I feel privelidged to be able to do the math and log a find on this one under the watchful eye of Webguy and Wingnut as it's last ever find. We pulled this one from it's rocky tomb for the last time due to locality reasons, could not complete this little multi without a devil of a photo! Many Thanks Webguy and Thanks for yet another outstanding weekend of caching, Top work and good work on Wingnuts navigational skills I learn't a lot! Took the frog and car and left 6 x AAA batteries picky's to follow. Cheers
As this cache is in a National Park and Geocaching in any form is prohibited in any form in lads controlled by National Parks, I am archiving it. It will be removed shortly.
Thanks to those who visited the devil!

Found this cache this morning after having problems yesterday, I will check my coordinates more carefully next time I dont know what it is about me when i look for the cache I disturbed a brown snake, (a mate of mine reckons I can look for my cache on my own:).If you are from Sydney and want to spend a day in the mountains and find cache's this is a good place to start with some nice little goodies in the cache that the kids would like, also put something reasonable in return and there are also some caches near Lawson pool with some nice picnic areas.

We just love quick and easy Multi's - this is one of the best ones we've done. Nice hide Team Webguy. Took - TB
I rode out on my MTB and finally found this cache after a few previous attempts to seek it out! I was quite determined to find it today!! A great spot with long views. TNLN.
Thanks Team Webguy

Our second cache developed into a challenge thanks to hubbie forgetting to bring the longitude clue. Decided to keep trig longitude, edit latitude (according to the clue) and used compass to mark a line east/west. Two of us headed east and two west. Annette Bugsmasher located cache; well disguised! Thanks for the extra challenge Geoff and thanks also to Team Webguy.
Left a Golf Giftpack and took SES badge.

An easy but enjoyable find, but in Lawson, not Hazelbrook. The boundary is just a little down the hill. This "Mountain" is why Lawson has "The Original Blue Mountain" as its soubriquet on the tourist signs.
Several finders, including us, have had trouble with the pens here. We found out the hard way at the You Come Cafe that pencils are the go in cold climate caches. Unfortunately the spare pencil I keep in my camera bag was missing in action.
Perhaps the next finder will be kind enough to donate one to the cause.
Took smelly candle and obligatory photo Left bike bell
Mr Darcy & [:X][:X]Lizzie[:X][:X]
PS The wild flowers are lovely this time of year.

After doing Fern Gully Falls we decided to give this one a go. Wow two large ,well stocked caches in one day.
A nice easy find beautifull views of the city on the way in, took Stanley screwdriver set left Aluminium water bottle, took photos then left. Sprung by muggles on our way out of the bush. I wonder what they thought two little horny devils were doing in the bushes?.
Thanks Team Webguy for a great cache.

This was supposed to be a quick distraction on the way out to explore a few trails with the mountain bike.
After visiting the Trig, admiring the view and obtaining the required information, I did the easy maths, used dyslexia to enter the waypoint info into the GPSr, and searched a nearby area of bush for 10 minutes. I then checked the calculations and all was correct. I again did not notice that I had 2 digits transposed in the decimal portion of the co-ordinates. After another 10 minute search and another maths check I discovered my error. After a short break to curse, jump up and down and kick my own but, I quickly discovered the good sized cache in a different area of bush.
Took earphones.
Left Stanley precision screwdriver set.
Thanks Team Webguy.

Mr and Mrs Packo
we took the torch, we left a packet of 3 blank cassette tapes. we also left a blue simpsons pen, I put it in the log book bag as your pen wasn't working real well in the cold. we will be heading for your lithgow cache as soon as we get a day off together.

A quick one after work. Nice View! Took 50 Yen TB to put in a cache I plan to set soon.
We had to do this one after doing its sister cache in Lithgow, this one was just as good. Did this one on the way home from selwoods science and puzzles at Hazelbrook.

Our first for the day and a very pleasant cache. Enjoyed the walk and the view - Sydney city was quite clear. We also saw two black cockatoos with yellow tails. They were right near the cache and we disturbed them as we approached and they flew off. Took frogs and left travel bug and xmas decoration. Thanks guys.
Second time lucky because forgot to take the second coordinates with us the first time! Found easy enough with a good lock and enjoyed the views again. TNLN and forgot the camera this time so no photo, oops!
A spot well worth the visit.

Second time lucky on this one. Teamed up with Razanda in early morning, and approched it from two directions. (last attempt was end of day, hot and tired...) Well hidden! Also a little easier with a newer model GPSr. Took photos, otherwise TNLN.
Couldn't find this one. Still learning how to drive GPS. Many scratches, splinters, much sweating later, gave up and vowed to return.
Damn... Could not find it with the gps we were using. This will be fixed shortly.. We will find it.... Had fun thou looking here, there and everywhere..I WILL RETURN....
I didn't think I would have time to do this on way back from a hang gliding weekend in Bathurst. However the traffic was ridiculous as it often is at the end of a weekend, so I thought I'd make a diversion and wait for it to clear. Some guy stopped me as I drove up the road to ask what the thing on the top of my car was, even though it was pitch black. When I told him it was a hang glider, he shrugged his shoulders and drove off.
After being on airfield all weekend in arctic conditions, it was positively mild tonight at a balmy 6C.
The cache was easy enough to find once I got the arithmetic right.
After Webbie's repeated requests for quality swaps, I left a quality CSIRO pen and took the pair of cufflinks.
The mask really is an improvement. You should see the usual photo!
Thanks Webbie.

Found with Missleah and Shaggys after a brief brain explosion on my behalf. 'Who needs cache notes?' I thought. Myself apparently. Brilliant location and a great chance to put the new camera to good use. Thanks Team Webguy for another top effort!
After interupting Webguy halfway up a ladder we relised why you should always take the cache notes with you. Some quick maths and Shaggy made the find easily. We had fun taking photos with BigMickB's new camera. TNLN
Found this one on my way to Sydney for a meeting. With hubby who thinks I'm mad. Great spot. Thanks Froggy 346.
Now if my memory serves me right and I know that’s asking a lot, you used to be able to buy mountain devils as souvenirs from the Scenic Railway place. Now before someone starts a “save the devil†or “devils must be set free†campaign. They where seed pods that if you drank enough or smoked a certain substance looked like a devil.
WOW! MY FIRST NIGHT CACHE!!!!!
That Rocked!
I REALY need to purchase a head torch, borrowed Mr. where's_wally's for this cache.... but now im looking into one of my own.
Some seriously spectacular views of the city lights from here.

With The Rat we concluded our couple of days of fun & adventure in the hills. The weather unfortunately had turned a little gloomy as it does sometimes in these parts.
Found on a cold windy day...
Was expecting to find a travel bug in there but no luck...
Some good quality swaps to be had. Left intact.
Ever

A day late on grabbing a virgin, but hey I got one of my keyrings backs so I'm happy. This was our last mountains cache for the Rats & Bats today.
After walking quite a few km's over the past 2 days what the hell we could do 300m more. We found the cache after a short hunt and then headed back to the trig for a few laughs. Will upload the photos soon.
Thanks Webby for providing us with a laugh.

Well...Well...Well...
Our first virgin cache !!!
How sweet it is... [^]
What a great afternoon for a short walk.
I have mountain biked around this area some years ago, but never made the trip up to the trig station. The view late in the afternoon is quite pretty, but I think on a clear early morning would be stunning!
Love the devil mask... Mwahahaha...
Took - Vic D. Beaver TB and Cylume stick. Devil mask pics!
Left - Buckling Wheels TB, hole punch set and SES keytag ('cause we thought The Rats might be running low on these by now!)
Thanks for a very enjoyable cache Team Webguy and oh yeah... Our first FTF!!! WooHoo!!
