner in crime Spindoc! I have dropped of the hibiscus coin but no swaps today. Thanks for bringing me here SL
Nice walk to the cache location. The GPS led me on a merry chase, and was pointing to some very bizzare places. Ignored it and soon found the right crevice and tree. Found the cache very easily. I suspect someone has moved it to make it more "reachable". A pity cause the original description gave it a sense of adventure. Cache owner may want to take a look and re -position.
No swaps but took the 4WD TB and left Rooty Hill Rhino TB.
Then it was off to do the walk from the Sphinx to Bobbin Head.

Spent an embarrassingly long time looking for this. Was mollified to read comments that others had found the coordinates off by up to 10m.
Took the coasters and left some note paper plus a White Jeep TB.

(Well, sorry about the VERY late entry - '12) Was comparing my caching adventures against Kane's and realised he had found this one a couple of months before me.
Had been down to visit with my sister, and wanted to see some of the bush I had walked through many years ago. Just using the Foretrex 101 it was an interesting exercise - wish I had the 60csx that I have now with its maps and higher accuracy. I had left my paper maps up in Taree, and it would have been a lot easier if I had those.
Found after a bit of up and down.
TFTC BroMic, and again, sorry about the LATE entry.

We actually found this much easier than we expected. I think perhaps someone has moved it to a closer location because it was definately visible from a spot you said it shouldn't be visible from in your hints. The cache spot was very nice.

Found this one with Geokid and his mate. It was his mate's first Cache so we let him locate it, and as usual its thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. Not sure if it’s in the correct spot at the moment. The Cache is safe from Muggles but a pretty easy find none the less.
I’ve never been down that trail before so I might have to explore it further one day. Thanks for taking us there.

I only read the CacheMate version of the description, never realising the photos would make life so much easier. No matter as I did find the cache. I would have kicked myself had I not found it. Took TB.
found at 16:15. very well hidden cache in the bush lands, Thanks for taking us there
Found the cache - no problem thanks for photos which it help us to found it. Lovely area - enjoyed walk along to the cache. No swap SL. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Found with Body Stepping Freak on a drizzley Sydney afternoon. An intersesting cache in that BSF dropped the lid of the container... NOT GOOD! A very long stick and some hairy climbing made things all good in the end though. Couldn't help but think this cache was unnecessarily hard and risks cachers being hurt when there are plenty of safer hiding spots nearby. (Maybe that's the risk management i do in my day to day work coming out there...). As usual though this cache left us with a story to tell and we had fun. Love a cache that lets you know where to access the cache from and the "king" hint combined with a steet directory certainly got us there nice and quickly. TNLNSL... But we did play the recorder for a while.
The good stuff: Useful size cache, pretty good booty inside (although didn't take any), good clue as there are so many hiding spots around. The bad stuff: This cache is in a dangerous position and really should be moved. I dropped the lid, and I'm certainly glad it wasn't me that fell that far. There's stacks of good hiding spots around. Not sure why we need one this close to the edge. The co-ords we had were a bit off the mark too, but it could have been the readings we were getting, it was a cloudy day.
Thanks for the hunt. No swaps today.

I was close! But getting dark. Interesting place! No dogs allowed at the moment; signs up: baiting for fox!
Nice spot. First cache I have seen with its own custom ladder!
Looks like the poppers may have self popped which must have been a surprise to any nearby wildlife.

Ok, I found it this time, although I would check on your cache, I put it back where I found it but I think someone before me may have not put it as deep in as it should be.
This was also an example of how not to do it, I was locating it from the top, I dropped the lid down the craves and had to climb down to get it and then back up, however was not equipped for the climb up so went the long way around. The moral of the story is don’t open caches close to the edge of a hole or ledge.
I can understand the off coordinates, it was a bit hard to get a lock on the location but averaging it out over 10 min I found it to be at S33 42.594
E151 08.715

I`ll say the coordinates where out, I was reported as three meters from it and standing in the middle of the fire trail, the other two caches I found this weekend where within one meter of the place my gps sent me to.
I saw the locations pictured, (only looked at the photos after the search) I ran out of time to search it that well, however next time I know exactly where to go, I`ll find it next weekend and post better coordinates.
For those who want a hint now go to the coordinates above and face the cliff so your line of sight is at right angles to the cliff and you are about looking at it. Its not far off the given, just enough to throw me through the loop.

Well, I finally found this one after trying the last time I was here about 13 months ago. Found with 4luckydogs. This is a great hide and I am certain I looked in the right place last time I was here, but obviously not. This is also an excellent walk in the bush. Thanks for the cache. TNLN

Attempted this last week, but had no torch for the dark.
Tried again today and was well equipped however we were hot on the tail of a shadowy figure which was either an anti-social geo cacher or a very lost muggle. We decided not to venture further. Will try again.

Had a bit of a look yesterday but was looking up the wrong crack and ran out of time. Came back this morning before work and did some climbing and some wondering around. The GPS accuracty said 40m so that was not much help. Nothing seemed to fit the photos, so i tried from the top and found it quite quickly.

Found it with Waitara Vennies at 8:30pm after a fair bit of stumbling around in the dark. We took the hard way in of course. But we had heaps of fun climbing down the "ladder". The vennies were all virgin cachers and really loved it.

Haven’t done one in a while
Driving home this was within a mile
Dragged the wife and kids through the scrub
Onto a track, which is easier, the wife did rub
Didn’t look at the pictures of the position
So had to rely on guess work and vision
The waypoint of the tree could be argued
A guess at another tree was pursued
Thankfully came up trumps
Not without a fair amount of bumps
Swapped a car for a car in the transition
We were happy to accomplish this mission
2nd time lucky and we found it. My two boys aged 3 and 5 were really excited as this was our first cache. Feel a bit bad as we left some party poppers, plastic recorder and some bubble mixture and took a pedometer and a thermometer! We will return with some more stuff!
Thanks
Thanks
Also found this one second time around with the help of the pics - in fact, without the pics, you will have a battle on your hands (as we did last time). We had the coords out by about 12m. Using the "ladder" provided makes the cache an easy find. Thanks BroMic. TNLN.
Found it second time around! this time with the aid of the pictures. Quite tough to retrieve. Had to slide in to the crevice as it was just out of arm's reach. Took TB and left compass. Was contemplating putting it in an easier to access spot, but nope that would take the challenge out of it!
Great hiding place, had to use long stick to extricate geocache from hiding place. Nearly lost geodad down the hole. Left Cricket TB and Canadian $2 coin, took A$2 coin.
My second nocturnal cache, with Webguy for company. I let Webguy retrieve this one as the hiding spot is very similar to some of his cache hides, and it was only fair to make him do the climbing. Great hiding spot. Well done!
Like Webguy says, there was a pong in the area that seemed to become progressively worse during the visit. It was too dark to see the source.
TNLN.

What can I say, this cache is secreted in a spot that I loved, nice little climb, don't need no ladder, esy to get to and easy to find, even in the dark.
TNLN on this visit. Something smelt like an open drain here and it really reaks.
Did I mention how much I loved the hiding spot?
Well done, excellent spot, though you may want to reconsider the container for a more water tight one.

this was our first attempt ever and we (my Family) didn't find it
we will see if we can find it another day.
we will see if we can find it another day.
My first find. Relatively easy after looking at the photos. Needs some agility. Best for skinny people with looong arms. I make the co-ords out by 8m. TNLNSL, thanks
Steep roads - no problem. Bush Bashing - no problem. Rickety old ladders - no problem. High cliff lines no problems either. But sometimes when the cache co-ords are out, it can drive me mad. We were still able to find it due to the exhaustive hints and photos, but using these hints is probably how most will have to find the cache. TNLN, owing to the fact I couldn't reach my pockets to extract anything. Thanks guys.
A fairly easy cache, only a short walk from the car yet the GPS had me no where near the cache except from the pictures i knew where it was going to be, little iffy going up the old ladder but made it to the cache, filled out the log book and made no swaps, by then the GPS had averaged itself but was still 8m out.
c.j.b. and I pretty much figured which crevice contained the cache (I recognise it from the photos on this page), but we didn't fancy climbing the ladder thing as it looked dangerous, so we didn't find this one.
This cache reminded us of a cave we did a while ago where we had to abseil half way down a 200 metre cliff face then swing into the cave. I don’t know why it does but it does, it not like you have to abseil to get to the cache or the cliff is 200 metres high. Might have been the bit where my legs where dangling over the cliff while doing the cache stuff.
I certainly found the location based on the GPS and the photos, but I could not find the cache. I think you may need to check if it is still there. It is certainly a place for someone with long arms or who is very skinny.
Wandered down the track after doing Swayin'. Found the spot, co-ords seemed OK. Attacked the crevice from above and below but could not find any sign of the cache. Maybe next time...
i fnally got back to attempting this one. and it was 2nd go lucky.
the photos helped a bit, but the co-ords wre about 12 m off for me (although 12m is a hell of a lot close rthan where i was the last time)
i do not reccomend that larger cachers (like myself) attempt this cache on their own, take a skinny person with you. as i got a bit stuck whilst trying to retreive the cache.
none the less a lovley area of bushland so colse to the suburbs
T - TB
L - nothing

Went any had a look for this one with missleah, but unfortunately the rain today cut our search short and the GPS was playing up a bit sending us all over the place. We'll have to come back for this one. Hopefully with better gps coverage and weather we'll have more luck. Thanks
well i couldnt resist a virgin so close to work. so off i went this arvo after i finished for the day. found GZ fairly easily but im stuffed if i could find the cache. there were a few tracks and disturbed earth around the place. plenty of trees but no crevice.
hopefully the marks were of someone who found this little beast. well im thinkin im gunna need an extra set of eyes for this one or some more clues.... none the less i will be back one day to find this
